As you're tuning in, let me know what you're grateful for today. Now it's a long weekend here in Canada. Feeling well. Awesome. That's so great to hear. Let me know in the chat what you're grateful for today and what's a big win for you from this past week. Nikki says, I'm grateful that my mama is in town. I only get to see her once a year.
Aww.
That's so nice. Amazing. Glad you get to spend that quality time with her. Steph says, grateful for our session earlier and how I'm feeling. Awesome. I'm so grateful for you too, Steph.
Good.
How are you today, Elizabeth?
Good.
Nikki says my big win is reintroducing some foods that I thought might hurt me. And so far, so good. I'm taking it slow, though. That's a good idea. Yeah. One one new food each day. Right. Just so we can kind of get a better understanding of how certain foods and behaviors impact us. Right. And really using your aura ring as well as it helpful. Okay, awesome. Well, I'm gonna let people trickle in here, but we will get started with our session today. Okay. Okay. So I know Nikki shared her big win, so I guess we have a smaller group today. Maybe it's because of the long weekend, but we can make it a little more intimate, which is nice. So why don't we start with just everyone kind of sharing what their biggest win is from this past week? So I'll ask to unmute you, and then you can share. So, Kat, I see you first on my screen, so you can go ahead and unmute and let us know what your biggest win was from this past week. Doesn't have to be related to the program necessarily. Could be, you know, personal or anything, really.
Hey, everyone. So I am, I guess, like, just getting to know myself and my body better. So I did really well the first couple weeks of the program where I was like, oh, I got this, you know? And then recently, I feel like I've been detoxing, and that's been challenging, not challenging to follow the program. I'm. I'm not experiencing hunger because we can eat so so many veggies. I am a vegan, so it makes sense to me. But just in the last. You know, you feel like you're getting to the end of that third week, and things are going great, and then you go, whoa, I'm starting to get some headaches and some issues in my gut and tummy troubles. And so I just feel like this is a great opportunity. This whole program has just been a great opportunity for learning and really sort of, if you're a very service sort of oriented person as I am, it's really nice to be allowed to slow down and focus on your own health and well being. And so this has just been really powerful for me.
Awesome. Thank you for sharing that. Yeah, I think one of the biggest takeaways for most people when they're going through the program and even coming out of it is the increased level of awareness that they have right. Around their body and their food choices. I think it just brings a lot to the surface which many of us may, you know, just with day to day life, we get so busy that we kind of don't listen to our own bodies. Right. So I think with this program we really want you to slow down, shift more into that parasympathetic state and really get more in tune with your body. Right. And the little signs and signals that it's sending you. Right. Not always just around food, but around anything really. Right. Even with regards to your sleep and your bowel movements and just any little signal that your body is giving you. Right. So really tuning into that and recording.
All of this has really been sort of eye opening. I realized I don't ever get enough sleep. So sleep hygiene is top one is a really big thing on my list at the moment.
Yeah, absolutely. And I think, you know, it's. I was just speaking with a client earlier this morning and like I was telling him, I think like 95% of our clients, when they first come to us, they're not sleeping well. Right. And I think one of the key things is, you know, just like when, for any of you who have kids or have, you know, when they're, when they're little, we, we have a bedtime for them. Right. Like whether it's 9 or 8:30 or whatever it is. But as, as you get older, you don't really have a set bedtime. And I think one of the things that happens with adults is they just don't have that consistency when it comes to their sleep. Sleep specifically sleep time and wake time. So one of the things that I really have people pay more attention to is their sleep time and wake time and how consistent they're being and really trying to get more consistent with the sleep time and wake time. And that in and of itself can make a huge difference for people. So I would say for all of you who are listening, just pay attention to that this week. Right. For those of you who have an aura ring, it might be a Little easier because it tells you what time you're going to bed. But if you don't just pay attention to that and record that just for a week without changing anything and see how consistent it is or if it's all over the place and then you know that that's something that you have to, you know, work on. Right. So just really pay more attention to that this week, I would say, as step one. Right. And then step two, you know. And some people, I have them switch this. Some people I have them, you know, sometimes it's really hard for some people to. One thing I notice as well is people get to bed way too late. Right. We're up at like 11 and 12 and 1 and 2. And most of your healing and repair in terms of physical repair, psychological repair occurs from 10pm to 2am so if you're going to bed at like midnight or 1am or 2pm, like, if you're going, you know, for people who are going to bed at midnight, they're missing out on 50% of that repair time. Right. So slowly shifting the bedtime back, if that is an issue for you. Right. I don't expect you to like go to like 10, like all of a sudden. So even 15 to 30 minutes, like every couple of weeks, just shift it back until you're closer to that 10, 10, 30 mark. Right. I know for some people it's just virtually impossible. So even if it's 11. Right. That's still going to be better. So just slowly shifting the bedtime back is. Is going to be huge. Right. And then focusing on sleep environment. Right. So is your room dark? Is it cool? Are you avoiding blue light?
Right.
And sometimes we focus a lot on the things we do right before we're going to bed. But even throughout the day, getting sunlight exposure. Right. Whether throughout the day, morning, you know, noon, you know, trying to get those sunshine breaks throughout the day is going to be important as well. Okay, thanks for sharing. Hey, next. Nikki, go ahead and unmute. I know you kind of shared in the chat, but I know my pardon.
Yeah, that's all right. Yeah. No, I'm just grateful for the whole experience. My sleep has been amazing since the release, so I. I actually am a sleep coach trying to live by what I preach. However, it was never just 100 there. And this program opened my eye because of the aura ring on how much the do was disturbing me. So I kicked the dog out and it really was the last piece of it, my journey. And so, yeah, aura ring, even having a couple stressful weeks My aura ring is showing. Okay. You know, telling me exactly what I needed, what I knew I needed to know. So I, I feel like I'm aligned with it and I can. And now I can talk the talk and walk those.
And I think it's just getting that data really points out to you, like, oh, like, you know, when you, certain things, like you can see how, you know, those little behavioral shifts have such a huge impact on your sleep or vice versa. Right. There might be some behaviors that we might be doing that have a real negative impact on our sleep. Right. So like I know for sure, like if I have a late meal, like that's just going to throw off my heart rate variability and my resting heart rate. I don't drink alcohol, but I know people who do drink alcohol when they have it. It's like same thing, right. Their resting heart rate really increases. Their HRV really tanks. Their REM sleep really tanks. Right. So just paying attention to those type of things and learning how to read the data can provide a lot of insight into how certain things are impacting our sleep. Right. The other thing like last. Was it last week? Last week. So I love bike riding and like, of course it's like the summertime and sometimes like we don't get around to doing it until after dinner. So we were doing like some late later bike rides. So like we were going out like 7:30, like you know, for like half hour hour bike rides. And then like I would see on my aura ring, it's kind of annoying but like my resting heart rate wasn't going down right. Because it was too late in the day. So like a lot of type of things you just gain a little insight into. Right. And then you kind of have to weigh the benefits and the risk because like that's activity. It's something like I really, really enjoy. So it's like that benefit is probably greater than like the impact that it had on my resting heart rate. Right. So like, you know, nothing is ever going to be completely perfect. Right. So we, we pick our battles and we weigh out the benefits versus the risks. Right.
So yeah.
So just, I think, you know, like you said you kicked out your dog and you noticed your sleep has improved. Right. So those like little things can really make a big difference. Right. Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Okay, Elizabeth, go ahead and unmute. What has been a big win for you this past week?
Just, you know, I meet quite a few. My sleep has been quite pretty good most of the time. Even got crowns.
Okay, good, excellent.
So it varies but you know, that's okay. So I'm experimenting, you know, basically need to relax.
Yes.
Before going to bed. Yeah. And I mean, I just wrote down. To go to bed at 10.
Yes.
Would be because you get your deep sleep early in the cycle.
Yep.
And that's when the brain gets cleaned up and all kinds of other good things are happening to the system. Exactly. Also, I have been going to the gym and doing one on one workouts, so that's great.
Excellent.
Because he's pushing me, but, you know, I'm still not. I'm. I really don't get sore, which is great. You know, it's just.
Right.
And see what else. Oh, yeah. And I'm going through this fantastic program that Deepa told me about called fdn. Functional Functional Diagnostic Nutrition. And more than halfway through.
Wow.
Yeah. I mean, I'm just. Well, it helps to have some background.
Yes.
You know, so I don't have to look up the terminology. Oh, yeah. What's an epithelial cell? That kind of stuff. And. And I did all the tests.
Good.
So waiting for the results because that's when I'm going to review.
Yeah.
Anyhow, let's see.
I think.
I love. I love your. I love your zest for life and learning.
I love it. Learning. Yeah, learning. See, it's. I mean, this program is just perfect because I don't know if you know, but I actually studied neurosciences, have a master's, and then I was in a graduate pharmacology program. So I studied physiology and pharmacology along with the medical students. Not that I wanted to have anything to do with practicing medicine, but I just wanted to learn so that I could be empowered, you know, instead of saying, yes, ma', am, yes, sir, yes, I would question and do my research. And really it was all about, you know, being healthy. So this program is just fantastic.
Good. Awesome. I'm glad you're enjoying it. Yeah. So for those of you who are interested, a lot of people, like, after they go through this program, you know, will be like, well, how can I do something similar to, you know, what you're doing? And some people just want to, you know, do some sort of certification for their own self. Right. You can apply it on yourself. So the certification that Elizabeth is going through and I've. I've almost. I'm almost there. I have like my written exam and my oral exam. Sachin is an FDN practitioner and I'm literally almost there. I have two more exams. I've done other functional medicine certifications, but this is this one, I'm. I'm. I'm almost done. So it's called Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, and I'll put a link if you're interested in learning more about it. Pull that up. But, yeah. So Elizabeth had asked me. She's like, I really want to do something like this. What do you recommend? And so I recommended this course for her, certification course for her. And you're just flying through it.
You're gonna be.
Be done before me?
I don't know. It takes a while to go through the test. But, you know, but what I. What I really love about it is that it has, you know, has the science, the background, and they don't just tell you, okay, here's the best nutrition for everyone, including you. No. And you actually look at the. How the. Look at the issues with the body being balanced as well as whatever symptoms you might be having.
Yes. Yes.
So then what you do. So instead of just saying, okay, do this because it worked for me, you know, you actually find out what. What is going on in this particular body.
Yeah.
And everyone is unique, so you don't just treat without testing first. So I. That's why I'm really all excited. Okay. I don't think I have leaky gut, but I want to know exactly.
Yeah.
For sure. Yeah. And then I was also excited about taking the food inflammation test.
Yes. Yep. Yeah.
Because that way, could you find out what kinds, you know, like everybody says, okay, this causes inflammation. This causes inflammation. But now you find out exactly what causes my inflammation. Exactly.
Yep.
Yep.
So, yeah. So Elizabeth did a food inflammation test with us. And, you know, the nice thing about it is that. So here, I can pull up mine so you guys can see, but it tells us. It tells you what specific foods you are having an inflammatory response to. So let me pull it up here.
You know, I mean, I can tell you about mine. I mean, the wheat was big deal. Not that I had. I didn't think I had any symptoms. Any problems. You know, maybe a bit of bloating after I eat.
Yep.
Bread. But to actually see that. Yeah, I get a really strong inflammatory reaction to wheat. Anything.
Yeah. So mine. This is my test here. So the red is a strong reaction. So. Or severe reaction. So mine was spelt. The Plus 3 is a high reaction. So blueberry lettuce and snapper. And then the moderate is whole wheat, banana, cantaloupe, eggplant, cinnamon, swordfish, and black tea. And then it also tells you your. Whether you have leaky gut. So my leaky gut came back positive. So you know, that's something that I had to. I'm still doing the protocol. You have to do it for at least like three months at a minimum. So I'm still doing the protocol. So, yeah, a lot of great information. Inflammat and it kind of gives you, you know, very specific foods that you might be reacting to. And, you know, when I eat blueberries, I feel fine. But it could be a subclinical inflammatory response. Right. So if any of you are interested in that, I can put a link in terms of how you can access that as well. Okay. Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth. Okay, so I know a few other people have popped on the call, so for those of you arrived a little bit later, we just sharing what your biggest win was has been this past week. So the next person I see is Natalie. Natalie, you want to go ahead and unmute? Yeah.
Hi.
I had. I've been using the aura ring also for several months. And then I had a car accident which left me kind of immobile for almost 12 weeks, 11 weeks. And I was following my AA ring and wasn't getting my steps in. And my sleep was pretty good during my rest and recovery from my accident. But now that I'm free, I'm in physical therapy, which is great. I'm making leaps and bounds there. But I noticed that I'm getting my steps, which is important to me, the movement. They noticed that the, the cardiac age being, it was, it was four years less than my chronological age and then it dipped down to three years and it made me really nervous. So I'm trying to work back to getting that cardiac back to being at least four years less. And then this week I actually attended a concert. So I didn't get home till midnight, was up till 2, only got 5 hours sleep. And then the next night I was exhausted. I think I went to sleep at like 7:50, ended up with almost 10 hours sleep. So it's just really. And then I can gauge it on how I'm feeling for the day and understanding instead of being crabby, it's just such a nice way to say, okay, yeah, that's, that's maybe why I'm feeling like I'm feeling today. And then it's also very encouraging to see the daily reports. I, I jumped in late and you guys were talking about sleep and oura ring. So I just decided to share that win from there.
And.
And I think the win would be just really being able to see from that one night staying out so late, getting a bad night's sleep, being Dragging and then the next night trying to pick up. So it really does help. Yeah, absolutely. The perspective. And I got to utilize the breathing exercise. I love their little four or five minute exercises. You can do the relaxation because I find that I'm in mostly the engaged and stressed mode most of the day and that concerned me because my heart rate variability wasn't. I didn't think it was great, but it seems to be getting better now that I'm getting more steps in. So it's good.
Good.
Amazing. Yeah. It gives you such great insight. So for those of you who don't have an aura ring, I don't think I have one right now, but sometimes I have. Actually no, I have a link where I think you can get $50 off. So I'll put that in the chat just because there's a lot of talk here about the aura ring today. So I'll put that in the chat if you're interested in getting one. Thanks for sharing that. Yeah, it gives you like just really great insights and you know, ways for you to go about your day and, and modify your, you know, behaviors. If you're more in the stress state, like maybe taking more, you know, breaks like to, you know, focus on some breathing or some meditation or whatever it might be. Right. So I think there's a lot of new features that they've added which it goes beyond just a sleep tool. Like, you know, it gives you a lot of insight. Like right now I just opened mine up to see what my daytime stress is and it says I'm in a restored state, which is nice. I love doing this call with you guys. So maybe that's why. Hey, awesome. I don't know. The rest of the people don't have their camera on. But I'll just call on you and if you can unmute you and share, that would be great. But we're just sharing a little bit about what is your biggest win from this week. So the next person I see is. I think it's Ronald. Ronald, are you there? You can go ahead and unmute if you are available to chat. I know sometimes you tune in from work, but if you can unmute and share that would be great. If not, then we'll go to the next person. Okay. Someone says I'm in the middle of whole food so just listening in. Okay, thank you for sharing. And then we have Jenny. Jenny, do you wanna. Jenny's is, is new to our community, so welcome Jenny. So good to see, see, see you on the call today. What is your biggest win? So Far from this week.
Well, I haven't started yet. My first appointment today, waiting on the aura ring and my spray. So I don't think it's here till Monday.
Okay.
I think my main thing is I'm just gathering questions about what I've been doing and what should I stop doing. And I've read through the booklet and all of that. I'm wondering about bubbly water. Yep. You know, obviously unflavored, no calories, that, that's an okay thing to do.
Yes.
You can do sparkling water. So if you wanted to do like Perrier or Bubbly or Pellegrino, you can do sparkling water as long as the sprout. Some brands, like, I think San Pellegrino has like the little cans that have added sugar. So if it has no sugar, then it's fine.
Okay.
Yeah.
Cinnamon in coffee.
Yes. You can do a little bit. Yep. A little sprinkle, which is a nice little treat since you can't do cream. Cream or sugar. Yep.
Getting used to that. And then lemon, fresh lemon juice in my water during the fasting. Is that not a good idea?
Yeah, so that's a good one. So for some people, they're just like really sensitive. Like it's very little in terms of like sugar content, but there is like, it is. Lemon is a fruit. Right. So there is a little bit of sugar. So for some people, when they sip it throughout the day, it can break their fast. So you can put things like cucumbers in your water or like berries in your water. You could put slices of lemon, but I wouldn't maybe actually squeeze it. You can put ginger mint leaves. Yeah.
Yep.
You can flavor your water those ways for sure. Okay.
Yeah.
Good. Yeah. And then the other thing is I have a four night girls trip as well as a two week camping trip at the very end where I'm on the maintenance phase. So, you know, I'm just trying to figure out how I'm gonna do that.
Is your girls trip during the release phase or maintenance?
I.
It's the release phase. So I, I think I better start afterwards. When is it I get back? It starts Wednesday to Sunday. This next week.
Okay.
Yeah.
So if you haven't started yet, then maybe just hold off. You could maybe do your loading days.
Like I don't know about doing that. Saturday, Sunday.
Yeah, yeah, that would be a problem. Exactly. And then for your camping trip, you'll be on maintenance, so, you know, it shouldn't be that much of a problem. We try to say to introduce one new food at A time. But if you're on a camping trip, that might be a little more difficult. But when you're on your maintenance phase, just try to really pay attention to how you feel with certain things that you might reintroduce. There are, you know, we've had a few people who have gone on camping trips, either in the release or maintenance, but there are lots of. I don't know what you do for food when you're camping, but there are, like, you know, it's nice now because they have, you know, those prepackaged, like, foods that you. You take sometimes when you go camping. There are a lot of healthier versions now.
Yeah. We cook real food, so, you know, I just try to measure stuff out before we leave.
Yeah. You know, do that. Okay, great. Yeah. So you could just, you know, take.
The alcohol will be the tough part because we're going to a wedding. I'm with all my Colorado girlfriends, and you know, they drink beer like crazy.
Yes.
I will have to keep that to a minimum.
Yeah. And like, you know, like we've said on this call is just really try to pay attention to how certain things impact you specifically. Right. So if you do happen to have a beer, like, see what happens on your aura ring. Right. See how you feel intuitively. Right. And I think that awareness is key because once you know how a behavior or food or beverage impacts you, then you can make a more informed choice.
Yeah.
Right. So, yeah, but you're going to do great. So, you know, you've got, you know, all of us to help to support you. You've got a great coach. Annalisa is absolutely amazing. So you. You're going to do great.
Right?
Thank you very much. You're welcome. Awesome. So thanks, everyone for sharing. Super helpful. Just to see what is working well for you. Now we're going to move on to another question, which is where do you need more support? So does anyone want to unmute or volunteer where they need more support? I know we talked a little bit about the sleep aspect, but anything else that you feel like you're struggling with and you need, you know, a little help. Kat, did you want to. I'm going to change it so that you can unmute yourself. Let me see. Okay. So you should be able to unmute yourself. Okay. Kat, do you have anything that you need a little more support with this week?
I have to say I have been so impressed with the support that I've been receiving from Annalisa.
Okay, good.
Yeah. So, you know, she says, Keith, she'll. She'll put something in the comments and then I'm thinking, I don't know if I, you know, I don't know if I think that's accurate. And then I reflect on it and then I might google something and I go, oh, that's exactly the little key that I needed to open the big door.
Yeah.
So I found, I found her support to be on point and an incredibly helpful.
Helpful.
Good.
Awesome. I will pass that along to her. I'm glad. I'm glad. That's helpful. Yeah. So you know, for those of you who are, you know, on the release phase or even as you're in the maintenance phase, making sure you fill out your daily journal entries because that's how we have that day to day accountability with you. Right. So even Jenny, for you, as you're starting, make sure you fill out the daily journals because that's how we can coach you best and give you that day to day feedback and course correct if we need to, rather than waiting till your appointment or waiting till these calls. Right. So really make sure you're filling those journals out so we can support you best.
And I guess the other thing that I would just mention is we only know what we know, so sometimes we don't know what we don't know. And so I might not know what to ask for. And so it's, it's for example, like the kitchen clean out. So I might do that the first time I grow grocery shopping after the loading phase, right. And I'm like, okay, I've got all my organic foods here, I'm ready to go. And I start cleaning out my kitchen and getting rid of things that I haven't used, I'm not going to use. And then two weeks later you realize, oh, there's more I need to do, you know, so it's sort of a process and a journey.
Yeah, absolutely. I'm glad you brought that up because, you know, a lot of things that you probably learned through this program are things that you, you know, you didn't even have a conscious awareness about. Right. Until you actually go through it and start implementing things. Right. So yeah, I'm glad you brought that up.
Okay.
What about Nikki? Do you have anything that you feel like you need support with this coming week?
I'm pretty comfortable. I don't really. I just had my mess, my meeting with Natalie yesterday. So yeah, got a good plan going. Heal my healthy gut and I'm off my reflux meds. And so yeah, a matter of reintroducing and see how it goes. But I do want to do the food inflammation testing.
Yeah. Yeah. Some additional insights in terms of what might be. Might have. Might be causing it or, you know, what foods you might want to stay away from. Exactly. Awesome. Thank you. And Natalie, anything that you need any support with this week when it comes to your program, your reset program?
I think I'm pretty good. I'm in the maintenance phase still. I think it's a work in progress. Even though when I started, my biggest thing was I wasn't eating enough. And I worked with Natalie also and just really looking and understanding what foods I need to get into the day for my protein was my biggest thing. Some older and plus healing from surgeries and going through therapy, it's made me think about all of that. I. I'm good. I. I like the support also that we get through this.
You know, the.
The whole journey. It's been great. It's just been a big eye opener. Even though I've been a practitioner for so many years, we still have so much room to grow and so much to learn about ourselves, and it's just been just wonderful. Fascinating.
Good.
Awesome.
The coach needs a coach sometimes, right?
Oh, yeah, always. So I'm just going to continue to work on getting those macronutrients in, like the proteins and the good fats and enough vegetables, which I'm real bad at, but it's always in the back of my head. You know, you. Like you said, you know, you're not going to change overnight, but it's definitely good to know that you can change over time.
And that's.
That's where I'm at. So we have to walk the walk the talk.
Exactly.
Yep.
Absolutely.
Good.
And I think that's what, you know, that's why, like, for some of you that are on this call, like Nikki and Natalie are in one of our other programs. They did the metabolic program, but they're in a program where we teach practitioners how to implement this program into their practice. As a part of that, we have them go through the metabolic reset program themselves. And that is because we want them to be a product of their product and we want. A lot of practitioners are facing something called imposter syndrome, where it's like they're telling their clients to do all these things, but they're not doing them themselves. Right. So we want them to really be, you know, that's why we call it the Living Proof Institute. We want them to be living proof. Right. So we have them go through the program and be on the receiving end. Right.
Of.
Of rather Than always, you know, delivering a program, they're receiving it through our coaches and going through it as a client and really experiencing some of the benefits and how, you know, they may not be doing a lot of the basics. So we have them, you know, start off as patient zero, so to speak, and go through the process so that they can be living proof. So thanks for sharing that, Natalie. Hey, and then, Jenny, do you have. I know you kind of asked a few questions there as you're starting, but anything else that we can support you with or anything that you have any further questions about?
I think I thought of another thing. I have some background stress going on, and I was injured by. I think I told you this. I was attacked by a dog last year, had knee surgery, still recovering, and now I'm in this litigation thing. So, you know, that is not fun. I don't recommend it, but I'm gonna follow through with it. So I'm in the middle of that. And so it does disturb my sleep because I have all this extra stuff I have to do, let alone my work. So I'm excited to get the aura ring to see what's happening with that. And then the exercise piece. I've always been a pretty big athlete, and then now I'm. I can't really do the things I want to do because of my physicality problems with my knees. So through this program, I, you know, I'll be walking, trying to do some stretching, and then just do some arm weights, and that seems like that would.
Be a good balance.
Right. I mean, I love biking, too. Biking on the road, spin biking. If I just did some biking, like, 10 minutes or 20 minutes, that's not too hardcore for this, the release program, would you say?
Yeah. So as long as your heart rate is not, like, you know, drastically elevating, as long as you're, you know, familiar with, like, the zone, so, like, staying in, like, zone two, you know, and not overexerting yourself, I think it should be fine. So keep things as light as possible. That's not to say that you have to be immobile, just, you know.
Yeah, yeah.
Walking and things like that. And then the other thing is, really, with the stress is just focusing, you know, certain things are out of our control. Right. So, like, this whole thing that you're going through right now, like, it is what it is, right? Yeah, yeah. And I think, you know, just hoping for the best outcome. Right. Of course, like, the damage that's been done, like, unfortunately, that can't be reversed. Right. But, you know, really try to be in the present moment. Because sometimes it's like, oh my gosh, what's gonna happen? Right. And like with things like that, like you really, you know, your thoughts can really go to the future. Right. Like what if this happens? Or what if that. Or what if this. Right. So really just try to be in the present moment as much as you can and focusing on what, what's happening now. Right. And focusing on your breath as much as you can, which because the. The future, like we don't know what's going to happen. Right. And it's just going to cause you more and more anxiety. Right. So just really trying to be more in the present moment I think is going to be a big one for you so that you're not always like future casting and then like, you know, going down the spiral of anxiety and then losing sleep. Right. I know it's obviously just something like you said that's in the background, that's like an annoyance. But just trying to like another thing I'll tell people sometimes because you know, sometimes we get so fixated on things like that that are obviously it's a big stressor, but just maybe in the morning. I don't know if you have like a gratitude journal, but focusing on all the things that you're grateful for.
Yeah.
Right. So that can really help for sure. Yeah.
Keeping everything in perspective.
Exactly. And just help you shift your mindset a little bit. Right. That like it's not all doom and gloom. Like there's a lot of that you have to be grateful for as well.
Yeah. This soon shall pass.
Exactly it. Everything like. Yeah, that's perfectly set. Right. This too shall pass. So.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Any other questions, comments, Anything about the oura ring or sleep? I know those were kind of two big topics that were brought up today. Does everyone know how to use the resilience thing on the aura ring or the daytime stress? Yeah. Okay.
Yeah.
And it's good to just check in with that periodically throughout the day as well. Right. Just see where you're at when it comes to your stress and your resilience and can give you a good indicator of when you need to like, you know, de stress or take a moment for some breathing or breath work. Right. I know sometimes just with your day to day it might be hard, but it just gives you an increased level of awareness. Right. In terms of what's causing you stress. Okay, Any other questions or comments? Anyone want to bring up anything else? Okay, well, I will let you all leave a little earlier as it's a long weekend. So enjoy the rest of your day, enjoy your long weekend, and we'll see you next Friday. Next Friday I'm going to be away.
