Hi, everyone. Hope everybody's doing great. We're going to get started shortly. We'll just give a few minutes for people to join in. Welcome, Nancy. Welcome, Beverly and Deepak. Good to see you. We'll get started in a couple of minutes as people trail in. I have an agenda for today. We're going to go through a little bit of a. Something we call a yogic coffee for energy in the day. Then we're going to go through. I'm going to talk a little bit about mindset and then we'll open it up for Q and A. How you doing, Beverly? Good. Good to see. Yeah. Hi, De Pack, how are you? We haven't met. I think you're probably working with Deepa or Sachin. So good. Welcome, Nancy. Great to have you, honey. Have any of you done a yoga coffee before? No, Thanks, Beth. All right, so let's get started. It is noon and I know there'll be people trailing in as we're going through. So the first thing I want to do is welcome you and, you know, hopefully you had a great week. We're going to talk about wins shortly, so make sure you in your mind, you're starting to think about what are the things you're going to celebrate that you've achieved this week and past weeks. But I want to start with something called a yogic breath or just really during the day. Sometimes we have lack of energy, but we want to just increase that energy and we can do that. Taking the van. Right. Let me just mute. Whoops. Sorry. So as we're going through, here's the kind of the steps that we're going to go through. We're going to do this together. It's very simple technique. It can re energize you in the morning when you get up or sometimes, you know, at that 2:00 clock if you're still having those kind of feelings, like you need to nap or you need that pick me up, we'll do this same thing and you could do two. There's two different forms of this that you can do to help with increasing that energy. It's also called bellows breath. So what we want to do is sit up straight. You do this at your desk. I'm going to teach you this way. It's much easier for some people who have difficulty or can't do the standing form. You're going to inhale and exhale forcibly through your nose. We want to practice doing through our nose. And on inhale, you're going to raise your arm and open Your hands. So your hands, as you inhale, you put your arms up and your hands will be open. And when you exhale, you close your hands and you pull your hands down. So it's kind of as you're going to go through the process of breathing, we also can do this standing. So if you were to stand, you can do it so that your hands are here and you're just going down and up, down and up, down and the same kind of process. But for today we're just going to focus. Because my camera only has the limited view, we're going to focus on doing for our hands and we're going to do it for 30 breaths, in and out. I didn't prepare music, so we're just going to listen to everybody breathing. Okay. As we go through. So let's start. You're going to sit up straight, put your hands. Your hands will be in fists. And then we're going to, as we breathe in, we're going to open our hands and move them up and then we're going to bring them down and close them and breathe out. Okay, ready? And we're going to do this 30 times. Ready, go. Okay, that was 30 for me. Put your hands on your lap. Now you may feel a little dizzy. That's normal. That just tells you that you need to do this more often. So just focus on breathing normally, breathing in and out through your nose and just feel what that feels like. Do you feel like a little lift, a sense of energy? You can do this through, you know, a couple of times just to increase that energy flow and that breath. And just if you're find you're getting too dizzy, then slow down the breath and the process of how fast you do it as you're going to go through. So let's do one more time. That way you'll be energized for the call, which is good. So we're going to do one more time and we're going to do 30 breaths again. Same thing. Ready, go. That was 30 for me. So you're going to take your hands, you're going to put them on your heart. You can open your eyes or close your eyes, whichever. Just feel your heart breathing. Breathe in and out normally and think about what is your heart guided you towards. It was given to you at birth. Even while you're sleeping, it beats. It does so much for you. Just feel grateful for your heart. As you breathe in and out, holding and touching your heart. Think of something that you're deeply grateful for. Could be a person in Your life could be a place, your house, your car, anything, or a big moment or a small movement, something that you're really grateful for. Step into the moment as if you're there experiencing it. Feel the gratitude. Hear what you saw at that time in the moment. Feel what you felt at that time. Just savor that gratitude, the feeling that you had at that time. Celebrate it. This one thing that we're going to talk about today is celebration. Often we don't celebrate our wins as often as we should celebrate. The world is so negative. It inputs into us and then that changes how we think. Feel the beauty as it touches you all around. You feel grateful for what you've been guided to and then think is what is that one outcome that you're really focused on achieving, that one goal that you want to make happen this week, this month, or even this year that you're focused on making happen? Step into the moment as if you've achieved it, you've accomplished that goal that you've set. Feel that sense of celebration, the impact that it's made on your life and the change of accomplishing that goal, the excitement that comes with it. Feel it, see it, experience it, and then say thank you. Thank you. I love you. I love you. I love you to yourself. We don't often say that. That to ourselves and we need to more appreciate us. So next, I want to. Oh, I have a few other people here. Sorry. Next. After we finish that. I mean, it's. It's a process of. That we go through, of being grateful and celebrating each thing. I'm going to share a presentation with you today. Hopefully it all works out so good. Where's my share screen? And then so far. So today I wanted to talk a little bit about mindset because that's the key for us as we move forward is. Is part of the process of what you're doing is seeing your mindset. And so. Darn it. Okay, I'm gonna have to put. Apologize my. Gonna have to close. Stop my video. Okay, start again. Let me just see. Can everybody mute? Somebody's not on mute. Thank you very much. So let's go through. Okay. Somebody isn't muted mute. Okay, perfect. So let's go through. We're going to talk a little bit about today about path to peaceful mind. That's really important, about renewing your mind, renewing your thinking as you're going through. And this is a synopsis of some things that are in your modules that you have access to. So when we think about seven tips that we're going to talk about from a mindset challenge. What are seven key things that we can do to shift our mind so that we can move in the direction that we need to go. So each one of these I'm going to talk a little bit about today. Just this. So from a goal standpoint, we often talk about establishing goals. You know, New Year's resolution. How many people set goals at New Year's and did you accomplish them? Are you still, you know, do you still know what they are? I think often we set them and we forget them right in the process. And so our goal is really, as you're coming into the program, if you're just about to get started, you want to be able to establish that daily direction towards what you're going to be doing towards your goal. I'm reading a book by Napoleon Hill. It's the Pathways to Peace of Mind. And in there he talks about a Henry Ford, and he's America's greatest industrialist. He made himself richer than he needed to be, not because of his superior ability of brains, but simply by taking possession of his own mind and directing it towards a definite purpose of his choice. And he kept his mind so full with that definitive purpose, he had no time to think about failure, defeat, or discouragement. And how many times do we fill our mind with those things versus filling our minds with what we're focused on and going to accomplish? And he really chose a definite major purpose for his life work, which, you know, oftentimes other people will look at what you're trying to accomplish and they'll ridicule you or they'll antagonize you. You know, why are you doing this? But you have to have that definite of purpose of what you want to accomplish and don't let anybody derail you on your process. And so when we're setting goals, I often like to say we set goals in looking at a couple of things. One is we set goals by using wor words that are activating. So things like I am or I see or I feel. So in the case of I am, I'm going to give you some examples and things. I'd like you to take a pen and paper out and just try. Start imagining the outcome of what you want to accomplish and what the goals you're setting and use the words to start off like I am. I am embracing positive habits like that support my journey towards a healthier lifestyle, both physically and mentally. That's one example. I am determined to be 145 pounds by June 30th knowing that persistence and consistency will lead to my success. I am dedicated morning exerciser. So you know if there's skills or things that you need to incorporate into your day, set those as your goals that you're going to read every day that are going to encourage you to accomplish the things that you want to accomplish. I'm a dedicated morning exerciser committed to doing a 30 minute workout routine every day before starting my day. I am a mindful eater, focusing on portion control, incorporating more vegetables into each meal. I am a self care advocate, prioritizing seven hours of quality sleep each night to support my weight loss journey. Or maybe it's something like I see myself as confident or peaceful or energetic or pain free or walking on the beach, whatever that may be. And maybe it's about what you're wearing. I remember one of the clients said she, she took her dress out and hung it up so that every day when she went to the bathroom she saw that dress as her goal of what was she was trying to accomplish. The I feel energetic. I feel empowered by my choices. Knowing that healthy decision brings me closer to, to my desired weight and confidence. So you're really focused on that. I am. I see and I feel, I feel proud of myself for taking control of my health, prioritizing my well being even when it's challenging. So these are things that you, I would like you to focus on in setting your goals so you can accomplish those things that you're looking to do. Another one could be I feel determined to overcome any obstacles that come my way, whether it's cravings or plateaus, because I'm committed to my goals. So the other key thing that we focus on is the stories we tell ourselves. Our mental attitude is controlled by desire or motive because you can control your attitude. I know sometimes we feel that we can't. But you are in full control of your attitude that will determine what you attract into your life. Whether it's a positive or negative things or circumstances that support or hinder your path. Think of this past week of, you know, what has come into your life. Is it positive or negative? We have kind of nine basic motives that we really focus on that determine our success or failure. We have the emotion of love. We have the emotion of sex. We have desire for a material gain. We have desire for self preservation. We have a desire for self expression. We have a desire for freedom.
Of.
Body and mind, which a lot of what you're doing through this process and a desire for legacy after we die, which is great with this program you can pass it on and teach others. But we also have two negative emotions like anger and revenge. And we also have another emotion called fear. And you can't, both of those emotions can't exist. We can't have faith and fear in the same moment. And so really, peace of mind comes from the focus on the seven positive motives and not on the two negatives of anger and revenge and fear. So just think about in your past, in your previous week, two weeks, you know, how often are you in that more positive state versus the negative state. And really from peace of mind comes from, you know, not going back through the graveyard of the things that were unpleasant that you experienced in the past. Digging up. I love the comment that he made in the book. It says digging up experience of one's past and dwelling upon them is worse than digging up dead cats. That was such an image of, you know, what we do sometimes to ourselves. So really we want to close the door to our past unpleasantness and focus on moving forward. And one of the things we use in the program is called the crush technique. And so if you haven't received that, I can send or give a link for that as well to make that available so that people can use that to help reframe their current situation and change a negative past to a positive one so we can remember what is it that we experienced. When we look back, we will only remember the good and not the bad. So happiness, people who are happy are most likely to implement the healthy actions and live longer, healthier. So that's one of the key things in your process. And we're going to talk about some things to celebrate. So in the chat, if you can, you know, post and this is, this is a key to your mindset, is how often do you celebrate the goals that you've achieved. And it doesn't have to be big, they just have to be small daily wins that increase your happiness as you go through the process. So type in the chat what you are grateful for that you accomplished and let's I just want to celebrate you and everyone else to celebrate each other on those things that you've accomplished. And if you don't put it in the chat, I'm going to be calling on you. So put it in the chat. And what are some ways that you could, you know, while you're putting them in the chat, what are some ways that you could celebrate your success? Because you know what, if you continue to celebrate, you're going to maintain your motivation and that's going to be reinforced, reinforcing your positive behavior. So some of the things that you could celebrate yourself for or treat yourself to would be a non food reward like maybe getting a new outfit or you know, buying a new book or going for a spa treatment. Maybe it's planning a fitness related outing, you know, trying a new yoga class that you haven't ever done or going for a fun ride run or a walk or a bike ride, something that you haven't been doing. Maybe you have a healthy cooking night, invite friends and family over, cook a delicious meal and celebrate your achievement with family. Maybe it's booking a massage, facial, manicure, something self care to indulge. You could share your success with a loved one so that they can encourage you. I remember one lady, she's an artist and she was having dinner with all her friends and she mentioned gave a picture to celebrate to let them know how much she had lost. And there was a watermelon on the table and you know, a watermelon weighs, you know, on average maybe 4 or 5 pounds. And she said, you know, take that watermelon and put five of those watermelons on the table. And she said that's how much weight I've lost in six weeks. It was like a great visual to think, you know, if you took those six watermelons and you put them in a backpack and you tried to walk around with them and that's the amount of weight you're losing in six weeks, that's fantastic. I thought the image was fabulous. Maybe it's trying a new activity, you know, hobbies, going to a dance class. One of the clients that just signed up, that's her favorite thing to do is to go dancing. Or maybe it's, you know, rock climbing. Whatever it is, you know, find the things that are going to trigger you to really celebrate what you've accomplished. So Beverly says she's have a bunch of healthy meals in the freezer. Way to go Beverly. Woohoo. And Deepak says he's grateful for family. Whoops. I just lost grateful for family. Sister in law gave birth to a baby girl. Congratulations. That's so exciting. Oh my gosh. Another member of the family. That's excellent. Brooke says I've been creating by splurging on vacation, renting a nice Airbnb on the ocean. Oh my gosh, that's lovely. Do you go for walks every day, Brooke? I'm sure. I'm also regularly trying to on old clothing. I love it when they fit. Yeah. Isn't it awesome to get into your treasured Clothes and put them on. Oh my gosh, that feels so good. And Nancy having a girls spa weekend. Fantastic. That's awesome. Way to go guys. That's amazing. So number five is work smarter, not harder. The whole key of the program is to find the ways to go through the program and learn new things that you can do. So what I want to do, some of you are have been going through the modules. I just want to going to share my screen just so I can let me do this. So in practice better often you'll get an email look like this. Oh, this one is not the right one. Hang on. So you'll get an email from Deepa and it will be to link like a new module is available. So you'll open that up and there'll be a link here to view the module. So when you click on that it'll take you into your your practice or your practice better app and you'll be able to get right into if a module is available. You'll see here there's a whole bunch of modules at the beginning which are just getting us connected to the community. Right. This is, I'm just trying to walk through this to make it easier for you. And then you're going to click complete and you'll go into the module. You'll be able to see there's some. Usually there's one activity or a video or something to watch on the topic and then once you're done you'll just click Compete Complete. This one is to join the Facebook group. The next one will be getting a reset started in here you'll get a PDF of the program. If you haven't got your kit yet, it'll be available to you. But as time moves on there are other modules that will open up. So if you're having trouble with digestion for example or constipation, you can come into this section here and you can learn about. Deepa has a video here that will talk to you about optimizing your digestion and some tips of what you can do for that. It's a great opportunity. Here you can read. This will be part of your manual, the Optimizing Digestion. It'll be part of the manual that you'll have access to. So this information will be there too. But also there's additional information here. But don't feel overwhelmed that you have to come in and get all this done while you're trying to figure out things at the beginning. We really just want in the beginning to get these first five done so that you're connected to the community and you know what's going on. But I just wanted to share that with you because some people don't realize that your program is here and the course information is there and there's lots of information Sachin's included on Breathwork that you, you'll have access to as well in there. Thanks, Marissa. I'm grateful for my directions, path and healing myself. Yay. You booked a family vacation. Way to go, girl. That's gonna be so much fun. Awesome. And so from that perspective, you really, your whole goal in this process is 1% better. Every day at the beginning of the program, you're just trying to figure things out. If you don't want to do the recipes, don't do them. If your. Your goal is to just see the visual, put your fridge chart up on the chart on the fridge. You see what you need to do. Put those things on your plate that you need to and just focus on that one little things as you go forward that will help you get 1% better every day. Don't overwhelm yourself, especially in the beginning. Come to this with a creative mind versus the competitive mind. You're not competing against anybody else. You're going to hear different wins from people on here. They may lose weight f than you. That's okay. This is your journey. And you're looking back to last week, how did I do? Or yesterday, how did I do and how can I do better today? You're only in competition with yourself and not anyone else. It's the same thing in life. Trying to compete with everyone else just takes too much brain work. It's not worth it. Just focus on getting yourself better because that's the only thing you really can control. And then the other piece is conscious competency. You're moving from an unconscious competency. Change is difficult for most people. The only person that likes change is a wet baby. We don't like change very much. And what you're. You're going to be going through, the information you're learning about what you're doing, whether you're moving into the release phase or maintenance phase or into lifestyle phase. There are different things you're going to learn as you go through each of the phases. And the key is it's just 1% better every day that we're trying to incorporate what are the new healthy habits that we need to have and then identifying with who you're becoming in the process. That's why the goals are really important to set. And then put those goals somewhere that you can read them every day so that. That allows you to be able to move forward, forward and accomplish the things that you want. And I. We always say you cannot unknow once you know this. And then the last piece is grit. You have to have grit through this process because you're going to grow, you're going to learn. And then you might have a retreat or a rebound, you might go backwards, but then you're going to improve, because from where you were, if you didn't grow, you didn't improve anyway. You're standing still or reversing in most cases, and then you're going to try again and you're going to grow some more, and you might rebound. But in all the process, your improvement and everything is going up and up and up. So in the process, as we move forward, is really about setting those goals, putting them up somewhere that you're going to review them. You know, like the example I gave of one of the clients, she took her dress, and it's. It's right there in front of her, so she can see it every day. That that's what causes her to like, oh, my gosh, I'm on this journey, and I see it. It's the same thing with putting your fridge chart up. I had a lady who had a brain injury, and we created the chart because, A, she couldn't remember she was in a program, and second, she didn't remember what to do. But every time she went to the fridge. Oh, yeah. And she knew exactly what she was doing. And this, because of the simplicity of the program, she got off anxiety medication. She was able to accomplish. I mean, there's so many miracles that we've seen through this process of people doing the program. That's just fantastic. So I appreciate all of you for putting in your. Oh, Susan. Susan. I just invested in going into a transgenerational trauma technique training as part of my destination method coach. Awesome. Susan. That's so great. And celebrating each person's accomplishments is amazing. Who didn't put in? So let me see. Who didn't put in? Dr. John, what are you grateful for? What have you accomplished? Let's celebrate. So those are the kind of the key things that I wanted to just kind of give you a sense of, you know, resetting your goals, recomplishing. I know. Beverly, you've been through the program. You've done twice now, I think. Really? Oh, you're on mute. Do I need to unmute you? There you go.
No, I. I couldn't get. I didn't get through completely the second time around. So I went on to something else and had really great success there.
Good, good. That's awesome. Amazing. So from a. So Brooke is asking what is the most weight people have lost on this program? Well, it depends. So if you. Is your question for the first round or multiple rounds in total. Let me just unmute you, Brooke. And if anybody has any questions, you can post them in the chat or put your hand up if you know how to do putting your hand up. I'll answer questions in order. You can go down to raise your hand. Multiple rounds the most. Actually, I don't know in multiple rounds the most. I'm trying to think of. I know some clients if I. I know from. Because we have not only clients in our own business, but in practitioner. I know in one other lady who's lost £100 and I've seen multiple people lose £100 through using this program. Does that answer your question, Brooke? Yeah, it does. Thank you. Okay, Beverly, do I have to ask to unmute mute again?
No.
Okay.
I. I heard on a podcast.
One.
Of the health podcasts I regularly listen to, that there is gluten in the tooth polishing, whatever it is that you call it that the dental hygienist uses when she cleans your teeth.
Oh, interesting.
And I would like confirmation that somehow.
Yeah, I can ask. I have a dental hygienist who's in that I've worked with. I can ask her directly and then I can let you know. I can post in the group and let you know. I don't know offhand. I don't know if we have any dentists on or dental hygienists on that could answer that question.
I know that the person who said it said that the hygienist didn't know.
Ah, interesting. Well, I'll ask mine because she.
Yeah.
Is she has Hashimoto's just like I do.
Yeah.
And so if there was gluten in there, we've often talked. We're both gluten free and dairy free. So I would assume she would know that whether. And maybe it's. Maybe it also could be that different dentists use different products.
Yeah, right.
From a cleaning standpoint, I know they've changed at.
