Weekly Living Light MRP Program with Anna-Lisa [May 3, 2024]

Anna-Lisa leads the weekly Living Light MRP group through the metabolic reset program: load 4,000-5,000 calories on weekends, take seven sprays three times daily (5-7 hours apart) for the first days, then five sprays daily during the release phase. The program aims to activate your parasympathetic nervous system through sleep, breathwork, grounding, and removing inflammatory foods over six weeks.
Questions this video answers
About 5,000 calories for those with more weight to lose; around 4,000 calories for those with less to lose.
Loading: seven sprays three times a day (5–7 hours apart), wait 10 minutes from food or water and spray under the tongue. Release: reduce to five sprays per day.
Measurements (weight + body measurements; photos recommended) are taken on Day 3.
Renpho (Rempho) scale with an app that reports weight, body fat percentage, body water, skeletal muscle/muscle mass and uploads readings to the app.
Day 42 marks the end of the first round and transition into maintenance for participants completing the 6-week program.

Hi, everyone. How's your week going? You can post in the chat how you're doing this week. Focus on gratitude for what you've accomplished. That would be great. Hi, Sandy. Great to see you. Hi, Diane. Hi, Nancy. Great to see you guys. We'll wait a few minutes. While we're waiting, just put in the chat what you're grateful for or excited about or what you may have accomplished this week that we can celebrate. You. Just wait a few minutes as everybody's joining. Great. Sandy, are you just getting started with the metabolic reset?
I'll be doing my loading weekend. I'm not really looking forward to that part.
No. That's the hardest part of the program, let me tell you, is the most difficult to do. Just make sure you start early, eat frequently, eat higher fat calories. If you don't, if you have a gallbladder, that will help you. And the more you can get done during the early part of the day, the better you'll sleep.
Okay.
Yeah. And Diane's loading this weekend, too. Yay. Awesome. Come Monday, it's like, I don't want to see food again. Such a blessing. But it's absolutely critical to do the work to get the calories, and it resets the body. It sends safety messages to the brain. It really helps with getting the body to be ready to do the losing phase. So you definitely want to make sure at least depending on if you have more weight to lose, you want to get to that 5,000 calories. If you have less weight to lose, you can probably get around 4,000 calories in. But just try to do the best you can. We always say our motto is progress over perfection. We're really focused on, you know, getting, you know, not berating yourself over, oh, I didn't do it. No, just keep going, keep going. It's progress. We just want to move forward as we're going me to statement. So, Nancy, any celebration? I think you're moving into maintenance, which is exciting. Ooh. Yeah. She's through her first round, which is amazing. She's done fantastic. I remember doing the discovery call with her at the beginning and now hearing last week when she spoke and hearing the results was, like, phenomenal. So, yeah, for each person, it'll be different, but I think we see miracles every day of changes of people going through the program and the success that they're getting in a result. And it's really just all of the pieces. So today I wanted talked about the process of being lighter or becoming lighter. A lot of what we from the different components of the program is really about helping our body become lighter. When I say light, you know, a lot of times we think of weight loss as the lighter. That's the process of what we're going through. But really what we're doing is making our body lighter and increasing our frequency within our body so that we can be at a higher level and that allows for the healing of the body. So I'm just going to share now. Unfortunately, when I share my screen, I have to stop my video for some reason, I can't share my screen and do the video. So I'm going to do that. Just give me a second.
Share my screen.
And really, as we move forward. Okay, wait a minute. Sorry about this. Just trying to get this to work. Okay. And then I will do this. So really, when we focus on. Sorry, Hang on for one second. So really, as we're going through and thinking about the process of being lighter, it's all about the things that we're doing. So food, for example, as we're doing food, we're really focusing on taking or eliminating things that in our diet that will cause inflammation and create that inflammation in our body, which makes us feel less light. But our goal is to take out those things so we can reduce the inflammation which makes us feel better overall. Okay, now we should be on the right thing. So the process of becoming lighter is really a lot of different things that we're doing. Whether it's getting good sleep every night that we want to do, maybe it's getting out in the morning and doing grounding. Grounding helps increase the frequency in our body. It's gratitude. Gratitude is at a higher level, a higher frequency. If we can every day. That's why we ask you, when you come on these calls, what are you grateful for? And maybe doing that in a journal every morning where. Where you have three things that you focus on. What are the three things that you're grateful for every day? It changes your mindset. It changes how you go into your day. Connecting with source. Some people like to do, you know, different. We all have different religious backgrounds or different beliefs, but just connecting with source and making that a practice of gratitude. In a journal, writing those things down can help. Loving your work, loving what you do, that is like the most important thing that you can do in your life. It's the difference between being and doing. A lot of times we are doers. We just get out there and do, do, do, do, do, and then realize, shoot our ladders on the wrong, you know, wall we've been climbing this ladder, doing, doing, doing. But really that's why our health is failing is because we're not being who we need to be in that case too. Is this all about speaking your truth, Speaking about who you are and what you believe in as you're going through things and then listening to your intuition and following that. In the case of stressors, we have two different systems in our body that can affect how light we feel. And our whole program is designed to shift you into that, what we call the parasympathetic state where we do our rest, our repair or regenerate, and our reproduction or reproducing. And because our nervous system has these two areas, we, we have a balance between them. We definitely need fight or flight. If you, if a line walked into the room and you were in rest repair, you wouldn't respond to fight or flight and to, to leave the room. And when our fight or flight is activated, that helps us get out of bed. It helps us be motivated to do things. But one of the key things with fight or flight is we don't want to be there all day. And so we're going to talk a little bit about the difference between these two. And I have a checklist I just want you guys to go through and just kind of fill out where do you spend most of your day? So we'll get to that in a second. Because really you can only be in one state or the other. You can't be in both at the same time. And in order to heal, we need to predominantly be in that rest and restorative state. That's a higher frequency in our body. That's where we have more energy for repair. And the sympathetic state is really just an acute. The lion walks in the room. We need the fight orf flight. And then it's not chronic, it's not there. And a lot of times if we are eating foods that we are sensitive to, we can activate our inflammation in our system. And that can be a consistent internal stressor that's constantly causing us to be in that fight or flight. It's the same thing with sleep. A lot of times if you snore or have sleep apnea or you, you breathe through your mouth all day, or you breathe through your mouth through the night, that keeps your nervous system in that fight orf flight. So working on these things and going through some of the course material that we have put in your practice better as you learn these things, try to take one or two habits that you can put into practice that allow for you to Shift the body into this parasympathetic state, this rest and digest. This is where our repair happens. This is where you step on the scale the next day and you go, oh my gosh, I lost.0, 2.4, 0.8, maybe even a whole pound as a result. And you will feel more calm, more relaxed and happier as you're going through your day. When you're in this state, when you're in the sympathetic state, of course you're going to have emotions and things that are running through your body. You almost feel like you're on a treadmill all the time because you're more in fight or flight with worry, anxiety, anger. A lot of times if you're news bound, you watch the news even, especially if you're. Before you're going to bed, that can put your mind in that worry state. Try to focus on doing. And we're going to. I'm going to talk to you a little bit about an app that you can use at night if you struggle with these things where you have too many things in your mind and you can't calm the system down to be able to have a great sleep. Because we need sleep in order for the body to do that restoration. So here's the checklist. I want you to look at the left and the right. I want you to just take a mental note or write down on a piece of paper and of where do you spend most of your day? So from a sleep standpoint, is your sleep disrupted? Do you get up at night? Do you, you know, have to get up to go pee? Do you find you can't sleep? Maybe you have difficulty falling asleep? Maybe when you get up you don't feel rested. You know, that would suggest you're most often on those nights in the sympathetic state. But as you shift and many people who go through the program, usually around week three, our body starts to really calm. We feel great, we get that healing, the digestion repair, lots of things are happening and our sleep tends to become better. For those that have an aura ring, you'll be able to monitor these kinds of things. In the case of sympathetic state, you'll wake up and you'll step on the scale and you've gained weight. Whereas if you're really focused on shifting the body into that parasympathetic state, doing some things that help you to move the body, you'll lose weight easier. Those who have blood pressure issues, I love when clients usually again it's almost around week three, their blood pressure, if you, you have blood pressure Issues, you want to take those regularly and to monitor because especially if you're taking medication and you're blood pressure drops low or normalizes and then you're taking medication, it drops even lower. Then you're going to want to work with your doctor to have that adjusted. But if you're in the sympathetic state, likely you've experienced higher blood pressure. Maybe you went to and had your blood work and your H1A1C is high or elevated versus having a blood sugar and, or blood pressure and sugar normalized. And that's what you're going to see as you're going through the program as your body shifts into that parasympathetic state. In the sympathetic state, your mouth is dry often because you're breathing through your mouth a lot. And if you've suffered with cavities a lot, that's usually because you're breathing through your mouth most often in the parasympathetic state, of course your body's going to heal. Your reproductive system shuts down. I had a client who for quite a number of years didn't have a period, went through the program, and all of a sudden she got her period back because her hormones balanced and her reproductive organs were functioning better. That's amazing. Like, just amazing. In the case of the sympathetic system, if you find you're getting sick all the time, or you're, you know, you're fighting off bacteria, viruses, or maybe your body is inhabited with parasites. That means your immune system is on high all the time and it's, it's got to the place where it can't do the work that it needs to. So shifting into the parasympathetic state is going to help all that. Maybe your digestion isn't working as it should. If you have food sensitivities, especially if you're moving into maintenance, pay attention as you add those foods back in. How does your body react? Maybe you end up with a rash, Maybe you end up with a quickening of your heart rate. Using the oura ring or an apple watch or anything to monitor your heart rate. As you add foods in can help a lot there in if your digestion is working more efficiently, which as you add in more vegetables and fruit, you're getting more phytonutrients. You're eating real food, which is different than the processed food, which has nothing in it. The real food is helping to reset that microbiome and to change your digestion so it's going to work more efficiently. In the case of the sympathetic state, some of you may be dealing with thyroid issues. In my case, it took 10 years for me to get a diagnosis because my thyroid wasn't working. But yet the blood work didn't show and then found out I had tumors in my thyroid that were considered the size of cancer. So you know, those things are happening in our body because we're spending too much time in fight or flight. In the case of the parasympathetic, we know in the program we take fat out in order to allow for the liver to detox efficiently. That allows for you to become more metabolically flexible to allow for the body to do the elimination. And over time you start to feel lighter. And then in the case of the sympathetic, your libido is low versus in parasympathetic, your sex hormones function normally. So when you look at these things, where do you spend your day most of the time, if you can put in the chat what your kind of where you're seeing yourself. And that will help us with getting an understanding of the shifting. So now we, we, our focus is what are some things that we can do that can help shift us in that parasympathetic state. We're already doing the nutrition plan. We're already doing. Yeah. And Sandy. Yep. Sympathetic state. And that's because you're just getting started. Just wait. Oh my gosh, I can't wait for you. Three weeks and things just start to. It's amazing. You just. I can't, can't tell you. I mean, I've done the program twice and the experience has been incredible. So. And that's because I had to lose more weight. So I had to do the program a second time. Yay, Mira. Good job, honey. More in the parasympathetic now. Congratulations. So some of the things you can do to help shifting the body. We have a vagus nerve. That vagus nerve runs from our brain all the way down to our gut. So if you deal with any kind of constipation or issues related to being more in the sympathetic state, we want to focus on what are things that we can do to help that vagus nerve and shift. If you're eating in a rushed state, that will help. That will trigger your fight or flight response. So now your digestion will be upset. You won't digest or absorb that food. You want to focus maybe before you eat, taking three conscious breaths. Just slow down. Chew your food 20 to 30 times. Get it so that it's like mush in your mouth. Because 33% of our digestion happens in your Mouth, So chew. Remember your stomach doesn't have teeth, so your stomach can't digest the food if you don't do the chewing and be present when you eat. A lot of times we can sit and you know, we're, we're watching on our, our phone or you know, doing things outside or standing to eat. That puts you in fight or flight. Now to activate your vagus nerve, you're going to want to stack your habits so you can do a couple of things. Gargling vigorously to the point where you tear. You take a glass of water. Maybe in the morning or nighttime you're already brushing your teeth. Most I, I presume most of you are brushing your teeth each night. So, so at morning or nighttime, add on, you can add on maybe doing a tongue scraper and scraping your tongue. We usually recommend a copper one. I'll put the link in, in the chat later. But that helps to get rid of the excess bacteria. It stimulates the gag reflex that can activate the vagus nerve. So here are a couple of things that we can do. Maybe after brushing your teeth, you do that gargling, chanting, humming, singing out loud. If you're one that likes to sing in the shower, you can use that time tap on to the shower as the time you're going to activate that vagus nerve. Deep breathing. A lot of us breathe in the upper parts of our chest and we want to bring it down into our belly. You have access into the course an amazing session with Sachin. He is a breathwork facilitator. He's been asked to come and do breath work all over the world. He went to Costa Rica recently and did a whole breath work session for dentists which was amazing. So spending time, you know, go through some of the program that he has put together on breath work and learn why breathing is so important. Underneath our diaphragm we have our lymph system. Moving our lymph system and breathing properly will help to massage that lymph system and help to move the lymphatic out. And then that helps to reduce the inflammation in your body and to flush that out. And I talked about tongue scrapers that you can use to stimulate. The other thing that's really, really important is what are the emotions you deal with daily. This comes from the heart math. We used to use it as a tool, but we found oura ring was better at helping people normalize or at least get information. And it's really about tests. Don't guess you want to be able to monitor things that we Use the oura ring because what you do today, you can understand what happens tomorrow. And so when we look at depleting emotions, so think about in your day how often you spend time in depleting emotions, in fear, in frustration, in impatience and anger. These are toxic to our body and they cause the release of stress hormones in our body that shapes, shifts us into that sympathetic state. And what that does it, it leads to reduced muscle mass, it causes brain cell death. So any of us that are dealing with brain fog can be related to this impaired memory, accelerated aging and really a diminished performance. So think about this week as you're going through your week. Where do you spend most of your time? Is it in these depleting emotions or is it in these renewing emotions? Renewing emotions are care, courage, tolerance and appreciation. I can remember dealing with my mother in law. I've had 20 years of looking after elderly and my mother in law had dementia. And we didn't know in the beginning. And so it was hard because her personality was shifting and I had to really get clear on as we understood what she was going through. Separating her her from the condition she was dealing with because she was quite angry. And that could lead you to become a little more frustrated in dealing with the situation. And so I had to separate the two and love the person. I may not have loved what she was doing, but I loved the person understanding what was going through. And that grew in me a lot more patience for dealing with people. And so some of the things that come to us that we experience a lot of times are helping us to become better and changing our emotions. And so renewing emotions increase longevity, helps build resilience in our body versus adversity, helps improve our memory, it'll improve our problem solving. Being more intuitive and creative helps to boost our immune system. And it's really when you look at, I don't know if many of you heard, heard the term heart rate variability, that's the shift. If you look at the coherence and the appreciation versus frustration, it's totally different. And so as you monitor with your oura ring, for those that have the oura ring, you're going to start to see your HRV go up. And that's just meaning your heart and your body is becoming more resilient and more coherent as you're moving through shifting to the parasympathetic state. So we talked about stimulating your vagus nerve, going for a walk in nature. There's so many things that we see that are so different than in our house, unless you have plants everywhere, which is a good thing too. But going for a walk in nature, there's so many prisons, so many things that our body is, you know, and the frequency at which our body will resonate is higher. Walking on a beach. I know when we go to the beach, we often feel more energetic or more at peace too. It's like a. The ocean, the waves, all of that. I use an app called Relax Melodies. It has binaural beats. And I also use the Muse. The Muse has ocean sounds and things that really help me feel like I'm at the ocean and then bring in that calmness state in my body. Be more present at each moment. You know, often I see on Facebook, you'll see a little kid who's trying to get the attention of their parent and the parent is on their phone and it's kind of like, come on, come on. And so be present in those moments. They're only. If you have younger kids, they're only young for a very short period of time. Or if you have grandchildren, same thing. They're only young for a short period of time. And be present with them. Do something you enjoy. I think a lot of times when we get sick, we give up our habits. We don't have the energy to do those things that we love to do. Find the things that bring you joy in your life and that will help shift you gardening time. Now we're seeing great weather here. I live in Toronto. We're now starting to get to the time. It's almost May. We started getting some of our seeds done and getting plants and things and gardening. So rewardful in the end, when you. You have your produce and you actually have put the time in to grow that, think about how much time it takes for a plan to grow and all the things that it needs in the process. Napping. If you're having difficulty with sleep, take a nap. That's okay, but focus on maybe about 30 minutes often. I'll put on. I'm going to do a little bit of an insight timer with you. I'll put on a meditation because I can't just lie there and go to sleep. It's not. Or rest or meditate. I've always found that more difficult because the brain could go and do things. But if I have input coming in that helps me relax, that can allows me to get the proper rest if I've had a difficult night. Spend time reading a good book. There's lots of great books that can help us understand our body, our system. Listen to Music Journal do breath work. So a lot of these breathing techniques as Thatchen talks about, there's the heart focused breathing that allows us to be present with our heart. There's box breathing with. If you're in situations where you feel stressful, the box breathing is amazing. It's four breaths in, hold for four, four breaths out, hold for four. So think of a box as you're breathing. If you practice this outside of stressful situations, then when you get into the stressful situation, you can just naturally go into that form of breathing again. Three deep breaths through the nose before you eat. These are all key things, but I highly recommend you go through the breath work that Sachin teaches in the course modules. The course modules are dripped out a little bit at a time, and it will give you good insight to how to breathe and why we need to breathe the way we do. So what I wanted to do now is just focus on Insight Timer. If any of you have trouble falling asleep, you have trouble just calming the brain or calming the mind. You have what we call that monkey mind. Sometimes we have difficulty. You just do one of the. So we have difficulty when we're, you know, just trying to calm our system. And so I'm just going to set this off. Just, you know, follow a little bit along. I'm only going to do it for a little bit and then we'll get into Q and A. But it's just. Insight Timer is a great app. I've had many clients use this, especially if they have difficulty falling asleep. But she, Sarah Blondin is amazing. Really help you connect to your light in your body and really get to the point where you can feel good. So I'm just going to play this for a little bit and then we'll get into Q and A.
We have already gone through the hardest, most challenging thing to date, which was being pushed from the comforting waters of our mother's womb into the light of day, where we had to learn to see, to feel, to speak, to walk, to breathe, to love in a very unfamiliar and unknown place. So a part of us is okay with this and is able to move through this with grace if we are willing to just slow down little bit in order to find for ourselves our own okayness. So let's just get comfortable and close our eyes and just settle into ourselves. Imagine a stone being dropped in from the top of your head, traveling down your spine, through your chest, and let that stone settle at the bottom of you. And imagine the water of your body getting calm. And as your water gets Calmer and calmer. Bring your attention now to your heartbeat and your heart center. You can even put your hand on your heart if you'd like, if that helps. And I want you to imagine that your heart is actually breathing. And stretching your breaths out to long sort of wave like breaths. I know the mind is going to create and continue to create the cocktail of fear and panic and anxiety. But I really want you to try just to focus on the heart right.
Now.
So that we can begin to open the heart's pharmacy, Going within to cultivate the qualities that we actually want to feel. Kindness, love, Acceptance, Safety. I want you to begin rocking slightly from side to side as if you would a newborn babe, As if you would a life new to this earth, Becoming the mother we most need, Embracing ourselves, wrapping our beings in the frequency of our own heart. May you find comfort in this moment. In the arms of your own self. May you accept the challenges of growth that are at our doorstep. May you accept. May you find within yourself your willingness. To stand as love in this moment, To move as love in this moment, To speak and to see as love in this moment. May you remember that you've never truly been a alone, That your heart is beating for you, That your breath is breathing for you. You have never truly been alone. May learn to look for the grace wrapped around this moment. May you learn to see the grace hidden in the crack. May you feel the grace. Rising from this moment that has ultimately brought you home to yourself.
Foreign. So lovely. She's great. If you can get a chance to go and spend some time in Insight Timer, it's a great app. It's free. You can go and has hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of different meditations you can do that will just help calm the body. How does everybody feel? Just going through that process of being present and calming helps shift us into that parasympathetic state. So if anybody has any questions, you can unmute and we can talk and I'll try and help you out with everything that you're depending on where you're moving from. If you're getting started, you're in maintenance. Any questions just. You can type them in the chat if you feel more comfortable doing that or you can unmute and ask them. Do you have any questions, Sandy, with getting started?
I don't know what. I don't know yet.
Yeah, that's good. Have you read through the first part of the manual?
I did read the manual, yeah.
Okay, good.
I have it handy to refer to.
Okay, good. Okay, thanks. Farhana, have A great day. See you next week. Diane, you're getting started too. Do you have any questions about getting started? Maybe that can help Sandy? So my. Go ahead. Do you have any questions, Diane? I. I don't.
I don't actually.
Okay, I'm seeing you're. You're already got things going. You're. Have you had a chance, Sandy, to. I'm not following you. So I think you're working directly with Deepa. Your. Have you had a chance to start journaling and start to get. Understand what you're going to be uploading to practice better?
Yeah, I didn't start journaling. I thought I'd wait till Saturday on my loading day.
Okay, perfect. I know some people will just post something just so they kind of get a handle on how to do it and that. So really it's just the food, you know, eat, eat things that you're gonna miss. That's all I could tell you is, you know, for the six weeks you're gonna be doing the program, it becomes very simple habits. You know, our body loves routine. So when we get into doing the routine, it's been two years. Oh it's coming up on three years, I think since I did the program my first time. And I've maintained doing the same thing all the time. And my body just loves that routine. I don't get hungry anymore, but I just know I can just set my. I don't even have to set my watch. I just look and go, oh, it's 11:30, I need to have lunch. You know, it's sort of the way the body becomes. And just same with going to bed at night, you get to that point where your body says, okay, this is your regular time to go to bed. And it's just the routine. It may seem simple and boring, but the routine is the. Keeps the body in that parasympathetic state and helps so as you're moving through. So food. On the first two days with loading, the key is going to be seven sprays three times a day, five, seven hours in between each spray and then 10 minutes from food or water and then spray under your tongue. When you shift from the loading days, those two first days, you're going to shift into the release phase. In the release phase, you're going to move from seven sprays a day to five sprays. I highly recommend you put on your phone a reminder for the afternoon one. I don't know how many times, you know, I know I'm supposed to do it, but how many times you get busy and you're like, oh, and, and what I also suggest is when it goes, when your phone goes off, you go do it. Because otherwise you get back to doing something else. It's like, ah, shoot, I forgot to do it. And you don't want to if it's too close to, if you miss the middle one and it's too close to the second one, you're probably just best off just having the last one of the day if you miss your middle one. The only thing you might notice if you miss sprays is you might feel a little more hungry as a result. And in the beginning you, if you really need to, you can do cucumbers and celery, have those on hand. If you're feeling a little bit hungry in the, in that first kind of part of the week, usually by the second week you won't need it. Your body, it will have been shifting into that metabolically flexible burning your own fat. And so as it does that, you get less and less hungry because your body just can burn fat, your fat or the food you're eating to make energy. So that helps a lot. When you're going through shifting into release phase in the first week, really focus on what's on your plate. So you have in your welcome kit, you got the chart, the fridge chart. Yeah. And you can put that up that the plate gives you kind of 4 ounces of protein, 4 ounces of fruit, 4 ounces of veggies. Just focus on doing that. You. Some people get overwhelmed by trying to do recipes and then it's a lot, it's really a lot when you're shifting. Just think about, I got four ounces of protein, I'm going to put four ounces of chicken on my plate. I'm going to put four ounces of, you know, fruit in my bowl and I'm going to do 4 ounces of veggies and then some unlimited veggies, which might be just a salad, you know, or some, some of the greens or things that you can incorporate. That just helps the first week with overwhelm because you, you got a lot you're shifting and trying to get your head around. So just make it the easiest shift as you can. And our motto, progress over perfection. If it something happens, just pick up and move on. Right. We, we go through, it's the same thing in maintenance sometimes, you know, I, I find you get to the week six and a lot of people like, oh my gosh, I need pizza or I need things. And then you have it and you go Oh, I, I, I, I missed it, but I don't miss it anymore. Because as you go through this process, your taste buds are going to change and you're not going to want those things that you had before. And sticking to the program on a long term basis will help you maintain your weight and your health. Because our whole focus, if you think of your body as a tree and the leaves on the tree are your symptoms, your symptoms. As we shift the lifestyle habits and the changes and we upgrade those, the leaves on the tree go away. And so those symptoms will start to dissipate as you move through the program and you will just start to feel better every day because it's all about that 1% better. But if we go back to our old habits, that just shifts us right back into where we were. So these are things you're learning. And I guess one thing we always talk about too is identity. Our focus is who we're becoming. So we're, we're on this journey to become healthier. And so we're focusing on each step and habit that we're putting in place that we're going to maintain as we move into lifestyle, which is 10 weeks from now, which is a long time to think about. Right.
While we're going through the losing phase, we no alcohol. Is that correct?
That's correct. Because it's high in sugar.
So you're enjoying it this weekend.
Yeah. So you're eliminating sugar and fat. Those are the two things. So if you take Omega 3s for example, you're not going to take those through release phase. Similarly with body lotions, you want to try to keep to the fractionated oil if you can. Thanks. Oh, take care, Nancy, it was great to see you. But the fractionated coconut oil, if you can use that, it doesn't absorb into our skin, so it won't.
Okay, that was going to be my question. Why could we use that? It's a fat because it doesn't absorb. Is that why?
Yes, that's correct. Yeah, it doesn't absorb into the skin and so that way your body won't be burning it as fat, which is key to ensure your success on the long term as you're going through. So that's one key thing. Mira fun victory today. I'm 34 days, just have my body fat remeasured today I've Whoa. 5.2% body fat and very minimal muscle. Yes. Amazing. The Rempho scale. We had a gentleman who was very good at looking at the Renfro scale and the numbers and he said same thing. He lost a bit of muscle when he was going through the program, but most of it was fat. So your Renfro scale, if you, if you. You can do it online where you can hook it up to the. I think when you get the Rempo scale, you create an. You download the app and you log in and you can get results on your phone so that you can start to see the measurements of what's changing, which is pretty amazing. And he was great.
Is that the scale that we got with our kit you're talking about? Oh, I didn't remember.
Yeah. If you haven't done that yet, you can download the app. And then when you go to do your measurement, you'll click on the little measurement or the little app, and then when you step on the scale, it'll automatically. You'll hear like a ding, ding. And it'll automatically upload to the.
To the app?
Yeah, to the app. Sorry, I'm trying to read the chat and talk at the same time. It's like walking and chewing gum. Doesn't work all the time. No, I think you'll be fine. Diane. Diane's asking. The only lotion I use is a face cream from a Duterra. Should I use the fractionated coconut on my face? I used my skincare. I wear makeup, so I have to. And if you use fractionated coconut, it's not going to take your makeup off. So if you use makeup, I would highly recommend that you use the skin care that you use normally. Mira, I don't have the scale. I did this at the. Why? The scale that you sent does that, too. Yes, Mira, the scale that we sent, it's a Renfo scale. It has an app. If you download the app, you can see it'll give you your ratios as you've been going through on the app. It gives you your weight. It'll tell you your body fat percentage, your body water, your skeletal muscle, your muscle mass. It gives you all that. So if you haven't downloaded the app, I highly recommend you do that. And then that way you could look at the changes that are happening as you're going through. The other thing, too, is your measurements. So make sure you do your measure. I have a client that I'm working with right now. She forgot to do her measurements. Now she doesn't know she's. This is her second round. So she has her measurements from the first time she did it, but she forgot to do it when she started the second round. So she went back to look and she's she knows that she's lost from the first time because she did her measurements at the end, but she missed in the middle. So just a reminder to do that so that you can keep track of what's going on. But you know what? Our. Our best measurement is our pants and our bra. I had a one lady. She went down four sizes in her bra in the program. In six, she did the program twice. So she. In 20 weeks, she went down four bra sizes, which a lot of toxins get stored in our bra, in our bra, in our breasts. And so by eliminating that, it's amazing. Okay, Mira, take care. Have a great day. Any other questions, Sandy? And getting started.
No, but we do measurements on day three, right?
Yes, that's right. Yeah. You're going to take your weight and then your body measurements. Yes, on day three.
Yeah. And she was telling me, take good photos, too.
Pardon me?
Photos. She was telling me to make sure I take photos.
Yes, correct. And also if you take a lifestyle photo, sometimes we can. If you take, like a picture, you know, with your face in it, too, you can see the difference from before. And like, six weeks from now, we'll see. Usually some people will see a change in their neck, their face, those kinds of things too, which is lovely.
Okay.
As we're going through. So any other questions?
Nope.
No. Diane, any other questions?
Now, just when I get off here, I will set my alarm for the first spray tomorrow morning and download that app.
Yeah, perfect. And then set. Set the afternoon spray so that you have it from now till day 42. So it'll like a reminder on your phone. Set it up so that from now till day 42, it'll just. Yeah, because the. The morning one and the evening one, you tend to remember. Remember it's that middle one. Because you're busy doing whatever you do. I don't know what your daily routine is, but you get busy doing something, and then it's like, ah, shoot, I forgot to take it. And then you don't want to deal with the hunger. Right. Then it's harder to manage. And if you really, really missing the crunch during this first week, you could do a rice cake if you need to try to do just plain, plain Jane. But if you don't have to do it, don't do it. Your body will transform.
Celery, too.
Yes, that's right. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. That's correct. So great, Diane. All good. So if you don't have any other questions, Sandy, we'll sign off for today.
Oh, do we have this every Week at the same time or.
Yes, we do.
Okay.
Yeah. And people come and they ask questions and. Yeah, and I'll usually do Deepa or I, whoever's running the program will do like we did that little bit of a meditation and then some training on a topic. We'll pick something and then we go into Q and A and ask questions or answer questions of those who are shifting. So some people. Because everybody's at a different place in the program. Like you're getting started. Same with Diane. And then Nancy is moving from. She's just finished. I think Monday is day 42 for her. So she is now moving into maintenance. So everybody's at a different place. And Mira is in the middle. Middle to end of her release phase. So everybody's in a different place. So our questions are a little bit different. Most often we have lots of questions at the beginning of release and lots of questions at the beginning of maintenance. But I think if you're working with Deepa, you'll probably be able to book an appointment with her that you'll. Before you go into maintenance. And then you'll be.
Natalie. I already had a consult with.
Oh, you did? Oh, okay. You work with Natalie. Very good. Oh, my gosh. You love Natalie. She's fantastic. She just joined the team recently, but she's been running her own business, doing the same thing that we do here. So, yeah, they brought her on board. She's fantastic. Love, Natalie. So great. I'm happy to hear that. That. That's awesome. So. All right, well, if there's no other questions, we're going to sign off for today. Have a great week, everyone. Focus on being more in that rest and restore state. The more we're in that state, the more the body will heal and do the things that it needs to do. So have a great day, Sandy. Take care. Bye, Diana.
