How to Stop Overcomplicating Wellness and Feel Good Again with Stephanie Gambetta
5 Aug 2026 · 48 min
Stephanie Gambetta, who runs the peptide startup Loop, talks with Lori Harder about why wellness routines can drain joy instead of restore it. They cover peptide therapy, Loop's new GHK-C serum, and how simple play and nature beat over-engineered bio-hacking. About 10% of Americans now use GLP-1s, and Stephanie stresses the need for education and community to use them safely.

I'm numb. Like, I'm feeling numb. It's worrying me because, like, the little things that excite me were just, like, not exciting me.
It feels just like me. Yeah, yeah, flat.
Just flat. Yesterday we went out and played. My boyfriend and all of our kids went on a boat all day. The fog had just kind of lifted.
What happens is when you don't do those things that make you feel like yourself, you don't feel fully like yourself.
I thought it was all these things— my hormones, my peptides, my sleep. And then I'm like, it was just like getting out of my own way and going to have fun. I just realized that we have to play.
All right, welcome to another episode of I'm Obsessed. I'm sitting here with my co-host Stephanie Gambetta, and I'm so excited to chat because we have endless things to talk about. We're going to try not to talk about work too much, but we're probably inevitably going to be talking about, about work. But I kind of want to catch up with you because we're, we're going to share 4 ideas today of things that we are obsessed with, but We were just talking about this before we hit record, that you were kind of going through a period in your life where you're so like, there's so much going on at Loop. Yeah, the peptide education company. Like, there's so much going on. It's a startup.
Yes.
And I mean, startup life is 3 to 5 years of just like getting it going, getting it off the ground, getting it really to a place where there's systems and everybody understands what's going on. Yeah. But the thing is, is that the peptide world is also changing so fast. But honestly, everything is changing. Everything right now. Yes. So you were telling me you're kind of feeling like, oh my God, I'm feeling a little flat lately, which is not like you.
Yes.
Yeah. Okay. So tell me.
It was weird. Like, I didn't— like, as a female too, you're like, is it hormones? You always, like, want to make an excuse for something. But I was like, okay, interesting. Like, nothing's really exciting me. Like, I'm just kind of going through the motions. And, you know, the first, like, couple weeks I was like, okay, I'm going through the motions. I'm sort of tired. Maybe I've been traveling.
You're traveling a lot.
Yeah. And then I was like, I'm numb. Like, I'm feeling numb. And how do I get— I was trying to explain it to my partner. Like, nothing is exciting me right now. And like, it's worrying me because, like, the little things that excite me were just, like, not exciting me. And I was really thinking, I'm like, oh, could it be my GLP? Which happens a lot. Like, you know, you All of a sudden you're dopamine. But I'm like, no, cuz I've been on that for a long time, on and off, and I've really never experienced that. Is it my hormones? Is it all the above? I don't really know. Except yesterday we went out and played and we, my boyfriend and all of our kids went on a boat all day. And I don't know if it was just like the ocean air, like we did not talk about work once cuz the kids were on there and we laughed and had so much fun. And I woke up this morning and I was like, the fog had just kind of lifted.
Mm-hmm.
And I voice messaged Lori and I'm like, I think I'm back. And it wasn't, I don't think, I don't think anyone might have noticed that I wasn't totally, you know, I think someone really close to me might be like, okay, Stephanie seems a little bit flat. Yeah. But you know, it just, it cycles and I just realized that we have to play.
Mm-hmm.
You know? And I think you and I are wired the same way and especially when we love what you do. Right. And we have a lot going on. Right. So there's like, there's some crunch stuff and there's this and there's pivoting and there, and. It, it consumes you.
Mm-hmm.
And then all of a sudden it's like, okay, maybe I'm too consumed. I'm too obsessed.
Oh my God. I, I get into that. I'm, I'm in that phase right now. Yeah. And it's kind of like, I don't know when I'm gonna get out because I am in a launch mode right now. Yeah. Which like, even my brain right now, I, I, you walked in and I'm like, okay, I have to pivot into, we're gonna go have a conversation. Because what can happen is you start using one side of your brain so much.
Yes.
That all of a sudden you're like, oh wait, I'm, I'm not really feeling like you said, I'm not feeling excited about things. I'm not feeling like you're just stuck in the mode of getting things done. And it feels good is the thing is like it's, it's kind of giving you this dopamine of like, oh, things are moving and I'm getting things done and I'm growing. But all of a sudden you realize this very important piece of your life. And I love to have fun. Like, I love to laugh. I love to have fun. I am a very physical person, meaning like I want to be on a boat. I want to be swimming. I want to be wakeboarding, um, wake surfing. I want to be out on a mountain, like, doing all the things. And that's when I really just feel like myself. And so I think what happens is when you don't do those things that make you feel like yourself, you don't feel fully like yourself. And then you can start going, what is wrong with me? And a lot of times for me, I know there's so many different factors, but it's fun. It's, it's like always go Yes. Do something, go with some different friends. And I think what can happen for Chris and I is we love to hang out so much is that sometimes it's like, oh, it's also important to go.
Yes.
Hang out with different people, different couples, different friends.
Yes.
Do different things because different is important. And Chris and I always say like, okay, if you, if you're feeling bored in your life or like you're saying flat, I actually love that word flat. It's helped me describe the feelings really well.
Depression, depressed seems like an extreme word for me at least to describe it.
Yeah, it doesn't feel that way. It feels just like meh. Yeah, yeah. Be flat. Just flat. Um, and you know, we're like, if you feel bored, it's probably cuz you're being boring.
Yeah.
It's like, that's right, right.
And bo— to me, bored was definitely not, yeah, the word, but like, yeah, but bored, unexcitable, you know? And I do think it's easy in the summer to get on social media and, you know, who's in Europe and who's going here and you're kind of like, what chapter am I in and where, how am I showing up and what does it look like? And so almost like taking like a pause. But I, I also think sometimes as women, like, at least I can speak for myself. You overanalyze it. Like, I'm just kind of like, I thought it was all these things— my hormones, my peptides, my sleep, my— and then I'm like, it was just like getting out of my own way and going to have fun. Like, totally truly doing, like, getting into nature, things that really actually like fill my soul up.
Uh-huh.
You forget.
Okay, have you seen this whole like pivot in social media right now that's like really talking about how the optimized life is like super boring and awful?
I'm actually loving it.
I love it so much where they're like My friend literally that I did not expect was like on a trip in this tiny bikini smoking a vape and she's a mom and she's like, this is my vacation vape and I'm bringing all of this back. And I was like, I love this for you because it's like, I think everybody's like hiding the fact that they think they need to be so insanely optimized or they don't do the things here and there that maybe make them, that make you forget about everything.
I'm just like, I was saying right now, it's not that deep.
Yeah, totally.
I think we take this biohacking, you know, and we're sort of in that world of peptides. So like, I, I will dance between, we take it so seriously. And then when you actually are like, what fills you up? Lightness, play, nature, water, you know, all that kind of stuff. It's all free. Yep. And just calming our nervous system down. Like we can over, like I'm, I'm like some 12 damn step program. You're like, oh, I forgot my vibration plate today.
Oh my God.
Like you're gonna blow up, right?
Yep.
So I, I like seeing it's actually kind of natural that I think people are just kind of like over, they're over it. I, I'm over it.
I just don't have the time for it. Like even the, like even when I look at meditation, I'm like, okay, 5 minutes. Yeah. Or let me do something on a walk. Let me fit this all in where I can get very obsessed. Yeah. Just like the name of this podcast. That's why we called it that. And so I was getting so obsessed with like, if I don't read my 10 pages, if I don't get my, this is when I was meditating 20 minutes. If I don't get all my vitamins, if I don't get this, if I— and, and this checklist, I'd wake up overwhelmed already with my wellness checklist that was making me feel bad. And now I'm kind of down to the basics. Like, it's so nice.
My skincare, I'm like, oh, it's the basics. Like, I mean, just like, just the products and the vitamins. Like, sometimes I look at my shelf and I'm like, ew, just the overconsumption of stuff. And, and you know what, I've got— I love me a good TikTok shop every now and then and stuff. I look at we're getting sold so much stuff that I feel like, and I think there's part of us that's like kind of competitive, right? So you're like, well, someone's supposed to be doing it all. And one day we're gonna learn that red light is probably the worst thing for us. I mean, it's just like at the end of the day, there's just like these, we gotta just put it in perspective.
Uh-huh. Totally.
I'm gonna say this myself.
Yeah. I mean, I, I, I'm in the supplement world, so I'm very aware of like majority of the things in the supplement world. You're like, this is just amazing marketing.
Yeah.
It's just amazing marketing. But you had said something, you had, talked about how the skincare is now the basics. You— we, Loop, launched a skincare line.
Yeah, it's part of my obsession.
Okay, tell me about it. Okay.
Okay.
Yes, let's dive in.
Yeah, well, we'll start— maybe we'll start there.
Okay.
I'm really obsessed with my skincare line right now, especially our serum GHKC. You guys, like, it's the glitz, the copper, it's the beauty, it's the glow. Like, you hear about it. Yep. I've also been microneedling it, so my obsession is kind of like the microneedling of it. I need to do it. Yeah, we're gonna get in there on the skincare, and it's really really simple. And I'm liking that. Like, even like brown spots are coming off. We talk about that, like fine lines and wrinkles. I'm obsessed with having fun and like kind of going back to like the lightness of something. Like peptides is so heavy, you know, in terms of the regulation and me getting kicked off Instagram again, which just had happened. Like there's a heaviness to it that like, well, when is someone gonna rip the, you know, rug from under you?
Yeah.
Skincare is fun. Like I'm doing it literally, guys, cuz it works so well and it's to see the glow on other people. You're going to see it. Like, one of my employees was— we were FaceTiming, like, "Oh, your skin looks so good." She's like, "It's the serum and the red light and the moisturizer." Yeah. So it's fun to see. Like, I'm just such a girl's girl where it's like, I like when I'm seeing somebody, like, have a glow up or doing something and you realize that, like, it goes back to something that you helped create. Yeah. So that's the best. I am obsessed with watching this and like, I've been playing with it so much. That I feel like that piece of it is just like a little kid, like being chemistry class and like working with my whole team to like create a product that's like really, really functionally good.
Yeah, it's so good. It's like so tightening. Yes, I love it. And you know what's crazy is that Chris, like, I thought I was obsessed. The man is so obsessed with his skincare line. He's like taking yours. He just went to Park City and, you know, so you guys first, at first there were just these samples that you had to like crack open before, yeah, before we got—
and we do have samples, by the way, the new containers.
And so he was traveling and we only had the ones that were like cracked open left. He literally got baggies to take them. He was like, he's like, I hope the airplane doesn't like force the liquid out of the top. I'm like, oh my God, who are you? I was like, this is crazy.
I also think the weird thing is the men are having an equal obsession. Like, yeah, boys, men, like even JP's like, I'm looking really good. He's like using his all the time. And I was like, I think it's also simple. And I think the men also are like, the science behind it, they're like, I can get my head around this because there's just not like marketing overload, right? They're just like, oh, this makes sense. It's simple. You're asking me to do these two things and sunscreen, done.
The research on GHK for your skin topically is insane. Yeah, we were reading it in bed the other day and I was like, this is— yeah, lit. Is this literally like the gold, like, standard?
I think so.
It's nuts.
I mean, we're now doing— we're working, we're in formulation of like a body cream. Like, how nice is that? Just like to have it firming, helping naturally. Like, I mean, all this stuff that you kind of go back to, like, we're doing all these things, including me, to like, how do we look our best, feel our best, anti-aging? So much of them isn't based on like just real properties that are already found in our body.
Yeah.
And it's almost kind of going back to the basics. Well, let's just give our body more of what it already has. It's really fun.
Yeah.
And when something works, you're kind of like, oh shit, it works.
Yeah. Chris. So Chris wants to get, what do you call it, lower bleph.
Oh yeah.
Like, but he just has not had time, like, because it's time out of your schedule and all of the things and downtime. And he's like, I'm traveling all the time or need to be on camera or always at these meetings. And we're like, okay, well, we'll do it in a year or two or whenever you feel like you want to do it. So right now he's obsessed with like trying to— he genetically has like, yeah, you know, the, like the real heavy bags under his eyes, like his dad. I mean, that's interesting. His dad like had them so severely. Um, and he has them where he's like, I wanna get rid of these. But he, that's why he's obsessed with this right now is because he feels like it's one of the, he's tried so many products. You have no idea. Like way more than me. Like a hundred times more.
He can be the guinea pig of our eye patches.
Oh, he would love that. Seriously. So that's like his one. Yeah. That's his, that's his thing. And he would not mind me sharing this at all because he actually loves to like break the idea that men— I mean, men all feel this way too. Like everybody.
Well, I also think the hydration piece, like you put on the serum, it's like, you're like, oh my God, I didn't realize I was like so needing for that. And, and totally, you know, men are just like, they do care, but they don't, they don't have the time. They're like, I, they don't know what, they don't know where to start. Like I think if you're the wife or the girlfriend or anything, like, here you go, here's your product. And it's like, yep, 2 steps, 3 steps. Like, I love that for him.
Okay. So you did your product. Yeah. My product right now is obviously the skincare as well, but since we have to rotate, um, I am just a huge fan of, of self-tanning myself. Oh, so I don't get spray tans at all because I hate getting a spray tan. Like, I don't know what it is, it's like I'm cold. I don't feel like getting naked in front of someone. I don't want to wait for them to put the tent up. And like, I literally— it just feels like it takes so long.
I also don't like the sticky and the smell.
Totally. I mean it's still sticky a little bit. Yeah, it's, it's not like I just want to get it done. And so when I self-tan myself, I have it down to like 10 minutes. So I love the Saint Tropez.
Okay.
The 1 Hour Dark.
How do you do it? Tell us. Like, give us a step-by-step.
Literally, you just get a mitt. It's on Amazon. You just literally get a mitt. It's the foam and you just put it on. Like, I'm not even an exfoliator at all. I'll just shave and then put it on and I leave it on for like 1 hour. You'll have a little bit of color 3 hours is like you'll have great color, but I'll leave it on for like part of a workday.
Yeah.
So like 5 or 6 hours and then you're dark. Like you are like, I'm pretty, I'm pretty dark too.
You look great.
Yeah. This is that on like 5 or 6 hours. So I love it.
But it lasts for me too. There's also a glow. And what's the smell like?
It's not too bad. Like, of course your armpits are going to no matter what. You can't, you can't get around to self-tan, but it's not bad. Yeah. Worked out today and—
We're gonna tag all this stuff 'cause I want it too.
Yeah, I love it. And it's like, honestly, it's changed my life because I just, I'm a last-minute booker for appointments. And so I'd always be like, they'd be like, okay, yeah, I can come tonight at 9 o'clock. I'm like, I am not.
No.
I'm not doing it. I'm not sleeping in that tan.
Yeah, and also like, I feel like when it comes to tan, like it's just like, do it when you wanna do it, how you wanna do it.
Exactly.
If you're gonna wear pants all day, if you're not, like whatever.
Totally. So now I've got it kind of down to like, okay, either Thursday morning or Friday morning, I'm gonna sit in a tan so that I'm nice and glowy for the weekend. Cause you just feel different about yourself with a tan.
Trust me. I'm a little tan from the boat yesterday.
You're so tan. Are you self-tanned at all?
I'm, no, I'm part Hawaiian.
That's so nice.
So I get really tan, but the only problem is like I'll get a short tan, like if I walk around too much. Mm-hmm. So I get a, a short tan, but like this is not tan.
Like I forget you're Hawaiian.
You see me after like going to Mexico or Europe and like if we're like on a coast, you're gonna be like, oh my gosh.
I mean, so is your hair normally really dark?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
It's throwing me off. I know people literally— I'm Native American and people are like, oh yes. Yeah, very dark. Yeah. Show you pictures from 10 years ago.
Okay.
Okay. What is a thing for you right now that you're obsessed with?
A thing is in terms of like a elaborate on anything.
This one's okay to be anything.
I'm really obsessed with like my at-home morning routine. Okay, tell me about it, because I've actually like dumbed it down where it like, it almost just brings me like pure joy. Like I'm like, it's not like, oh, I've got to, it's like, oh, I get to.
Okay.
And so I'm really into the NuFace. I've been using this forever. I use their microcurrent.
Okay. Does that work?
Yes.
Tell me about it because I—
it works, you guys, it works.
I'm having trouble believing it.
Okay. This is the thing is I preach this, you guys, everything's consistency.
Okay.
Like, yes, nothing works.
I mean, your snatch just helped.
If you're like, well, you're very sweet, but like if nothing works, if you're like, I'm gonna dabble. So I don't dabble in this piece of it.
Okay.
Like I literally, Well, get up. It's one of the first things that I do and I do it on the vibration plate. And I'm telling you why, and this is gonna make anyone who's like over all this kind of stuff irritated, but it makes you do it for 10 minutes cuz the vibration plate is 10 minutes. Yep. And I'm kind of half asleep. And so you, but like I find that there's like something just like almost like just repetitive motions of it. And I do really think it works and I think it really helps penetrate.
Okay.
All of the product in. So I'm, I think the thing that I am is like my morning routine, it, it really is those two things. And then I, go along and quickly get ready. But it's like that 10 minutes, and it's almost like you said, it's just like time for myself, and it's like taking my face to the gym.
Yeah. Do you know what it does?
It lifts and tightens. It's being— it's microcurrent. Like, you'll feel it. I mean, I feel like on the highest level.
Yeah.
And it's like, it's like, oh, like, Lori, it's worth getting.
Okay.
The key, the key is doing it though.
And like, yeah, the—
like I said, I used to do it. I mean, I've done it every day, but now since I've added the vibration plate at the same time, it holds me accountable because it's 10 minutes.
Yeah, do you do like 5 and 5 on each side?
Yeah, and sometimes like honestly, I, I will do it for like 2 and a half minutes on each side and get off. So it's like I don't always do 10 minutes, but it gives me— at least I'll look down and be like, I've done this for 5 minutes. Versus if you're just doing it on your own, after 1 minute you're like, this has been a lot. But if you're kind of getting distracted, I don't know.
Okay, I want to ask about the other things, but we're not going to because we're going to save them. Okay, for other questions, because right now I'm like, vibration plate, red light mask, I want to know all the things I use. And but we're going to do that on The other ones, guys. So you have to tune in. We can't like blow the whole wad in the very—
in this very conversation. What is your thing?
It's so basic. I have been waiting for this phone chain for months.
Okay.
I almost— I ordered it from an Australian brand and it took so long to get here. I almost like, cuz you know me, so I saw yours and I was like, mine's not here yet. And what brand is yours? Before we—
oh my, mine are like cheap Amazon brands, but like my girls like, oh, there's another one now, you've got two. I actually, I find them really helpful because when you need to carry a coffee or it's like, it like does something. Yeah. But I noticed it earlier and I almost said, I like your new duffel. It's actually really cool.
I love it. I got two of them. So one is Pearl and one is this. I love, but I knew that I want to, I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like. It's, and I couldn't find a brand except this like international brand, which took forever.
I'm kind of obsessed with that now. I'm gonna copy you.
It's really cute.
I'm like, so I'm so obsessed.
It's really cute. No, Kaylee loves it too. And I'm like, just get it.
Isn't that kind of just get it sometimes? Getting to be girly. It's like, are you kidding me?
It's my favorite thing.
Yeah, just a little bit. Like, look how cute this is.
It looks really cute. We're just putting our phone chains on.
If you—
I mean, you're not seeing this on YouTube, but it's so cute. It's adorable. I'll have to show you the pearl one too.
You'll love this brand. Oh my gosh.
Um, but I love your double chain.
Well, it's just cuz I had this and I just got this.
I'm like, I know, but that's next level. I might need to make a double.
I'm like, she's got a little star. I mean, I don't know, I might need to do a double.
You know what I could do is like a thin pearl one.
I mean, okay, we're gonna hear, you know, it's earrings, it's, it's, it's phone things.
That's the thing about Stephanie, you guys, is like, I thought that I had like a really good jewelry game, and every time I see you, I'm like, I need to add more. I really need to add more. Well, can you—
it was funny, I did a coaching call the other day, and this girl comes on, and we were like, like you and I, twins.
Yeah.
I mean, her earrings are all of the kind of stuff, and we spent the first 10 minutes of the call like just sharing, looking at it. She's like, what is this? And, you know, I did realize, and I was actually telling my boyfriend this, is like your— for women especially, like, I think I heard Molly Sims talk about the other day, and I'm like, I don't— she was talking about clothes and like what, what, like, what it'll say about you. I think actually the, the secret is your jewelry. I think it tells a lot about a woman. Like, it's just kind of like, oh, she's edgy, or she kind of stacks stuff. Oh, she like— yeah, I don't— I think it, it— I get a lot of compliments, I'll be honest, a lot of compliments on my stacks. So it could be my earrings, my, my, my whatever. I don't have a lot of No, everything I really have, I wear. Yeah. Like I have a couple things that like my, my mom gave me, but for the most part, like I'm a person, like even if I want a gift, like I'll just add it.
Yeah. No, totally. I'm, I cannot stop thinking about jewelry all of the time.
Yeah.
I love it. I wanna stack more. I wanna learn more about it.
It's such an expression.
Uh-huh. And it is, it's interesting cuz some stuff doesn't look great together and then you find a brand that you love. Yeah. And then you, it, it, it took me a lot of figuring out.
Yes.
I still don't have it figured out yet. Like, yes. I'll meet someone and go, oh my God, what is that? And then the worst thing for me to hear is that every single piece is like $5,000.
Yeah.
Because I want all 20 of them.
Right.
And I'm like, dang it.
I know. I can't wait for you to come to my studio.
We gotta make goals. We gotta make some goals. We gotta make some loop goals.
I know. Seriously, some loop goals. Let's do this.
Exactly.
Exactly.
You guys come in and be affiliates because we all have goals to hit and we wanna help you hit your goals.
Seriously.
That'll, we'll all hit each other's goals together. Yeah. Um, okay, so let's talk about, oh, well, Idea. Is there something that you've been thinking about?
Okay. You're gonna like laugh at me because it's like such low-hanging fruit that like, I love this.
We gotta kick off somewhere.
And, and you're, it's, it's kind of has to do with something that you're working on with your launch. Yeah. Is that you guys, so like for the, all of you, Pepside world is just like, it's, it where it's gone. Like I'm kicked off social media again and like, not woe is me, but like it is, you work so hard and there's no reason or rhyme and then it just like, it's taken from you. Like, my personal account has been down for, um, 2 and a half months, and like every day is like, it should be coming back, it should be coming back. And so you have to kind of disassociate from it. And I have my own podcast, um, The Loop podcast, and I don't talk enough about my company, and I don't use it as a vehicle to actually speak freely. I do it a lot of things. I'm just kind of dialing in analy— analytics and just stuff like that. And I'm like, wow, my Most popular pet ones are on PetSides. And so I think like the idea of like, how am I getting creative offline? Mm-hmm. Is where my brain is like, and it sounds like it's not that exciting, but like just really, very exciting. How do you get your voice out there in a way? Cuz you guys, it's gonna, this is gonna be everywhere. Censorship is everywhere. Yeah. Like where can you get your voice out? Where can you stand out? How can you be different? So I think the idea right now for me is just like where Where outside of online can I find my voice? Can I make a presence? Can I be? And just like shift it to positive versus like, woe is me.
Okay, I love this. You're going to love my idea.
I know you're going to love my idea.
It's like so crazy that you just said that. Okay, so my idea is really talking about what goes into being the omnipresent obvious expert. Ooh, and it is—
break it down. What does that mean?
So the omnipresent obvious expert is the person that you go to for the topic that you're interested in because it's so clear because they are on multiple different platforms in short form and in long form, and they— like, you can't unsee them. So they're omnipresent everywhere. So for you, like, my brain is lighting up because you absolutely should be a Substack person. Yeah, your— the information that you have, the way that you— they don't edit over there. People should be paying for your information over there. So I don't know if you know this, but it's— you can pay to unlock people. So I pay for people's subscriptions.
Oh yeah, me too. I've been actually an early adapter of consuming it.
Okay, I love that.
I've just been like, hasn't been consistent in the past. I'm about to get very consistent on like where my voice shows up there.
So what you do is you take your top performing peptide podcast and you just transcribe them and put them on Substack.
See, duh. There we go.
It's like, it's, you literally put them into Claude and say, make this a Substack because it's your perfect voice and then train your Claude as well. Which is perfect. So it's literally you, even the little nuances. Like you can say to Claude, like, keep the little nuances that I say.
Yeah.
Like make this a little bit— I, I want this to be like messy. I don't want perfect punctuation. Like you almost want it to be so you.
Yes. Um, well, you know, it's interesting. I was doing it, which is like silly cuz it was like one step further. Like I was going and just like recording me on any kind of platform, just talking. And then I was putting it into my Substack where it's like, I might as well take a lot of what I'm doing. So like, how do you get creative with what you already have so you're not like doing more work, more work, more work, but like, yep, you can get yourself out there.
So literally what you do is you already have so much information from your podcast that you should be owning your email list. You should have your Substack.
You should be, and this is all your own too, right?
You should be all the things.
Yeah.
Especially for you, the thing that I'm, um, teaching is going to be how to, uh, be essentially like a professional guest on podcast. So what you just did and you went on Hunter Williams.
Yeah.
What I would have done if I would have had this out already is have you go through a 5-week accelerator, and it would have been worth it for you. And if people are listening like, oh, that's a lot— no, you guys, people who master this ability to go on podcasts or have Substacks that actually convert— yeah, what we're talking about here is not just going on and being a good storyteller or being able to have a great podcast, because I know that you did that. What we want to do is we have like a full conversion funnel. So it's a conver— I'm, I'm naming it a conversation funnel. So, you know, a sales funnel, essentially you go on Loop and it's like you're going to learn some things, you're going to overcome objections, or you go on, you know, Chris and I's sales page, and if you were going to go look at the Mastermind, you would see like what the Mastermind is, who it's for, overcoming objections, testimonials. There's a natural sales flow to every single sales page And what people need to master is how to do it through conversation. So you're literally just doing a verbal sales funnel from start to finish. I love that. That doesn't feel that way. It feels like by the time you're even midway through a podcast, the person on the other end should be eating out of your hand because you are the obvious expert in that arena. Mm-hmm. That the next thing is they're, they're hoping that you have something.
Yeah. Because they want, they're, they're listening for you. Exactly. I also think the podcast world has gotten really interesting. Mm-hmm. And this is kind of. I mean, you've been doing it, you're an OG, but I'm seeing from a, a listener perspective, I'm only a year into my podcast. I guess I'm really particular right now. I don't like the pay-to-play. Like I, I can feel it, I can sense it. I'm like, I just like, why would you do that?
Oh, when someone goes, so you guys, for anyone who doesn't know, like, oh yeah, when you go on a show, there's a lot of people right now on the big podcasts, um, who go on and pay. Yeah. It's a lot, a lot of times it's like people with products.
Yeah.
But go on and pay and it feels like very scripted. Right. Yeah.
And I'm liking the ones that are like an hour.
Yeah.
Like, I'm like, they're getting shorter. I've noticed that some are 40 minutes, some are 45 minutes. Like, I like that. It's just like, it's digestible. I get what I need. It's not lingering. I'm not bored. It's keeping my attention in the sauna or wherever I'm listening to it. But I do feel like it's also not— they're not as long. There's not as many that are like an hour and a half long or something. Unless they're like— I mean, Hunter and mine was really long, but like for the most part, I'm liking the content being a little shorter.
Uh-huh. Well, I like it because there's not a whole lot that we do anymore that's like a full hour. Like, yeah. Car ride to work for a lot of people is not really an hour. It's probably 20 or 30 minutes, you know. A walk, a walk, a sauna, little under an hour. Everything is under an hour. So it's crazy though, because some of the long-form content is crushing. Like Diary of a CEO, it's— well, people go back to that and pick it up. So they'll pick it up for like 2, 3 days, sometimes 4 days in a row. So it is nuts because it does crush. And actually, when you get to go on a podcast like that, when you are a master— like, I, I would never go on one of those right now until I like fully practiced even more because it's like the opportunity that comes with that much of a long-form podcast. Yeah. Is like conversion city because I'm actually gonna read this quote. The study is by Robin Dunbar and it says people need to spend 2 to 7 hours with you in order to feel like they know and trust you. And after 7 hours is, is essentially when people start to want to buy from you. So when you think about short-form content on social media, it's great except how long is it? 10 seconds.
Yeah.
How many posts a day do you need to equal 2 minimum hours, or 7 for the buyer?
Years.
Years.
Yeah.
So when you're thinking of social media, for a lot of people that's going to take so much time. But you know, sometimes what happens is like, you know, Steph, if you had a million followers and every single day you posted 4 times a day, if I land on you, what happens is I can consume a lot. I could stay on your page for an hour and all of a sudden I'd be like, oh, I'm already starting to like know her and trust her. But what people don't get is like they're not even posting once a day. Like, you should literally be posting a lot if you're only short form. The omnipresent obvious expert has short form, has podcasts you could go consume, has YouTubes so that you can condense the time very quickly into making sure that you can spend that 2 to 7 hours with an expert if they're obsessed with you, and then they buy. So what we want to do is shorten the buying time.
I love that.
We use—
I've always felt this way, at least for me and my audience. I'm like, if you want to really get to know me, go to my podcast.
Yes.
Because I just feel like you can just get, I mean, hopefully you guys too. Like I'm obviously new on yours, so like, okay, now this is episode 3 or 4.
Yeah.
4 maybe. Okay. I'm getting to know who this girl is.
Like I get her voice.
Like I'm kind of starting to understand who she is. Like that's what I love about podcasts. Like I kind of feel like I know the person and like they can get vulnerable. They're not gatekeeping. They're just going like, okay, like I'm still trying to figure some stuff out. Like I, I like that piece. Um, just transition real quick cuz we're talking about obsessed stuff. Like Are you listening at all to the Candace Owens, Charlie Kirk? No, not at all. Oh, God. Okay.
You can fill me in now.
Well, we're not going to totally go there, but it's fascinating if you guys are listening to Candace Owens really deep dive into what's going on with Charlie Kirk and why his death, how it happened, and his wife and all the kind of things. I mean, it's kind of like your algorithm will be all that. So be very careful. I think I'm going to give the little piece of why I'm obsessed with it. There is, it's kind of like, like you were watching a series. Like, you're like, wow, is this really happening in life? Like, I think there's so much stuff that we're like, yeah, that's weird that Epstein died in jail. I mean, there's so much, she's connecting the dots on so many things. It's everything. It's like she's unraveling like a murder mystery.
Really?
Wow. To be honest, a murder mystery, like in real time. Like you'd read a book and she's, I mean, I'm scared for her life to be honest.
Yeah.
Because it's like, this is, this is scary stuff. But it's fascinating, like really unlocking everything. And she's very good at articulating her feelings and her founding findings and all of that. But that's probably another rabbit hole you don't wanna go on. But like, because my boyfriend is, I'm obsessed with it. I'm kind of obsessed cuz I feel like it's on.
It's like your Netflix at night now.
100%.
Yeah. Is it doing anything to your brain? Are you being like, oh my God, are you questioning everything?
I think it's just understanding that like, which we know this, everything's connected. Yeah. Like things aren't, let's just not, let's not just assume something's for face value, especially when it comes to like our world, our government, you know, there's so much more behind things, which is also kind of like cool. I mean, I'm more like, I think as I have to always try, not always, but I try to touch the peptide world where everyone's like, how are you going to feel about end of July when, you know, RFK is going to make these decisions about peptides? We've already kind of got into like him taking things off of certain Category 2 lists and where they're moving them. And, you know, I get a lawyer, I got a, I wake up to a text from our lawyer who's like really big in Maha and he's like, yeah, Hey, rumor has it right now that like there's a huge war going on behind the scenes, which I'm not surprised, between like the FDA and Big Pharma and wanting to get RFK removed. Hmm. How do you feel about that? And I was like, how do I feel about it? I was like, you know what? I'm just like, this is— I'm gonna sit back. I'm in this mode. And it kind of is like the Candace Owens thing where you're like, there's so much stuff going on behind the scenes politically with the agendas, with Big Pharma, with all of that stuff where you're like, If for some reason they do remove RFK, yeah, I'm gonna let the whole world, or our whole, like, the United States of America go unhinged.
Yeah.
And I won't even have to.
Yeah, exactly.
So I'm just gonna, like, I'm get my popcorn. I'm like, we'll see what's gonna happen. So anyway, I think watching her piece is just like fascinating. Like, just, you know, don't always— not everything is what you think it is.
Yeah. I, I mean, if I, I'm so curious what will happen with the future of peptides just because like it is the percentage of people that are on them now. What we were just looking at, 10%, 10% of America is on a GLP.
Crazy.
That's not even like all peptides. So many people now are finding out about BPC, GHK. Like I think now especially with like the med spa world.
Yeah.
Getting into GHK, that's literally just going to spread like wildfire. And then what happens is women are really good researchers when we you find something that works and topically, it does not take— well, topically and injecting, like, it does not take long. Yeah. For everybody to find out.
I think when you see most women who are visual, right? So like, well, and men, but like, all of a sudden you're like, oh my God, Lori, what are you doing? Like, why are you glowing? What are you doing? Like, I get asked about my skin a ton.
Yeah.
And I'm just like— but then you're just kind of like, well, I just— I've always been a sharer. Yeah. You just like kind of share, well, this is kind of what's working for me. What I'm finding, which is interesting with my clients that are coming in.
Yeah.
There's so many that I'm coaching right now, more than ever, that got things from a doctor or a med spa or their OB. None of this is problematic except, yeah, they don't know how to use it. It didn't work for them. And so they're not, they're, they're needing just way more support. And so that's why I think that number of 10% is gonna go way higher when there's education platforms and there's coaches and more people are talking about it. Like you cannot, be on a peptide in isolation and not have some other support. Well, you can, but like, chances are it's not gonna work as well.
Oh no, it's gonna go way higher. But even that's shocking when you think about even middle America, cuz you think people don't necessarily know, but 10% of America is a lot.
Yeah.
That's so many people.
Yeah.
Okay. Talking about that, about how percentages will go up because people have definitely not had maybe the best results that they wanted. And so I think there are a lot of people who have put themselves into a category of Oh, this is one more thing that doesn't work for me.
Expensive. Do not work.
Yeah, totally.
What people really need to understand in general when it comes to peptides is that because it's not a one size fits all, you've really got to understand what else is kind of going on. Lifestyle perspective, history, ideally some blood work. But like, if you hammer your body with a GLP, when I say hammer, it's because you're going on a dose that like is super aggressive. And if like If you came to me and you're like, I've got an event in 6 weeks, I really want to lose this weight, I will have a really honest conversation of the pros and cons of this and what could happen. Is it really worth it? Where do we want to go with it all? Versus a lot of times we're like, here, just get on something.
Yeah.
Where your body is not just— can't handle it. And so I think when someone tells you you can't do something or you're in a box that it doesn't work, and you look around and all you want to do is like, why am I the outlier?
Yeah, totally.
Chances are you're not the outlier. I mean, there's a very, very, very small percentage where GLP doesn't work., but it's usually a lot of other things. Yeah. And so like, if that, that is you, my advice is like, get with a coach, get with somebody who knows a lot more than you do on it. And like oftentimes you're gonna have to just play with things. But like we got some, some friends that, you know, mutual friends that had a terrible time, like couldn't walk upstairs, debilitating. And this is a high functioning person who like has to be on stage, has to be out there.
Mm-hmm.
And we have this person on a moderate, low, slow dose and they really wanted to get off to the races cuz they had some goals and I'm like, Isn't it better that you feel good? And they're feeling amazing. They're so excited and they're happy and like, they're like, I can't believe it's working. I'm like, of course it's working. But we also want to— we all want a quick fix sometimes.
Yeah. I remember chatting with her and I was like, you need to talk to Stephanie because I know that this will work for you. You just— you can't— she literally just got the stuff, started taking it, and I was like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What are you— who did you talk to? What are you on? What are you doing? And it was like, I don't know, it's this piece of paper that's in here, you know?
Yeah, right. Well, you don't know what you don't know. There's another too, like, I've got a friend who came up to me recently and she's like, I have a friend who looks so good. Like, I was on a GLP, I lost 20 pounds, and then all of a sudden, like, the weight came back on. She never worked out or did anything. It's like, okay, let's also say, like, nothing comes for free. There's no free lunches, guys. We help with everything. Even me talking about my skincare routine in the morning, it's like, yeah, I'm doing microcurrent every single morning on repetition versus, like, if you do something every once in a while. Like, you've got to just put in the repetition, repetition on kind of everything. Everything.
Literally everything. And it's the mundane and it's the boring and it's the things that you just have to figure out how to work them into your schedule. And so I think that's why I love that we're talking about this on this podcast, because like, if I'm going to do it, yeah, and I'm going to be regular, you better— I want to know it's going to work. So that's why I'm like, for me to even think about doing microcurrent, Right. Like, I'm only gonna do it if you're like, no, I swear to you, this is gonna work.
I swear, man. Like, last— like, I get anxiety if I go on a trip and for some reason I'm like, where's my microcurrent? I mean, I am like, oh my gosh, I'm that— and I'm not like— I'm a disciplined person, but like, not that disciplined. And I— this is like, to me, my microcurrent on my face is like going to the gym.
Okay.
It's a kind of a non-negotiable.
Okay. That's amazing.
Just once a day.
Yeah. Okay, back to the coaching stuff, because here's how everybody's coming in right now, because I let you guys Stephanie and I doing this podcast together has gotten a lot of just like excitement and questions and people coming into the company, which is really exciting. A lot of people who have been on different peptides before but looking for a different result or wanting the results that we've been talking about on here and just feeling our best and feeling like we just have nowhere to go but up, which is so exciting.
Yeah, I know.
There's one thing—
and not to interrupt you, but I think it's important because I've been noticing this and sometimes like you, when when you're so close to something, like, you don't notice it. But yeah, you know, I think a lot of people feel like, oh, people can just jump on the peptide bandwagon. Like, Lori's just jumping on the peptide bandwagon. Everyone's on this bandwagon. Of course she's now doing peptides. You guys, that is like the furthest from the truth. By the way, Lori doesn't have to do any of this stuff. Yeah, I think it's more too, and I can't wait for Chris to tell his story, but like, when you are truly a girl's girl, like, we are sitting here, and you are truly somebody who like loves helping people, and it's gets giddy. Like, you can't help but want to like scream from the rafters when things start working, or when you're like, I've got a support system. Like, I feel like that's what I'm hoping people understand about our relationship and kind of how we decided to come on and do this. A lot of it's just because it's like we share our secrets, we share from the beginning. Like, we didn't even gatekeep much from each other, right? It's just like, hey, this is why I'm in this house. So it's— I feel like understanding the why behind it, like, is so important. And like, your why and Chris's why is Amazing and my why and all of it, but it's just like they are life-changing.
Yeah.
Like you wanna scream it cuz they are for everybody. It's like your family members get on them. Like you just want everyone to feel good and be healthy.
It's crazy because the amount of times that I've wanted to share them in the past, cuz you know, it's, it's now been almost 5 years, maybe it has been 5. I think that seeing you and seeing some other people start talking about it, I was like, oh my God, it is really selfish of me for the friends who have asked me, what are you doing? Please tell me. Oh my God, I'm struggling. And I have not told them because I felt like shame, bad about it, or shame or whatever. Um, that now I'm like, oh, I'm never going to not tell someone again. Like, I, I will tell total strangers, like, if they're like, oh my God, you're looking so fit, like, I'm like, you can too. It's like, well, don't you think obviously as a tool, but—
and don't you think also though, because after 5 years you're like doing it differently this time?
Totally.
You were doing it also where you're like, I know I've got to lift, And everything starts working when things weren't working. Mm-hmm. I, all I know is this, like, people call it the fuck-its when you're like, well, I've been going to the gym and I look exactly the same and nothing's working, so I might as well just like go say goodbye. Yep. Because you have a tool now, everything starts working if you're patient.
Yeah.
And then you're like, oh my gosh, I get this now. I've gotta tell everybody like, this is really the way how to, to do it. And like, I think GOP is also the stigma. There's still a lot there. I have tons of clients who tell, and I, by the way, if I run into you and you're a client, I don't even acknowledge that you're ever a client.
Yeah, exactly.
It's really kind of funny. Um, but I'm, I'm hoping through us too, it's like the stigma goes away. It's like it's a tool everyone should be on it.
I agree. And the thing about when you're starting, I think the, the place where if you haven't had success or you haven't tried this yet, the place that everybody's coming in from this podcast and from me chatting with them is to get on a call. And it's, you know, a lot of people can go in and you can just order, which is great if you're, if you know what you want, you're already on it, maybe you're just, or maybe you're not yet. But you feel really like you've got a lot of information. Great. But I do think the best— I wish I would have started with a longer call in the past because I think I would have gotten way more of my money's worth. I wouldn't have had these— this, like, you know, time on my own to figure out, is this normal? Is this not normal? Should I go up? Should I go down? What does this— is this feeling from this or is this from this?
And so, and trusting the product.
Totally.
Absolutely. I think that's a big piece too. I mean, even for myself, I was, I was using a peptide for a kidney issue that I was having, and it was— it's a peptide that I got from a different company because we don't carry this peptide. And I remember standing there before I injected it, and it was a second of nervousness because it wasn't mine. Like, yeah, ours are tested, like, beyond, beyond tested in terms of, like, what we're looking for. I trust them. I don't even think about it. But it made me put myself in someone's shoes for the first time who's trying a product. Like, if you don't really feel confident. It's a very different experience. Yeah, like I had a call, I feel confident. I've asked all the questions. I'm back on a reconstitution call. I'm also curious, you're gonna love this. Yeah, you see all these coaches that I've brought in and you read their bios, guys. There's like basically a kind of a specialist for almost everything. So yeah, in terms of finding your person, like reading them and going like, this person resonates with me, or like, I've listened to Stephanie, I trust her, she resonates with me. Or you're like, oh gosh, this girl's sensitive. I'm sensitive. I'm like, it's gonna be— there's a fit for everybody. And I just think, you guys, it's so important.
Yeah.
Like it is like the stickiest. And the conversations are really fun. Mm-hmm. Like they're, they're really fun because like, even when it's not that deep, like we're talking about your lifestyle, we're like asking a lot of questions. We're, we're answering all your questions. Yep. And then we're setting you up for success. Like the, the— we're not therapists in the sense I don't want to talk to you every week.
Totally.
Like then I'm not doing my job.
Yeah.
Let me get you going, supported, get in our community, and then you're off to the races.
Yeah.
Easy. It's really easy. Yeah.
So what we're gonna do is you can just, we have that link below you guys that you can just go check out to book a call and go check out the site for any questions. You know, I have all my info on there. I have all the things that I do. I have the stacks that I use. So you can go and read that. You can read a little bit about my experience as well.
Yeah.
And there are people who can book a coaching call with you too now. Steph is super busy, but if you're like, I just really need to book with Stephanie, there's possibilities of that too.
Yeah, and just you guys, with my schedule too, it's like I end up opening things up. So like, like right now I think I'm booked out for like over a month out, but like I just opened up one today because I had 2 hours. So don't ever give up, or like just email support@loop and like just say I'm waiting for Steph. Like once you start communicating with us, like we will open things up. Like I'm— the idea is like I want to help as many people as I can.
Yeah.
Um, within reason, but like also, like I said, like listen to podcasts, like read, get involved in a community, and then just like get on a call. I think it's just easy. Like I just think the barrier to entry when it's like, I don't wanna take a call, like, I don't know, I don't get it.
The call's gonna set you up for success. Like it's literally gonna make you be the most successful version on this. You're gonna get your money's worth. And you guys, especially when you make that first order, cuz there's a nice discount on your first order, you're gonna wanna make sure that you're getting all of the things that you actually want to hit your exact goals that you have. Yes. And we have it.
Doctor on staff who specializes in hormones. And with our telehealth guys, you can order hormones.
Yeah.
And so that's really nice too. So it's like, keeps it all in the family. So like, you are like, if you— because a lot of people are nervous about hormones, they don't know where to go, or they're going with somebody that's like, it's— this not working. Like oftentimes I— for me personally, I like to like live under a certain roof where I can just like— I'm not— I mean, I'm not just piecemealing everything out. Everything kind of sort of makes sense and builds on each other. Totally.
Well, this was so much fun, and we have so much more that we're obsessed with you guys that we're going to continue to share with you. Um, but you got to tune into the next episode, but all the info is below. And Steph and I just now get to, uh, record the conversations we want to have anyway.
I know, and I can't wait to see what jewelry you have next time, or bedazzle what I'm wearing next time.
Okay, I know. All right, you guys, we will talk to you next week. Bye-bye!
