I wanted to jump on YouTube live today and answer a question I frequently get, which is, Mark, are there too many notary public loan signing agents out there already? Is the signing agent market saturated? The answer is not even close. There is no such thing as too many signing agents. That would be like trying to tell somebody that they shouldn't be a hairdresser because there's too many hairdressers. We all know that the best hairdressers will make money and the best signing agents will. Will make money. So many people ask me, mark, is my town saturated with signing agents? And the answer is no. It's like trying to tell someone, you should be a real estate agent because there's too many real estate agents. The best real estate agents are going to make money. The best signing agents are going to make money. So if you're going to get into the signing agent industry and not try to be the best, well, I'll tell you, you'll probably won't be business for you. Not because there's too many signing agents, but because you're not striving to be the best signing agent you can be. The only thing you need to worry about, am I being as educated as I possibly can be? Am I only worried about one certification or am I trying to take as many certifications as I can? Are there too many notary public loan signing agents? No. If you plan on being the best notary public loan signing agent you will get business, period. That's like trying to tell someone they shouldn't be a physical trainer because you there's too many physical trainers. No, the physical trainer that has the most certifications who's the best physical trainer is going to be the busiest physical trainer is going to be the most successful physical trainer is going to be the physical trainer who makes the most money. And being a loan signing agent is not any different. As a notary public loan signing agent, your only job is to be the best notary public loan signing agent you can be. No matter where you live, you live in Los Angeles, you live in a huge metropolitan area, or you live in a very rural area. There's no such thing as too many notary public loan signing agents. There's no such thing as being too saturated. You just have to learn how to be the best at your trade. You have to learn how to be the best notary public loan signing agent you can possibly be. And how do you do that? You do that by taking as many courses as you can. You do that by learning from successful people. You do that by copying people who are where you want to be. There is no sissing as too many notary public loan signing agents. I get it so often, it's like, no, I'm telling you right now, the only thing you need to worry about is are you willing to do what it takes to be the best at your craft? If you're willing to be the best at what you do, there's the competition isn't relative. All you got to worry about is am I being the best that I can be at my job? So the question if there are too many notary public loan signing agents, that just doesn't exist in any business. That doesn't exist in anything. And that especially applies to signing agents. We are in a business where our work speaks volumes. If you don't miss any signatures, you don't miss any dates, you actually know how to walk a borrower through a closing statement, a note, if you know how to market yourself. Those are all the things that attribute to a busy notary public loan signing agent, not relative to others. Other notary public loan signing agents around you, the best people at their craft will always be busy. If you plan on being a notary public loan signing agent, you don't plan on taking as many courses as you can. If you plan on being a notary public loan signing agent and you don't plan on being as educated as you possibly can plan. My biggest thing I feel for notary public loan signing agents is Mark, I already have one certification. I don't need any other certifications. That is what's holding you back. What's holding you back isn't that there's other notary public loan signing agents in your area. What's holding you back is that you've only chosen to stop your education. You've chosen not to learn anymore. You've chosen not to listen to anybody else but yourself and that one angle of training that you've taken. So instead of saying, mark, are there too many notary public loan signing agents? What you should say is, Mark, can you help me become a better notary public loan signing agent? What other training can I get? What can I do to be the best at my craft? So if you are out there looking to be a better notary public loan signing agent, be as educated as you possibly can, be the best notary public loan signing agent that you can possibly be, and you will be a busy notary public loan signing agent, Period.
