I truly believe being a notary public is the best kept secret in America for income opportunities. Why? Because I don't think most people realize the opportunity size of being a notary. There's 1.2 billion notarizations that occur in America today. That is billion with a B and that occurs every single year. So if you're looking at a business, what you always look at is market size, opportunity, how much opportunity is there for business. And what most people don't understand is notaries are needed. And any type of market, recessions, good markets, bad markets, because the need for notarizations occur every single day. Proof by the numbers. And what a lot of people don't understand either as a notary is, you know, well, Mark, as a notary, you can only charge $2.50, $10, $15 stamp, whatever it is in your state. But the secret about being a notary and the income opportunity is in the travel fees. And that's what people don't understand is you can negotiate. I'll travel to your location for $50, $60, $100, whatever it is, while I get there. I can only charge you $10 per signature notarized, but I'll charge you $10 on top of a travel fee. And a lot of people don't realize that on the outside they're like, oh, well, notaries only make $2.50 a stamp, again, whatever it is in your state. But what they're not understanding is you can charge a travel fee to get there. What they're not understanding is you can charge a skill service like a loan signing agent. Right? A loan signing agent charges for the skill skill of walking them through 150 pages not per signature notarized. Or wedding officials will only charge $15 for the actual signature on the wedding license, but then they'll charge $100 for performing the actual wedding. And that's what people understand. There's a skill set around notarizations that people get paid very handsomely for, by the way, apostille agent. Again, as an apostille agent, you're actually maybe notarizing the form that they need signed and sent off to the Secretary of State. But then you're charging for the convenience of mailing the forms together. That's a different fee. So yes, you may only be able to change $2.50 for a signature notarized, but you can also charge for things around that notarization. And that's what people don't understand. And it's truly the best kept secret in America for income because of that. Because, remember, there's 1.2 billion notarizations. Every single one of those are opportunities to not only charge for the signature notarized, but for the service that's provided around that notarization. So once you get your notary commission, then you got to figure out, oh, how do I learn all these skills? And there's so many different skills, like I said, that you can learn. And that's why being a notary is the best kept secret in America for income opportunities.
