You're first starting out, you know, marketing yourself, and you're new and you see everybody on the loan signing different companies. You see everybody, oh, I've been 20 or 30 years, five years. How do you basically stand out? Or how do you, you know, you're just starting out. You don't want to just mention that I'm just starting out. You know, it's kind of like, who's gonna hire you over the person that's been doing it 20 years?
Yeah, great question. The answer to you is twofold. Just be aware of. That's your imposter syndrome. It's your voice, the negative voice, saying why you're not going to succeed. You're going to have that. That voice pop up a few times on this journey. And it's your job to be intentional. Like, okay, that's just my imposter syndrome. I can do this. And so you are the differentiator. You are the magic to your own business, and you're really leaning into that. The second part is when you talk to someone, you don't necessarily need to tell them you're new, but you can tell them, like, I care. And I really care about making this correct. People just want to work with people who care. If you really discuss, like, look, I really want to be perfect for you. You got to lean into like this humanizing the business. We have this idea that we just have a magic script. When the magic is you, the magic is having a real conversation. Because my guess is you do care. My guess is that you don't want to cause a funding condition. My guess is you don't want build or lose a client. So communicate that more than I know where all the dates and signatures go. I understand, like, I represent you. And if losing client is like the worst thing I want pour into that part of the honesty. I would rather use someone who's new, who really shows me how passionate they are by the bill was brand new at one point. Doug was brand new at one point. Joe was brand new. You know what I mean? Nick was brand new. So you're not alone. My point is everyone in the community started where you are. Don't let that imposter syndrome hold you back from greatness.
