Welcome to the newest series from the loan signing system, the day in the life of marketing with a loan signing agent. As you can see, I'm coming straight from New York City and Times Square. I am so excited. We're gonna have a signing agent that makes over $10,000 a month in signing agent revenue. Yes. In the middle of this normalized market. So I'm gonna follow him around all day with his marketing throughout New York City. So all of you attorney state students, be excited. I'm in the wonderful attorney state of New York. We're gonna cover what he does in a Day in the Life, but we're gonna cover scripts, we're going to cover how it becomes over objections. We're going to go through the real raw emotions of getting a new client or maybe sometimes not even getting a new client. I know that you want to know what it looks like with marketing every single day as a loan signing agent. So I'm going to do my best in this series from all over the country. Follow signing agents, successful ones, and figure out what they do on a day to day basis to get the loan signings directly from title companies, real estate attorneys, escrow officers, real estate agents. Whether you're an escrow state or an attorney state, the objections are the same, the scripts are the same. But we're gonna follow the day in the life of notary public loan signing agent Steve from New York City. Let's go. Signing agent Steve out of New York City state. What's up, man?
Hi, everybody. How are you?
You excited about what we're about to do today?
Yes, I am. Full and energetic for that.
I love it. You're in the very first episode of the series. We're in Times Square. He has an office in Times Square. That's how much he is crushing it. Check that out. Let's go, let's go. That's what success looks like, everybody. Success as a notary public loan signing agent. You can still do 5,000, 10,000, $15,000 a month, whatever your goals are as attainable. He's got to work hard. We're going to go see five people he's never marketed to before. And that's what signing agents do. The market normalizes. You got to go wider the way you pick up the same revenue just by getting more clients. That's it. So we're going to get more clients. Want to introduce the man, Adam, real quick. Adam works for New York Signings. So let's go enjoy this day and see what goes down. Come on. I'm going to follow your lead. Walk a notary who's watching this through what you're going to.
You're about to say, I'm opening the door. I see the lady or a man sitting on the front. And I will say, hi, my name is Stefan and I am a notary public. I do the loan closing and I would love to help you. I would love to be your preferred notary public to close all your clothing.
Like it's literally that simple.
That simple.
There's no fancy pants.
And if you don't have anybody available, I know that you have too many maybe notaries in your. In your list, but I will be there for you anytime you need me. And I'm just two blocks away from you.
Got it. So you're doing such a simple opening and grasp of letting them lead where the conversation goes.
Exactly.
I love that. Okay, cool.
I think we're actually here, right?
Yeah.
Oh my God. This looks out of K. So the cameras are not going to go in with Staphon. I see you have something here.
And we'll give the title officer to write some good information in the amazing notebook. We have a hand sanitizer as well. Simple, small, one pen just in case. I have one of my number. More of my number branded pen from the Staples.
Perfect. That's what I want to tell people.
We have a corporate sale. Right. Thanks to you.
You're welcome.
And we have an amazing candle parfik.
How much do you think the total thing cost? $4.50. You don't need to spend a ton of money. It's not what it is. It's the gesture.
Exactly. Appreciation.
Right.
Stop number one. Let's see what happens. So a little bit of update right now. We're not even sure the title company is still in this building. Why I want to put this in the video is sometimes this is going to happen. You're going to go on Google title company near me, escrow office near me. You're going to go to the office like Google was wrong. This is all part of what marketing looks like. And just because Stephan makes six figures doesn't mean that he doesn't do the things that all of us do. And that's showing up to some place, goodies in hand and having nobody be there. This is what signing agent marketing looks like. Some days you can go to everybody on your prospective list and they're all going to be there. Some days you're going to have someone on your perspective list. You're going to show up and be like, oh, sir, they're out of business. They said that they haven't been here for like seven years.
Okay, so we're walking out of the building.
No contact with an escrow company. Tell them why.
Because they changed the address and that happen every day.
This is real signing agent marketing.
Like you're going to find someone on Google.
The address is going to be wrong. I cannot tell you how many times I've been to title companies that have not been in that title office for six years. So this is all part of what signing agents do. I think a lot of times people.
Think like, oh, signing agent marketing, that's fine list. And you're going to hit everybody that's on that list.
That doesn't always happen.
So we're headed to another location to go prospective client market. This time we're taking the subway. I'm excited. Let's go.
Let's go.
Marketing in New York, man. In California we'd be in cars. New York, you're sweating in subways. I'm enjoying this, man. Marketing New York City. Who would have thought? So we're gonna turn a little bit and go to real estate attorneys that we literally googled. Gonna have him and Adam go up. They're gonna do their thing. He has the gifts. Nothing really changes. So gents, go do it. And I can't wait to see what the feedback's gonna be.
All right, let's go. Yes. We got it.
All right. So before I even ask you how it went, how's it feel?
It feels awesome.
It's a great feeling when you can actually make contact with somebody, make a connection and you never give up. It's the next one. Every no gets you closer to a yes.
So the introduction happens. Take me from there.
When we gave her the package, she went for one of the partners.
One of the partners to give it to them.
I said, let me see if you guys can talk with someone. So she went for a partner and she came with a smile. I got you someone. The partner will come shortly. Here, just finished with somebody.
Partner comes out, you drop him.
That he was the first one who just actually asked. Can you give me your number? The contact number? So we gave him our contact number and we got exchanged the business card. Exactly.
And he referred us over as well to banking partners. So it opens up another line of business as well.
If an attorney is always marketed to, they would probably be a little annoyed by.
Not only are they not marketed to, a lot of people don't do door knocking anymore. It's an old school style of pitching and understand how people will be afraid of it. But you don't have to be. Just once you get the first one out the way, they're all the same after that.
Get that. No. And pocket that.
No, keep pocketing that.
No. Because that.
Yes.
Is coming. You made contact today?
Yes.
You're gonna do a phone call, follow up tomorrow?
Yeah.
Then a email follow up. Probably Thursday or Friday.
That's correct.
And then maybe next week, early next week. Go back in.
Exactly.
Get your face show. And that is Marketing 101 right there. All right, stop number three. Let's get that. I was gonna say get a smile on your face, but it's already there. Has it left? Okay. So awesome they made it past the first gatekeeper. It still blows my mind. In New York, you gotta get through two gatekeepers. They got through number one. They can go upstairs, pitch the signing business. This is exciting news. Let's find out. Take us through it, man. One more down.
Well, they move out. They are not here anymore. But that's how the life of the signing agent is.
I love it. I love it. That's the truth. They went to the third spot. They weren't there. That's what successful people do. They smile. We keep moving on. So stop number four. Let's get the show on the road, baby.
Yes. Let's go.
What's interesting about New York is they.
Gotta get through two gatekeepers. They got to get through the front.
Desk down below and then upstairs. So I love this new series because.
You'Re going to see all the adventures.
That people have to go through to get business. So let's see what happens.
Come on. That last one wasn't a complete miss, quote unquote. Someone was there. Like I was saying, New York is interesting because you got to get past two gatekeepers, which is crazy. I mean, you guys have a whole new level marketing out here. And again, marketing is not always. We're gonna bat a thousand. He makes a lot of money, but it's because of the effort that you're seeing put in. People don't see this exactly because until you got the cameras rolling. But this is what he's did every day while you're building your business.
Exactly.
We have students who make a hundred.
Bucks and think they're failing.
Why didn't you think you were failing when you made 100 bucks your first month?
I made more because it's not about the money. I make the knowledge here. I knew that from hundred bucks. I can have a six figure.
It wasn't that I Made a hundred dollars. It was that I was learning something. People put a dollar value on it versus what they got from that month. You took it as a learning opportunity. Not like a.
And make a connection with the people that doesn't have value. You're here. Here. The money can replace that.
We have one last stop. Let's go see you do magic. And we can't. We're learning through this is we really can't go into the buildings anymore. But we'll see you in a couple minutes. Doc shot it up.
Well, always a good experience to find out how it goes because unfortunately at 5pm in New York, real estate attorneys are done.
So in summary, I think one for five is excellent. Unbelievable. Excellent. If you can get one connection every.
Five times, every single day if you want to.
That's my point. And now you beat me to it. It's like if you can get one for five, five, five days a week, that's five new people. Five new people four times a month, that's 20 people. You get 20 people. I'm telling you, you're a six figure notary public loan signing agent. The funny part is coming into today I thought New York was going to be easier because of the proximity of everybody being so close to each other. Literally 9 million people on an island. But what I learned is it's actually harder because you have a second gatekeeper. So no matter where you are, it's someone else's. Have it easier than you. The notary public loan signing agents who make the most money just tell the.
Most people they're a notary public loan signing agent.
We walked all afternoon. He didn't make a thousand dollars until.
After his third month in the business.
Are you willing to take 90 days to build a business? Stephan did. And now he has a full blown signing service nationwide. I mean Adam's busting down doors. You're walking left and right. You have packages like you guys embody the New York spirit. I mean I've been here for three weeks. It's hustle, man. So I hope everybody else is inspired. You can be like this if you just put in the work and put in the effort. So that is a wrap. New York City Episode 1 laying a day in the life of marketing with notary public loan signing agent. We'll see you episode number two in New Jersey. Till then, I believe in you, but I just can't believe in you more than you believe in yourself. Let's go.
Sam.
