Mark Wills explains how to land notary signing jobs from realtors by using purchase contract addendums to name yourself as the notary, then building relationships with title officers through warm introductions. Referrals and title company connections are where the real business comes from.
In your trainings, you were saying that we can go direct to realtors and have them mark us as workers into the purchase and sale agreement. Where is that? Is it a special spot for that? I know where escrow is. Yes. Where do we. Where do we go on to the purchasing sale.
So it actually would be an addendum to the purchase contract. So, you know, sometimes realtors will type will write in the couch as part of the sale, you know, or they'll write in like a 30 day rent back. So in the addendum they would be like, I want to use Lawrence Taylor Jr. As my notary. But remember what I just told Andrea is the real money with realtors is the leverage to the title company. That's the juice, right? So once you create that relationship, lt, you're like, hey, can you put me on an email with your favorite title officer so I can introduce myself? And now you get a warm lead. It's not a cold awkward, like, I'm Lawrence, right? It's like, oh, no, I'm friends with Johnny. He just referred me. Anyways, now you have a warm conversation and do your magic. So don't forget, the real juice is in the referral. Not necessarily in that closing, but I'm not against you working your way into that closing.
Makes sense. Gotcha. Got you. And just a little caveat.
Look at our boy at a title company doing a mentorship. You have no idea how good that makes me feel, brother. Good work. Keep building. Let's go.
