You're now a 9 to 5 guy. Walk everybody through the two years where you were a W2 working for this person, and kind of walk us up to when you're like, I just can't take it anymore, dude. I gotta go back.
When I first started the job, you know, at first it was cool, but then it was like, things that were promised me were not true, and then I had a limit on the amount of money I could earn, and I couldn't keep on building my business. So little by little, that started, like, take picking on my, taking at me, my soul, my purpose, and I just couldn't take it no more because I had to be somewhere and answer to somebody. And literally, there's not much I could do about it. I couldn't follow my dreams. It was kind of like the guy was, you know, kind of kicking me down. So I just had enough. I'm like, you know what? I'd rather go back and risk a consistent paycheck and have my freedom and happiness. So I think I'd rather do that and just keep on building on that from everything I've learned in the past. So I'm glad I actually left that job and I don't regret it ever since.
First off, thank you for that vulnerability. And I think a lot of people can relate to that, man. And. And that is taking my soul. Like, that's such a powerful statement, but relatable, right? Like, you know, you're promised something. You don't get it.
You.
Like you said, you can't chase your dreams. You're. You lot, you traded freedom for a paycheck, and sometimes freedom for a paycheck isn't worth it at all.
Yeah.
And what I love about Yehugo, and I think is inspiring, is you went back and bet on yourself. You know, take leaving the job wasn't a gamble because you knew that you were worth the gamble. I think everyone needs to be inspired by that because I think we're all capable of doing what Hugo did. Right. That's believing in myself and saying, I'm gonna leave the chains of a W2 and I'm gonna figure it out. And gosh darn it, you figured it out.
