My name is Mark. Every single Monday on Instagram, I go live with notary public loan signing agents and notaries help them grow their signing agent business. So I am back to answer about another 30 minutes of coaching one on one. So I am here. Thank you everybody for rejoining me. I am so, so sorry. Let's try to get that, that student back on. There we go. So tell them your name, where you're from, and then walk me through what you just did so we can, we can help people who re watching this.
Yes.
Okay.
So my name is Christina Lara and I'm from Beaumont, California, Southern California. So I was referred to an escrow office by a friend and I had done their personal loan signing for them. And for several months I'd been marketing to this escrow company and nothing, nothing, nothing. So finally I asked them, hey, you know what? What would you guys like your notaries to do better? And then they had mentioned getting a platform. So I found out what platforms they use and I signed up. So I actually got my very first signing through their platform, the people that they use on Friday. And I was wondering regarding the fee, I personally think it's too low, but I don't want to raise my fees yet since my first signing. So I was wondering, should I do like three more signings? Like, what should I do about that?
Okay. I love it. I love it. And again, I think you said you're a loan signing system student last time. And thank you, by the way. I'm so happy. You're welcome. And so you know what I try to teach, and I will always teach, is you chase the value first, never chase the money. What you want is become so valuable they have no choice but to pay you more. And like I was speaking to you earlier, you have to remember, especially you just got, you just got your first closing through them. You're probably the fifth or sixth notary on their Rolodex. So you have to kind of work your way up into the number one or two position before you start asking for more money. What happens with new notary public loan signing agents? Right when they start coming in, they're more focused about the money. And so the moment you say, oh, I wish I had more money from you, they would then like, okay, I'll see you later, because you can replace you with three other notaries tomorrow if we want it. So what you have to do is become so valuable to them where they want to pay you more. Does that make sense? And the way you do that, and it sounds a little Cliche. I get it. So let me talk through it, right? When they realize that you don't make any mistakes, when they realize you're super friendly, when they give some good feedback, like, oh, she was so great. Oh, she showed up on time. Oh, she stayed with me for an extra two hours and didn't complain. When they realize that you're actually a notary that they would love to have on their team, and you start turning them down because there's more money other. Other avenues, and they're like, well, why are you turning down my appointments? You're like, well, this escrow company across town is paying me $200 an appointment. I'm running a business, and it just seems for me to be better off to take that. But I'd still love the opportunity to work with you. Oh, okay. So if I pay you once in five, will you take my opponents? Yes, I will. So the conversation becomes more organic once you get in that second or first position. But your job is to earn your way into that number two or one slot by doing what other notaries won't do, by getting back the positive feedback, like, oh, my gosh, she spent two hours with me, didn't complain. She walked me through every single piece of paper. She went above and beyond. And once you start getting that feedback, like every business in America, by the way, we're not unique, then the relationship starts building. Then it's appropriate to ask for more money. Okay? But you got to get into this business. And every business in America is the same way, bringing value to your consumer. You're one in. And honestly, if you were 10, and I would still tell you, you haven't really proven anything yet. Right? You got to get a really good relationship through that moment of 10, 15, 20, and then the money follows. Does that make sense? And look, by the way, girl, I'm empathetic that you want more money. I'm empathetic that in the beginning, you put out a ton of money. I'm empathetic. But this is a marathon. So my point of me saying that is, you know, a lot of people get discouraged. Well, Mark, I need money now. Mark, I just spent $500 on a printer. That is the business owner that tells me you're thinking short term, not long term. You're thinking this as more of a sprint than a. Than a marathon. And the notary public loan signing agents who really see that I want to be a month and six months, a year, two years down the road, understand that this is just all part of the process Part of it's like, I have to convince you that I am trustworthy. I need to show you that I'll go from Beaumont to Riverside if you need me to. You know, like, I'll do whatever I can to show you that I should be in the three, two, or one position. And if you can just focus on the long term strategic vision, then the money follows. Does that make sense?
Yes, it does. Yeah.
Perfect.
Thank you.
You're welcome. So I'm going to end with this. You know, the signing agents who see short term are the ones who fizz loud and 60, 90 days. The ones who see this as a marathon are the ones in six to 12 months are like, oh, my gosh, I'm glad I stuck it out. When the students who see this as a sprint get more easily discouraged. So sometimes it's more of a mindset shift in the beginning of your process. Like, look, I know I want more, but I gotta get patient to get more. Because. Because, like I teach your students, impatience has killed more businesses in America. Not just signing agents. Inpatient has killed more business in America than bad reviews, inconsistency, bad service. It's the impatience to let your business grow. It's the impatience of letting your reputation build that will kill a business quicker. You know, sometimes people open up a restaurant, I'm like, dude, you need six months before people realize you got the best tacos in town. But you can't be like, oh, my gosh, everyone in my family loves my tacos, and. And think the rest of the rest of the city should love your tacos. You gotta let. You gotta let time build your reputation. Does that make sense? So keep doing what you're doing. Believe in yourself. I believe in you. And remember, you're amazing. So go get them. Yes. Let's go. Oh, let's go.
Thank you.
All right, have a good rest of your day. Bye.
You too.
I think the biggest conversation or biggest nugget from that conversation is a lot of times, any. You're a business owner first. I don't ever call you a notary public loan signing agent. You own a business and your business happens to be signings. But a lot of times, people think that your reputation should be built in a month. Does that make sense? You have to let time for your reputation to build. Reputation builds credibility, credibility builds trust, and trust builds businesses. But you got to see this as a marathon and not a sprint. You, the signing agents who see this as a sprint are the signing agents. Route in 60 days and then blame the market. Blame Saturation. No. You are too impatient to let your reputation take place. You are too impatient to let your reputation build. You're too impatient to let, I don't know, a business to form. So remember, reputation takes time. Reputation is built on, on hard work. It's built on not making errors. It's built on going across town even though you should be charging more money, but you're not. Reputations are built on sitting with a notary public loan signing agent, I mean with a borrower, excuse me for 90 minutes and not complaining. Reputations are built through experience. So be patient to build your reputation. And I promise you, once your business is built on reputation, then the money comes. Look, I've been teaching notary public loan signing agents for five years. Some of you guys see me like, oh my gosh, Mark has a lot of these students. Well, dude, it took me five years to get here. I was patient. I didn't have many students year number one. I had a handful of students here number two. But it took me two years to build a reputation that what I do actually works. What I do actually helps people make money. I let my reputation build through the early signing agent students that I had. And now I sold out a conference in four hours. But it took me five years to be able to sell out a conference in four hours. Some of you guys want to make six figures in month number three. And I'm like, dude, you have done 20 closings. So be patient, let your reputation build, believe in you and let's go. Happy President's day to everybody. I'll be having a blessed day. Hope you're having taken a little bit of reset, a little bit of you time. I want to jump on a my holiday. I see my wife is on here. I was like, look love, I got to be on here for an hour, help some, some of the students, you know, with their business even on your day off. But you know, remember you time self reflecting time is as important to working. So hope you have the joy off the rest of the day with your family. Business will be there tomorrow, but enjoy your day today. Okay, so let's go to somebody else. So glad everybody here is here. Let's go to Yvette, Key, Angelina and Jasper. Let's try to get those four in before the end of the time on. Let's go with Keith first. How's everybody doing? Hope you're doing great. For some of you watching this guy, like wow, who's this guy who's screaming and yelling? Let's go. Hey girl. I miss that smile. Yes.
I'm always on here.
Okay, so tell everybody your name, where you're from, and let's get to some coaching.
Okay? Sacramento, California. I took my first signing.
Okay, hold on, hold on. Everybody, let's drop our congratulations clapping emoji.
Well, my first direct signing. I'm already with a signing, sir.
Okay, hold on, hold on. Let's give her even more explanation. First direct signing. Let's go. Yes.
So I took my first direct signing with DOMA North America. So I believe they bought North American out North American title. So it was good. Everything I went in there and market. Market my business. And it gave me the file right then and there. And basically I was like, oh, my God, I'm so nervous. She was like, everybody messes up on the 593. And I'm like, I'm not gonna mess up.
I'm not.
So. So I go there to the signing and I get lost. So I'm three minutes late. And he's like a stickler about time, and he grabs the papers. He made a post on TikTok. It was so funny because he's like, I do this all the time. Give me the paper. So I gave him the paper. And I was like, okay. And I was like, well, let me walk you through this. But I felt like he kind of took initiative, but I still did good and had a great personality. But he put his name where the escrow officer, and I didn't look because I was so nervous.
Yeah.
And I was three minutes late. So I'm kind of disappointed in myself because I haven't gotten that assignment. So I'm like, I hope I didn't mess up.
And so first off, you know, I'm so proud of you. Like, I mean, so many people want more, but they don't do more to get more. And so you need to be your biggest champion. I'm so proud of you. Went into direct business. I know you had to work through your nerves. I know you had to work through your fear. And you got a signing on the other side of that's. Everybody is inspired by you because that is huge. Number two is, you know, look, experience is our best teacher. You know, I preach that. And so, look, at the end of the day, you got to be kind on yourself. Mistakes happen, Right. It is just accountability, you know, I mean, Ideally, hopefully you're 30 minutes late, but you called someone and said, hey, I'm running a little bit behind. I apologize. Moment. You're lost. All people want is accountability. And so my point is, is we don't need to overthink when we make a mistake. As long as you are accountable, as long as you, you know, apologize and be like, look, my bad, nine out of ten times. I'll be honest with you, it's not ten out of ten times. Nine out of ten times. Most people don't worry about most clients, most escrow officers, they just want accountability. So my guess is you did that. Now if you ever got a phone call back because of that moment, you need to get out of your head and back in there and just be like, look. And almost pretend like it didn't happen, but also recognize that it did. Does that make sense? So what you need to do is just go back into like, oh my God, I'm bringing some form of gratitude. Thank you so much. I don't believe I was so nervous and got that. You know, be a little self deprecating. I think a lot of times, you know, it's an elephant in the room that we pretend if we don't speak about it and people are going to forget about it. Right, right. And it's like something like, like in a relationship. Right. Sometimes just speaking about it puts everybody at ease. Right. And so my point is don't overthink. Okay? And look, I'm going to be honest with you. Let's say you don't get another closing from that source of business. You need to understand that if you can get business by walking into doma, you can get business anywhere. See, the bigger picture is my point. Does that make sense? You got to see the bigger picture. The bigger pictures, you walked in a title company, you got business, girl, you can do that 15 more times and four title companies are going to use you. So see the biggest, bigger picture. Does that make sense? And I think you're losing the bigger picture. You know, you went into a title company and you got a closing.
Yeah, and they love my personality.
That's my point. So see the bigger picture on what you accomplish. Does that make sense? So look, I mean, I don't want to get weird on you, but I think sometimes things happen for a reason. Right? Maybe that client wasn't the client you're supposed to work with. Right? That you. And look, you're not supposed to work with everybody. Right? But maybe what that moment was to show you was that you're capable of getting direct business instead, instead of wallowing in the fact that they're not calling you back, you should be freaking juiced that you're like, yo, I actually got direct business by walking in somewhere and getting. See what I'm saying? So it's a frame of mind I need to redirect you to. So look, I'm not. I'm going to empathize. If they don't call you back, that stinks. I'm there. I'm with you. But that's okay, because I think something bigger was learned in that moment, that you can actually build this business. And I hope that's not lost on you. You feeling me when I say that?
Yes, I do.
Okay, so like, girl, look, maybe you're. Oh for one. I have lost clients because of mistakes. Probably more than I care to admit, by the way. But it doesn't stop me from building. It doesn't stop me from. Keep going. Right, Because I see the bigger picture. The bigger picture is like if I can market this title company, I know I can market to that title company. And that's what I want you to see, is that maybe you weren't supposed to work with them. Maybe you were. I'm not saying that's a lost cause. I'm still telling you to go back in there and follow up and remarket. But at the same moment, if they don't call you back, then girl, that's that you weren't supposed to work for them. You know what I mean? But. But. But the universe or something higher showed you that you're capable of getting direct business. And that's what I don't want you missing.
Okay.
You with me on that? You feel me on this?
Yep, I do.
So, look, I'm going to end with this. Business is about rinse and repeat. You walked in one title company, you need to start walking in five more. And look, before you get discouraged, not all five are going to use you. You're an LSS student, which means you're a business owner first, notary public, loan signing agent second. You know, it's impossible to bat a thousand percent, so your job is to rinse and Repeat, go to 10 title companies. Girl, you're in Sacramento. You should be going to Placer County, El Dorado County, Yolo County. Yeah, right. And so you should be going all around. You. You got my guesses. There's hundreds of title companies in those four counties.
It is.
So my point is, girl, rinse and repeat, okay? You're not gonna bet a thousand, but something has shown you that you're capable of getting direct business. You need to see that moment, get excited from that and go to the freaking moon with his business. Girl.
Yes, that's my plan. I Put my two week notice in. I don't have a job anymore, so this is my full time.
Well, my point is you should be hitting two type of companies a day. Stop losing sleep over experience. You're going to mess up again. I hate to tell that to you. You're gone new. But you have to learn from those mistakes. Learn from those errors. Pick up your pants, be like, all right, I got this. I'm gonna do it again, you know what I mean? And keep going because like I said, girl, I've lost so many freaking clients. Like it happens, you know what I mean? Like I. Not everybody wants to take the loan signing system. It happens. People return my course, it happens. It doesn't mean that my course is bad. Like you think it's good, right? So it just is what it is, you know what I mean? Just keep doing what doing. Believe in yourself and don't have an unwavering self belief.
Okay, I'm gonna hit some title companies.
All right, let's go get them. All right, have a good one. Bye. Like, what I want to say with key is we can't let our mistakes define us. Number one, you're gonna make them. It's human of us to make mistakes. You know, I call it within the LSS family, just setting up a realistic expectation. Like you got to have realistic patience. And part of realist expectations is knowing that we're going to make mistakes time to time. What I tell my students, it's not mistake number one you need to worry about. It's making the same mistake twice that you do. If you're making the same mistake twice, then that's your fault, period. But if you make one mistake like it happens as part of the learning curve, does that make sense? So be easy on yourself. You make it and make a mistake and then remember sometimes the bigger picture that the universe shows us, like he got direct business. Instead of focusing on the mistakes she made on that, she's focusing on the mistakes she made with that signing instead of focusing on the fact that she got direct business. Like that is huge. So some of you guys out there, you're like, oh well Mark, you know, like why I went to, I went to an open house and I didn't get a, I didn't get, get a signing from the open house. But you're forgetting the fact that you went into an open house scared. You went to an open house when you pushed past your nerves. So the bigger moment is, is, is what you accomplish. That shouldn't override the smaller mistakes. Does that make sense. All right, cool. I'm so happy that you guys are here. So like I said, I'm going order. I'm gonna go Yvette and then Angelina and then Jasper. So, Yvette, you're up. Let's go. So glad you guys are here. My name is Mark Wills. For some of you guys, like, who is this guy clapping and screaming? Let's go. I teach the loan signing system. I am blessed to be a mentor to thousands of notary public loan signing agents. Yo, Yvette. Yvette.
Hello.
What's up, girl? How are you? Good. You? I'm so good. Thank you for being here today. So tell everybody where you're from, and let's get into some coaching. Okay.
I'm from Laredo, Texas. It's a small border town right next to Noel Laredo. Yeah, there's not too many notary public loan signing agents here. Of what I've gathered, talked to a couple of friends are realtors, and they didn't know anything about notary public loan signing agent.
Yeah, they're.
No, no, no. You don't do that here.
Yeah.
You go to the company. So I. I threw in.
Let me pause you. I heard a coaching moment. Okay, so here's the coaching moment, right? In our business, sometimes, like, I teach in the course, by the way, and there's a script for how to get realtor business. So make sure you watch that video again and read the script and print it out. But the bigger coaching is here, Yvette. Okay, I want you to hear me on this. Is there needs to be an education with realtors. They're so removed from the process. Does that make sense? You know, it's like asking a server sometimes, like, hey, this is too salty. What's in here? And they're like, let me go run and ask the cook. Right. So sometimes the realtor is like the server. Like, well, I gotta go. Last title entitles to cook instead of maybe sometimes educating the server. Well, you know what? There seems to be a lot of chicken going on. I have no idea why I made that up, but there has been very. It's very salty. And so sometimes your job is to educate is my point. Does that make sense? Right?
Yes.
When you talk to a realtor, I don't want to give the script away, but go back to the script. So. But sometimes conversation with your realtor is like, did you know that you could pick the signing agent? Then they say. Then they say, no. And you go. You go. They go, no. You go, cool. And then you Go. Did you know that you're in charge of the entire process? Like, you can pick every single person in the transaction? I didn't know that. Yeah, look, look, you control the entire pyramid, for lack of a better description here. And so my point is, again, I don't want to go into the script because that's in the course. And you're paying for that. That.
Right.
The point I'm trying to make is you have to keep educating them. You're gonna get responses like title does that. I've prepared you for that moment. So, right. What I want, what I can't give away for free on here is, look, you can pick the notary like you pick the title company. You can pick the notary like you pick your transaction coordinator. You need to enlighten them to their power. Most of the time, they don't realize the power that they have, Yvette. So instead of trying to close them for business, the conversation needs to be on the power that they have within the process of a real estate transaction. So I think sometimes your new notary, public loan signing agents, marketing realtors, try to run through the education process as quick as they can, and then they get all discouraged because, like, well, title does it. I've prepared you for that answer. Like, yes, they do. So you need to keep coming back with responses on showing them the amount of power they have within the transaction. Like, you are the realtor. You hand picked that title company, did you not? Yeah, I did. Why did you hand pick that title company? Oh, because they never make mistakes. So did you know you can hand pick the notary? No, no, no, no. Hold on, hold on. I know you know. You don't. Why did you pick the title company? Make no mistakes. Well, why aren't you hand picking the notary? Because they don't make mistakes. Right. You have to keep walking them down. That. Does that make sense?
Yes, it does.
Definitely. So next, I want you to go back with those realtor friends, yours, DM Me, and tell me how the education conversation. Don't ask them for business.
Right?
Don't ask them for business. Just ask him. Did you know how much power that you have in the transaction? Well, yeah, you know, I mean, I know that I can pick the title company. Well, I know I can pick realtor, I mean, loan officers to. To refer. Okay, cool. So you're picking all these people. So how come you're not picking the notary? Well, I can't. Well, would it change your mind if I told you that you could just, like, you picked the title company. So it's an education. It's a dance, right. Of getting them to the point of like, wow, you're right. I totally didn't realize this part. And then you need to coach them on why they should add you. So remember, again, I'm going to end with this. Don't ask him for business. Just ask him. Did you know how much power that you have in the transaction? Well, yeah, you know, I mean, I know that I can pick the title company. Well, I know I can pick realtor. I mean, loan officers to. To refer. Okay, cool. So you're picking all these people. So how come you're not picking the notary? Is because this is in the course is the first half of the first half of the conversation with the realtor is the power that they have. The second half of the conversation is why you should be picked. One without the other doesn't move the needle. Does that make it make sense? Yes. So you got it. But a lot of times, a lot of notary public loan signing agents skip this part because they get discouraged the moment they hear, oh, title picks it. No, I can't. Oh, I've never heard of that before. They get immediately discouraged and they move to the second part and you've lost them because you're not doing the education piece, but you have to do the dance with them on the education piece to get to the signing piece. Does that make sense?
Yeah, they were kind of like. So I. I felt like I made a little bit of progress because they did get my number.
So.
And I didn't give them any cards or anything. They.
Well, I can't. Well, would it change your mind if I told you that you could just like, you picked the title company. So it's an education. It's a. It's a dance, right. Of getting them to the point of like, wow, you're right. I totally didn't realize this part.
Put it on their phone. So I was like, okay, well, at least I'm getting in there a little bit. So. And I'll talk to them again.
So remember, a lot of realtors don't know the power that they have. And like, I teach you, you have to have an education conversation because you cannot move to step two of the closing process without them realizing the power they have in the purchase transaction. Does that make sense? Two times too many times we skip through it because we get a little nervous. Like, oh, title. Title. What are you talking about? That is your time to, like, almost put out your chest even more and make them Realize, oh, my gosh, you have so much power. And then you need to coach them on why they should add you. So remember, again, I'm going to end with this. Does that make sense? So go back to the course, watch that piece. DM me if you can't find it, and then DM me as you're walking through these conversations so I can help you. Okay. This, because this is in the course, is the first half of the first half of the conversation with the realtor is the power that they have. The second half of the conversation is why you should be picked one without the other doesn't for sure. Will. Thank you very much. Let's go. Thank you. Bye. All right, all right, all right. So who do we have? Oh, let's go. I got time for two more. Okay. All right, two more, two more, two more. Let's go with Jaspreet and Angelina. And then I'm on for an hour. I'll be having a great, great President's Day. My name is Mark Wills. I teach notaries how to make money as loan signing agents. Jaspree, what's up, girl? Hi.
Hi, Mark. How are you doing today?
Move the needle. Does that make it make sense? Yes. So you got it. But a lot of times, a lot of signing agents skip this part because they get discouraged the moment they hear, oh, title picks it. No, I can't. Oh, I. I've never heard of that before. They get immediately discouraged and they move to the second part and you've lost them because you're not doing the education piece. But you have to. God, I can barely see you. Put that camera a little bit. There we go. There we go. I gotta see that beautiful smile. Okay, tell everybody where you're from and let's get into some coaching.
Sure. I'm from California, San Francisco Bay area. It is San Lorenzo. So, yes, I have a couple of questions. First, happy President Day to you. And then second one is quick question. Here is now I am approaching to the escrow officers who lives very far away from me or from my county. For example, in Fresno, one of the example, because they said it's very far away. So I'm, I'm approaching to them through the emails, like I collect the emails.
Of do the dance with them on the education piece to get to the signing piece. Does that make sense?
Yeah, they were kind of like. So I. I felt like I made a little bit of progress because they did get my number, so. And I didn't give them any cards or anything. They put it on their Phones. I was like okay, well at least I'm getting in there a little bit.
So them and I wanted to email them my introduction but did I, I did it on Friday. But my question to you is do I need to feed like keep on follow up with the email. Like who will you know reply me and then I will follow up. Like that's what I wanted the you know, insights on.
Yeah, no, good question. Okay. First off, so proud of you going direct girl I hope everyone's getting inspired today. We have so many direct conversations. Not signing service. So proud of you again I'm not anti signing service but I'm pro direct business. So anyways want to say thank you because you're inspiring people on here and whoever's going to watch it. Okay cool. So let's talk about that real quick. So remember Jaspreet, don't lose sight of they are hiring you to represent them at the closing table.
Yes.
So email marketing, email, phone and I'll.
Talk to them again.
So remember a lot of realtors don't know the power that they have and like I teach you, you have to have an education conversation because you cannot move to step two of the closing process without them realizing the power they have in the purchase transaction. Only truly effective if they are accompanied with a face to face drop in. Yeah, they got to see your beautiful smile. Yeah, they got to see your energy. They need to see your professionalism because remember if they they have to see you, they have to see them in you. From a professional standpoint like can I trust this person to be professional with my client? Does that make sense?
Yes, it does.
Yes, email should be. So here's the appropriate cadence. Once a week in person, the minimum every other week. But my ideal, my recommended coaching is to watch it. Does that make sense? Two times too many times we skip through it because once a month in per once a week. Once a week in person on top of a once a week email follow up. So at the minimum every you get a little nervous like oh, title, title. What are you talking about? That is your time to like almost put out your chest even more and make them realize oh my gosh, you have so much power. Does that make sense? So go back to the course, watch that piece. DM me if you can other week in person but also once a week email. So emails once a week like clockwork. That's a chest breed. Here's why you should hire me. How's your week going? I'm available if you need me once a week. Okay, now Ideally, if you're doing once a week, you're going into at least every other week. Like, oh, that's right. You're Jasmine. You're just read. Excuse me, you're the one who's emailing me every single week. So they're now they're putting a face to the email. Does that make sense? Find it and then DM me as you're walking through these conversations so I can help you. Okay, well, thank you very much. Let's go. All right, all right, all right. So who do we have? Oh, let's go. I got time for two more. Okay. All right.
Yes, it does so.
But I think a lot of times because it's so easy to email.
Yes, it is.
That, that signing agents lose, lose going in and then they get frustrated. The emails aren't working. And I'm like, your emails aren't working because they still don't know the face that they're putting in front of their clients.
Yes.
So now what, what makes this. Or two more. Two more. Let's go with Jas Breed and Angelina. And then I'm gonna been on for an hour. I'll be having a great business easy. My opinion, Jasper, is most signing agents won't do the President's day. My name is Mark Wills. I teach notaries how to make money as loan signing. A to face follow up. That's why there's so much business on the other side. So many notary public loan signing agents. Jaspree, what's up, girl?
Hi, Mark. How are you doing today?
Hide behind the emails that the signing agents who don't end up having a higher closing ratio because they push past their nerves, past their fear and realize that success is on the other side of their nerves. And so remember, at the minimum, every other week because they need a face to the email.
Email. Yes.
So now if you want to be like, you know what I would really like you to do is every week face to face. But I look, I get we're busy. I get we have families. I get that like it's nervous. So at the minimum, every yoga God, I can barely see you. Put that camera a little bit. There we go, there we go. I got to see that beautiful smile. Okay, Tell everybody where you're from and let's get into some coaching.
Sure.
Week. But I hope that coaching helps you today.
Yes, it does. But one question more. So this, this I only did I. I'm, I'm going to the, you know, title agent title. I'm from California, San Francisco Bay Area cts and office officers personally as well. But this I did only approach to the Brinso. So yes, I have couple of questions. First, happy president day to you to the title officers which are you know, very far like the Fresno with to me here from two, two and a half hours of the drive. So I am not able to connect with them since I get those signings through them through signing services indirectly.
Well, look, let me tell me, Let me tell you right now. You know, all I heard was, you know your marketing title companies two hours away. Girl, stop. Like what you need to start focusing closer to your home, closer to.
And then second one is quick question here is now I am approaching to the escrow officers who lives very far away from me or from my county. For example in Fresno. One of the example because they said it's very far away. So I'm, I'm approaching to them through the emails like I collect the emails of the home. Okay.
I mean look, and so what I need you to do is push past your nerves. Got this. Okay.
Okay.
So you. So I need you to believe in yourself.
Mm.
And I mean I think you said you're in the Bay Area, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Like girl, like you're in Bay. There you can throw a rock and hit a title company. You can open your front door and.
I want you to email them my introduction. But did I. I did it on Friday. But my question to you is do I need to feed like keep on.
Follow up with the 19 realtors. So my point is, you know, I just need you to believe in yourself more. You know, you might have got easy access to some title companies outside of your area, but you're never gonna make a ton of money like, like Google.
You know, reply me and then I will follow up. Like that's what I wanted the you know, insights on.
Yeah. No, good question. Okay. First off, so that's just me being such a coach.
Yeah.
So take the road less traveled, push through your nerves and let's build a business. Okay. You're amazing. Say with me I'm amazing.
I'm amazing.
Let's go.
Thank you, Mark. Thank you so much for the insight. And then let me, let me put it on this, you know, practical and if I have any question, I can always, you know, message, advice. Yes.
All right, girl, go get him. Bye.
A nice Monday.
Time for one more. I mean let me just wrap up with Jaspreet's conversation is, you know, the follow up. The follow up cadence. The proud of you going direct. Girl, I hope everyone's Getting inspired today we have so many. I recommend once a week in person, once a week in email. Look, I get direct conversations, not signing service. So proud of you Again I'm not anti signing service but I am pro direct business. So anyways want to say thank you because you're inspiring people on here and whoever's going to watch it. Okay cool. So let's talk about that real quick. So sending out an email, super easy. I get it. It's less nerve wracking. I get, I empathize. But when you understand the success is on the other side of your fear, on the other side of your nerves, everything in life becomes easier. Number two, so many of us talk about, you know, I'm going to market after my nerves go away. I'm getting I'm going to market after I do 10 signings. Let me tell you something, you're going to do 10 signings and you're still going to feel nervous because nerves never go away until you do the doing. And so when you understand, remember Jaspreet, don't lose sight of they are hiring you to represent them at the closing table.
Yes.
So email marketing, email that success is working through your nerves, not waiting for your nerves to go away. Life becomes so much easier. I'm not talking just being a notary public loan signing agent. I'm talking just pushing through your nerves and everything in life you're going to only truly effective if they are accompanied with a face to face drop in. Yeah, they got to see your beautiful smile. Yeah, they got to make so much more money. Life becomes so much more is this easy. Business opens up, relationships open up, networking opens up. So work remember working through your nerves and not stop trying to wait until your nerves go away. Because look, if you're one of those signing agents like Mark, I'm going to go direct after I get 25 signings under my belt. You're going to be just as nervous 25 signings later than you are today. Mark my words. The biggest thing that I get from my successful students, the biggest regret. My successful students tell me every single time I ask what's your biggest regret? And they tell me my biggest regret is I did it. Go direct. See your energy, they need to see your professionalism because remember if they they have to see you, they have to see them in you from a professional sooner. They every single one says it. So I'm telling you once you go direct you make wow, I was just over building this narrative. It is easy. They put their pants on one leg at A time just like me. They get in arguments with their families members just like no standpoint. Like can I trust this person to be professional with my client? Does that make sense?
Yes, it does.
Yes, email should be. So here's the appropriate cadence. Me. They're just humans, just like us. So go in. Remember to build your business. Let's go. All right, we got one more person on my girl Angelina. Let's get this party started. Angelina, talk to me, girl. Happy President's Day, everybody. I'm going a little bit over my time just because I know that we had a little bit of a offset there. Let me try.
Oh my God, it's so good to see you.
Holy cow.
Okay.
All right. Well Angelina talk to tell everybody what's your name? I tell them where you're from and let's get some coaching.
Yes, my name is Angel. I'm from San Jose Bay area and.
Once a week in person at the minimum, every other week. But my ideal, my recommended coaching is to once a month in once a week. Once a week in person.
I freaking love your course and everything you said is true. And I learned that every single day when a realtor and a loan officer or an escrow officer compliments me for completing the P core.
Top of a once a week email follow up. So at the minimum, every so a.
Whole bunch of things. But let's get right into the questions. I actually have a signing service appointment that I'm going to send notary on my behalf on Wednesday in San Diego your town. And I realized that since Fidelity in Chicago are not accepting signing service applications and you know First American or Republic, they're they use Snapdocs but other week.
In person but also once a week email. So emails once a week like clockwork. This is Jaspreet. Here's why you should hire me. How's your week going? I'm available if you need me once a week.
Okay.
Now ideally if you're doing once a week, you're going in at least every other week. Like oh, that's right. You're Jasmine. You're just read. Excuse me. You're the one who's you know their.
Fees 150 and then you know the fee that they take from Snapdocs. The snapdragon takes like 20 something. So I can kind of understand why signing service companies charge like 75 or 80 or 90. Right under 100. So I haven't been marketing local. My signing service company, attorney company reach out to me to do the signing and I just want to know after okay. The day of the signing, what to expect and then what to do after the signing happens. So I'm thinking about reaching out to the signer and asking for their review and sending a little goodie and then also getting a review from my client.
In Georgia emailing me every single week. So they're now they're putting a face to the email. Does that make sense?
Yes, it does.
So. But I think a lot of times because it's so easy to email.
Yes, it is that.
That signing agents lose. Lose going in and then they get frustrated. The emails are working. And I'm like, your emails aren't working because they still don't know the.
So that I can share it with my other direct clients and let them know that I'm doing something out here with my signing service. Okay.
Okay. So I got so much. I got so much in there. So I want to make sure that everybody heard crystal clear that angel has started her signing service and she got her very first signings that she's going to outsource to another side. Which means congratulations, she's officially in business. Everybody drop her a clapping emoji because that is you officially scaling her business. Now. You know, I got to be your cheerleader, but I also got to be your coach. And so what I am kind of also proud of by the way angel face that they're putting in front of their clients.
Yes.
So now what. What makes this business easy in my my opinion Jespreet is most notary public loan signing agents won't do the facial is you knew exactly what I was going to say and you said it before because I you knew you heard your coach in you to tell you that stop making excuses. So I'm proud of you. Okay. But you guys to face follow up. That's why there's so much business on the other side. So many signing agents has not making excuses. Girl, I mean excuse. You can't check any cashes with excuses. Hide behind the emails that the signing agents who don't end up having a higher cloak. And so you got to push through that. And at the end of the day, what I'll tell you is you might make mistakes with your signing service, but you cannot get good until you get through those mistakes. So part of me believes you're not marketing because you're afraid of making mistakes. But you have to understand your relationships will get you through those mistakes. I want you to market to some of the people that you already do business with. And remember, if you make a mistake losing ratio because they push past their nerves, past their fear, and realize that success, you have such a good relationship, believe in yourself enough that those mistakes won't happen to get to the other side as that this is on the other side of their nerves. And so remember, at the minimum, every other week, it makes sense. Okay. You with me on that? You hear what I said?
Their fidelity.
Because they need a face to the email.
Yes.
Okay. Now, if you want to be like, you know, Chicago.
Yeah, okay.
I'll get to that. I'm gonna get to that. Now, what I would really like you to do is every week, face to face. But I. Look, my bet is all your clients aren't just Fidelity in Chicago people. So I still think you're making a little bit of an excuse up. You got to go pinpoint the people where you can build your business through. Now, number two, Fidelity in Chicago, which don't worry about Chicago Fidelity owned businesses right now. Here's the truth is they're trying to move everybody to bank serve. Okay, they own bank serve. That's a. They own bank serve like First American owns fast. Now, what the thing is, is I get we're busy. I get we have families. I get that. Like, it's nervous. So at the minimum, every other Fidelity escrow officers can still give pushback to saying, I want to use angel signing service. How do I know? Because I have clients who do that. Right. So. But my week. But I hope that coaching helps you today.
Yes, it does. But one question more. So this, this I only did. I'm going to the, you know, title agent, title office offices personally as well. But this I did only approach to.
The point is, you got to be able to. You can't give any pushback because to your point, you have no signing. So you've got to start marketing to everybody in your network to start using your signing service. That's my point. So if you're going to break through Fidelity, you got to come Fidelity, correct. Like, I've done 200 closings. So you got to quit pushing through those excuses to get those numbers up so your Fidelity escrow officers can really go to bat for you. They just can't go to bat for you right now because you have one signing. So my point is, is you got to start finding the independents or the other companies that you have that aren't Fidelity and start building your signing service through them so you can crack into.
Fidelity does that to the title officers, which are, you know, very far, like the Fresno with to me here from two, two and a half Hours of the drive. So I am not able to connect with them since I get those signings through them. Through signing services indirectly.
Well, look, it makes sense.
And I shouldn't worry about the profit, right? Because if.
Stop, stop. Yes, stop worrying about profit. Let me tell me now. Let me tell you right now. You know, all I heard was, you know, you're marketing title companies, you're an LSS student. Chase the experience. Remember when you first started a business, I told you to work for 60 bucks? Yeah, same thing. This time around you gotta chase experience. Now, I don't necessarily want you operating in the red, but I don't necessarily want you worried about the profit. So those are two different topics. Right? So I'm not coaching you on lose money, but I also am coaching on don't worry about profit yet. Does that make sense? Just get the reviews, get the experience under your belt. Does that make sense? Two hours away. Girl, stop. Like what you need to start focusing closer to your home, closer to.
How do I show the reviews?
Well, saying it when you verbally go in. You know what I mean? Remember, this is still a face to face marketing business. So you're going to market your signing services same way you marketed your individual site. I mean, look, and so what I need you to do is push past your nerves. Got this. Okay.
Okay.
So you, so I need you to believe in yourself. And I mean, I think you said you're in the Bay Area, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Like, girl, like you're in Bay. They're being agent business. Does that make sense?
Okay.
Okay. Nothing changes. But I'm gonna end with this. Angel, I'm proud of you, girl. Okay, okay. Proud of you. But you, you know, I coach you on the side, you're still in your own way. Stop. I know you gotta stop getting in your own way. You, you told me and everybody on here that you, you know, that you gotta stop making excuses. Then stop making the excuses. Girl. Girl, success is on the other side. Start marketing directly to some of your clients who you're a little nervous to market to and get through that because you're a. You can throw a rock and hit a title company. You can open your front doors and you're going to crush it. And honestly, I'm going to end with this is you might make a mistake. Okay, next topic. Like literally, you know what I mean? Like, you might make, you know, your notary might miss FedEx. You know what you're going to want to see 19 realtors. So my point is, you know, I just need you to believe in yourself more. You know, you might have got easy access to some title companies outside of your area, but you're never going to make a ton of money. Like learn how to make sure to police your notary, not to Ms. FedEx. It's all part of the process. Does that make sense? Okay, so don't be so nervous to make a mistake. That's just me being honest with your coach.
Yeah.
So take the road less traveled. Push. Because that's going to hold you back from scaling this thing. Does that make sense? So go to all the people you already have business with, tell them how great you are and how great your signing is and build this business, girl.
Let's do it.
All right. Let's go through your nerves and let's build the business. Okay. You're amazing. Say with me I'm amazing.
I'm amazing.
All right. Great work, Angeli. I'm so proud of you. Know that. And so I will say see you on the other side of your nerves, girl, because you're going to build this business. Let's go. You're welcome. My biggest takeaway is and that's my last coaching, my biggest takeaway on that. And again, I'm so proud of Angel. Let's go.
Thank you, Mark. Thank you so much for the insight. And then let me, let me put it on this, you know, practical and if I have any question, I can always, you know, message, take the advice. Yes.
All right, girl, go get them. Bye.
A nice Monday.
No matter where you are in your business, you're always going to be nervous. Angel is a six figure notary public loan signing agent and she's just as nervous now scaling into hiring out other notaries. So the coaching I'm telling you is if you're a brand new notary public loan signing agent or you're brand new to like going marketing direct. Business is not about waiting until your nerves go away. Business is about working for. Let me just wrap up with Jaspreet's conversation is, you know, through your nerves, understanding and accepting that experience is our best teacher. When you understand that sometimes you have to fall down in order to get up, everything becomes easier. But the follow up, the follow up cadence that I recommend once a week in person, once a week in email. Look, I get never changes. That's what I wanted to say is like my girl angel is six figures. She's crushing it but she's still nervous. So I want you beginning notary public loan signing agents. You don't feel like you're alone so don't feel like you're alone with the nerves. Don't feel like you're alone, like, oh my God, sending out an email, super easy. I get it's, it's less nerve wracking. I get, I empathize. But with somebody, the only person who doesn't want to go market direct Angela. Some of the best relationships she's built, her six figure notary public loan signing agent business with and she's still having a Nerves are normal. Before I get on stage at conference, I am a wreck. Like I am a total wreck. But I know I can't get good at public speaking until I speak in front of a thousand people. And so my point is every step of your journey going to be nervous. But the success, you understand the success is on the other side of your fear, on the other side of your nerves, everything in life becomes easier. Number two, so many of us talk about, you know, I'm going to market after my nerves go away. I'm going to mark it after I do 10 signings. Let me tell you something, you're going to do 10 signings and you're still going to feel nervous because nerves never go away until you do the doing. And so when you understand that success is working through your nerves, nerves, not waiting for your nerves to go away, life becomes so much easier. I'm not talking just being a notary public loan signing agent. I'm talking just pushing through your nerves and everything in life you're going to make people understand that you got to push through your nerves. You got to continuously believe in you. And I make so much more money, life becomes so much more easy. Business opens up, relationships open up, networking opens up. So work, remember working through the end with this. I believe in you, I'm in your corner. I know you're amazing. How do I know you're amazing? Because it's so hard to be an entrepreneur and so clear nerves and not stop trying to wait until your nerves go away. Because look, if you're one of the signing agents like Mark, I'm going to go direct. After I get 25 signings under my belt, you're going to be just as nervous, hard to believe in yourself enough to start your own business. So if no one else believes in you, no that I do 25 signings later than you are today. Mark my words. The biggest thing that I get from my successful students, the biggest regret, my successful students tell me every single time I ask, what's your biggest regret? And they tell me, my biggest regret is I did it go direct sooner they every single one says it. So I'm telling you once you go direct you make wow. I was just over building this narrative. It is easy. They put their pants on one leg at a time just like me. They get in arguments with their families members just like me. They're just humans just like us. So go in and remember to build your and know that you do too. So continue telling up that amazing people you are. Keep telling every escrow officer, every lender, everybody that you're an amazing notary public loan signing agent. Because success is on the other side of your nerves. I believe in you and I will always believe business. Let's go. All right, we got one more person and all my girl Angelina. Let's get this party started. Even you I promise you if you ever need any any prep pep talks holler at your Angelina. Talk to me girl. Happy President's Day everybody. I'm going a little bit over my time just because I know that we had a little bit of a offset there. Let me try. Oh my God.
It's so good to see you. Holy cow. Okay.
All right. Well Angelina talk to tell everybody what's your name? I already tell them what your from and let's get into some coaching.
Yes my name is Angel. I'm from San Jose Bay area and I freaking love your course and everything you said is true and I learned that every single day when a boy.
Get me in the DMs and I'll let you know that you're amazing. Believe in you and you are deserving.
Of the realtor and a loan officer or an escrow officer compliments me for.
Completing the p core business you're asking for. Have an amazing rest of your day be with your family reset and have an amazing week and go get them. Let's go. Bye everybody. I'm great.
So a whole bunch of things but let's get right into the questions.
Your holiday.
I actually have a signing service appointment that I'm going to send notary on my behalf on Wednesday in San Diego your town and I realized that since for fidelity in Chicago are not accepting signing service applications and you know first American or Republic they're they use Snapdocs but you know their fee is 150 and then you know the fee that they take from Snapdocs the snapdocs take like 20 something so I can kind of understand why signing service companies charge like 75 or 80 or 90 right under 100. You heard your coach in you to tell you that stop making excuses. So I'm proud of you. Okay? But you got to stop making excuses, girl. I mean, excuse. You can't check any cashes with excuses. And remember, if you make a mistake, you have such a good relationship to believe in yourself enough that those mistakes won't happen to get to the other side. Does that make sense? Okay, you with me on that? You hear what I said?
Their Fidelity in Chicago. Yeah.
Okay. I'm gonna get to that. I'm get to that. Now, my bet is all your clients aren't just Fidelity in Chicago people. So I still think you're making a little bit of an excuse up. You got to go pinpoint the people where you can build your business through. Now, number two, Fidelity in Chicago, which. Don't worry about Chicago. Fidelity owned businesses right now. Here's the truth is they're trying to move everybody to Bank Serve. Okay? They own Bank Serve. They own Bank Serve like First American owns fast. Okay.
Okay. Nothing changes. But I'm gonna end with this. Angel, I'm proud of you, girl. Okay, okay. Proud of you. But you're, you know, I coach you on the side. You're still in your own way. Stop. All right, let's go. All right. Great work, Angel Aussie. I'm so proud of you. Know that. And so I will see you on the other side of your nerves, girl, because you're going to build this business.
Just like I did your first journey.
