Mark Wills made $125,000 as a notary signing agent and scaled it into a signing service. He talks about the income, the flexibility to reclaim family time, and six years of building the business from the ground up.
Everybody thinks being a notary public loan signing agent is great because of the money you make. But how much time did this business give you back with your family?
It gave me a lot of business back. I recently just came off a vacation and the good things about, especially this year, I didn't have to ask for permission to go on vacation. And it just like feels so good to say, you know what, I'm not going to go. You know, I'm going to go to Jacksonville, I'm going to go to Disney because I want to go or I can go. And when I don't have to worry about my colleagues, you know, communicating with them about okay, I'm going to take off or asking permission and getting it denied, it just makes everything more so sweet about this business and getting paid. When you are your own business owner with a sign of service, the
fact you've scaled this business to a signing service, I hope everyone is just really inspired by you. And again, you know, this has been a six year journey and it just shows you the ability, if you stick with it, you get patient, you trust the system, trust the process, put in the work, what's possible.
