How much should a notary public loan signing agent charge for signing? The very simple answer is whatever your client lets you. I always get with Mark. You know, I walk into a title company, they ask me, what should I charge? And my answer to all my students is simply ask them, what do you allow notary public loan signing agents charge? And I will do the same. The reason that's important is twofold, is a, you don't want to overprice yourself and B, you don't want to underprice yourself. So you don't want to come in at 150 and their average payout is 175. Because you didn't simply ask, I'll charge whenever you let other notary public loan signing agents charge. Or and then on the flip side of that, you don't want to come in at 200 when they're like, man, we only let our notary public loan signing agents charge 1 75. So the simple answer always is, I will charge whatever you normally let your signing agents charge. Now, same answer goes with signing services. And so whenever you're working for a signing service or you're calling up a signing service, you're talking to them and you're asking, well, hey, well, how much do you charge? You simply charge whatever you let other signing agents charge. So I always think it's very important to just go with whatever they set the market rate at. And then as you increase your, your relationship, you can always go up from there. You don't ever want to overprice yourself. Now let's say you're filling out on online or something and you need a price point. I always tell my students that $90 to 100 is a fair price point to start with signing services. And if an escrow officer asks you what your fee is and they're not giving you what we usually let notaries charge, answer, then you always want to be safe at 150. So 90 to 100 bucks for signing with a signing service. 150 to start. But the ultimate answer is you always say, I will charge whatever you let all the other notaries charge that you always work with. Hope that helps you.
