My name is Nicole King. I'm from Northern California, Chico. And I just wanted to say I'm a full time stay at home mom. Here's my daughter. Say hi. My question is, so when you do the 300 like signing services that you have the list for, I noticed a lot of them weren't in California. Why would you sign up for ones that weren't in California or where you're at?
Question. Good question. The answer is, because they're nationwide. So you gotta understand this. I am in San Diego. The majority of my business is SoCal based. But one of my best clients is in Seattle. Why? Because my client from San Diego moved to Seattle. I followed her. She's like, mark, I'm still going to use your signing service. I do probably 50 closings we a month in Seattle. So for any Washington signing agents who are not signing up, my signing service are losing business. So remember, we're just in a location, but we can farm them out anywhere. Our loan officers are closing business because remember, so you have a sign. You have a loan officer in Chico, right? That loan officer in Chico can do Nevada business, most likely. That loan officer Chico can do Arizona business, most likely. My guess is that Northern California loan officers probably doing organ business. So where you live is not relevant to where the closings happen. Okay. You could, there could be a loan officer in Phoenix who does a ton of business in Chico for the same reason I do a business in Seattle that maybe their Arizona escrow officer transferred to Chico and now they're crushing it in Chico. Right. So don't pigeonhole yourself to just California. You should be signing up with all 300. Okay, now let me give you a little bit tip on the way out. Okay? So remember, part of what I'm training you to do is don't just be a robot and answer text messages. Can you make business by just answering a text? 100% you can. But if you want to scale your job is to get your name out as quick as you can. The best way to do that's picking up the phone and introducing yourself. So what I tell students who are using the Calvin Darvill method. That's what calling every signing service in the list is called. We had one student doing the beginning and he made 5,000 bucks in his first 30 days. So usually I tell you new students to call the state's farthest from you because it's most likely the signing services of Florida don't have Chico business. But that doesn't mean that you can't start in Florida and be like, hey, so go on the list. Organize it by state. Like, hey, this is Nicole. Northern California. Because you're probably gonna stink at the script. The first couple times I said it, you might be nervous I said it. But you can't get good at something until you do that something right. So if you're gonna stumble through the script or stumble through your nerves, start with the signing services farthest away from California. I don't want you calling the Sacramento signing services and being nervous because you've never said the script before. You know what I mean? So the best part about this business is you can stumble through it, read it while you're on the phone, no one knows you're reading it, and then eventually you can put the script down and actually becomes natural, but you can work that way. Does that make sense? Yep. And so make sure that you start on the east coast. Come to the west coast before you call your San Francisco, Sacramento, Southern California ones, and make sure that you're starting there. And then work your way closer to you as you get more comfortable with the script.
