My name is Mark Will. I do my best to help as many notaries across this country build profitable signing agent businesses. So I want to make sure that I jump on and give you my time to make sure that you are all in on your business. Yolanda, what's up? What's up? How are you?
Hi, I'm good.
I'm from New York and I'm one of your loan signing system students.
Okay. So I jump on a coach. Girl, talk to me where you got your business. What can I help you with?
I'm doing, I'm doing real well, real well. Right Now I'm working seven days a week making about like $400 a day.
Girl, say that loud for the people in the back. Making $400 a day. When I hear students makes me so happy. So my question is you, how do we get you to 400 to $800 a day? Talk to me. Let's go.
I want, I work from 10 to 6 at a dealership notarizing power of attorneys. And I have a lot of time on my hands. I want to know what can I do when I am here? I have my computer and everything. How can I build my business to like, I mean, because something could happen. They might not want me within like two months. But I, but I need to work on getting better and improving so that I can get more money after because I'm getting pretty used to making $2800 a week.
I mean, I hope everybody's hearing this. She's making 400, $2,800 a week part time. She's in the full time job. This is incredible. So here's my biggest coaching is, you know, when you can't do the face to face marketing, then you got to go to some digital marketing. And so what do I mean by digital marketing? This is in the course. Make sure you go back and jump in. But look, the lowest hanging fruit, Yolanda, the lowest hanging fruit is getting on LinkedIn and adding people in our industry. So searching real estate agents, real estate attorneys, loan officers, title officers, and then just connecting with them. Okay. And then you use a little search bar on top. Tell them LinkedIn will geolocate you knowing you're in New York City. Or you can put real estate agents, New York City or wherever you are. You'll get a list of your first connections. Remember how LinkedIn works? They're gonna give you first, second and third connection. So first connection means that you and someone you're already friends with is friends with them. So the point I'm saying of the first connection is the introductions very easily. Hey, Susan, this is Yolanda. I see that you also know Jared. That's your intro in the message. Does that make sense? So your first connection is people that you both know. So people always get students. Always goes, well, Mark, how do I start the conversation? We'll start the conversation with your commonality, which is that you both know this person. Now, ideally, you actually know something about the person that you both know in common. Does that make sense? So, oh, my gosh, it looks like you know Jared. I know Jared. I've been working with Jared for 25 years. Whatever. So you start with who you guys know collectively, and then you go into how you know Jared or whoever your. Your connection is, and then you go into, well, I'm in the real estate industry, and I would love to connect, maybe do coffee the next week, talk about how maybe we can help serve each other. Does that make sense? So the lowest hanging fruit when you're at work is LinkedIn marketing. Okay. And the way you do that is just go in the search bar, type in real estate attorney, New York. Wherever you live, be specific so they can serve you people that are closest to you. And then you make sure you enter the conversation by the two people that you know, the person you know together, talk about that person, and then end with, let's meet up for coffee, whatever your move is that you can make that decision, right?
Yes.
But what happens is you come off a little spam if you're like, hi, I'm Yolanda, and they don't know how they know you. Does that coaching makes sense?
Yeah.
So first connections are the best because you can reference whoever your first connection is to get the conversation started. So you don't look like it now, because I knew before I left on vacation that I had to serve is not a motto. I just say to say it is something that I absolutely, really live and breathe with my business, and I want to inspire you to do the same thing for your clients. This is not about me trying to get my flowers. What this is about is me showing you that when you're committed and you want to go above and beyond like I'm on vacation. My guess is none of you would be upset if I didn't do a live transmission today. But I knew that I had to go above and beyond for you because that's the type of business owner I am. And I say that because that's the type of business owner I want you to be. I walk the walk is what I do. And I want you to walk the walk. Your job is to go above and beyond every, every single time for your clients. Just like I'm trying to show you through my actions, I do for you. Okay, so just because I'm on vacation doesn't mean that you're on vacation. Any problems with your business? I want to help my man Jay. What up now?
Let's go, man.
I'm out here just trying to help another human. How you doing, baby?
I am living life like it's golden.
Ah. Cause it is golden. Let's go. So tell everybody your name. I know your name, but everybody named where you're from. And let's have a conversation.
Yes, I'm Jerome. I'm a notary out in Somerset, New Jersey. Yeah. And I actually just want to say thank you so much for that CRM program because it is like as many times I said this before, it is heaven sent as I actually sent out to you on Instagram. I actually. I'm also a wedding officiant. And then I did like a wedding expert early on this year, and they actually sent out a whole list of different brides with their contact information, whatever, and it was like over like 2,500 people, whatever. So I actually was able to import that whole list on the CRM program, create a template, and actually send out an email blast all to like 2,700 people with just one click type of thing. So I'm like, oh, man, that just saves me like at least 3, 4 days of sending out individual emails for digital marketing. And I just did all of that and within like half an hour, 45 minutes. So, yeah, this program is amazing.
I vote away. Jay is talking about the notary public loan signing agent marketing software that LSS loan signing system just came out with. And what he just said adds a notice, a few things I want to unpack right there for everybody. He's a loan signing agent, but also does wedding officiation efficient. So he's making business multiple ways or making revenue multiple ways with notary commission. Everybody should be doing that as well. What he also said is he got a CSV file or file with all these clients names, uploaded them directly to the marketing software, and with one button, sent email out to all 2500 to market his business. So why is that incredible? Because a good notary, what I'm calling the modern notary, utilizes digital marketing with their ground normal marketing strategies. Drums while you are the man, dog.
Thanks. Of course. And I'm actually just about to head back in there to Actually do some of the social media stuff and like scheduling all of those for like the next week and a half and on my LinkedIn and everything else. But I just want to say thank you so much. It's just heaven sent.
Thank you. And I want to steal from our girl Dawn. You know, Mandate Mondays, you do mandate every single day. I mean, you are an implementer as well as anyone I've ever coached, Jay. So I will take the flowers. I do appreciate that I put a lot of hard work into giving you guys the best tools, but I want to make sure that you get your own flowers because you work as hard as anyone I've coached in eight years, man. So don't stop. Keep building and let's go. I'll see you on the flip side. What's up, girl?
Hey. Hey. So I'm actually sitting at my. I have been trying to, you know, get the CRM all set up and realizing that I've got multiple email addresses and so this one doesn't go with that one. And that's my old Google business profile from Reno. And it's been a freaking struggle for like two days. And I've come to the place where I'm trying to get my Google business profile to get verified and I realized that if I'm not going by my legal name, I don't know if they're going to verify me because I made up a new name for my notary. So my question to you is, should I just get a, like, register for a business name or should I just register for an llc? It's, it's not, it's not that big of a difference in fees. And I'm wondering like, if they don't verify me, if they just say, nope, you're not Blue Tree Notary, that, that doesn't exist. You can only go by Christine Conde. I'm going to be like, no, I want my new name. So I'm wondering what your advice is on that.
Yeah, I mean, true. So some states charge you extra money for an llc. If you're in a state that doesn't, an extra layer of liability protection never hurts. See, In California, it's $800 a year. I don't know if I necessarily recommend it because we have EO insurance as well.
Yeah.
But if the state of Florida or wherever you live doesn't charge you more and you don't got to file extra taxes or an extra tax payment, then I by all means would say it's a no brainer. But it's not necessary. Yeah. It's not a necessity in LLC because remember, we have $100,000 in E and O insurance, so our liability is already protected. But I'm not anti LLC as my coaching, so whatever you feel is most comfortable, I'm game for.
Okay. So, I mean, there's not a big difference, I guess, between just registering a business name. Here it's like 50 bucks for the business name, and then it's like 125 for the LLC, and then it's 150 a year or something like that. So I could just maybe do a business name.
Yeah, I mean, I. You think when I was an independent notary public loan signing agent, I just did a dba, A business names that you're talking about it. And I just filed a schedule C and never had to do a LLC filing. And I paid extra money for it because again, as an independent contractor, as a signing agent, have the liability insurance already protecting you. But again, whatever you want to do. But a DBA is what I do. I can't really give advice specifically. Always got to get an attorney. But remember, my bigger point is an LLC is an extra level protection, but it does cost you money. Yeah, we already have liability insurance. Yeah. And errors and emissions. So sometimes it's overkill. But if you can figure out why it's so clear, you always got to get an attorney. But remember, my bigger point is an LLC is an extra level protection, but it does cost you money. Yeah, we already have liability insurance. Yeah. As an errors and emissions. So sometimes it's overkill. But if you can figure out why it's so. It's so inexpensive, then I'm not against it at all.
Okay. Okay.
Okay.
That's all.
That's all I want to know. I'm just trying to get everything set up.
No, it'd be cool to start a thread conversation in the Facebook group and be like, hey, how many people have an llc? Maybe ask him and why. You know what I mean? So get some conversation. Use the community.
Okay. Okay.
Awesome. Thank you. I don't know if you saw my post from last night on my Instagram story, but let me say this. If you're chasing money, you will always work. When you're chasing freedom, that's when life slows down. And so I want to make sure that you're chasing relationships, you're chasing the things that equal freedom, and that is making sure you realize that chasing money will always be a hole that can't be filled. Your job is to take freedom. Freedom equals fulfillment. Freedom equals memories. And Memories equals happiness. You're like, oh my gosh, how great was that moment? How great was that? That's what creates fulfillment. So I'm on vacation. Yes. And I've already. I'll show you again. I loved all my video stuff on a five hour flight because I knew that I wanted to serve you even though I was here. And when you are heart comes through your business, everything scales. So don't chase the money. Shape is the value that you want to give to your clients. And I will always serve you. Even on vacation. It is no skin off my back to make sure that you have the support you need for an hour, two hours a day. And let me end with this because I'm going to go jump out there with my family right now. Is business is all about serving, serving your client, committing to them that they're actually more to you than a client. You're not just a student, you're some of the dreams and aspirations. Who wants more? And guess who that also is. Your clients, your escrow officer wants more. They're trying to build a business that feeds their families. How are you supporting that and are you communicating that you're supporting that? And let me end with this thought. Okay, I'm going to end with this thought. There is no such thing as work life balance. Ooh, that might land, but there's something called the work life harmony. Your job is to have your business blend with your life. And by the way, taking vacations and having boundaries is working within your harmony. But so many of you guys go into like Mark, I want to turn my brain off at 5. That doesn't happen for business owners. But what can happen is taking moments away from your business, focusing on family. But there's also time where your business is going to be part of your life. And my business this. I'm on vacation, but I can give an hour up of my day to support you. That's called integration of the two. Too many people expect to turn their brain off at a certain time. And I believe that's setting you up for failure. We're business owners. If you want a paycheck, you go turn your brain off at 5 o', clock, but then you got to go ask somebody else for vacation. But what we're looking for is business life harmony. That's what we're looking for, not balance. There's no such thing. I think that is the biggest misnomer that sets business owners up for failure. Because you're searching for this moment. You can just turn something off that's not really what exists. What happens is how do I integrate my life with my business to support the people that feed my family? That's what life is about. That's what business is about. So too often we're searching for life, work life balance. No, it's work life harmony. That's what we're looking for is how can we integrate our business into our life. Create boundaries, but also realize that, like, look, I'm going to take part of my day and go enjoy my vacation. So there's going to be a boundary there. But that doesn't mean that I can't spend an hour of my day supporting you. See that Too many times we're searching for the wrong things. Search for how to integrate in your work life and your business together. And you're going to build a business where your clients feel valued, where your clients know that you're supporting them around the clock. And then in return, they're going to support you. Let me give an example how many. I got so many messages today, Mark, get off this live. Go be with your family. See, because you support me, because you know how much I support you. That is called work life harmony, by the way, is when the people you serve want you to turn your brain off. You want me to turn my brain off because you know how committed I am to you. Is this clicking because you can get here with your clients? This is the coaching I'm trying to get here. You can get here with your clients even though you're on a vacation. If they know they're you're. If they know that you are, they are. Excuse me. Say it like this. If you're on vacation and they know you are thinking about them, that's all they need to know. They're like, wow, this person cares. So remember, we're not looking for work life balance. It doesn't exist. As business owners we're working for, we're working towards work life harmony. How can we integrate our business and our life as one beautiful thing? That is my message to you today. So aloha and mahalo. I'm going to end with this. I love you. I want to remember that I always believe in you, even when you may not believe in yourself. You want to know why I believe in you? Because I know what cloth you are cut from. Sometimes you forget what cloth you're cut from. And what cloth is that? The cloth of believing yourself. Being a risk taker, being courageous, being an entrepreneur. Did you know that 90% of America works for 10%? It's time to recognize your greatness. Stand up and be like I am made for the road less traveled. So when I say I believe in you Because I really do so I believe in you. But I just can't believe in you more than you believe in yourself. Let's go. I'm out of here. Be blessed. Bye.
