Oh, what's up? What's up?
How are you?
I am so good. How are you?
Awesome.
Thank you for kicking off the very first call today on goal setting Monday.
So tell everybody your name, Tell everybody where you're from.
And then this rock and roll.
So I'm Melissa Williams. I'm out of Arizona, Tempe, Arizona. And I own a signing service. So I'm so excited for that. Yeah.
So, Melissa, are you. Are you a loan signing system student? Oh, my God, I hope everybody heard that. Owner of a signing service. Girl, I am so proud of you. There's so many LSS students who are scaling this business to the roof. So tell me where you.
I mean, where can I help you? Are you stuck?
What kind of problems? Talk to me, girl.
I'm so proud of you.
So it's just, again, getting over that hump, you know, of. And I know I have to go back a little bit and, like, just remember that, you know, it's just gonna take repeat, you know, because it's like a relationship. You go in, say hi, introduce yourself, and then it's following up. But it's when I'm following up, I'm just getting snagged where it's like, well, no, I told you last time. We use so and so signing service, you know, Or I offer a launch and it's like, oh, we don't need that. You know, it's fine. Or just getting over that, you know? So, yeah, maybe you can help me.
Yeah.
First off, I'm so proud of you. It's two things I want to touch base on. Okay? I'm against the X's and O's, but let's talk about a little bit of the mindset here, right? You know, whenever I have students like you who built successful individual signing agent businesses, they go to the signing service part of the industry, and they almost want the signing service to build quicker than their old individual notary public loan signing agent business. And that's not true. You have to be as patient with your signing service as you were when you first started.
The problem is become a little bit.
Impatient because, look, we're already making 10 grand a month, 15 grand a month. We already have.
We have taste of success.
So it's really hard to put ourselves back into the shoe of a beginning signing agent. So that's the first thing you have to do. So the first thing you have to do is to be like, look, I'm building another part of my business. You're trying to overcome a current relationship. They have with the signing service. When you first started your signing agent business, you had to overcome the relationship they had with their current signing agent. So it's just another step of the journey. So it's another part of you just being patient and remembering it might take me three months to break in because it took me three months to get into their office when I was just an individual. Notary public loan signing agents. That makes sense.
Yeah.
So you're not alone with the LSS students trying to scale. They get a little frustrated. It's not going as quick. And so what I tell all you students is remember what it took to start your current business. So just get yourself in that mindset. Right, that. So that's coaching number one. It's almost more of a coaching mindset that I want to get you back in there.
Look, how long did it take you.
To make 10k with your individual signing business? How many months?
Four, four or five months.
Okay, so it might take you four to five months to get your signing service off the ground. Does that make sense? You're doing yourself a disjustice by assuming your signing service should get off the ground in. In 30 or 60 days when your first business did it take you 30 to 60 days? You just told me it took four to five months. So my question is, why are you expecting your signing service to launch in 30, 60, 90 days when your first part of your business didn't do that make sense? It does. So just be patient, just like you worked your first one. So that was the first part of my coaching. The X's and O's of it is, you know, remember they've had a relationship with the signing service prior to trying to transfer to you. Okay? So the first thing I would tell you is make sure when you're going in on the follow up, it's not a hard sell. It's just a. It's Melissa again. Hope you're having a great week. Here's lunch. Have a blessed week. I'm out. There's no a. Use my signing service. Use my signing service in that conversation because at this point, because here's the thing I want you to hear and I hope all my students trying to schedule or trying to scale. Excuse me. To assigning service. Hear me? Okay, so you ready for us? Melissa, I want you to wrap your head around this. The hardest reason to go from a signing agent individual to a signing service owner is you have to learn to transfer your mindset from a solopreneur to an entrepreneur. The reason it's so hard. Easy to build a signing service. I mean individual signing agent is because everything's due to your effort. Right. There's no other people. I'm, I'm putting my feet down and I'm pounding the pavement with a signing service. You're now becoming a business owner, becoming an entrepreneur versus a solopreneur. So there's some mindset things that have to change. Does that make sense? Yeah. So the first part of it when you're running a business is realize it's much more about relationships than I can execute a signing for you. So that's why when you walk into the signing agent Astro officers, it should be more of a surface level relationship building conversation.
A end of the month here. Oh my gosh.
Have a great end of the month. Just want to get you some Starbucks. I know you need that caffeine, caffeine.
I'm out.
There's no conversation about the business. Does that make sense? So when you're walking in, trying to bring them lunch like you are, it's a conversation of simply, hey, hope you're.
Gonna have a great week this week.
You need anything, I'm here. And that's it. Like you're. That, that's the max you do in that conversation. And then I want you to remember it took you four to five months to scale your business. So it might take you four to five months to scale your signing service business. So it's more of a relationship building when you're building your signing service than it is, oh, I'm willing to go 90 miles. I'm going to work at 6am I want to do it 12 o' clock, midnight. That's really effective as an individual signing agent, but as a notary public loan signing service owner, it's more really focusing on building relationships and not trying to see somebody as a source of revenue. Does that make sense?
It does, it does.
So there's really nothing to overcome outside of Just be patient and treat more of an authentic human relationship. And, and you'll see your, you'll see them give you a chance. Does that make sense?
Yes.
So consistency, patience is my big coaching. I'm proud of you, girl. Anything else I can help you with today?
Not right now, but I will reach out. Thank you so much.
Have a great welcome. And then don't forget, if you're getting anything else, girl, just DM me. I got you.
All right. Thank you.
All right, let's go. Everybody heard that she is starting her signing service. She's such a successful notary public Loan signing agent.
She's now become a signing service owner. Like I, anyone can do this business. I'm so proud of you, Melissa.
Be blessed. Have a good week. Bye.
Follow the course.
So, you know, I think the biggest, the biggest piece of advice that I.
Could give you on that or the biggest takeaway, excuse me, you know, if we're talking to my notary public loan signing agents who are trying to scale to a signing service is remember how long it took you to get from, you know, $0 to 10,000 with your individual notary public loan signing agent business and understand that it might take the same duration when you're trying to scale to a full blown signing service. But a lot of times you come in almost a little bit too arrogant, almost a little too confident. Like, look, I've already started a 10 to $15,000 a month business. The next part of my business should be right now, right now, right now. And we got to take ourselves out of that mindset and be like, look, I'm starting over. I'm becoming an entrepreneur. Stealing from a solopreneur. And there's a difference between being a solopreneur and an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur is more about relationships, more about connecting, getting them to really realize the human part of you and understand that, you know, you have a team that you're going to need to rely on at some point. And so really connecting emotionally with a personal relationship is really the key to scaling. And when. For those who have the signing service course that I give, you know, don't forget about the script, which is different for signing service owners and it is for individual signing agents. So for those who have the next level course trying to build a signing service, remember the script that's in there for signing services because it changes drastically when you're trying to sell a signing service versus notary public loan, signing agent, individual signing agent business.
So what a great conversation to kick off. Everyone is inspired by that. All right, let me go. Remember, when I, when I jump on with you, please be prepared as I.
Want to try to give everybody a chance today.
Who is next? Let's go with Benita. Okay, Benita, you are up. So I'm so excited, so excited to.
Help you guys today. This is gonna be a great day. What a way to kick off today's goal setting with someone who's so successful they're building a signing service.
If you're watching this, that is the.
Growth of this business. What makes this business amazing is so, so many other businesses that you can't scale into Passive income. You can't scale into a seven figure business or more. Being a notary public loan signing agent, once you get good at doing loan signings and you can hire out other notaries. And that's the beautiful part about this business. So if you're in the beginning stages of your business of being a notary public loan signing agent, be, be inspired by Melissa because you can get there where you're making money off of other notaries just with the effort that you're doing. So you could be on vacation making money, you could be at a signing making money from another signing. And that's the power of owning a signing service.
And for you that are ready for.
It, I do have a signing service course called Next level Notary. But that's what makes this industry great, is that you can really scale to a point where it's passive.
Okay, so I'm trying to get people on, but people are not accepting. So you are been if you're asking.
Yourself to come on, I'm trying to get you on. Make sure that you are hitting or watching or paying attention to the fact.
Oh, okay. Girl pulled over. Be safe.
You know, I didn't think you were gonna accept my, my request.
Girl, this, you know, you know I come first come first serve you hit. I'm just waiting till you come up, so, so talk to me. Where are you from?
What's your name? Sorry, I only know you by your Instagram name.
Where are you from?
And then please be safe, be safe, be safe.
My name is Darcy. I'm from New York, Bronx, New York. But I'm in right now currently in the military. And I'm also doing my first time in the loan signing stuff. So I just got my notary license. So I'm like brand new to it. So I'm just inquiring about all, all this stuff and listening and I see your page and you're doing an awesome job. Thank you. And I'm just following you. That's all I wanted to say.
Well, I think you said your name was Darcy, right? Okay, Darcy Mark. So nice to meet you, girl.
Let me say from me the deepest of my hearts, thank you for your service. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Everybody else please in the comments say thank you for your service. Gets an amazing what you're doing for our country.
So what I would tell you number two is on my YouTube page I.
Have videos of students who are currently serving in the military making money part time. So be inspired by it.
Okay, Number two, try to pull over so we can get you saved, girl. And I don't want to lose the cell connection either because cell connection is phenomenal. Okay, so. Okay, cool. So you know. I know. So my best piece of advice is.
For someone who's a brand new notary looking into this industry is, you know, so the best piece of advice I can tell you is pick a notary public loan signing agent trainer that you vibe with. I am not the only person doing signing agent training out there, but what I don't want for you is go down the rabbit hole, research, spend money on things that you didn't need to spend money on taking them, not learning from other people's mistakes. And so the biggest mistake you could do is keep researching. What you need to do is figure.
Out who do I vibe with whose.
Personality is great because I will never talk down about an upload signing agent trainer.
I think every notary public loan signing.
Agent trainer is amazing.
I think they all bring their level.
Of experience to their students.
I would love to.
Have you as a student. Hopefully you like my personality. But that is the best piece of advice I can give you is don't go at this business by yourself. Pick a trainer that you resonate with and just copy what they tell you. We have student. I personally have students in Virginia, students in the Bronx. I got students everywhere. So the point of me saying that is, you know, I'll network you with other newer notaries so you can have an accountability partner so that you can get along with somebody's like, oh, no.
I'm having a bad day.
Who can I bounce some. Bounce some stuff off of? Who can I share my wins with? So what makes my course amazing is, you know, the community itself. I'm just a small part of a bunch of amazing notaries, but that's my advice too.
I mean, so you can do this.
Around your military schedule. I have students who are currently active duty and are working around their schedule of the military, so it is doable. But, girl, I'm excited for you, man, so much.
Is there any other questions I can ask you while.
While you got me on here?
You good?
That's it. I'm just gonna continue listening to your life, but thank you so much.
And then feel free to always DM.
Me if you have anything else.
Okay. Okay.
Thank you.
And then thank you for your service so, so much. Bye. Oh, my gosh. I love the fact that we can.
Help women and men of our military if you are currently active, you're a veteran. Thank you so much for your service. I'm In San Diego. We're a huge military town. So if you're an active duty or you're a veteran, thank you so much for doing what you do for our country.
Okay, who is up next? All right, once you're on, make sure please pull over. Be safe. All right, let me try Mike one more time. Mike, you are. Pablo, what's going on, man? So proud of you, Pablo, what you're doing? All right, Mike, it looks like I'm. Three times I've tried you, my friend. All right, you got to make sure you're up, Mike. I've tried you four times, man. All right, let's go to.
I think her name is Alondra.
I hit accept.
Make sure you're able to hit accept. Make sure your WI FI connection is good.
Alondra, what's up?
Yay. Thank you so much for picking me. I've been trying for the last three times.
Okay, girl, I got you. Okay, so say your name.
Where are you from? And any questions?
Yes, I will be brief because I know it's a time crushing. Okay, so my name is Alondra. Oh, God, I'm nervous. Okay.
I'm here as long as you need.
So my name is Alondra. I'm a single mom. I'm a real estate agent, too. I started the course back in March, but I barely got my actual credentials until September. It took a long time, but that's a long story. Why Covid? I don't know. I got lost in the mail. Whatever. The point is, I kind of did it backwards. And I'm so nervous that I know you keep saying real estate agents, they just want to kind of, like, hit the ground running. And I did it backwards. I quit my job before I even have signings. The reason why is because I just. I'm also a real estate agent, and I just. I only been an agent for a year and only had one transaction. And honestly, it was by luck, but it is a long story. So then I thought to myself, I'm never going to be a realtor if I don't dedicate myself more time just like any other business, like you say all the time. I. This is a business. This is not a hobby. Right? So then I thought to myself, maybe notary will be the supplement to my. To be my career in real estate. I'm doing it the opposite. I know, but I quit my job. I had savings to support myself for four months. Well, six months. But time went by fast, and I got my credentials on September 11th. So just a month ago, about A month ago.
Well, before that.
Let me jump in. Let me jump in real quick.
Okay, so what I heard was somebody where. You know, it's amazing what happens, what we're capable of when our backs against the wall, right? I mean, you quit your job, you're all in. What I heard, too, is someone who is a realtor. So what that tells me is someone who's not afraid to say hello, someone who's not afraid to network, someone who's not afraid of putting in a little bit of hard work. Because like you said, I understand, Mark, that this is a business. So what I love about you, your mindset's already there. So, you know, as a. As an LSS student, let me just kind of tell you what the next steps are. The hardest thing for me to teach is, you know, people get past their nerves in their comfort zone. But you're a realtor, so that tells me that you're not afraid to network. So girls, start networking. So what you should be doing right now is what part of the country are you in?
California.
Okay, so we're in California. Where?
Riverside, California.
That's the I.E.
So I. E. Is huge, right? So what you should be doing is googling San Bernardino real estate networking events, Redlands networking events, Loma Linda networking events, Riverside networking events. And what you need to start having lists of different real estate network events and start going to them. Like if you know, if you have time and you have. Because you don't have a job, like, the best way, you don't get what you don't ask for.
I'm telling you a little bit different.
I would tell another notary public loan signing agent student because you have the realtor background. You're not afraid of saying yes and no. You're not afraid of saying, hey, I'm laundry. I'm a realtor. Hey, I'm a laundry. I'm a notary public loan signing agent. So your job is you got to get out there. That's the job. That's the motivation, inspiring. That I need to tell you right now. It's because I tell you what to say. But nobody can hire you, alondra if they don't know you're a signing agent. So the next step is to simply start writing down different networking events. You can go to open houses, start googling title offices, and Riverside, San Bernardino, IE I mean, shoot, go up to Lake Arrowhead, go up to Big Bear, wherever you got to go to get the business. But the number thing, the number one thing I tell you is right now it's all about action. Go on.
So sometimes I just want to cry because I don't know if I made the right stuff. But it's already done. So what you know. But I want to say something. The, the reason of the call in the Monday goal setting is because I don't know how to stay and task. And you, you said you believe on the business to go all in and not halfway.
Yep.
But I just wonder like, because notary is related to real estate, like this is what I. What can I not like schedule an hour of my doing my prospecting on real estate and set us aside for not one signing or two signings a day?
Okay, so I keep. Okay, so let me just jump in real quick. Okay.
So first and foremost, like the key to being not overwhelmed or having anxiety is action. Right. So the first thing I hear someone is a little bit like torn, which.
Way do I want to go?
But what I'm hearing is someone where analysis equals paralysis. So the best way to cure anxiety is action. The best way to cure being overwhelmed is in the doing. Does that make sense? So what I need you to stop doing after this phone call, after this conversation is stop with the busy work. Stop with, look, I cannot get a signing. I cannot become a real estate agent if people don't know I'm a realtor. So the first thing I want to let you know is you need to start time blocking. Watch the mentorship in the inside the course on exactly how I time block. But to give you and everyone on here some advice is time blocking is nothing more than I wake up at eight, I drop my son or daughter off at School at 8:30. So from 8:30 to 10am I'm working on my notary public loan signing agent business. From 10am to 12, I'm working on my realtor business. From 12 to 2, I'm working on my notary public loan signing agent business. From 2 to 4, I'm picking up my son or daughter and from 4 to 6 I'm having family time. From 6 to 8, I'm going out to networking events. So you have to do time blocking. That's the answer.
What was, what was the name of the video for? Time blocking.
Yeah, so just Google. Just Google. I mean not Google, but in the Facebook group or the course go to it. It's called how I time block is literally what it's called. But really very simply put though to you is time blocking is really a matter of 10 to 12. I'm doing this and nothing else.
That is the goal 10 to 12.
I'm working on my notary business. From 12 to I'm working on my realtor business. From 2 to 4, I'm working on my family. From 4 to 6, I'm with my whatever. But you have to time block your time. But the bigger key in time blocking is still pointless if you don't have action. Okay, so action cures anxiety. Everybody hears me on that. So many people are overwhelmed with what's next. What's next is do something now. Because momentum creates momentum, Alondra. Like when you go to your first realtor networking event, you're like, dude, that was easy. Let me go to two more. It's the action that releases our having anxiety. So the cure to anxiety is action. No matter what we do in life, we overthink. We overthink. So the more time we put something aside, the more that story grows in our narrative and more grows in our brain and become more. More anxiety. We have more overwhelm this where action cures anxiety. So no matter where you are in your journey, Alondra or anybody watching is you have to take that first step because the longer it festers in our mind, the longer it's we think about the more anxiety we get, the more we want to cry, the more we feel overwhelmed. And literally the cure to anxiety is action. So make sure that you just take action no matter what that is. I don't care if it's as small as just making a list of title companies. Right. I don't care if it's as small as, you know, picking up the phone and calling one of your escrow officer, you did your one signing, your one real estate closing with. But you gotta do and have action because that cures your anxiety. And this is a piece of advice for anything in life. You have to start it and then you'll realize that my what I was thinking, my head made it a bigger deal than it really was. Does that make sense?
Yeah. So I this is a great advice about the time blocking because that's what I need. The action is to the time blocking because the action towards getting business. I'm not afraid. I want to share that with you guys. I was door knocking. Literally door knocking in a neighborhood for real estate. Yes.
Yeah.
I ended up meeting a lender that we had a conversation for 10 minutes. That lender, the same day as I'm walking on the streets, on the neighborhood, text me and say. Because I say, oh, by the way, I'm also a notary and you. And then he text me When I'm still door knocking, he said, I'm going to hook you up with my mother in law that owns a escrow business. And I said, thank you so much.
Let me kind of wrap up with.
This is the time. Blocking will change everything, but I'm going to end with this. Okay. I hope everybody hears me on this. Momentum creates momentum. So what do I mean by that? See, we have to be aware enough of when momentum starts. So a lot of times signing agents.
Like, oh my God, Mark, I went.
To my first open house and I got a signing. So I go, well, how come we haven't gone to five more open houses? Momentum creates momentum.
So if you know that door knocking.
And networking works, what should you tell yourself that you need to be doing the next day?
Keep doing it.
Door knocking. Because it already worked for you, right? But the problem is you door knock, you get a lead and you don't do anything else and you let your momentum die.
It goes, I'm like, oh my God.
Does that make sense? So when the moment you find hope, everybody hears me on this. The moment you find something that works.
Your job is to go all in.
On that as momentum creates momentum. My favorite analogy is working out or losing weight, right? You go on a diet for a week. At the end of the first week you are like, I just lost a pound.
What? And so what do you do the next week?
You eat a little bit better, you go to the gym again more.
And then the second week you are.
Like, I lost five pounds. So what you do the third week, you're letting momentum create momentum. Does that make sense? So bring that back to business, girl. You door knocked.
You got a lead.
Why don't you door knocking more? Your job is when something works, go all in on it. Does that make sense? So as you start networking and start going out, when you time block, your job along, right? Is like, oh my gosh, that worked. Like let's say for instance, Alondra, you use the script in the course, right? And you found that one of the sentences in the script was profound to someone.
Your job to say that sentence again.
And see if it was a fluke or if it really did work. See, that's momentum creating momentum. Does that make sense? So you have to keep. So all marketing is, is testing philosophies and ideas and then once something works, go all in on it. Does that make sense? Yes. So just remember, momentum creates momentum. Anxiety. Action cures anxiety. Girl, time block, go build this business and hit me up if you need anything at all.
Okay, thank you. Thank you.
All right.
Time blocking is the key. Thank you.
Oh, my gosh. I'm so glad I talked to a lot because I really feel I helped.
That should help everybody who watched that conversation. You know, action cures anxiety. So often the inaction makes our minds create amount molehill out of a mountain.
We go, oh, my gosh, this gets.
Bigger, and the mountain gets bigger and bigger and bigger. When all we needed to do was have action before this narrative in our head becomes so big that we get overwhelmed and we want to cry. Right. I can empathize with that. But the moment you have a narrative in your head, you need to have action to stop that narrative. Like, wow, that wasn't that hard at all. So action cures anxiety. You got to go all in, work on whatever is in your head, and you realize that, wow, that wasn't as bad as I thought it was.
So what a great conversation.
Let's go to somebody else.
Let's go to where are my gentlemen today? I don't have any gentlemen on here. All right, next up, who hit invite? Let's go with Susie.
You are Action cures anxiety. I'm so happy that that resonated with you, Christine, because that's. That's really the truth. What happens is we have these conversations in our head, or we call them narratives, and the narrator gets bigger and bigger and bigger, and that prevents us from taking action. So as soon as we have a narrative comes in her head.
Oh, what's up?
Oh, hi.
Hi.
I'm good. How are you?
Okay, so tell us your name, where.
You'Re from, and let's get the conversation going.
Oh, I'm Susie Kelby, and I'm from Rancho Cucamonga, and I've been doing the loan signing since February of this year. I really like it. I'm signed up with different escrow companies, and I like to do the refinance because I negotiate my price because I deliver. And I've been watching your live programs, and they're really interesting, and I've learned a lot from you, and I've taken a lot of notes from you and screenshots as well.
I love it.
I love it.
So you're not a loan signing system student yet?
No, no, no.
I already did that.
Cool. So what, we're going to help you then today, girl. This is goal setting.
I would like to sign up with more companies. I feel like it's very competitive, and I feel like we're a pool of notary public loan signing agents that have to beat the other ones to the email, you know, And I was listening to earlier how you said that it's good to have that business where other people are making money for you, you know? And you're gonna find out.
I heard something I need a coach on. Oh. Everyone hears this.
Okay.
You know, it's a very uneducated. And you're a loan signing system student girl. So I implore you to go back into the course and watch what you paid for. I implore you to go in and still watch those signing service trainings. We have one this Thursday from a signing service owner out in Tampa, Florida. And there. And so what I teach you has nothing to do with speed. Zero.
Okay.
That's an uneducated way of seeing it. You have to understand that. You have to understand that signing services see you when you hit accept.
Okay.
I don't do a speed. If you want a signing service. Okay. If you own a signing service.
Mm.
And you saw five people all had accepted the same time, what would you be looking for?
You own the signing service. Think about that from the owner of.
A signing service perspective.
Okay.
Five notary public loan signing agents all hit accept. What would you be looking for?
I'd probably be looking to see if they. How much the. I mean, what the experience is.
Okay, cool.
Experience or signing orders completed, right?
Yeah. So we look for how many they've completed.
So does speed have anything to do with that?
No, it doesn't.
Okay, so.
So your loan sign is a student.
I don't want you saying, oh, I'm not quick enough.
You just. I just taught you right now. Which is in the course has nothing to a speed. They see you hit accept. Right?
Right.
So what are they looking for before they assign it?
They. They could be looking for that or the. The one who responds the quickest because. Okay, it's like. I get it.
Hold on.
Hold.
Okay.
The person response the quickest has 25 signings. Why would they just give it to 25 signings versus waiting for someone else who has 150?
Would you do that?
Do they see it right away?
Would you. Hold on. Hold on. Would you do that?
What would you do if you own the signing service?
I would give it a lot. I would give it just a little.
Bit to do with speed. Yeah, you just said it has nothing.
To do with speed at all.
There's so many different things that go on picking a notary, signings completed reviews or errors, location to the signing. You know, they send it out to, you know, 20 miles around the location. A notary is 20 miles away. Or maybe they're waiting for a notary that's two miles away. There's a lot of criteria. Has nothing to do with speed. Nothing.
But why does. When I hit accept, sometimes it just right away it says it was given to someone else within.
Yeah. As they looked at your credentials, they didn't like what they see and they hit the client. That's it.
Really?
Yeah. You own a signing service. What would you do.
Now?
I would look to see. I would look to see how much experience they have and how many.
Well, my point is.
And you.
The point I'm trying to teach you is there be. There would be different reasons on why you had accept or hit decline for someone. Whether not to be numerous reasons.
Oh, okay.
Does that make sense?
It does make sense. Okay, it does make sense.
So remember, you're a loan signing system girl student. Like you got to be more educated than this. And this is your coach speaking.
Okay.
Go back into the course. Watch the videos on why notary public loan signing agents are picked over another one. Literally this Thursday, we have a training with a signing agent with a signing service owner who will teach you that. We've had 10 signing service owner trainings this month. I mean this year. Excuse me, this year. How come you're not watching them? How come you're not watching them?
How come I'm not watching?
Yes.
I just got back online.
Well, so.
So maybe the reason I just got back online.
So maybe the reason you're not scaling your business is you're not putting value into education that you paid for.
Yeah.
Remember, when you're a business or. I hope I'm talking to everybody here.
Yeah, yeah.
When you're a business owner, you need to focus on your education as much a lot of times signing agents as you. Let's use a workout analogy, right? Sometimes January 1st hits and everyone just goes back to the gym. They're not working out. Better because they haven't asked them to teach me how to work out. You're just working out without a plan. Even though you paid for a physical trainer.
That's me.
But you're not watching it, girl. So if your business isn't where you.
Want to be, and I'm talking to.
Everybody here, especially system students, if you're.
Not watching, you have direct access to.
Owners of signing service services. You should be asking them how come you pick one notary over another that's included. I'm not charging you extra money.
Yeah, but if you're just gonna sit back and make oh, I'm not quick.
Enough but not get your questions answered. Yeah, that's why you're not building a business.
Okay.
Building a business based off of education. When you're working out, the person who has the best workout program usually loses the weight the quickest. Fair enough.
Right, Right.
Okay. You're trying to work out without a.
Trainer, but you paid one girl, you paid me.
Yeah.
You got to go in and watch those.
Yeah, okay, I will.
So my, my, my, my coaching for you today. And I can't give away all the.
Secrets of what the sign tell you over this, but my point is, is you know, they signing service owners teach you specifically how they pick notaries, what they look for, what should your profile say and read, what kind of conversations do they need? That's all on the course, but you.
Got to watch it.
And then if you have other questions on Thursday, you should be going in the zoo. It's a live Zoom training for free and you should be, hey, this, this and this happened. How can I get the signing next time? So I bring the signing service owners to you.
Okay.
You need to questions. Does that make sense? Yeah. So my, my coaching for you today.
My.
This is goal setting Mondays. Go back into the course, okay. And start watching more of the information you paid for.
Okay.
It would be like getting upset with the physical trainer. You're not losing weight, but never go to the physical training.
Right, right, right.
And that's.
Just rewatch them.
That's right. And then there's new content every.
Every week, every other week at the.
Minimum, brand new content for you to watch, which is included in what you get. But girl, just like the person who loses the most weight goes to the gym. Like you got to go to the mental gym. The mental gym is listening to signing service owners, watching all the materials, getting on the zoom meetings with them. How can I make my profile better? What are you looking for? I just talked to you right now has nothing to do with speed. It has zero. Like you wouldn't if you owned a signing service. You wouldn't pick the first person who hit accept. Like, that makes no sense, right? Like, right?
No, it doesn't. It doesn't make no sense.
Makes zero sense.
But learning why, what makes your profile better than another notary public loan signing agent. What should I do? What should I say when I call them up? There's so many different opportunities for signing, but girl, you got to watch what you're paying for. You know what I mean?
All right, so your goal setting Monday.
Is get back on the Course watch those go in the mentorship and business coaching course course player. All the signing service owner trainings are there at your leisure. And then we have another live one that I'm going to announce today. Okay. Today for you to sign up, but you got to go to your mental gym. That's called watching.
You said business service. What?
So there's business two course players.
There's two course players on your dashboard.
Okay?
So the mentorship and business coach.
Okay.
Is the one you need to watch.
Okay.
And get to that mental gym girl.
All right.
Thank you so much.
I'm glad you jumped on today.
Me too.
I'm glad you picked me because I.
Just learned something awesome.
Be blessed. I'm here if you need anything. Okay.
Be blessed as well.
Okay.
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much. Okay. I love that conversation. Right? I mean, I thought those are very powerful conversation, you know, you know, whether you are part of the loan signing system community or you have follow another notary public loan signing agent trainer, your job is to go all in on your, your mentors trainings. You know, too many times, signing agents will go through the course one time and never open up that course again. So, you know, whoever you are following and whatever system that you are going with, make sure you're going back in and back in and rewatching materials. Here's a truth true statistic. You ready? They say, depending on what research you follow, they say that we're only able to retain 10 to 12% of whatever we watch, see, or hear the first time. So let me give you an example. How many of us have ever finished a book?
And then we're like, so what was in chapter one again? It wasn't that you didn't read chapter one. It's just that we can only retain so much information.
So the best thing I can tell you is go to your mental gym.
Go back to the courses, go back.
To the investing in your time into the education that you paid for. You know, if you're a loan signing system community member, you know, we have live change with signing or service owners every other Thursday. You should be on there.
If you're like, I can't get the notifications quick enough. How come I'm not getting up notifications? What am I doing wrong?
Well, I give you the people who hire signing agents so you can ask them those very questions. So you should never be discouraged.
You should always be like, okay, I'm.
A little bit slow this week. I can't seem to get the notifications assigned to me. So what am I doing wrong? Well, I'm giving you signing service owners you can ask those very questions to. I'm giving you these trainings but you have to time block your mental gym. Just like you time block going to the gym, you got a time block going back to these trainings that I provide you and take the time to learn and read it and rewatch them again. Even if you're not a loan signing system student, I implore you to do this whatever trainer that you're going with. All the trainers out there are amazing, but you got to take the time to go back to the mental gym every day and feed your brain.
Let's go. All right. I think today has been absolutely phenomenal by the way. So let's keep going on.
Who can we get up here next?
Every single one of these conversations, I.
Think I've been absolutely amazing. All right, let's go to Charay. Charay, where's my girl Sheree? I think that is her name. She just.
Oh no, there she is. So I hope you're enjoying this if you're brand new. My name was Mark Wills. I teach notary public loan signing agents.
How to make money as notary signing agents in this amazing business. I teach the marketing, I teach the how to. I teach the mindset, I teach the inspiration. I motivate you to get y' all build a business.
Let's go. Alright, so who else?
Okay, I try to get Sharia.
No go. All right, who else is.
I'm trying to go first come, first serve.
Let me go with, Let me see if I can get Ms. Danielle Mills up here. Danielle Mills. Let's see if she get Danielle Mills. Oh, the one and only Danielle Mills. Now if you're not a loan signing.
System student, you may not know who this amazing woman is, but this amazing, amazing woman is the ambassador of the DMV group. She owns her own signing service.
She was a speaker at the loan signing system conference on stage with 1200 notary public loan signing agents. So girl, how you doing?
I'm good. I just wanted to chime in because I just want everybody to know everything that you're saying as far as going back and re listening and re reading and reviewing everything. I'm in my third year as a notary public loan signing agent. Only my first year as a signing service owner. I still go back and listen and read everything. I look at stuff from two years ago. It doesn't matter because you're always learning. You have to keep, you just have to keep refreshing that in your mind? Because sometimes we forget, like you said, we're like, we're just going and going and then something happens and you're like, why is this happening this way? Or why isn't it working out the way I thought it would? It's probably usually always something you need to do. So I need to go back and say, okay, Danielle, go revisit this video. I'm on these trainings too, as much as I can be. And then also when the other signing services are on live, I try to be on them too, because I'm. I'm always a student. I don't care if I've been doing this 30 years. I'm always a student.
Oh, girl, I am so proud of you.
I am so. I mean, I mean, look, this is.
From one six figure notary public loan signing agent to another is, you know, you realize that the most successful people are always the best students.
But Dean Money, I appreciate that, nugget.
But girl, you got me live right now.
Let's talk about something. Is there anything that I can help you with?
You know, as you're building out and scaling your signing service business, is there any nuggets or anything you want to bounce off me live in front of a couple hundred notary public loan signing agents that can possibly grow your business?
Not necessarily to grow my business. I actually jumped on because of the young lady that was speaking about. She was going, it's too slow. Like, she's too slow. We don't care anything about speed. Like you said, we don't care anything about speed. We look at like, nobody cares about speed. It's your profile. What's in your profile, all the stuff you have in your. In your course of what your profile should say, what stands out to us, Things of that nature. I am scaling based on a conversation you and I already had.
Oh.
One thing I do want to say is thank you for reminding me that starting your signing service is like starting over.
Yes.
Because I had no arrogance with what I had accomplished as a notary public loan signing agent. But I did initially feel like starting the signing service was going to be, oh, so much easier because I've already done this. That is so not the case. You'll have to work just as hard.
I love it.
Well, you know, I'll end with this, okay.
To try to help you kind of scale your signing service business. You know. You know, I told this almost same piece of advice for Kathy Vidal, who's also trying to scale her business. And so you know what? I'll say to you, and I don't know if you heard that on the Instagram live that I did a few weeks ago, but Kathy jumped on it and she said, well, Mark, you know, I'm finding a little problem in keeping motivation right. It's the same day, gets a little monotonous, a little routine, right. Because you've been building this business for three years, and it's almost like, okay.
Well, I get what I got to.
Do, but, like, how do I stay inspired to do it? Right, You've been doing it for three years, and frankly, you might do it might take you another year of doing the same kind of building and farming that you did. And so you know what I. What I want to tell you, Dee, to help you stay motivated and inspired, because I think all signing agents, once you reach a certain level of income, it almost becomes repetitious and almost comes mundane for lacking better work. Yeah. And so, you know, when I tell you, I know that you have big family goals that are coming up here is, you know, reverse engineer your goals, right? So, you know, if you want your signing service to provide you $10,000 a month in passive income, right. You want to walk away from signing. So what you need to do is be like, okay, so if I want to make $10,000 a month at end the passive income, right. That means I probably need to have three schedulers making these numbers up, right? You might have to have three schedulers. I need X amount of signings.
Then you can figure out, well, I need to do about $175,000 in total revenue.
The $175,000 in total revenue equals roughly, you know, 700 signings a month. My signing service needs to be doing. In order to get 700 signing services a month, I roughly need to get 15 escrow officers. 15 escrow officers give me 40. So reverse engineer it. And then you have an inspiration of what you need to go after. Okay, Right. So now you're not going after. After escrow officers, like, just like.
Like a duck putting their feet underwater.
I feel like that sometimes.
That's right. Yeah. You know, you're. And it almost gets a little bit uninspiring.
Yes.
Yeah.
So the way to keep inspired is reverse engineer those goals. Be like, okay, Mark, my goal is to make ten grand a month passive. I don't want to do anything. Make six figures a year, but then start running those numbers out, right? Take those numbers. Or do you and you and your.
Other half and be like, okay, you.
Know, it's $120,000 break that down. You know, after taxes, to get 10 grand a month, I then need to do this to divide that by signings, Take the signings, divide that by escrow officers.
Then you're like, okay, cool.
So according to my reverse engineering, I have to get 15 escrow officers. Now you're no longer running around aimlessly. Does that make sense?
Oh, my gosh, yes. Thank you.
You're so welcome. So now you're like, okay, cool. I got three out of the 15 that I need to get to my 10 grand a month passive.
So now every day you're like, okay.
I need four more. You're like, babe, I got another one, babe. Seven more. And that kind of keeps you juiced?
It does, yes.
Good. 100%. So this today, over the next week.
Yes.
Kind of start reverse engineering some of those goals and numbers.
I will.
And then you can start realizing how big you need to grow your client base. And now you'll be re inspired.
Like, oh, my gosh, we're almost there. You know, and have a little check mark box.
Okay, I need 12.
I got eight. Boom, boom, boom.
Dee, thank you for jumping on. And I hope everyone's inspired by Danielle.
Danielle has an on the road.
If you haven't watched her on the road, it's inspiring. Danielle is not one of those signing agents where she made six months after the first year. It took her a while to build. She stuck with it. Now she owns a signing service.
D money. I appreciate you, girl. Bye. Oh, my gosh, what an amazing.
I hope everyone really got some value out of that.
Because even if I think if you.
Are newer notary public loan signing agent.
And even if you're like, let's say.
A six figure notary public loan signing agent, or you're making $75,000 a year right now, Reverse engineering your goals is one of the best way to keep yourself invigorated. You're one of the best ways to figure out, oh, my gosh, you know, how do I keep doing the same thing every day in and out? And the answer is reverse engineer your goals.
Realize what you got to do to.
Get your goals and get juice every day to build to your goal.
So, wow, what an amazing conversation with the one and only Danielle. Again, if you know part of the loan signing system community.
Danielle is loan signing system royalty.
So glad I was able to talk.
To her and help you guys through some of your conversations.
Okay, so let's go with. I'm gonna try one more time, Mikey. One more time. Mike, you are up. If you can jump on. I know. He's been trying so hard to get on this live. All right, let's go with someone else.
Doesn't seem like Mike's able to get on live with me.
Let's go with Jessica.
She's been on here for a minute.
Jessica, are you there? Jessica, I want you to jump on.
We got time for one more notary public loan signing agent to go on live with me. All right, try to get Jessica on there. That didn't work out so hot. Let's try to get Jaspreet. Jaspreet.
Where's Mars?
Jaspreet.
Hopefully I'm saying that name right.
Jaspreet, try to get you on.
So excited you're here. We got about 10 more minutes. We got a Joe. Jaspreet. What's up?
Hi. How about you give me a second?
Yeah, girl, I, I, I, I respect the multitasking, you know what I mean? You got there, you're doing dishes, you're jumping on what is up.
Oh my God.
So why don't you tell everybody your.
Name, where you're from and let's have a conversation.
I'm good. So, hi everyone. My name is Jaspreet Kaur. I was not knowing that I will be live as soon as possible. So how are you doing?
Good. I'm good.
So what part of the country do you live?
I am in California, usa. And I'm in San Francisco, part of the California and it's a small city called San Lorenzo. I live there and I just came back with my signing appointment at 11 o' clock in Dublin and I was just preparing my food for my kids who has to come at 2:30pm so yes, I was doing my work in the kitchen.
So you already did one signing today. Okay, cool. So you know, my job to help you kind of build the business.
So any questions, anything you want to bounce off me right now?
Shoot.
Yes, I do, actually. I was planning so one thing for you to know that I've been in contact, contact with a direct company from Chicago, title company. I've been working with them like they are on and off. But it's in a week I get at least 10 signings from them. So I'm okay with that. And one thing I have to just caution you that during this time now, right, I'm doing marketing, direct marketing with my title company and I'm always, you know, getting that same thing that you should be two years of experience and commission. Plus you should get the sponsor from one of your Fidelity national that's what you also told me. I when I, you know reached out to you. So and when I just, you know put it that in the for forum of our private.
Okay, well let me jump in. Let me jump in. We got about seven minutes.
Okay.
Let me tell you, let me help.
You through that situation.
Okay.
So Jaspreet, first off, you're getting direct business. You are crushing it. I love how you can do business in the morning, be with your family for lunch.
Yeah, go back. I mean honestly, this is one of.
The best businesses in America.
Thank you.
Okay, so let me talk about this real quick.
We got about five minutes.
Okay.
Some companies, Chicago other companies require quote unquote, two years of experience. Okay. Yeah, that by the way, you can work around.
Okay.
How can you work around that? You need and bada boom girl, you'll be fidelity approved.
Okay, let me try that. Mark, thank you so much for that, that advice. I will really look forward to it. Let me do it and I will, I will mail you if I get.
Any luck on yeah and then always DM me if you have any questions.
You know, I mean so like what do I do?
You know I got you girl.
Sure.
Thank you.
Congratulations. Bye.
Thank you. Have a nice.
Oh my gosh.
You so welcome.
What an amazing conversation. Look, you know, you know kind of in. We got a few minutes here so.
I'm just going to kind of wrap up with some, some just coaching here for everybody.
Uh, wow.
What an amazing day. We saw people who are starting signing services, scaling signing service, talk to a signing service owner who told you exactly what I told you has nothing to do with speed of hitting except all about how you build your profiles. Everything that I teach you in the loan signing system. So make sure you're working, watching every single thing that you're paying for. So let me end with this is the best thing that you could do is diversify your marketing strategies. A lot of new signing agents just focus on title companies. Now our title companies are cash cow, 100% doctor. However, there's different ways to get into the title companies.
Realtors can write notaries into the contract.
Let me say that one more time. Realtors can write you into this sales purchase agreement via the addendum. So if you create relationships with realtors and if you're a loan signing system student, I teach you how to do that. Just make sure you watch the realtor specific module in the course.
Okay. I teach you step by step how.
To get a realtor to use. You can't give that away. On Instagram right now. But for you students, you know that's in there. So you can get a realtor to write you in the contract. That escrow company has to use you at that point. And now you have a guaranteed in. Now your job to create a relationship, show gratitude, be authentic. Okay. Number two is even if they don't write you into the contract, remember, escrow officers work for the realtors. They work for the lenders. So create a good enough relationship with the lender and realtor and then they can refer you to four or five, six different escrow officers around town. But too many times, signing agents get myopic. I want to go title companies. Want to go title companies. When you can walk into an open house, you can walk into all these different areas to get the business.
And that is the key. Now real quick, I just see Calvin Darvill joined live. Calvin Darvill is the CEO and owner of Closing Signings, Comfort Closings. My bad. He's going to be doing the live trading on Thursday. When I tell you that I bring signing service owners to you, Calvin's going to drop fire. Cal is going to teach you exactly how he picks notaries, what he looks.
For common errors and how to get signing services to use you.
So Calvin, so excited you jumped on live. Calvin is building such a big business down in Tampa.
And if Calvin can do this, at 26 years old, anybody can do this.
And I end every single one of these. Man.
I feel so honored and blessed that you follow the loan signing system page. I do every single thing that I can to help you build a notary public loan signing agent business. Don't hesitate to DM me. Ask me for anything that you need help with. I'm here for every single step of.
The way for your loan signing system students.
Make sure you pay attention to Thursday signing service owner.
CEO Calvin of Comfort Closings will teach you exactly how to get business from.
Signing services common errors.
And he's going to open up to.
A live Q and A. So you can build your signing agent business through the knowledge of signing service owners. Remember, you are brave, you are courageous, you are worthy, you are deserving. The same notary public loan signing agent who makes more money than you is not better than you. They've just made the decision to tell more people they're a notary public loan signing agent than you. Every single new home has to have a notary closed. I believe in you so, so much. I end all these with the same thing. I believe in you, but I just can't Believe in you more than you believe in you.
Let's go. Have a great Monday. Get fired up. Go get it. Remember, people can't hire you if you.
Don'T tell them you're a notary public loan signing agent.
Be blessed, everybody. Bye.
Because I think all signing agents, once you reach a certain level of income, it almost becomes repetitious and almost comes mundane for lack of better work. Yeah.
And so, you know, when I tell.
You, I know that you have big family goals that are coming up here is, you know, reverse engineer your goals, right? So, you know, if you want your signing service to provide you $10,000 a month in passive income, right, you want to walk away from signing. So what you need to do is.
Be like, okay, so if I want.
To make $10,000 a month in passive income, right, that means I probably need to have three schedulers making these numbers up, right? You might have to have three schedulers. I need X amount of signings.
Then you can figure out, well, I'm going to do about $175,000 in total revenue.
The $175,000 in total revenue equals roughly, you know, 700 signings a month. My signing service needs to be doing. In order to get 700 signing services a month, I roughly need to get 15 escrow officers. 15 escrow officers. Give me 40. So reverse engineer and then you have an inspiration to what you need to go after. Okay, right. So now you're not going after. After escrow officers. Like, just like. Like a date, putting their feet under.
Yeah, I feel like that sometimes.
That's right. Yeah. You know, you. And it almost gets a little bit uninspired. Inspiring.
Yes, yes.
So the way to keep inspired is reverse engineer those goals. Be like, okay, Mark, my goal is to make ten grand a month passive. I don't want to do anything. Make six figures a year. But then start running those numbers out, right? Take those numbers. Or do you and you and your other half and be like, okay, you know, it's $120,000. Break that down. You know, after taxes, to get 10 grand a month, I then need to do this to divide that by signings. Take the signings, divide that by escrow officers.
Then you're like, okay, cool.
So according to my reverse engineering, I have to get 15 escrow officers. Now you're no longer running around aimlessly, Right? Does that make sense?
Oh, my gosh, yes. Thank you.
You're so welcome. So now you're like, okay, cool, I got three out of the 15 that I need, right? To get to my 10 grand a month passive.
So now every day you're like, okay.
I need four more. You're like, babe, I got another one, babe, seven more. And that kind of keeps you juice.
It does, yes.
Good. So this today, over the next week.
Yes.
Kind of start reverse engineering some of those goals and numbers, and then you can start realizing how big you need to grow your client base. And now you'll be re inspired.
Like, oh, my gosh, we're almost there. You know, and have a little check mark box.
Okay, I need 12.
I got eight. Boom, boom, boom.
D thank you for jumping on inspired by Danielle.
Danielle has an on the road.
If you haven't watched her on the road, it's inspiring. Danielle is not one of the notary signing agents where she made six months. After the first year, it took her.
A while to build.

A six figure notary public loan signing agent or you're making $75,000 a year right now, reverse engineering your goals is one of the best way to keep yourself invigorated. Realize what you got to do to.
Get your goals, and get juice every day to build through your goal.
So wow, what an amazing conversation with the one and only Danielle. Again, if you know part of the loan signing system community, Danielle is loan signing system royalty. So glad I was able to talk.
To her and help you guys through some of your conversations.
