Hi, I'm Mark. I teach the loan signing system and as promised, a bonus video on the 11 Things Every Notary public loan signing agent should know before they walk into the first appointment number three. You're going to walk into every single loan signing with two sets of loan documents. One set for the borrower to sign and one set for the borrower to keep. So there's always going to be two sets. If you do loan signing service business, understand that you've got to print out two sets of loan documents, one for the borrower to sign, one for the borrower to keep. If you escrow business or do mortgage officer business or real estate agent business, they'll usually give you two sets out of the gate. So you don't need to print them and even worry about it. But just understand that if you do loan signing service business, you've got to have two sets of loan documents. This leads me to topic number four is if there's ever a mistake made, for instance, let's say the borrower miss dates it. Let's say the borrower signs in the wrong spot. The way you solve this problem is not by crossing out initialing a mistake. You find the exact same piece of paper they messed up on in in the copy set that is there for the borrower and you replace it and then you have the borrower sign the clean version. You do not have the borrower cross out initial or they messed up on the piece of paper you've given them to sign. Now let's say they mess up on both, which sometimes happens only at that point you cross out initial. But the cross out is one line and initial, it's not a scribble. So if they've messed up on a date on both pieces of paper, you cross out where they messed up one line, not a scribble. You redate it and then initial near the cross out. But that is a last resort. Very important. Some funders will not take out any crossout and initials. So the way you solve that problem is by finding whatever piece of paper they messed up on in their copy set and replace the copy and then have them sign the clean piece of paper.
