Okay, cool. Maybe you need to update your. Update your Instagram app to get online with me, but. Hello, I'm seeing some waves. Chris Mompreneur. Good to great. How's everybody doing right now? We speak housewives. Hello. So this again is a goal setting. Remember, the power of goal setting is so important. See, so many notary public loan signing agents kind of like, oh, I want to do this, oh, I want to do that. But they don't create actionable items to reach those goals because goals without a plan is just a dream. The goal setting is such a powerful way of building a business when you have actually the key to building anything is what they call stacking wins. You want to stack small wins that equal one big ginormous win. And that's the power of goal setting. See, I see too many notary public loan signing agents say, oh, I want to go direct. Oh, I want four signings. Oh, I want to get 20 to 2500 dollars a month. Well, that's all great. How are you going to get there? What are the actionable steps you're going to take to get to those goals? That's what goal setting Mondays are at the loan signing system. So if you have any goals that you want to set. Oh, looks like we have somebody coming on right now. First person on with me. Okay, waiting for a more notary. Tiffany Miles. Oh, Tiffany. What's up? What's up?
Hey, what's going on?
Oh, man. Well, you're the very first person to jump on. First off. I'm so glad you're here, girl. Let's talk about some goals. What are some goals you have this week?
This goals I have for this week. I want to get 20. Last week I had 22 in a week.
Okay, so let me get this straight. Last week you had 22 signings and this week you want first off. Did I say that correctly?
Yeah. No. So I. Last week I had 22. This week I want to aim for 30.
Oh, that's what I'm saying. Okay, cool. So this is a classic first off tip. Epic. Let's get to that 30 this week, girl. But that's what I want to talk about. I want to talk about actual items to get you that 30. Right? It's one thing to say it. So what are you doing? So you get 30? Just going to cross your fingers and hope for nor notifications. What are we doing to get to 30? Let's talk through that right now.
I'm being proactive. I reached out To a few that I'm preferred with letting them know my availability is open this week.
Love it.
So I'm kind of preferred with a lot. So right now and already this morning I got three, so I love it.
Okay, tip. Here's what I want from you, right? Here's your goals for this week. You ready? Yes. Remember the loan signing system. Ways to show gratitude. You're right. So you have a schedule behind the scenes who loves Tiffany, right? Why don't you show some gratitude towards a scheduler sort of feeding you those business, right? So they're always remembering. So maybe this week some of your goals to get to 30 is being very intentional with showing gratitude to the schedulers, right? That could be a thank you card. That could be something, a handwritten thank you note. I didn't have to always be a Starbucks card or Money, but look, I have six schedulers that kind of. It's a very thankless job, Right? In fact, notaries are always yelling at the schedules like, hey, where are my dogs? What's going on? I didn't get my dog soon enough, Right? So you can kind of switch that on him, Tiff, and be like, yo, I know you had an amazing week's crazy, stressful. Your day's crazy. I just want to say thank you. So instead of always calling up and asking for more business or calling up and saying, hey, I'm available, why don't you just call up and say thank you, right? Like, hey, I'm just calling up on a Monday saying, thank you so much for being you. Thank you so much for getting me business. Thank you for being amazing and then hanging up the phone and not asking for business and see what kind of amazingness you get. How about that?
Will do.
I love it. So your goal for this week is actually what I want you to do is your goal is to hit up all the schedules from the 22 signage you got the previous week, right?
Yeah.
I want you to hit up all the 22 or maybe, you know, whatever, 18 of them and say thank you. Don't. Don't call and ask for business. Just call and say thank you. Maybe rant or maybe get an address from like, hey, I want to send you something. What's an address? And then maybe at the end of each workday this week, you're sending them a handwritten thank you card. If you feel inclined to send them a $5 Starbuck card, they're not going to get mad at you. Right? But I think too often, you know, signing agents kind of just kind of go through the day to day without showing gratitude to some of the schedulers. And trust me, girl, the schedules are super stressed out. Like I said, I have six of them. You know, and. And hearing from the notary public loan signing agents and just knowing that notary public loan signing agents not only appreciate them, but respect what they're doing goes such a long way. Because the next time you might need to move your schedule or the next time, like, you're like, hey, I can do the five, but not the four. You'd be surprised how much they'll be on your team if they just know that you appreciate them. You know what I mean? So I want your goal for this week to show appreciation to schedules last week. We got a deal?
Yes, we have a deal.
All right. And I promise, if you do that tip, you're going to get to 30 and maybe even 40.
Thank you.
All right, I'm going to talk to you next week to let me know how it goes. But your goal this week is just to show appreciation to the schedules from previous week.
Cool? Yes.
All right, girl. Go get them. I'm rooting for 30, babe.
Thank you.
All right, have a blessed week. I'll talk to you next week. All right, bye.
Bye.
All right, who are we gonna have a. How awesome was that? She did 22 signings last week. This week, she wants to do 30. I hope you were inspired. If you're out there doing five signings a week, use her from signing agent Tiffany, whose goal is 30 closings. By the way, if you do the math of $100 a pop, she's on a goal for a $3,000 a week income. What would you do with $3,000 in one week? That's why his business is so amazing. Let's go. I get so excited for you students making all this income, helping your families. Okay, who's next? Who wants to jump on? Somebody hit the ad camera button below. Let's talk about some of your goals here, and let's get this party started. Looks like we have someone else jumping on. I am so excited to talk to her. Vicki, Vicki, Vicki, talk to me. Get on with me. This. If you're joining us live for the first time, this is where I help you plan out your notary public loan signing agent goals for the next week. Because goals without a plan is just a dream. You got to make sure actual items to help you get to your goals. You want more 30 signings? Well, what are you going to do to go get those 30 signings? That's what I helped Tiffany with. I'm waiting for Victoria right now to jump on. If you want to jump on, live with me and talk about some of your goals for the following week, I would love to help you set some goals. But more importantly, I would love to hold yourself. I'd love to hold you accountable to those goals. Anybody else on here want to join? Looks like Victoria for some reason jumped off. I was excited to talk to her. Somebody else join right now? We speak cyber. We speak housewives. Today is my first day of being available to take signings. Congratulations. The question is, we speak housewives. What are you going to do to get those signings right? You just can't be like, I'm ready. Because remember, too many notary public loan signing agents have this idea of if I build it, they will come. See, successful notary public loan signing agents don't have that. That don't have that mentality. And they have the mentality of like, look, I want a home. I'm going to build a home. This is how I'm going to get to that end. So, Victoria, I don't know what happened to you. I tried to hit accept, do it again. But, Jess, I'd love to jump on with somebody now and talk about. Okay, here we go. Someone's coming up. I love it. All right, we speak house, but I just know your Instagram name. I don't know your real name, so I apologize. But calling out your handles. Oh, what's up? What's up?
Hi.
Okay, first off, are we excited?
I'm very excited.
Okay, cool, cool, cool. I feel like was just yesterday we had our one on one mentorship. I am so glad you're about to go live with your business. So let's talk about this. Right? Today's your first day of going live.
Yes.
With your business. So what steps are you taking to start getting those signings? And let's talk about how to help you hold accountable and set some of those goals. So lay it on me. Whatever you want to get that first time.
Okay. So I'm really happy that we can have this chat because I feel like I don't know what else to do. I've got my profiles all set up. I've got a few. A few smaller signing services that maybe I can contact just to say, hey, I'm Emily. I'm educated, I'm trained, I can do a great closing. Beyond that, I don't really know what else to do.
Okay, cool. Let's talk about you. Well, first off, you hit it on the Nail.
Okay.
That's literally what you do.
Good.
You call up the site. Remember what I taught you in the mentorship. You're competing against an algorithm, right?
Yes.
And what's the algorithm's favorite thing? Signing orders completed. We already talked about that. So in order to get your name above the algorithms or the other signing agents, the best way is an introduction. You know the biggest things. You know, non LSS students, Emily, don't know what to do is what to say. You know what to say. I can't give away the script on here. But just exactly. But literally just don't a lot of LSS students overthink? Like, do I, do I really repeat the words on this piece of it? Yes, that's it. Okay. It's worked for thousands of people before you. It's just trying to create the courage to do it right.
Yes. That's hard.
I know. I get it, I get it, I get it. But you know, like I teach you guys in the course is, you know, you have to remember why you decided to become a notary public loan signing agent to begin with and let that drive you past your nerves. There's nothing that I can say that's actually going to make the nerves become less. I wish I had something magical to say, but the nerves are always going to get us. But the way to get through the nerves, not get rid of them, but to get through them, is to remember why you chose to be a signing agent. And I don't know what it is. If it's your family, it's your job, you hate. If it's more income, that's what you need to be thinking about the moment before you call up the signing service. So I'm going to give you a couple of pieces of advice and then we're going to set some goals together. Okay. First piece of advice is I'd love to think that you'd be amazing the first time you say the script. That's not going to be the case. Okay, so what I want you to do is use that signing service list I gave you in the course. Find the signing services that are farthest away from you. So where do you live?
I live in Encino.
Okay, so in California. So why don't you call some of the Florida based signing services? Suck with them. Love that advice. And then there you're gonna be not so hot. I hate to say it, but it's the truth. But then. But what a lot of your notary public loan signing agents do is they'll jump in the call the Ones in LA and be terrible. And they're like, well, how come they're not using me? And it's cause you kind of went right out of the gate. So what I want you to do today is start with the ones like on the east coast, okay. Kind of work your way west, right? All your Arizona and your Nevada and your California's. Those should be your last signing services you call up. Your first one should be Florida. And you know, like the ones on the east coast, there's 300 of them. So kind of pick strategically who you call first. Understand? The first two, three, you might kind of stumble, but they probably won't have business for you anyways because they're across the country. Okay, so start on there. That's number one piece of advice. But here's what you do. I want you to set a number today that's reasonable on the signing services. You're going to call from the list. I'm going to give you a number, you tell me if that's reasonable. 5. Does that sound like too many?
Okay, got it.
What I want you to do today is work up the courage to call 5 and then tomorrow call 5 and tomorrow call 5 and then maybe by Wednesday you're like, dude, I got this down pat. Then you start calling the California ones.
Got it?
You know what I mean? So I just want you to work through those nerves. I want you to work through like, like literally reading it like a robot. You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Once you can get through. And then kind of ended. The other piece of advice, which I hope all LSS students are listening, is the script was every single problem that we could solve at notary public loan signing agent. Don't spit, don't spew all 15. Find five or six that resonate with you.
Okay.
And say those. Does that make sense? Totally. So you just want to go down the list in a bullet point because they're like, you're obviously reading something. Pick a few. So my point is, you know, when you get off this, this, this one on one here, kind of like, okay, I'm gonna start highlighting these. Four or five, those make sense to me. I've never done this, so this makes no sense. Why don't resonate with it? Okay, so pick four or five. What? Those resonate. Call the five and just understand that you're gonna suck, you know? But we can never get good at something until we do that something. M. Okay, totally cool. I want you to embrace the learning curve. All right? You have a beautiful smile. So I want you to smile through the phone. They can feel that.
Yeah.
And just remember, dude, that this business won't build itself.
Exactly.
Got to build it. And the reason loan signing system students make so much money is because we build businesses.
Exactly.
For the phone to win, we make the phone ring. You know what I mean? So please give me feedback in the group today on how it went.
Okay.
Just understand the nerves are normal. Right. Don't wait till the nerves go away, because I hate to say it or not, but if you can just remember why you chose to go through this venture, like, literally, that's the thought right before you pick up the phone. Like, I'm doing this. Because whatever it is. And then pick up the phone, read the script, and by time number five or six, you won't even need that script anymore. You'll be like, wow, these people are actually kind of nice.
Yeah, right?
They're not rude and they're not scary. Okay, so five a day. We got that down.
We got that down, Mark.
All right, I'm expecting something on the group on how that went today. Fair enough.
Problem? Absolutely.
Bye. All right, that was awesome. So who wants to be up next? Once again, they remember. Okay, so who do we got? We got my man Alex. And talk about Alex's goals and how we can help set those for the following week or the upcoming weeks. What I should say. Okay, Alex, my man, how are you doing?
I'm doing great. How are you, Mark?
Good, man. So glad to be on here with you. So let's talk about this. What are some goals for the week you have? And I'm going to help you break those down and stay accountable, man. So talk to me.
As always, goals, make the most of the week.
You know, let's get more. Let's get more specific.
So here's the thing. I've been at it for eight months after I took your training course. Loved it. Gave me a lot of insight. I've been in meetings with you. I was able to do a lot of. I'm in Miami, Florida, by the way. I reached out to a lot of local title companies, and somehow they got this thing with some signing services. So I just went with. Can I say the names? Yeah, I can, right?
Yeah.
I went with Mortgage Connect, Inspired Closings, Amrock Bank, Serve, and Solidify.
Love it.
And since I've been with them, I very hardly work with any other signing services because these are title companies. Direct.
Yeah.
And I also have some local title companies that I met here and there. But it was hard. It was very, very hard.
Well, let me, let me just jump in real quick. I mean, yeah, I'll be honest with. It was easy. Everyone would do it, right? The difference between system students is we understand we're building a business, right? This is a real business where most people give up. LSS students persevere. That's why we make a ton of money. So what I would say for you, here's the goals I want you to have this week, okay. Some of those local title companies you just spoke of, I want you to get in a habit of visiting them on a weekly basis. Okay? Sometimes what happens with notary public loan signing agents is we see a wall and we kind of run the other way versus seeing wall and building a door. Okay? So, you know, a lot of people go, well, Mark, you know, what do I say the second or third time I walk in? I feel weird. I feels awkward, right? And you laugh because you probably feel the same thing. So let me help you through that awkwardness. You know what I want to teach you students is when we walk into a title company, we're not looking for a yes or no, right? We're not looking for, do you need to hire me today?
We're making presence.
Right? So what I want you to do is just get in the habit of them seeing your face sometimes. Top of mind marketing is the best type of marketing in our business. So when you walk in there, what do you say? You just say the script, just same thing. Sometimes people just need to be reassured of the value that you give them. So you don't need to reinvent the wheel on what to say. That makes sense. But Alex, I'm telling you, man, if sometimes persistency is the best key in our business, because most notary public loan signing agents will go in two times, three times, you're like, oh, well, they didn't need me. No, they just didn't need you.
Then I'll tell you what, Mark, something very interesting happened to me. So I've been at this for eight months and mind you, I just mentioned five title companies that you need two years experience. And the reason I got in with them was because in signing order, yeah, I have five star reviews, a hundred percent everything. So I would tell them, you know, I'm new, but look at my, look at my reviews, look at my rating and they're like, you're it, man. You got it.
Well, I need Alex to the other title companies locally, right? Ride the momentum, right? First off, I want to thank you for inspiring all the new notary public loan signing agents that you can work for Amrock and you can work for banks or without two years of experience, if you know how to approach in which I taught you how to do it. I'm proud that you did it. Yes. But I want you to dig deeper with the other title. That's what. That's what I want on your goals this week. Okay. That's what I want from you. I want you to be more consistent with putting your face in front of the title companies who really haven't latched on to you yet. Because remember, sometimes just a no just means not right now. But you never know when the notary that they hired got a flat tire. You never know when the notary that they hired for the 5 o' clock is stuck in the 2 o' clock because they had a reader. You know what I mean? So your job is to make sure they know that you're always available. Right?
Right.
So just use the script. Say the same thing. Walk in there and do that every single week. I'm going to leave you with one of our sticks with a story of inspiration from Bill Zanuga. I don't know if you know Bill by name, but he's probably one of the most successful LSS students we have. Yeah, he went to the same title company nine straight Mondays. Every Monday, he'd walk in and say, I'm available. Here's a script. I'm available. Here's a script. On the 10th time, they said, you know what? Funny you walked in. Our notary just canceled. We need a notary now. That same office now gives them $7,000 a month in signing business because he was persistent enough every single Monday for nine weeks. That's what loan signing system students do, Alex. So I need you to ride the momentum. I'm so proud of the business you built, but let's keep on building the business. You're eight months in. I can't wait to see when two. You're two years in. What you build. Right? This is a marathon. All right, you ready to build? Thank you very much, Mark. So your. Your goal for this week, Alex, is to go for this week, keep on visiting, keep on visiting, keep on. And then set that goal every single week. And after maybe a month, I promise you, man, they're gonna be like, oh, my gosh, Alex, thank you for stopping in. Here you go. I will, I will.
Thank you very much, Mark. Appreciate it.
I'm proud of you, brother. Talk to you. I'll talk to you next Monday.
I will. Thank you.
Bye. All right. Well, that was awesome. Alex just crushing it right now. All right, who else wants to come on right now? And I talked about some goals. You can't see how awesome these are. Does anybody else want to jump on here? Let me try to get Tracy Moore up on here. She wants to come on in. I mean, are you guys glad that you're here for goal setting Mondays? Because remember, a goal without a plan is just a dream. Tracy, what's up? You're on. How are you?
I'm doing well. How are you?
Good, good. I can't see your face. Tracy, where'd you go?
I don't. Hold on. Let me fix this camera here.
All right. All right, While you're fixing that camera, let's talk about some goals you have for this week. Anything that you want to talk about. Okay, she's gone. Who's up next? Let's try. I think it is Bella, if I said that right. All right, cool. Doesn't look. Oh, Bellen. That. I say that looks like Bell and left me as well. Who else? Let's go, Albert. Let's say Albert's on there. These are awesome. I am so excited to see you every single Monday. Help you walk through some of your goals for the week. Okay. It looks like Jess is going to try to get Jess on here. I'm guessing that is short for Jessica. Welcome to the loan signing system. Goal setting, Jessica. What's up?
What's up? Hey.
Hey. All right. Looking lovely on this Monday, girl. Let's get right to it. Let's set some goals. Talk to me. What are some goals? Ambitions.
Okay, so last week was really slow, and I was fed up with it being slow, so I took action. I went to 12 different title companies. Now I kind of don't know. Like, I know I need to go back into the offices, but, like, I didn't get past the receptionist at any of them. Like, what do I do this week when I go in?
Okay, cool. First off, I just want to say I'm so proud of you.
Thank you.
There's no such thing as slow days. There are signing days and marketing days. That's it.
Yeah.
If you're not having signings, you're out market. So I'm so proud of you. I'm proud of you. Number two, you said, look, it's slow, so it's up to me. It's up to me if I want something to happen. And you did it. So I'm so, so proud of you. I also want to mention this before we get into some of your answer is, you know, Sometimes the winning is just in the doing, right?
Yeah, Right.
Too often we put this, this, this pass or fail mentality on everything. The fact that you went to 12 signing 12 title companies, that's a win, girl. Yeah. Don't want you thinking you failed because you didn't. Okay. There's so many notaries who are watching this right now who wish they would have the courage to do what you did. So you're inspiring other notary public loan signing agents. So just don't. I don't want you getting down on yourself. Okay? So here's a couple tips.
Okay.
First off, when you walk into a title company, Jess, is try to do some research before you walk in and ask for names. Specifically, I am here to see Jennifer. I am here to see Aaron. Now, I'm not saying all the time, right? Six out of ten times they'll be like, okay, cool. They don't know you're a notary. Walking in, you could be a client, you could be a realtor. Right? So sometimes you walk in and just say, hey, I'm here to see Jessica. Six out of 10 times, they're like, cool, I'll go get her or him. So if you walk in with a little bit more research ahead of time, it usually makes it a little bit easier to get behind the receptionist. Cool.
Yeah, Right.
Number two, I hope that tip helped.
Yeah.
Okay, cool. Number two, as I teach this, I don't want to give away the course, but I'm gonna. But I want you to go back in and watch how to Get Past the gatekeeper. The mentorship video on that. Okay. So what I wanted you to say is sometimes the goal actually isn't to get past the receptionist.
Right.
It's to get to know the receptionist. Did that click? Yeah. All right.
Because most of the receptionists are also the schedulers, like here in Texas. I've noticed that a lot.
That's my point. So. But too often signing agents look past them. And I'm like, don't do that. Right. And so you're exactly right. You hit it on the head. Most of the time, the receptionist has way more power to picking the signing agent that we give them credit for. So I did an hour mentorship on how to get past the gatekeeper. And for the free value for everybody is, you know, the real training was stop looking past the receptionist. Right. Sometimes you want to go in looking for the receptionist. Right. And then remember, I'm going to end with this is. Remember that. And I gave Alex the same coaching before you. Is our goal Isn't necessarily a yes or no. Our goal walk in is like, I'm ready and available.
Yeah.
Does that make sense? So you didn't lose by not getting a signing that day. You won that. They now know that you're ready and available. Right. Okay. So the same advice I gave Alex want to give you is fortunes in the follow up. Right. I make the comment all time. Jay is like, be honest with me here. How many weeks, days or months did it take before you're like, you know what? I'm gonna buy Mark's course. How many days? How many weeks?
Oh, it took three months.
That's my point. Right. So that's normal buying behavior. Yeah, that makes sense. So maybe they need to see you, Jessica, for a few months. I don't know. You know what I mean? Everyone's buying behavior is different. I have some students who see this Instagram video, like, I'm in. I have some students like you who are like, I need three months. My point is everyone's on a different spectrum.
Right?
But you need to understand that. Right. Too often I'll get students like Mark. I've been to a title company. They didn't hire me the first time I walked in. I'm like, how long take you by my course? Oh, six months. I'm like, yo, it took you six months to buy a course with a money back guarantee, but yet you're frustrated that someone didn't use you the first time. And again, that's not a knock against me. It's not a knock against you.
Right.
It's just what buying behavior is. So what I told Alex, what I want to tell you, man, is fortunes in the follow up.
Okay?
Your job just to make, look, I'm ready. I'm available if and when you need me. The biggest key, though, is making sure you're reiterating the script.
Okay.
The biggest mistakes, LSS students go in is they just say, I'm ready and available versus creating value on why they should give you a shot. Does that make sense? So a lot of times a follow up sounds like, hey, I'm Mark. We'll let you know, ready, available, walk out. But. But they need it. They need a compelling reason why does that make sense? And so your job on the follow up is do a compelling reason why saying, look, you know, I don't. I can't give the script away. But right. Four or five bullet points. Like I told Emily, I think a few people for you is pick four or five points that resonate with you.
Okay.
You know, and Kind of use those as your strengths, as the problems that you're solving, and just kind of hit repeat. So here's what I want as a goal for you, okay? I want you to follow up with one title company in person every day this week. If you want to set something big, like two, I ain't gonna get mad at you, but I want you to solve something small and palpable, which I think one a day to follow up. I think is good. Okay. Let me kind of. So that's the goals I want you to have for this week. Okay? So. But let me end with this, with you. You know, the hardest thing that I had to do is to teach people how to be courageous. And you did that with 12. I want you to build on that courage, Okay. I want you to reach out to some real terms. Okay? So I want you to. Because if you're able to walk into a title office, if you walk into an open house. So maybe this week I want you to make a list of open houses. I know Texas is wide open right now, so I know there are realtors, just open houses this weekend.
Yeah.
So maybe, you know, set a few in your area and be like, I'm gonna hit this one, this one, and this one.
Okay.
Remember, there's a realtor specific script.
Oh, yeah.
Okay. So use. Use that versus the title script. Remember that one? But look, the best part about realtors is you're walking directly into the decision maker, unlike the receptionist. Right. When you walk into an open house, you're like, hey, you're the realtor. You can give me a signing. Here's why you should give it to me.
Yeah.
So if you have that courage already, which I think all you should. But I'm proud of you. You do write it. Ride the momentum. Okay, so remember, once you became. Once you get a rapport with the realtor, they can refer you to title officer.
Right.
So you can backdoor tos to relationships. Don't forget that, you know, because again, a lot of you, notary public loan signing agent, not new notary public loan signing agents. Excuse me. Get myopic. Like, I need to go to title. I need to go to title versus saying, dude, if I get a relationship with a realtor, they can then introduce me to their title officer. Because remember the title officer and the realtor of a relationship.
Right.
Leverage that. You know what I mean? So. But girl, I'm proud of you.
Right?
I. I'm so proud of you. Because effort builds this business. Most notary public loan signing agents won't do what you did. So don't discount that. Continue to believe in yourself. Jay. Follow up me next week maybe in the Facebook groups. Let me know. What a day. And then this weekend, hit up a couple open houses. And I'm willing to bet that gets so much easier because you're actually talking to the decision maker.
Right? Right. Okay.
All right.
Thank you.
You're welcome. All right, who do we have on next? I absolutely love these. Albert, let's get you on, man. I just. I just gave you the go. I love it. Barbie, go. Hit the link inside. My bio will take you directly to it. Barbie, forehand 71. Excited. Maybe have you as a student. Is there any other students who want to jump on with me? And you don't have to be a student, by the way. Anybody want to set goals? I'm just a proponent of helping every single notary public loan signing agent. I'm a champion of all signing agents. I'm a champion of all signing agent training courses. I just want to help you be successful. I'm so excited you're here with me. We're waiting for Albert right now to see if Albert wants to jump on. Does anybody want to jump on and talk about their goals for the week? Just hit that little. It should be like, right where my finger is, that button. Looks like someone else is about to jump on with me right now. Let's see who this is. I'm waiting for someone else. Who is this? All right, Preto. I think I said that right. Izzy, let's talk about some goals. If you're watching this for the first time, my name is Mark Wills. I'm the educator of the loan signing system. Just simply here trying to help notary public loan signing agents set goals for the week. Des lifestyle. Jump on the camera. Let's talk about it. Okay. I'm getting a lot of questions here. Don't hesitate to jump on the camera and talk about it. I'm trying to get Prito on. I think I said that right. Okay. Request here. Boom. Go live with prito. All right, let me see what this looks like. All right, Preeto, you coming on, my man? All right, all right, all right. So any advice for someone just starting out? Des lifestyle asked me a question. While I'm waiting for somebody to jump on with me, I'll answer a couple questions I'm getting. Who is this question? Any advice from? Just study. Here's my biggest advice. I don't know if you're a loan signing system student or not, so I'm going to Say this very generically. My best advice is to get a notary public loan signing agent training course. Find a trainer that resonates with you. Maybe it's not me, but find it. Because too many notary public loan signing agents do this business by themselves. Instead of learning from someone else's mistakes, instead of learning from someone else's experience, they go on the Internet, they read a million blogs, and you should have somebody in your corner. So my advice is, whether you take my course or somebody else's, just take a notary public loan signing agent training course. There are many amazing notary public loan signing aid trainers out there. I am not one of those trainers who talks down about other trainers. I think every trainer is amazing. I can't be happier for the impact that they're having on this industry. So you'll never hear me talk down about another trainer. I think they're all awesome. But I just say take a training course. Find a trainer that resonates with you. And I would read reviews is what I would do. But that is my advice for someone just starting out is do not go at this business by yourself. All right, let me try to get someone else on here right now. Anybody else want to jump on live? This is signing agent goal setting. So anybody want to jump on here and talk about some goals they have? Because that. Oh, my man, Mark. Good to see you again, brother. How are you?
I'm good.
All right, let's talk about those goals. First off, be careful, man. I see you driving at the same time. Oh, no, no.
My dad's driving. My dad's driving.
Okay, cool. Okay, cool. Tell pomps I said what up? All right, so let's talk about some goals, man. What goals you set last week? Remind me.
I went to each title office that I went to the first time. I followed up with with all of them. And my question now is, well, I actually got a response from one of them. They said that they actually my information and my fees and whatnot. So I sent that off waiting for a response on that. And somebody else said they love my persistence. And I thank you for that because you. You're the one who told me to follow up with them again. Now is how do I. How do I talk to real estate agents? I know you had the script on the real estate agents, but how do I do in a way where I'm offering something and not just taking?
Yeah, no, good question, man. I mean, that's all. I mean, I don't want to give away the course right now, but make sure. You watch in the course, the realtor script, the videos on how to get realtor business. But what I want to say, though, to everybody and to you, man, is what I want to treat. Teach you right now, okay, Is when you go into market to anyone, not even a realtor, is you should be thinking before you walk into that door, what value can I add to their business? So let's talk about that out loud real quick. You walk into an open house, what value could you add to someone's open house? Let's talk about that.
Okay. I know. I think it was named Christian. I forgot his name, but yep. Okay. He said he brought water and said that if you need anything, I'm here. So I'm thinking maybe I could go that route.
Exactly right? Don't reinvent the wheel, man. You know what I mean? What? Rewatch that video with Christian, and exactly what he does, he drops a couple other nuggets on the exact things that he offers. But what I wanted right now, in which I loved, is you. I saw you thinking through it. That's what every business owner does. They go, okay, what value can I add? And that's. I mean, look, literally remember, like, look, you need me to windex that window right there because there's thumbprints on it. Like, you're like, think about the value you can add to somebody else.
Right?
If you do that and you end and you enter the conversation with the value, they're going to listen to the pitch at the end. Does that make sense? So a lot of new. Lot of students unfortunately walk in with like, I want a signing. They jump straight to the script versus let me enter the conversation like Christian did with these are the things that I can do to add value to your business today and then jump into script at the end. Does that make sense?
Right?
And what I love about this conversation, and I hope everybody is getting inspired by this, is you're not just marketing title companies. You're like, I'm going to do realtors. I'm going to do whoever. That's what marketing is, right? Marketing is not linear. It's all about as many different sources of revenue that I can get. Get. That's what I'm going to market to. So I'm proud of you, man. So what I want you. What I with the goals I want you to set today over the next couple days is I want you to write a list of things that you can do to bring value to a realtor. Okay? Then I want you to post that list in the private Facebook group. And let's start a conversation about that. Right? So I want to be like, I'm going to go market at realtors. This is what I'm thinking I can do to add value. Does anybody else have any great ideas?
And.
And, dude, you're going to get them like, wildfire. I'll chime in, but that's what I want you to do. I want you to get a thread started on the different perspectives of the different notary public loan signing agents in the group on what they could do to bring value, and that will help you get value to your realtors. That make sense?
That makes a lot of sense.
Cool. So I want you to brainstorm on your own today the different, like, five different things you can do. Steal some of them from Christian's interview. Okay. And then start a conversation in the Facebook group with like, look, these are the five things that I'm gonna think about adding value to realtors. Can anybody else chime in with what they think they do? And then hopefully there's like, 20 different things we can start a conversation around that. Then going into a realtor's open house, you're like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Fair enough?
Yes, sir.
All right, man, I'm gonna end with this. Remember, fortunes in the follow up. Continuing follow up with everyone else that you followed up with. That one title person already said, I appreciate your persistence. All people want to do is work with people who know that they have their best interest in mind. Right? Right. And that's what you do by being persistent on the follow up. Does that make sense?
Yes.
All right, go get them. Start that conversation. Put some thought behind it. Tag me. I'll chime in with what I think you can do to add value.
Okay.
And let's go build a business. Keep doing what you're doing, man. I appreciate you so much. Okay.
I appreciate you, Mark. Thank you.
You're welcome, man. Let's go.
All right, thank you.
All right, who we got next? Excited to always talk to you guys. All right, so I hope I'm saying this right. Nadai, let's get you on stage. I got about 10 more minutes before I need to jump, but I am so happy to have everybody on and goal setting Monday through the loan signing to die. Is that you?
Hi, Mark. How are you, girl?
First off, I want you to be safe, okay?
Yes. Sorry I requested this before. I went. I went on a row, but it's all good. I'm paying attention, I promise.
All right, cool. So let's talk about some goals.
I Am a. I am a student of yours. I am actually on lesson two. So I am still fairly new. I got my commission in Ohio on Monday. Last Monday.
Monday.
So my question is, I became a first time homeowner about two years ago and upon listening to your lessons, I realized that I still have all of my information. My loan signing agent, that was actually at my closing, I still have his information. So I guess my question is, should I go back to him, see if he can mentor me? Maybe because I'm in the state of Ohio, he can give me some pointers or should I just wait until I'm done with your lesson and then go about that route?
Wait until you go with my lessons? That's what I would say.
Okay.
You know, but I. So here's what I will say to Robin. This conversation. I hope a lot of new notary public loan signing agents are listening. A lot of new students is the biggest mistake I see new notary public loan signing agents make is they get education overload. They're trying to get information from 14 different places and you retain this much.
Right, right.
That makes sense. So I'm very pro math education. You know, I. Like I said, I'm not against other people signing into training courses. But what I don't recommend is taking four different people's training courses at the same time. It should be one. Understand to understand. So what I would say is just finish my course by the end of my course. I'll tell you. But here's what I. This is a goal setting Monday. So here's my goal for you. You ready?
This is.
I want you to make sure that you are setting. No worries, you're good. This is so. But I want you to set goals for your studying. So the number one thing is I want you to. A lot of times new signing agents. Here's a mistake new signing agents make, right? New students, excuse me, new students may as they try to study the whole course in like three days. And I'm like, dude, you can't remember everything you slam through, right? So the biggest way is to cut up your studying into like an hour a day, two hours a day, every day for like a week versus trying to get six hours in one day. I'd rather you get two hours in one day. Stop trying to remember what I just watched. Because my analogy to you is, you know, have you ever finished a book and then been like, what was in chapter one? Right? We've all been there. You're like, the book was great, but I don't remember what's in chapter one, so try to. What I want you to do is just set a goal for yourself, like an hour or two every day, and that's your goal. You'll get through it. Be methodical. Okay. The second goal I want you to set is to make sure you join the Ohio Ambassador Group. I have subgroups in all major states, so make sure you join yours.
Okay? You said it's Ohio Ambassador Group?
Yeah, it's in the third module in the course. You'll find the link and join it so you get some local support. We have our ambassadors doing, like, 15, 20 grand a month. She's there to help other notary public loan signing agents as well in Ohio that are lss. So make sure you join.
All right, Mark. Well, thank you. I really appreciate it. Thank you. And your course is amazing, so thank you so much.
Oh, you. So be safe, and I'll see you next Monday. Okay, bye. All right, I got time for one other person. I hope you guys love these as much as I do. I love. I do love seeing you guys from the car, but hope you guys are safe. Everybody be safe out there. Okay, let's see who else we get on here. All right, I got room for one more person. Let's see if Izzy wants to jump on there with me. All right, While Izzy is. I'm waiting for Izzy. I think I said that right. Is, man, are you guys loving goal Setting Mondays? Look, you know what I want to really hope to inspire you with is you have to set goals. Every successful person is sets goals. They rehab a goal. They chop this huge goal and a bunch of small goals. That's called stacking wins. You know how you create motivation is by enjoying a win. One win makes you want to do another one, which makes you want to do another one, which makes you want to do another win. Right? Like, if you're trying to lose weight, when you lose £1 and you see it, then you want to lose another pound, right? Momentum creates momentum. So I want you to start realizing that these big goals again. Look, does anybody else want to join me on stage here before I kind of sign off with goal Setting Mondays with the loan signing system? All right, who do I have here? All right, cool. I love the people. Love. And go. Okay, say MJ here. All right, mj, let's get you on stage here. What's up, mj?
Hey, how you doing?
Mark, my man, how are you?
I am doing splendid. Thank you very much.
Okay, goal setting Monday, man. Where are you at in your journey? Let's Talk about some goals.
Absolutely. So I signed up for the lls, which I already have my certification, which is great. And at this point my question is I'm trying to see if I can open up a business, right? And I'm in Texas. So do I need an LLC or do I just need a business permit in the first place?
Yeah, well, that's in the course. But you know what I do want to say, man, is I don't, I don't make sure you always consult a tax professional because the way your business is set up determines a lot of tax implications. I don't know Texas state laws, I mean income tax laws. Some states it's better have an llc, some isn't. So, you know, just make sure you're talking to somebody within the tax industry. You know, someone as simple as like an H and R block rep, you know, you don't need to go get a high powered cpa, you know what I mean? I also might recommend maybe reaching out to a fellow business owner that you may know and see what they recommend. Where are you in terms of the course though and building the business? That's what I want to talk about.
So as of now, I just finished the exam and took the certification. So I'm actually on section two, which is more of basics on how to get loan signing started.
So here's my goals. Here's the goals I want to set for you. I want you to make sure I want to get you through the rest of the course so we can get you out building a business. But don't try to speed through the course. Or like I just told Nadai, who, that was her name, set a goal of maybe an hour or two every day of getting through this course. I need to get you consistently through the course, but don't try to do six hours in one day. You know what I mean? Yeah, that's what I want to talk to you about. And then as soon as you're done, I want you to set up the one on one with me. It's the very last module inside the perfect signing course. Someone just asked that question below. That's included. That's not an upsell. Okay? That's a one on one. And it really helps me to make sure you understand that you understood every single thing that you watched. And it really helped me develop a business plan with you and to launch your business. But I don't want you set up that too early though. So finish all the marketing materials, the basics on how to get a signing. Okay? Remember, consistency builds Businesses. So one or two hours every single day to get through the end of the course and that's still the business, baby.
Okay, thank you very much, Mark.
I appreciate that. I'll be in touch every day and I'll see you on that one. On one with me.
Absolutely. Thank you.
All right, man. I'll talk to you soon, brother. Bye. All right. All right, goal setting Monday. It looks like I've one person. I said I'd room for one more but Dave Vidal is a superstar. So Dave, why don't you jump on right? Hit the video button and then you can jump on. Doesn't matter how long it's been since you paid for it. No, you get one. One on one business strategy with me for it doesn't matter if you bought the course a year. If you have not used it, you get it, you got it, you paid for it. I want to make sure that you get value for it. Okay, so I'm going to wrap up. Doesn't look like Dave's jumping on. Guys, I hope you're loving goal setting Monday with the loan signing system. If you jumped in late, this is where every single Monday I help you determine your goals, set goals, hold you accountable, follow up from the previous week. This has been another amazing session with the mark on Martin, by the way with the loan signing system. If you have any questions about my course, don't hesitate to click the link in my bio. Click the link down below if you're watching a replay of this. I'm so excited to be a part of so many of your guys journeys. Whether you're a notary public loan signing system student or not. I'm a champion of every single loan signing agent out there. I'm rooting for you regardless of your loan signing system student or not. There is room for all of us at the top. Just not enough room to sit down. That's my favorite Zig Ziglar coat. Be blessed. Go get them and have an amazing week. Let's go.
