Oh, I'm so happy to be on right now, going live. Look at this. I'm actually inside an escrow officer's office right this moment. The corner escrow office at First American with the one and only Jamie Larica in the background there. Jamie has been kind enough to jump on real quick. I'm going to ask her a couple maybe one big tip that she can give a notary public loan signing agent trying to get into an escrow office. But really quick, look at this view. How amazing is that? Incredible, right? She has a corner office over here. So actually I came in today because I actually dropped off a set of loan docs because just like you guys, I'm still a notary public loan signing agent. I'm out there honing my marketing techniques every week so I can teach you how I've been getting business for 16 years. You guys may recognize Jamie from the conference if you actually went to the conference. But Jamie Laurici is an escrow officer at First American. How long you been working here at this escrow for First American?
Six years.
Six years. And in the business, how long have you been.
20.
20 years to an escrow. So I said, jamie, I dropped off some docs real quick and just a record I am working signing agent training for loan signing system. I don't always dress like this, but I got to rock the relentless hat. So anyhow, so Jamie has an escrow officer, First American been in business for 20 years. So I said, Jamie, I'm gonna go Facebook live real quick. Can you just give one quick tip for a notary public loan signing agent trying to get into an escrow office. So Jamie, can you give one quick tip? This is literally in the middle of our business day. So thank you very, very much for doing this. So one quick tip on a Friday afternoon on a notary public loan signing agent trying to get into the escrow office.
Go see your escrow officers today. It's Friday. We're gonna have some last minute docs coming in. And if you're there and we get docs in, hey, do a signing for us. So we want to get out of here early on a Friday. So if you're here, help us get those signings out and meet those docs.
Yes. So what basically Jamie's saying is be top of mind Friday rush comes in, she wants to get out. Loan docs come in kind of late aftern. So if you've been prospecting any escrow offices right now, Jamie's advice is pop on in, especially in the late afternoon because the last thing he wants to do is like rush around and try to get a bunch of notaries if you're already top of mind to come in. And it's a pretty good opportunity to get a signing. So even if you're a brand new notary public loan signing agent trying to prospect a new client, what I should say Jamie's recommendation is, look, being top of the line on a Friday afternoon, which is a little bit more hectic than let's say a Tuesday afternoon, and it's because they have a weekend they want to get to, they have schedules. So instead of calling notaries on the phone, if you're just happen to be pop up in the office and you're like, oh my gosh, you know what, today's your day, I'm going to give you a signing because I want to get out of here. So that's a great little nugget as far as trying to get escrow business from a new escrow officer you're trying to prospect by going in on a Friday afternoon as opposed to a Monday or Tuesday afternoon and just being top of mind and being like hey, I'm here, I met you last week. Is there anything I can do to help your business? Can I get do any last minute signs? Thank you so much for that tiny little nugget. And once again guys, hope you're out there making a ton of money. Bring value, be something, do what other signing agents won't do and you can go out and build your business. Till next time, I'm rooting for you. Bye.
