In this concise video, a seasoned notary signing agent advises fellow agents to treat the signing they are currently handling as the most important one, rather than chasing a series of high‑paying appointments. The speaker explains that rushing between back‑to‑back signings (e.g., $400, $500, $800) often leads to missed appointments, negative client reviews, and loss of future business. Instead, agents—both newcomers and veterans—should schedule signings three to four hours apart, allocate at least 1.5 hours per appointment (including travel), and focus on delivering an excellent borrower experience. By prioritizing quality over quantity, agents build a reputation that generates repeat referrals and sustainable growth, rather than relying on short‑term earnings. The video ends with a call to like the video and an invitation to comment for further help.

Remember, the most important signing you're ever going to have as a signing agent is the signing you are currently at. Look, I get it, you want to have those four to $500 days. So you schedule a four, you schedule a six and you schedule an eight and you're super excited. But what ends up happening usually is you rush your four to get to your six, you rush your six to get to the eight or your four takes longer than you anticipated and now you're late to your 6 o' clock 8. Any negative reviews back to whoever gave you the signing is going to cost you future business. That is why it's short term thinking to try to Schedule 4 to Schedule 6 and Schedule 8. Because you might make short term money, but you're going to lose money in the long run if you lose a client because you gave a bad customer experience. That is why the most important signing you're ever going to have is a signing that you're currently at. So if you're new on the signing agent journey, try to organize your signings at least three to four hours apart. And understand you're going to get better, you're going to get into your own flow. But don't try to make a ton of money right out of the gate. Focus on the signing agent experience so the people you're getting signings friends will keep feeding you signings will keep giving you phone calls and texts and emails. And if you're a veteran signing agent like me, I still give myself at least an hour and a half at every single appointment. Then I factor in driving time to and from my next appointments in there. I do not assume that every sign is going to take me 45 minutes. I only thing I ever worry about is I'm giving enough time for this signing so I can have the best signing experience possible to the borrower. That is how I've grown a signing agent business. I haven't grown a signing agent business because I brag I can do 10 signings a day. I brag that I give the best notary public loan signing experience possible to a borrower. And that's why I've grown a signing agent business as large as I have. Focus on the current signing you're at.
