This is a YouTube video titled "What is in the Perfect Notary Profile? What Signing Services Look For [PART 1]" created in March 2025. The content features a discussion between at least two speakers, including one identified as BZ and another as Speaker B, focusing on the elements that make an ideal notary profile for signing services. Topics include professional profile pictures, clear listing of experience and availability, specialization, certifications, and the importance of maintaining updated social media links. The conversation aims to guide notaries on how to present themselves professionally to attract signing opportunities.
But what you look for in a perfect profile to help you organize what these SS owners look for in the perfect profile.
I want to look at the profile picture. I want to make sure that it's a professional picture. I know that sometimes we see different types of pictures. Actually do professional headshots today. That's one of the signature moves of loan signing system. That when you come to conference you get a professional headshot if you don't have one, which is awesome. And then I also want to make sure that your name and your title is listed there as well, that you state your experience, that it's important for us and as well as your availability. And when you, when I say availability, that means that you may, that may be your signature move. Maybe you only want to do nights and weekends. Maybe you want to only want to do the after hours. Can't find a notary signings. State that in your, in your actual profile because that gives us an opportunity to actually see that and actually match that up with your profile whenever we are looking for closings. The, the main point too is that if you specialize in something, state that, okay, if you're bilingual, speak other languages, state that. Because that's important for us to know that hey, we have a profile here of other things that we can use this notary for other than just the, the basic stuff. Right. And then of course your social media media handles where you are at, where we can find you, where we can follow you to see information and just make sure that you are again professional, that you're timely, that you state your, your E and O, your coverage is there and as well as what companies that you may be have training with because we like to see certifications. That means that you invest in yourself again and that you are your profile. You, your profile is so important to us that you keep it updated. Okay. Because sometimes we don't update our profiles once we set it up. But a perfect profile is one that stays updated all your credentials and that you don't miss those types of things. Because we look at your profile and then we go to look at information and your trainings aren't updated, then that's like a no go for us. So that means we gotta go back to the drawing board and find somebody else. But just make sure that you state those things in your profile so that we are, are picking the perfect person for the closing.
Love it. I mean the only thing I'll kind of just wrap up with you or unpack is the social media links I think are great. I mean, like BZ said, it wasn't a big move of social media. But you social media comes almost like a website. And so put your links in there. If you don't have social media, get social media, let's go.
