Hey squad, we are back in the Movement by MK studio and I am so excited to sweat with you here as always. We are on day 8 of the Beginner Babe Challenge. I am literally so excited for you to be here and I hope you feel the same way. I want you to think about where you were 8 days ago. How far have you come in the past 8 days? How are your energy levels? How are you feeling towards your body? How is your mind? Those are the things I want to hear about. So I'm so excited to continue this journey with you and today we have a killer leg day going down. We got 4 moves, 2 times through for about 10 minutes of work. So remember, you can pick up and do this workout anywhere, anytime with absolutely no equipment. Or if you're following my challenge, you can download the calendar below. You'll get an email every single day with your calendar and workout for the day. Sound good? All right, don't forget, send me a sweaty selfie after this class. Check off this workout that you've done it, and that is your way to be accountable with me. All right, let's get to it, you guys. Feet are going to come out shoulder width apart. I'm going to get our timer started and we are going to crush our 10 minute to work today so you can go on with your day and be like, I did Movement by MK. All right, let's go. Feet are shoulder-width apart. We're dropping that booty down. We are on. Here's your first minute of work, air squats. So like I said, sometimes as we're going through these moves together, at first they see— may seem a little bit basic, but as we go through the movements together, we progress. And that is what my programming is all about. It's about progressing you in your journey, progressing you forward, helping you get a little bit better each and every single day. How does that sound? Good. Drop that booty down. We got 30 seconds here. That's right, let's go squad! We're gonna bring it into some monster walks in about 20 seconds. You're gonna meet me at the back of your mat. Feet are gonna be shoulder width apart. We're gonna point those toes out and we're gonna walk it on out. About 12 seconds to get there. Good, we got it. In 3, in 2, and 1. Come to the back of your mat again. Point those toes out just a little bit. Roll your shoulders back with confidence. Good, drop that booty down. We're gonna take this into a basic monster walk. Here we go. Good, keeping that booty low the whole time. The best thing about having a trainer doing the workout by your side is I want you to stay low with me. We're doing it together, we're in it together. 40 seconds. We might not be in the exact same space, but I want you to know— come on, get that booty down, you got it! Halfway there. Good, you're more than halfway. 25 seconds. We come into curtsy lunges. We're gonna work that outer and inner thigh. 15 seconds. Heart rate's getting slightly elevated here. That's right, I know you might be tempted to pop on up. Keep it low, keep that body moving. 5 seconds, in 4, 3, 2, and 1. Stand up tall. So we're going to come in basic curtsy, drop it back into curtsy, bring it up. If you're advanced, you can double pulse, bring it up, add on, add in. You're going to double put We're on. You're gonna come into curtsy, bring it up. You can drop it down and double pulse if you are advanced and bring it up to your knee to elbow. That's if you're advanced. Whatever works. Good. We got about 15 seconds on this side and we'll switch it out. If you're right here in basic curtsy, that's perfect. Either one works. Switching sides in 4, 3, 2, and 1. Let's give that other side some love. Drop it on down. Good. Again, shoulders are rolled back here, bringing it back, bringing it forward. It's the little effort that you're making today that is going to have that big outcome. We're here for 4, we walk it out in 3, in 2, and 1. Rest it for just a sec. Hands can come up to your head, to your hips, whatever feels good. We forward lunge it out. Let's go! How we doing? Aren't you feeling so much better than you did 4 minutes ago? It is crazy what a little bit of movement can do for you— mind, body, and soul. 45 seconds. We're gonna have a little bit of a break in between starting this circuit one more time. If you want to jumping jack in place with me, you can to get that heart rate up. If you want to take a quick sip, go ahead and do so. 30 seconds. Good. Making sure this knee is not coming in front of that toe. Bring it forward, bring it back. Of course, as you advance in your journey with me, if you ever want to add in dumbbells, you always can do so. 8 seconds. Breathe. It's 5, 4, 4, 3, 2, and 1. We're resting here, or you got 35 seconds of jacks with me, either one. If you need to take that sip, take that sip. If you can hit the next 30 seconds of these jacks— you can do anything for 30 seconds, I say it all the time. Come on, let's get that heart rate up. We're gonna get ready to crush that circuit. One more time together. Let's go, beginner babe! Day 8, come on! In and out. Here we go, right into your basic air squats. 6 seconds, can you push? For 4, for 3, 2, and 1. Feet shoulder-width apart, drop booty down, bring it on up. Now if you're advancing, I want you to drop down, double pulse, bring it up. Drop down, double pulse, bring it up. That is right. Yes, good work. Good squad. We got 35 seconds. We're gonna come in back into your monster walk. Monster walk, I'm gonna add on a bit if you want. That's just an option, okay? You will learn in my classes everything I provide you with is an option, and there's always 2. You get to decide. 15 seconds. Come on, you're doing so well! You've broken a sweat, you're starting to feel those endorphins. Good, you're ready for monster walks. We bring it in 3, in 2, and 1. To the back of your mat, take a sec, roll your shoulders back. We're going to drop it on down, we're going to walk it on out. Here's your option to add on: jump squat, only if you want it. Remember, it is an option. Whatever feels good for you feels good for me. 45 seconds. 35. Getting ready for that killer curtsy lunge. Quads are on fire, burning out those glutes. Curtsy lunge, coming on up. 10 seconds. 10 seconds. It's 5, for 4, I know you're burning, for 3, for 2, and 1. Walk it out for just a sec. All right, let's go. We going right into curtsy in 5, in 4, in 3, 2, and 1. Hands up here, right here, or at your chest. Curtsy, drop it on down. Inner outer thigh burn. If you're advanced, double pulse. Bring it up, knee drive, drop it down. Bring it up, knee drive. Or maybe you're like, you know what, MK, you've encouraged me to try that. Go ahead and give it a try. That's what I'm here to do, to motivate you to push a little bit more, to get a little bit better. We switch sides in 3, In 2 and 1, here we go. Switch it on out. Maybe you try the advanced move and at first you're like, oh yeah, feels a little bit different. Then you're like, oh, you know what, I can do that again. That's what it's all about. All right, we finish out this class In 3, in 2, and 1. Let's walk it on out, walk it out to good energy. Here comes our lunges. We are on 1 minute of work to finish off class, to finish off day 8.
