What if that tree falls on top of the car? You got insurance? I don't know. Yeah, well, you're gonna get a big bill. Business write-off. I need more of those, huh? Oh, hey, how y'all doing?
Good, what do you need?
Yep, uh, well, I don't need anything right now. We're actually doing the bugs, so our truck's in your guys's neighborhood tomorrow. We're getting everybody set up for over half off. You're the boss here, right?
I don't—
you got the wrong number.
No, no, no.
I'm here because I want to help you guys out. Our truck's here tomorrow.
For what?
The bugs, the ants, the spiders.
Get out of here.
Ah, have a good one. Take care. What? Okay, don't worry about it. I have no idea what that was. Yeah, I'm good with what we got. All right, you're dog friendly?
Yeah, yeah.
Take care, dude. When it comes to the bugs, you guys have a company yet or still not yet for like pest control, like to spray the house? I don't think I need that. Howdy, you the boss man here?
Yeah.
Cool, cool. Good news, we've got the truck out in your guys's community today. We're just doing the bugs. Your name?
Akua.
Akua, dude, you're buff.
Thank you.
What do you do?
I just work out for fun.
There you go. That's fun. You don't have a company?
We don't have a company. Cool.
High five. And you basically call the shots here, right?
Pretty much, yeah.
Okay. I just want to make sure I'm talking to the boss man.
Okay.
No problem.
We'll do a base spray around the foundation of the home, Akua. That way nothing gets in. Let's talk, man. What do you do for work again? Is it East Street or what?
Oh no, East Street. I did it like during the.
Is that like Uber or something, bro?
Yeah, it's pretty much like we'll.
You like it? No, not really.
It didn't pay well.
No?
So I did EatStreet for like a year back in 2020.
Okay, cool. That's when I was DoorDashing, bro. That was a busy time, bro.
Yeah, it was busy.
What's the square footage here, man? You know, ballpark, like under or over 1,000?
We're looking under 1,000.
That's good. Okay, Akua, you don't have any major issues? It's just like the preventative stuff?
Yeah, absolutely.
And then I— go ahead. I did have Okay, here we go.
A mice infestation.
Houston, we have a problem. When was that, bro?
Last year.
Okay, and then where were the mice mainly?
Look in the attic.
Okay, gotcha.
Um, well, if you follow me this way, I can show you.
Yeah, let's go check it out. And then what's a good phone number for you? 920-920. It's a good email for you. So mice were over here. I'm just making a note right here.
Absolutely.
Nice.
Well, Yeah, basically that's the crack down here.
Okay.
We did eventually fix the roof. They went in trying to come through the roof.
Oh shoot, they were getting in up here.
There is cracks in here that they went through as well.
Dude, they were getting everywhere. Are they under the shed currently, as you know, or what?
We have no clue. I think they might be under, so you guys would have to check, but it's either from there or from the back.
Dude, you'll like this. Okay, so if the mice are under here, we'll get all that. Well, I mean, we're going to guarantee the mice, and you know they're only going to get worse during the wintertime.
Oh, absolutely.
Yeah. So here's what I got for you. This March 3rd, I'll be hosting the Maser Sales Training Arena, and every speaker is somebody who has changed my life personally. Let's go back to the video. I don't ever have anybody back out and what's cool is there is a money-back guarantee. So, let's say for some reason I'm unable to take care of the mice or the ants or anything.
Okay.
Just let me know and it will just— there's a money-back guarantee. Like, if I can't fix it, money-back guarantee. But I'm gonna have this all emailed over to you. That's it. We'll get out of your hair. Yeah, no, no worries, bro. I'm happy we could help you, dude. Any fun plans for the weekend?
Looks— I'm going to a wedding tomorrow, so I was wondering what time you guys gonna come back.
I'll put you on the Monday slot. It's my apologies. I thought we had Saturday, but they booked it.
No worries.
I'm still gonna squeeze you in. It was so easy too, because he's like, oh, I have mice. And guess what I started to do as we were walking to the back? You guys hear me collect all this information? Yeah, I collected everything, so there was no need to even be like, "Hey, yeah, what's a good phone number?" I saw you were like, "Yeah, what's your name?" Oh dude, I knew that he was gonna buy immediately, so I'm like, "Hey dude, as we're walking, what's your number? What's your email? Perfect." And then the final close was, "This is everything. Go ahead and sign right there." Yeah, I mean, because you got so close to one before, and then yeah. Imagine if I had let that energy of like being pissed off carry over into the next deal. One la ha ha! Main thing we're doing out here is all the ants and the spiders. We just moved in here. Oh congrats!
Literally a week ago.
Oh, high five. That was a good high five. As far as the bugs go, I know the ants have been bad along the edges right here.
Yeah, we sprayed and put traps over them.
The cool thing is, I'm glad you did something. Those— that'll— you'll notice a decline initially, and then they just keep coming back in droves. And at the same time, the next like 3 to 4 months are gonna be awful with bugs. And so I do a new homeowner's discount. Okay, so this is— congratulations. This is like our first-time homeowner. Congrats. Um, how long y'all been married for?
Oh gosh, a year and a half.
Cool.
Yep. So your names one more time? Charlie.
Lydia.
Lydia. I'm Austin.
Okay, nice to meet you.
I don't want you guys to have to deal with the occasional ant, Charlie and Lydia. I would rather just not deal with them at all. Sure. So that, that yard service will eliminate them at their source.
Yep.
How'd you guys meet?
We were neighbors our senior year and our friend set us up.
Well guys, um, we'll make this really affordable because I don't want to break the bank. You guys just moved in for first new home and, uh, I know we have the delayment on the mortgage, so like hopefully we're gonna make the price like fit so that it doesn't feel like a big decision. Okay, who's gonna be the one to call? Is that gonna be you, Charlie, or you, Lydia?
Realistically me if we do it.
Okay, okay.
I have access to a phone more than he does during the day.
I hear you. You're planting trees, brother. Yep, that's cool. Um, Lydia, what's a good number for you?
920.
And then lastly, just a good email for you, Lydia?
@gmail.com.
Look at that, that's free. Okay guys, okay, great. Thank you. Free, free ant.
Wow.
Listen, I, I like to go above and beyond now. It's funny, you're a funny guy. I— listen, I remember what it was like to buy our first home, and I remember the stress, but I'm like I also remember the bugs, and this was the first thing we got set up when we moved in because we saw— we saw, um, at our house, we're from Georgia, we saw roaches. Dude, I kid you not, first thing my wife did was like, before we could even like unpack boxes, she's like, get, get rid of them now.
How many months a year are we paying for it though? Because—
I'm glad you brought that up. So the winter service is the most important service. A lot of people think that the bugs die during, during Christmas time and then Jesus brings them back to life for Easter.
Amen.
Hallelujah. But they're all underground. Yep. They're all in the wall voids. And so when I do that treatment in the winter, it flushes them out and breaks up the, the treatment. Because the bugs you see during spring and summer actually started their harvesting during the winter. But I'm just telling you, the mice are bad.
Yeah.
Every house I talk to, everybody gets them during the winter. So we'll cover all that too.
Is monthly 12 months a year, even though we're not—
Because think of it like this, it's a guarantee, right?
Sure.
And so any in-between those services, if you guys see anything, if I end up needing to come out here 12 times a year because you're still seeing stuff, That's not— I mean, we'll do it for you, okay? I'll just have you sign there in that white box saying I went over that with you.
Can we get down to a 12-month initial?
Do you guys own the house?
Yes. We're not paying right now, right?
You know you're not.
You're not.
This is to get you signed. Well, no, this is to sign you guys up, okay? So I get you set up as I go, especially because we're training these kids.
Yep.
Be level with me. What's the main thing? Kind of like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, you know? Don't want to sign right away.
Yeah, we have things to consider, and we're getting our basement looked at next week.
Cool. Exciting. So it's mainly just the price. That's it. You said the backyard is like kind of big.
It's not. You can walk around.
Okay. Can I meet you guys back there? Kind of see what we're looking at? You're going to get objections and the objection is going to be the spousal objection. You're going to run the play. Resolve. Totally hear you. Let's ask people what spouses do for work today and let's converse with them. Okay. And see, like, what does your wife do for work? Somebody have fun and come up with fun job titles. I'm from Georgia, so I always talk about my wife's a security guard at the local Waffle House.
I want to live there.
I want to live there.
Yeah, dude, I love that, man. I love Waffle House. Well, hey, come look at this. One thing to keep in mind. Or everybody repeat after me. Let me just ask you this. How big is the backyard? How big is the backyard? And then they're going to say something. I really don't care. And I'll go, dude, let me, let me go check that out because I want to see what I can do for you. And then everybody say, is there a gate on this side or that side? Is there a gate on this side or that side? And then do the walk of faith. And so the reality is, Charlie, I know you're not sold at all. You're super skeptical. You're like, who is this bald guy talking to my wife? My wife is about to sign up and you're like, oh, I'm nervous. I don't want to do it. It's like, dude, I think this makes total sense. I just like to research things and look at your competition. I'll just stand at the curb.
Great.
And then you guys either say, Austin, we're good.
Okay.
Or Austin, get out. This, Charlie, I'm doing this for you.
Yeah.
Because your wife's already ready to buy. I've been doing this for a while.
I was killing ants this morning in our living room.
Okay, your wife is already ready to buy it.
Yeah.
But I see where you're coming from. I want you guys to have that, like, security, know that it's a good decision. I'm gonna walk away.
For sure.
And then you guys just talk about it. And then I do this. I'm not kidding. Nine out of ten times, I walk back and they're like, okay. Alrighty.
It's a no dog.
He's not a confident male, and so he can't make decisions. Like that is truthfully. It's so sad. It hurts my heart when I see marriages like that. When there's a dude that's just such a girl because the girl had more masculine energy than him. And when I was pitching, he was like, like. Like really like, but, but, and she was a decision maker. She was ready to go, but he was a weenie. Yeah. And that's going to affect their marriage. Like actually, because he's not like it like this. I know this. I'm not trying to be a jerk on my, like even this one on my YouTube page. I'm not trying to be a jerk. The masculine feminine energy in that relationship is so out of whack. It's so bad. 3, 2, 1. Why is that not You know what? It was right there. Well, that's far away, dude. That's like super far, isn't it?
I don't think so.
Yeah, no, it's like 40 miles. Hopefully 9 minutes doesn't kill us.
Whoa!
And 3, and 2, and 1. And 3, and 2, 1. Are we nervous yet? Let's hit this door.
This?
Yeah, I love this. Why? They let you right in?
Nah, I just—
I mess with the weather. I'm just going to my car.
