Many sales trainers use their courses as recruiting funnels to poach reps from pest-control companies. A trainer joins a university, gets access to thousands of reps, then hires them away to his own organization. Managers should hire trainers with no hidden agenda instead.

Stop using other sales universities that have other sales trainers that are still actively recruiting, otherwise you'll lose your entire downline. Let's just use this story because we're in pest control. Let's just use the name Peter Parker. Peter Parker decides to do some sales training and he still is actively recruiting for his company. He gets on a university where he can get exposure for thousands of pest reps all across the country. Well, then this Peter Parker decides to pick off all these reps. So all these kids that are using this university are getting picked off and companies are left without their reps because they're going to some massive company. I'm just using the name Peter Parker for fun because we're in pest control. It's like Spider-Man. There's no correlation at all, right? How about instead you hire me, just this normal bald dude who wants to get your reps better. I literally just want you to buy my course. There's no ulterior motives. If you're a manager and you want somebody you can trust to train your reps, hire me, not Peter Parker.
