I can do this, Ricky. Saying that more to convince myself. How's that, dude? All right, we're good now. The inaugural Maser Sales Training Mastermind was a massive success and lives were changed. The very first night I got to give a little bit of a keynote, share my story about how I got into door-to-door. I'll get into all the sales stuff here in a second, but I want to talk life with you guys. So a lot of you guys made a lot of sacrifices to get here right now, and everything in life, if we have intention with it, it's— we, we do way better. A lot of my one-on-one calls, they don't end up turning into spouse objections, they turn into mindset, life, what's going on. And so I want to share with you guys a little bit of my story, but I want you guys to listen to it in the perspective of, okay, how does this pertain to me, right? Y'all aren't here to just listen to me. You're here to take something from my story, and I just hope it might bless you to be able to go and do something even bigger with your own lives. I hope that there's so many of you guys here that end up doing way more than I've ever done. That's my goal as a coach. I love coaching. I'm the only coach in the entire freaking industry that does this just because I love coaching. There's no ulterior motive here. I literally just want to pour into you guys. Guys, what you're seeing right now is just a sneak peek of this mastermind, and I promise you, you'll wish you had been there. Go ahead and plug in my course where you can actually see the full trainings from this mastermind, because this is the mindset stuff that truly moves the needle after you've mastered the technical stuff. Guys, if your mindset isn't there What you say doesn't really matter because you don't really believe in yourself. And so you need to dial in on the mastermind, guys. Just seeing the footage is going to help you, but being there is a totally separate thing. If you want to be there next year for my Summer Kickoff Mastermind, DM me the word mastermind and I'll let you reserve your spot early. See you guys soon. Enjoy the rest of the video. And guys, it's so good to have a mentor that will be able to call you can call on and he'll be able to tell you like what's going on. And they don't fluff anything up. They're like, "Dude, this is what's going on. This is what I recommend you do." And they're not worried about hurting your feelings. They just want the best for you. That's who Jeremy is to me. I call them up. I can't sell at a high level.
I don't know what's going on.
There are a lot of limiting beliefs that were going on. I was like, "Dude, I don't know. Like I'm the Golden Door guy. Like what's happening? I'm only selling like 2 to 4 a day. What's going on?" And he sent me a text message that I'll never forget. He said, "Dude, this is how you check yourself." He goes, "How's your relationship with God? How's your relationship with yourself? How's your relationship with your wife? Then with your kids, then with your community, and then dead freaking last." Guess what was on the list? Work. Work. That's it. For me, being a dad is the coolest thing in the world. Being a husband, coolest thing in the world. So as a coach, like I'm super biased. I think all of y'all, look outside of this stuff of like, I want to buy the Lamborghini, I want to buy the car, I want to buy the house, stonks, crypto, real estate. I promise you there's so much more to life than just selling a certain amount of accounts. All this stuff that you're doing— and guys, there's nothing more in the world I love than my daughters. I want you guys to realize like everything I share with you guys today, there's like a way bigger purpose than just selling a lot of accounts. What impact are you going to have on your family and on the world? And that's kind of where I want to start there. After that, we got to hear from Kony Dole. Now—
Projects? Come on now. They call it the Huntley Projects. It's a bunch of farm projects. It's not. It's the only projects Montana's got. I can't give this guy enough praise. I get emotional talking about this guy. You can see how he feels about me. But we pushed each other so hard when we were with each other at Anthem. I'll give you guys a little background on me. Went to school in Montana, grew up there in a little small town. I went to college and then when I got out of college I was broke, didn't know what to do. I had a buddy reach out to me and I was ski bumming all over the Bozeman area. And he said, I'll pay for your ticket, I think you'd be good at this, you should come out. And we went down to Arizona and we started selling Dish Network. I sold it for 3 months. Within 2 days, I was hooked. I was like, wait. And my roommate, his name was Sonup Jyot Rawal. He's a North Indian Punjabi. He was so freaking good at this, man. But I was grateful to get roomed with him. But I attached to his hip and I got hooked, man. I was like, wait, how much money did you just make right there? He's like, my life has taken a lot of dips and turns. It's been all sorts of crazy, whether it be adversity I've had to overcome, or vices I've had to deal with, I've always been chasing that next thing. Have you guys ever heard that expression, "At the top of every mountain is the bottom of the next"? That was like my saying. But the problem with that is it's true. At the top of every mountain is the bottom of the next. But the problem if you're chasing that next thing in order to fill a void, what do you think happens? I'll be like, "What's step one?" And I always revert back to this word.
Believe.
You have to believe almost delusionally. But ever since I can remember, I've had a football in my hand. How many of you guys know about Samoans? That's all they— they live and breathe rugby, football. They love sports, okay? You guys with me here? And they like their kava and some good barbecues, of course. But my dad lived and breathed it down my neck. I can remember early on him telling me constantly, you're going to be great, you're going to be great, you're going to be great. So him instilling that what in me? That belief, okay? Some of those small things, like I can remember my mom, it gives me goosebumps thinking back to this. But her saying to me, you're meant to do big things. I could get emotional thinking about this, she's, ah. She, I mean, just the smallest things, but them instilling that what in me, that what? That belief. Okay, you guys with me here? Go to the dial-up internet and I type in Montana State Bobcats logo, I print it out, I go tape it above my door. I'm in 6th grade. You guys with me here? I didn't know this yet, but I'm putting everything into fruition that's about to take place. And this is where the adversity comes into place. I ended up breaking my leg, compound fracture. I mean, it was fourth quarter, we're down 7. It's everything you could think of. Ultimately, that compound fracture ended up through complications leading to me having to have my leg amputated below the knee. Okay, so I'm missing my right leg below the knee. How do you think I feel when door-to-door reps tell me their feet hurt?
Shut the—
I've got this. I've got everything laid out in front of me. The coaching staff has talked to me. I have an offer to go play at my dream college. And then this happens. I grab my mom's laptop. I'm punching on there, you know, amputees that play sports. Like, it's, you know, Google searches like that. And I'm just seeing what's out there. And I was like, okay, this is possible. Yeah, let's amputate it. Let's move forward. Let's get it going. Within a month and a half, like, this is my mindset going into this. Within a month and a half, and again, my parents being who they were, what do you think they told me? You can do this. You can do it. You can do it. So the community I had around me believed as well. You guys with me here? Okay, so belief is where? It's here. All right? Believe. Of course, you got to believe in yourself. How do you believe in yourself again though after going through all that? You got to, you got to, you've got to build yourself back up. And that's where I want to get at with where I led into door-to-door. When I first joined door-to-door, the reason I fell in love with it, That guy I'm telling you about, I keep bringing him up because he was everything to me in the time. I'm not a spiritual guy. I didn't grow up in any church or anything like that. He's a Punjabi. He would take me to the temple. I started doing things that were outside of myself, but I leaned into him because he was a higher performer. He was making money I wanted to make. He was doing things that I wanted to be.
A lot of you guys don't know this, but my biggest numbers in door-to-door came as a result from going head-to-head with Kony in this competition at Anthem called the Coliseum. We even had this, uh, the Bruce Buffett from the UFC announce our competition in the finals one year. Completely epic battles that him and I had that pushed ourselves to the max. But what we were able to find out is like, at that time, dude, we kind of hated each other. That's not really the best way to go about competition. Competition can be a healthy thing where you push each other, but but you don't need to hate your competitors. Unless it's Utah versus BYU, then you can do everything you want. But after that, we went to bed and woke up the next morning. It's time, guys!
Woo!
Wakey, wakey!
10!
Let's go! Did this awesome team workout. Nathaniel Olson at Gen Marketing let us use his gym. I led a little workout because Cameron had his 23rd birthday, so we did a whole like 23-themed workout. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Cameron, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Okay, once you— I die. 23, baby! So, how long did that take us to do? From start to finish? It was just cool to get everybody together. Guys, working out in the morning is such an important part of your morning routine in summer sales. So if you're not doing it, Start doing it and DM me workout if you need a couple workouts to use for the summer. But after that, guys, Flojas was such an incredible experience. TJ was able to lead us through a really cool sauna thing. I forget the name of it, but it was really freaking cool. And he was waving his towel all over the place. Dude's like third in the, in the nation on towel waving in saunas. There's a freaking sport about that, I guess. Uh, but it was incredible experience. Just a great way to start the day and start off on a good note. Uh, workshop was incredible, but the coolest thing ever was being able to come back that night and hear from my mentor who got me into door-to-door in the first place. Guy poured into me, and I would not be where I am today without Jeremy Davis.
So, different perspectives, right? So, in regards to your question, I don't lose momentum when I go home because I'm with my family. My family accelerates that momentum. Being with my wife and kids accelerates that. So, I can go faster and I can go longer. And remember, I'm juggling relationship with God, fatherhood, being a spouse, and selling. So, I can't go all in here and disregard all 3 of these. But I didn't know anything about real estate. So, I got my license. And my broker, the one that runs the office, was like, "Hey, most realtors sell 1 home." And I did the math. I was like... It just goes back to perspective and wise. My wise right now is charity work. Honor my dad's legacy and pour into my kids. Like my kids, we just went blew a ton of money on a Jazz game. 2 months ago, I flew them out to San Francisco. We went to see a Warriors game. One of the best pieces of advice I can give you guys is one, go buy this book. And then what you'll do with this book is you'll make a 2-year goal with all the 5 types of wealth that he talks about. Get the financial number for that. And then ask yourself, "Do I want to hit that in 2 years or 1 year?" And then just go all out. Okay? These guys, the dude that sells Zero to Three, they actually outwork these guys. They're just scrambling all over the place like hamsters in a wheel. But they just don't have the skill set. They're not good, right? And they don't have the systems in place and they're trying to wear all the hats. So they're trying to be the CEO, the secretary, the finance manager, all that. These guys don't do that. So as you get more developed, you realize, oh, it's different things I need. So for you to go from there to there, it's only inputs. You already know how to sell pest control. How many years have you sold?
This is actually my rookie year selling.
I've been in sales for about 5 years.
What were you doing before?
I've done windows, doors, siding.
Are you in an office that has reps that have done what you want to do? Yes.
Perfect.
So I'd take them out to lunch and I would get their exact daily routine and then just shadow them for a couple days. That's what I do. The difference you'll see is the ones that are up here, like the Austins that are up here, it's literally just because they worked all the hours and they studied the books.
He's such an example of how to be a good husband and father, and I love getting to see how he lives his life. And that's ultimately what inspired me to bring him in to be able to share to other door-to-door salesmen. Because door-to-door salesmen— I mean, I really do think there's an epidemic of divorce in door-to-door because guys are not pouring into themselves, they're not investing in their relationship with God or their wives, and ultimately that's super unfulfilling. You can make all the money in the world, but if you're not living If you're not putting the main thing as the main thing and putting God first, being a good husband, good father, you're really missing the mark in door-to-door. So if you want to go back and watch that, uh, hop on my training course and I'll have some of that training up on the app. Uh, lastly guys, we got to do breathwork. In breathwork, you break through a lot of limiting beliefs. It's pretty crazy what you can do with your breath. I mean, you literally can have these like energy releases. And it all goes back to our bodies are full of energy, like we are energy. And so if you're not processing emotions, then you're going to hold on to a lot of negative energy. Breathwork really allows a lot of these guys to process through limiting beliefs. And a lot of guys had amazing breakthroughs. One guy in particular in my mastermind had the desire to want to get to know God, and previously had known nothing about God. Because we talked so openly about God in my masterminds, He was like, dude, like, tell me more about this. Life-changing, guys. Um, and then lastly, like, coolest thing in the world, we were able to go on a hike in the morning on the final day, just spend time in nature as a team because we had bonded. And, uh, the very last event to cap everything off, we got to hear from Ben Kerr. So I got to hear Ben Kerr speak at Corey Clark's Collective Mastermind for mental health. The thing's freaking dope. I mean, Corey Clark is a G for putting that together, but I got to hear Ben Carrey at that event. I reached out to Ben Carrey, and Ben Carrey has been a mentor to me over the last year.
He asked, how do you develop the belief mindset to basically, when you want to go after something, you put it out there. I call it calling my shot. You guys saw the 3XSC on Letterman. How many of you guys know what a Letterman jacket is?
Raise your hand.
How many of you guys had one in high school? How many of you guys still wear 'em on the weekends? Come on, I know you guys, right? That changed my life. I teach, when I speak on stage, I teach 3 things, and this is what changed my life. I've studied the highest levels of leaders, of athletes, quote unquote successful people in companies, and they all do 3 things. Once you do these 3 things, you will accomplish 95% of your goals. That's a crazy stat. I was like begging to get 95 in grades in, in school, right? So here's the thing. Number 1, call your shot. There's 2 biggest fears in mankind: fear of failure, fear of not being enough. Those 2 will manipulate us, crush, annihilate what our next step is if we let it. Number 1, call your shot. Make sure your 3XSC is so clear. What I love about the Golden Door, right? And what Sam put together was, it's clear, shot callers, disobey average. Show up during the assemblies, show up before when your coach, when the people around you say, do 20 pushups. Come on, guys. You ain't here. You ain't part of what he's doing. If you're average, disobey average. Those 20 pushups that your coach tells you to do, minimum. That's key. I'm at the Olympic Training Center. And there's a guy my age named Jordan Burroughs. He's a 7-time world champion right now. And I remember all of us racing. We towed the line, I was on the line, we're looking at the Olympic coach. He's like, "Go!" And we run to the wall and we run back. I would be lying if I said people weren't jumping to touch the wall.
Why?
Did we get a gold medal? We hated to lose. He's like, "Do you hate?" losing or do you like winning? It talked about levels of leadership, if you remember that. And then it says the top level of leadership are leaders who are vulnerable. That shocked me. Men do this themselves. We put our pain and our pressure on our back. I guarantee your wife would step up and be like, oh my gosh, what can I do more? To help out, not take your job, not take your place, but to be a shot caller, bro. You're calling your shot and you're allowing no shot callers in the game. Good freaking luck, dude. We need people. How do we do that? Vulnerability is power. I'm gonna tell you your Twix moment, the addiction that you're going through, the divorce that you're going through, the divorce that your parents went through and they said it was your fault. Whatever you're going through that is the darkest moment, what if you saw it as the sweetest moment? What if the people that you allow in your life entered your life and that moment, the darkest moment, whatever that is, ended up being on purpose for a reason? The world was working for you, not against you, and it became the sweetest moment. I call that my Twix moment.
Ben Carra is somebody who inspired me to take a leap of faith and call my shot with throwing this event. And just building this training business. I'll always remember the phone call I had where he helped me cast vision for what I was going to do with Major Sales Training. And the first time I shared him my goals, he was like, "Yeah, dude, uh, those are good goals. You really don't need my help to accomplish that." He invited me to think big and to cast a massive vision. Came back to the table with new goals, and it forced me to become a different person. Ben is the master at calling your shot, putting shot callers in your corner to help hold you accountable, and then putting a shot clock, meaning a time limit. So if you want to hear some of his speech to us after we got to hear his movie Stand Out, go check out the training course because we're going to have snippets of his speech to us on the course. Guys, if you want to be a part of these masterminds, DM me the word mastermind on Instagram. I'll send you a link so that you can actually book your ticket early to next year's March mastermind before we start the summer. I'll also be having a mastermind here in fall that you can come to at the very end of the season. And if you commit to Golden Door or Bald and you're in my coaching program, I have a little incentive for you for the end of the year. So make sure to message me if you wanna be part of my fall mastermind. And I'll see you guys come this October for that next event. Super excited to have you there. Dates are coming soon, guys. This is life-changing. If you haven't invested in yourself in a community event, you need to join my mastermind this fall. See you guys there. Good Gandhi, dude. I've— I'm getting better at talking to a camera. Oh, my butt's sore. Is that still being
