Maser Sales Training X Spartan Race ATL 2026

The video is a vlog‑style documentation of Austin Maser and his friends (David, Ricky, Tyler, Norman, James) taking part in a Spartan Race in Conyers, Georgia. The footage mixes live race commentary, humorous banter, and personal anecdotes. Austin recounts a three‑day “farm experience” with Spartan founder Joe DeSena, describing hazing rituals and the perseverance of a fellow participant, James. Throughout the race he highlights obstacles, injuries, and the group’s camaraderie, using the event as a metaphor for tackling hard things in life. Interwoven is a promotion for his sales‑roleplay group: he explains how the group operates, the skills participants develop, and offers a free “major sales training” hat to anyone who DMs the word “hat.” He also references a non‑alcoholic beer (Upside Dawn) as a personal preference tied to his faith. The vlog concludes with each participant reflecting on how the race serves as an “anchor” for future motivation, tying the physical challenge to personal and professional growth.

I was like, come on guys, you missed your calling in life. I work my ass all day too. Pulled up on James here. Good to see you, brother. Good to see you too, Austin. One of the most inspiring people I ever met, dude. So thanks so much for stopping, dude. I'll see you at the finish line. Absolutely. See you. Love, brother. Take care. Okay, I'm dropping in our group. All right, a little background on that. So I went to Joe DeSena's house, founder of this whole psycho thing, and, uh, participated in the farm experience. And I got to see people get hazed for 3 days straight. They were like having a freaking— they were just suffering. I remember pouring a bucket of water on someone's head because we were minions to like torture these people. We poured a bucket of water on this lady's head, she broke down crying, and now they want me to go do it. So run into that guy, maybe I'll end up going to the death race, but that's James. So I did the farm experience with James, and the guy's inspiring. Does all these Spartan races, doesn't let anything stop him. So I spent 3 days with James, and, uh, he's a freaking cool guy. Anybody else would have gotten an excuse not to do any of this stuff, but he continues to push himself. Let's keep ripping! Woo! Woo! Let's go! Hey, round 2, Ricky! Let's go, Ricky! Where's David at? Is he long gone? Well, this is what we do in our spare time. Nice Sunday stroll. Yeah, maybe I'll come to your market this summer, sell with you, and then do a Spartan race with you on the weekend. Nobody got hit this time. There we go. Thank you. Oh yeah! Oh, he wants to do 3. Woo! Yeah! I am a Spartan! Good job! Woo! Hell yeah! Hey, you mind? All right, Norman. Let's hear an aru! Usually it's aru! I know you're watching this YouTube episode thinking it's only Spartan races, but we also have something really cool with my roleplay group. Dave has been in it since October, right? Yeah. Tell me about the roleplay group. I see like a lot of improvement over the 5, 6 months I've been in it. Like, maybe It really started seeing, like, it probably when I was on the doors, actually, you know, when I started connecting with people and like, I just know so much from the calls. I'm just throwing it out there. I'm like, holy crap. Like, next thing you know, I'm like really good at the DIY framework. And then I try out Spouse or Friend, really good at it. Like, wow. Like all this training actually is paying off right now. So if you just keep going With the roleplays, like, you're gonna start noticing that, like, phrases just start flying out of your mouth, and you're gonna get really, really good. David's been in it since October, first guy to ever join him. I roleplay Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday for an hour. That'll still happen during the summer, um, so some of you guys are gonna listen to that on your way to area. But if you join the roleplay group and DM me the word hat, I'll send you a free major sales training hat. Okay, right to your house. So join the roleplay group and DM me the word hat, and I'll send you a hat to your house. Super cool. Okay guys, back to the episode, and you guys are gonna see Norman get a cramp that almost ended his life. He almost quit the job. Okay, so with this, grab the verticals, not the horizontals, and treat the two verticals like a rope. One-handed? We need to pay you extra. That sounds good. Got it on film. You got to do it now. I am a Spartan. Yeah. Oh yeah, baby. I got a good one right here. Dude, this one was meant for you. It's a really good one. I mean, it's really nice. Thank you, sir. That was heavy. That long one with your weak arm, because you want to have a good hold. So you're going to go left, right. So I'm going to go right, left, right. I'm going to hold the— no, but I want, I want my right arm to hold on to the red one while I'm reaching for the pole here. Oh, good. Oh yeah, oh yeah! Let's go, Norman! Let her rip! Come on, stabilize! There you go! Dude, you missed your calling in life, Norman. I'm gonna drop my bag off at the end just because you're gonna turn into a mud monster right here. Ready? 3, 2, 1. Oh baby! Actually, never mind, that would hurt. That was really— let's go! It smells bad too. Oh dude! Oh, it's soup. Oh dude, this is how our grandparents got to school. Dude, go right, go right, go right. Well, I'm gonna go right. Oh, I got pricked. Cow manure. It is cow manure. It's a spa day. Yeah, this is our spa day right here. Oh dude, on the belly. Oh gosh, there's a little ledge here, guys. Is there like a Creature of the Blue Lagoon clip? Like a monster from Scooby-Doo that's like a mud monster? I think so. We do it for the content. Yep. Oh no, for the content! You're floating! There's a hole there, bro. Feels good, baby. Camouflage. Look like Shrek, dude. That's perfect. Go! I hate that that's the first reaction I had when you said my life. I was trying to, you know, hype you up, man. Nope. We're taking it. Taking the pedal to the metal. You guys make it? No. I have to do that to save my life's kids. My kids' lives. I have to take it. Okay. Let's go, baby! Figure that out. Climb up it, climb up it, climb up it, and then you can drop or you can keep using your lats. If you just drop your— are our guides, so wherever they go and tell— that is cold water. Norman, I thought that was a snake. I'm like, oh no, how, how, how, uh How close are you to that phone that you have right there? How much do you care about that phone? Holy crap! Yeah, hey, we could just shower in this real quick. Watch your step. That's an easy way to get through right there. Good luck. Oh, my necklace is so caked in mud. Oh boy. Yeah, will you hold on to me for a minute? Yeah. Grey 10 plus red clay. Well, panic! I'm dying. Oh, Norman, I knew I wasn't going to make it. My family, I love them. Here's mustard. You have to eat this for me. Here's the mustard. Just down it with the applesauce. Down it now. Oh, do the applesauce right after. Get my shrimp! Suck it down, man. Dude, you got it, Norman. Just suck down the applesauce after, but you got to squeeze that mustard out, man. Lawsuit incoming. I'm quitting. Never working with you again. I'm retiring. That's protein. All right, Norman, don't work with me yourself, man. He tries to kill you in the woods. He doesn't have to pay you, dude. We'll tip you extra on this one. I just want to be able to get home. Oh gosh, I need water too. Tell us what today's been like. I hate you. I'm never working here again. I'm going back to Canada. You're gonna go back to teching? I'm gonna go be a service tech. I'll be killing all your cockroaches and all that stuff. Is that better than this? Mm-hmm. It's horrible. Now I gotta drink murky Swamp water. Oh, this is— this is how you get hepatitis. Oh, that's so— you got to say, 'I am a Spartan,' before drinking this. I'm a Spartan. Spartan that hates you. Oh, that's disgusting. We're good now. Oh, no way, no way, no way. Oh my God. Dude, you're the main character of this episode now. I quit. I want to renegotiate my contract. Okay, here you go. Oh, you can go one at a time. Y'all don't have to do it that way. Yes, you do. David's doing great. Here we go, David! We got it! Oh yeah, baby! It's raining right now, dude. Feels good. Here's the next obstacle. I didn't get any footage of them because I was dying, but I'm gonna go to them. See them over there. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we don't drink beer. However, we got non-alcoholic beer here. It's called Upside Dawn by Athletic Brewing Company. Taste review. I like that. I like it. I like that. Good thing I'm a member of the church, otherwise I'd be crazy. You don't like that? No. I like it. All right, stay away from alcohol. Yeah, it's a little gross. Alright Ricky, we finished the Spartan Race. How is this going to relate to your summer? Um, I don't know. I'll just remember the good times we had, the support. Ow! It was really emotional for me actually. Alright dude, you got pricked 2 minutes into the race. Had to rescue you. Okay Tyler, how does this apply to life for you? I'm putting you on camera. Just do hard things. Do something hard every day. Let's go! And David, how's this relate to your Golden Door Summer? Yeah, well, I wanted to do something hard before the summer, so I was looking for this. And I would say I already have a win for the week, so no matter how many sales I want to get, like, I already won this week and I know I'm gonna do good. So yeah, I'm excited and good memories. I got this! So every time I think about this I'm gonna think about all the guys I did the Spartan Race with. That's an anchor. So in life, when you do something hard or do something really cool, get an anchor so you can look back on something physical and you always remember it. That's all we got.
