Before anything in a sales process can even start, the first step is prospecting. And prospecting defined is just finding the person who is most likely to buy right now. And so when we knock this street, we're going to stick to the houses that have got cars in the driveway, number one. But for example, here you'll see a car to the right side of the driveway. It could be that someone's there, but most of the time the decision maker is going to park closest to the door. That's not always correct. But just, there's these little tricks that you can keep in mind. If there are no cars in the driveway, but you see tire marks going into the garage, it's very likely that they parked their car, so it's a 50/50 toss-up. If there are no cars in the driveway and you see two little oil spills in the driveway, it means that they typically park their cars in the driveway, but they're not home. Look for open blinds. Look for kids out in the yard playing. That means parents are probably home, so you can go talk to the family. So in the very beginning of the day, We kind of want to spot knock to use our time most efficiently. We're not just going to go straight down the street and knock every single house. Right now it's about 10:45, so we want to be wise with what doors we're knocking. As we get closer to 4 to 5 o'clock, more people will be coming home, and then that's when you can start to go straight down the street because all the houses will have everybody at the house.
