The recording captures a live, diarized coaching and field‑sales session among a door‑to‑door sales team that sells fiber internet (and occasionally pest‑control services). The team reviews daily performance (e.g., 39 deals yesterday, goal of 7 deals today), shares motivational talk, and drills specific pitch scripts. Key tactics include starting with a low‑commitment, “try‑it‑out” framing, then transitioning to a firm commitment to cancel the incumbent (Spectrum/Verizon). The speakers discuss handling objections (price, spouse involvement, contract concerns), using hot‑button triggers (gaming, video‑streaming buffering), and capturing lead data (first name, last name, email, phone) before calling. They also compare the sales approach to pest‑control rescission rules, emphasizing the danger of offering a free‑trial without a lock‑in. The session includes role‑play coaching, focus‑maintenance tips (snack breaks, mental resets), and promotion details (first month free, $79/month, $300 credit). The team stresses the importance of staying calm, being professional, and joining a structured role‑play group for continuous improvement. Throughout, the dialogue alternates between real door knocks, internal debriefs, and logistical coordination (scheduling, payment collection).

on the fence, you're like, yeah, I mean, most the neighbors figured like, look, they could save $800 this year, um, it'd for sure be worth trying out. So I can just get you guys on the list and, you know, give it a shot for me. I think you'll love it. Um, what's your first name, by the way? I'll put you in here, right? Just like a very calm, assumptive— but you slipped in that little $800 a year or whatever. They're thinking about that. They're like, oh shit, that's a lot. It's my whole— that's my whole Christmas gift budget. Exactly, times 2 or whatever. So, okay, well, let's, uh, let's get after it.
Big day.
We did 39 yesterday, and that's with Naaman having food poisoning, um, and, uh, Austin just figuring it out and starting late, me starting late. I think today with everybody getting out on the dirt doors early and Naaman hopefully not eating a bad McMuffin again—
you know, your body is sending you a message. Yeah, it's saying I should really chew my food more.
We're gonna have ourselves a great Tuesday, and honestly, with the group we have, I really think we can hit 60. I think 50+ is a lock if we all push hard, and I think we all have a good day.
We, we 60+.
So that's what all I've got. See you guys in the chat, and we're on the home stretch here with this blitz, so let's just head down and get it done. Appreciate you guys and all the hard work you're doing.
Thanks, brother.
Take care, fellas.
Okay, see ya.
Alright, day 2, internet camp. That was just a quick training call, and one of the nuggets that I got from that call was, yes, you want to start out really hypothetical, like, yeah, you can just try it out. And then one— and then instead of saying, if you like us, you can keep us, just say, yeah, once you see that we're way faster, we'll just cancel out Spectrum. That way you actually can have that faster internet. And so there's a danger, and you see this in pest control a lot, there's a danger in telling people that they can just try it out. Like, this would be the equivalent of telling somebody in pest control that they have a 3-day right of rescission. And they just cancel after 3 days. Well, you're not gonna get paid on that. All your commissions are gonna get called back. In this job, it's like, hey, you need to help them realize, like, when you start the door approach, it's really non-threatening, like, yes, you can try it out. By the time you're done, they need to know that they're going to call and cancel Spectrum at some point. So this is kind of how I do my switchover pitch in pest control. Starts out hypothetical, by the very end they're locked in and they know that this is the game plan moving forward. They're canceling out their other pest company. And, uh, with this, you just can't cancel out their other internet right away because they can't not have internet nowadays. So we're gonna hit our first door before 10 today, which is awesome. And then I've got until 5:30 before I do a company leadership call for pest control. And wish me luck. My goal today is to do 7 deals. And with this early start, with figuring out how to prospect a lot better now, I truly believe we'll hit it. So let's go sell. Alright guys, just parked our car. We're gonna go hit the first door and sell it. Let's go! We just connect the fiber to the home and that's about it. You give us 30 days to like earn your business. After those 30 days, you're convinced and you stick with us, close out Spectrum. I still would rather talk to him first before I Gosh, is he here right now? What time would be the best time to catch him? Because I know if you work from home, I really want to help you, um, because with the internet, I definitely want to make sure you guys have faster internet. Yeah, sometime after 4 usually. Okay, if I am around, I'll try. I can't promise you though, okay? Okay. Visit details, follow-up, husband back after 4. That was not a really strong like, oh, we need to go back to that house. But it's worth logging and noting like, hey, I'll go back here later if I've got time. Let's keep going.
Is it all right if I talk to the wife about this when I get back with you?
So, Will, as far as the internet goes, basically we lower your price, we give you 10 times faster internet. I've never met a woman that's mad that you're like, hey, I got faster internet. Oh, by the way, no contract. Oh, by the way, it was free for the first month. You know what I mean? So like, try us before you buy us kind of thing. Try it for the first 30 days, and then what ends up happening is people just close out Spectrum, they stick with us. Because I'll lower your bill too for you, you know. So basically the way it works, zip code here is 358. It's not even bad, you know what I'm saying? It's not bad. So I guess the question would be, if it were faster internet and a cheaper price, what would she be against? Nothing. High five. So I've been doing the job for a long— I've been doing like, you know, door-to-door stuff for a while. With this one, if I want to give you time to think about it, that's why we're going to get it installed. You have 30 days to even think about it anyways, but at least you have it to even know. Because a guy like you, I can tell that you're not going to know that it was the right decision until you actually hook up your phone to it and it's way faster. She's here right now, right? She's asleep. I will not wake her up.
Okay.
I can get you scheduled on the— so it sounds like right now it's like there's nothing wrong with the service. It's just like you want to make sure the wife knows that it's something you're— you know, it's like, oh, we're switching internet. I think it'd be worth it just for the video games alone, just to try it out, to like see, like, okay, cool, what's the difference? Just spend—
when—
oh, sorry, when is she awake up more or less? Um, because I have an idea, and you're like, man, this guy's got lots of ideas. Um, if she is hap— if she does happen to be awake, all you do is show her that. I know you won't run away with the iPad. You basically like, hey, it's $0 install, right? It's $79 a month, first month free. Okay. She is sleeping. I will not wake her up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Gotcha.
Is that her now? Oh, it's like, wait, what?
Bunny.
Oh my gosh, you have a bunny? Is it this big? It sounds big, dude. That's quite the dog. It's a little cold. That's the only— that's the only drag.
And my dog tried to eat you. Dude, that dog, he's not even mean. I don't know why he did that. Maybe it's the bright orange or something.
It's the orange. He was just like, uh, real quick, uh, Miss Jennifer, what's a good email for you?
It's J—
And then the last thing that you'll need is just if you want to put that card on file right here. Bear with me. Take care now.
It's a pain in my rectum.
Talk to me. What's going on? Pain in your rectum?
Yep.
Yep.
I don't like all the stuff that comes on it, and I'm just done with it.
I'm listening.
What's up? My internet is out.
If you could have good internet, would you have good internet?
No.
No.
No. I don't even want it on anymore.
What happened?
I don't want it.
Pain in the rectum?
Yep.
Pain in the rectum. All right. I'll use that phrase.
Oh, yeah. Well, you can.
Okay. Take care now. It's freezing. My fingers are about to fall off. Who'd you guys go with?
We have Verizon.
You said like a little box.
Cool. But, but we're interested.
Yeah. Why is that? I know I hear a lot that the Verizon is—
Actually, just someone told me they had Brightspeed. They were going to send me some information. And Verizon, our YouTube doesn't work with our Verizon.
Bingo. Okay, so I used to have Verizon. So what's cool about this, we're doing a promotion. First month's on me. Following month, it's just $79 a month. Your third month, we send you $300 worth of credits. So it's basically—
How much is it after that?
We're going to give it—
How much is it for a year?
$79 a month flat, and there's no contract with us.
We don't really do a lot of streaming, right? No, that's just it. We're like, we're not doing it. I can't say that we're gonna do this today.
Well, and the thing is, I'm not telling you that you need to commit fully today, okay? But I do get you on the schedule so that you can get connected. You use us for a full month, and then you'll see after that. Like, that way you have time to think on it, to really realize that we are the faster option. It's not a coincidence I came by today, you know what I mean? That's what I'm saying.
When I saw you, I'm like, oh, I would I just had this conversation with across the street neighbor. Yeah, yeah, but this is like $40 more a month than we pay. Gotcha. Verizon's only $50.
Let me look at other options that I have as we kind of check out to see what you feel more comfortable with. Bear with me just a second. What's a good number to reach you at, Miss Deborah?
Uh, 419.
I might be able to start you at something to at least get the ball rolling, and it's going to be a little bit more affordable, but bear with me there.
And what kind of identification do you guys have coming around to pulling?
Do you have to have anything to pull it?
No, to come to knocking on people's doors.
Well, they literally laid down the fiber for us to like do this stuff, so it's not like those solicitors that are selling pest control and alarms.
Was my—
you're awesome, look forward to you enjoying the football games. Take care now. It is currently 2:39. I've got a little bit less than 3 hours until I have my coaching call with Fox Pest Control, and I'm on a good pace right now. My goal for today is to finish with 7. I'm at 2, okay. But one of the things I want to talk on was today when I started, when I started, it was really a slow start and I started to get a little bit in my head. The way I was able to get out of my head was to just— I took like a 3-minute breather and I had my sandwich. Sometimes a little snack break is good. And I just reminded myself, if I put in the knocks, the deals will come. And when we focus on the results, a lot of times we can get in our head. I do that when I focus too much on results. I get in my head, I don't sell as well, I don't connect with people. The deals that came afterwards, I was really able to build a relationship with the customers. I was also able to find a hot button. And even though it wasn't a massive deal that they didn't like Spectrum— another one was Verizon— I was able to blow up the problem and find out why they would even care and why should they even care. For one lady, her grandson played video games. Even though there was the pain of switching her email, She was like, "Ah, I kind of want to try it out," so she gave me a shot. The other gal was with Verizon, and she noticed that occasionally there's a buffering ring on YouTube TV, and that was enough pain to kind of blow up to help her switch over. I'm liking this though. It's a fun sale, giving people $300 worth of Visa. That's pretty cool. No contract, first 3 months, right? So we just got to keep putting in the knocks, and eventually more deals will come. So we have a 3-hour little stretch right here. Wish me luck. But the key is remain calm. Today I learned in our coaching call within ServiPro, if you just don't act like you're jazzed up and caffeinated at the door, you sound more professional, you sound like you're supposed to be there. And naturally I'm just outgoing, really excited, so I just have been kind of chill out, and that's been actually getting me further in the sale. Let's go knock on this door. Let's go rip. Hey there, am I speaking to Ada? Okay, Ada, good to meet you. Ada, uh, super happy to help with— you said the wasps were what we're getting inside your— are they getting in your house right now, you said?
Yeah, so we've been calling so many different people and of course nobody wants to play with no bees or wasps or anything like that. So they're definitely the black wasps. It's almost looking like they're coming inside already drunk as hell, as funny as that sounds. Okay, we've been like spraying outside and we've been doing, you know, my husband's been doing his yearly lovely poisoning outside. Yeah, and stuff to not come inside.
Let's say wasps, uh, we've got all those bugs. Do this at 7, around 7, uh, give him a call, give him the details. I'll still— I have a, I have a call at around 7:30. So if you give me— give it green light, you— I think you can get it signed on your end, payment on file on your end, uh, that way we can get it scheduled ASAP so that we get these wasps taken care of. Does that work for you?
Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, I'm just— like I said, I'm waiting to get an answer from him.
Okay, let's do another one now. I got these two deals, Pete.
They've—
I have warm leads coming in during the day, like, hey, I want pest control, how much does it cost? And I'm gonna like You've got to attack these things when they're hot. And so now I'm going to try another one. This lady was like, yeah, you're good to go, collect payment, like, I'll call you back. And so bear with me here. Before I call people, I put in all their information. That way I can get it all set and sent over so I'm not wasting time. Like, what's your first name? What's your last name? When you guys do phone deals, you should have— before that, you— before you ever waste time calling them and having to like risk spelling something wrong over the phone, you'll say, yep. And I did a reel on this one time, so this is not like crazy, and this is not secret information, but it's like, perfect, send me the following information before I call you. It's their first name, their last name, their email, and their phone number. So DM me if you want that template, okay, on Instagram. Follow me. And get them, you know, sold so that the only thing that you need to collect is a credit card. And I'm going to put in here on my notes German roaches. So we're just slinging pest control midday as these leads come in hot. It's kind of crazy because I don't know what, what's going on in Georgia right now, but people are, uh, needing pest control. I kind of— I was a little distracted. I had my call tonight. I thought it was at 5:30. It actually ended up being at 5. So I was just thinking about that. And so that just had me thinking on other things. And then I have this roleplay call tonight. But I think my mind was just a little bit stressed about, oh, I got to get off at 5 to make my call. And, uh, just feel a little scatterbrained. Sometimes in door-to-door that happens. And the people who are the best at this job are the ones that can focus, right? And generally speaking, I'm incredibly good at focusing, but today I had a little bit, a little bit of a lapse in that focus. So if you do have an off day, ask yourself like, what went sideways? What didn't go— what was it? What wasn't optimal? And you'll be able to get a really good idea what you need to do to make sure that the next day is good. I think today I was a little distracted by some of those pest leads that came in from Atlanta. They were hot. They're like, hey, I want to sign up. And I'm like, dude, I got to close them right there on the spot. And that's not bad, but at the same time it took away from time on the doors. So when you guys are on the doors, be all in on the doors. If a lead comes in, close it. But I just felt like I didn't manage that as well today, and that's what ended up costing me some momentum. Great coaching call with Fox Pest Control. We're gonna head home. I'm gonna knock out my roleplay call that I do Monday through Friday. So if you are listening to this and you're watching this and you're not in a roleplay group, you you need to be a part of one. Monday through Friday at 9 AM Mountain Standard Time for now, we run a coaching group where I just teach something and I have everybody roleplay with each other and I give feedback. So if you're not in something like that, you need to be in something like that. And so DM me or message me on Instagram or comment below, roleplay, and I can send you a link to join that course or that coaching group. Be happy to have you. But tomorrow, I have no other events other than my roleplay group in the evening at 7:30 PM. We're gonna go to the gym, we have plenty of food at the Airbnb now, and we're just gonna go rip the whole day. So that's all we got for today, and tomorrow is going to be even better. That's how these blitzes go with me. I just keep getting a little bit better, and, uh, you keep learning.
