WORLD’S FUNNEST RUNNING FESTIVAL: Runningman 2026

The video captures Austin Maser’s second‑year experience at the Running Man festival, a multi‑day gathering of fitness enthusiasts, coaches, and content creators. Austin and his wife Kaya discuss their personal fitness progress, while a rotating cast of participants—including Siuan Sai, Michael Smoke, Paul, and several unnamed speakers—share coaching insights, motivational stories, and personal challenges. The group engages in a series of physical contests (deadlifts, sauna, cold‑plunge, farm games), product tastings (ghost drinks, raspberry creams, Liquid Death wipes), and social activities (trivia golf cart, beer tasting). A central narrative thread is the “100 Days or Bald” content‑creation challenge, where participants must post daily for 100 days or shave their heads. The dialogue also touches on entrepreneurial anecdotes (door‑to‑door sales with Jesse Itzler), mindset advice about detaching from results, and reflections on regret and risk. Throughout, the tone is informal, enthusiastic, and community‑focused, with frequent shout‑outs, jokes, and calls to action for viewers to join challenges or follow participants on social media.
Chapters
Year 2 at Running Man with my wife. Last year we came here after a Disney cruise and I was a lot chunkier. So now I'm excited to see how I'm able to run. Kaya's always been in good shape.
Yeah, I won't lap you this year.
And she lapped me pretty hard last year. But we're gonna go run some distance, we don't even know what, but, uh, come follow us, it'll be fun.
Dude, you look fantastic, man.
Oh, I feel amazing.
I know, you know, I've been like, wow, that's my boy, that's my boy.
Dude, it's been a fun— it's been a fun year.
I'm so proud of you.
Everything's working.
I'm proud of you, man.
Thanks.
I had no idea, like, when we talked, I said, do it. Anybody else, I would say no.
I remember that.
Yeah, yeah, dude, it's freaking working.
I've actually put people to you too. Good. Like people come and knock on my door. People come knock on my door and I'll be like, let me let me let me show you this. Look this guy up. Talk to him. Not that you're not good, but you can be better.
Yeah.
And I I only take these. I only answer the door because of you. Otherwise, I'm like. Well, you know, because of you, I answer my door and talk.
You know I ain't got any skin in the game on that account, by the way. If you find a young guy that you like, go for it. I know.
Do it because I'm like, I'm gonna go through this with them and hear them out because it's helping them. And then I'm like, see this guy right here? Check this website out. You're gonna be— you're gonna be, uh, what is it, the golden door?
Golden door.
Yeah, let's go, baby.
Dude, I love you, bro. Yeah, we're gonna get started. There's, there's my wife, my buddies.
Dude, I got so much to catch you up on.
Let's talk more later. Hey dude, I love you, bro.
So glad to see you here.
Good job.
I got my port out.
You're done. You killed cancer.
I gotta every four months.
He got he beat cancer.
Yeah, yeah. I got every four months. I gotta get checked out. But until five years. But right now, keep ripping.
Dude, I love I love you, bro.
Go run and we'll hook up.
I knew I knew you'd kick. I knew you'd kick its butt, bro.
Back for everything I ever lost. Whoa!
Whoa!
What you up for?
Whoa!
Whoa!
Woo! Let her cook. Let's go, let's go, let's go. Hey, let her cook. Okay.
Too much kick out, babe.
Oh God. Let her cook.
Here we go.
Let's go. What up? You're my favorite.
Good to see you. Morning, y'all.
Good morning.
Did you guys get here pretty early?
Not terribly. Like 7:40. Yeah.
Okay, we slept in. Yeah, Norman, you have to wear Mickey ears on the cruise. Gotta be the pirate rules. This car here. Mason and I both bald brothers.
Baldies!
What's up, big dog?
My boy Mason, dude.
Good to see you. What's good, bro? Yeah, nice to meet you, bro. Dude, your shorts are sick. I feel like a monster. Oh my gosh, like 50 pounds lighter than when you saw me last year. That's gonna be crazy. I'm light as a feather, dude. That's gotta be a crazy feeling though, dude. It's cool. Yeah. Okay.
What is it?
What, like, were you on like a training plan or did you just walk in? The story's insane. Yeah, pretty much Andy Elliott called me out and was like, hey dude, get a six-pack.
I was just with Andy.
Yeah.
Come on. She's sick if you smoke a real. And step it, and step it. There you go, lady. Spin it again.
Yeah, shimmy, shimmy, shimmy all day. Stop.
There you go. Yeah, catching the vibe now.
Once again, at 10:50, we'll have a golf cart going around doing trivia and about some beer with Monte. You thinking what I'm thinking, partner?
Aim for the bushes.
Naughty, naughty.
Oh, boy, yeah. Well, here's Cy. So Cy and I worked together one-on-one this summer, and when I coach, I always learn something from all my clients. I learned a ton from you, and I love the feedback that you gave me, dude. So you helped me grow a ton as a coach. I've seen you grow a ton as a sales rep this last year. Tell me your biggest breakthrough that you had this year.
By far, it's detachment to results. Is when, when I thought that the more pressure and the more intensity and craving for the win would take me further, it, it pulled me back. And so I would say just like not taking it seriously and turning it into something that's fun is the biggest things that brought the numbers but also made it like way less stressful.
I've seen you perform like way better when you're just being Sai, right? That's our whole thing. Yeah, just go be Sai and go create a memoir. And so it's been cool to see your growth, but like typically with anybody that I coach, if you overfocus on the results, then you just get in your head and you're dead.
Yeah.
And so, but what's been special with coaching you is that you're, you're probably one of the most aware clients I've ever had of, yeah, like this is what's going on in my head, you can work through it. And I've seen you turn your whole day around from like catching something and not letting it turn into like a massive, like, just disaster. And you catch these moments and you turn them into big days. So I've loved working with you, bro.
Let's go.
And I've learned a ton from you. Yeah, I appreciate it.
One more thing, I think self-awareness is like a blessing and a curse because if you're self-aware about the emotions that you go through, then you tend to think about them and get overly analytical about them. But if you're not self-aware, then you just get caught up, you get caught up in them. So I think we should all just have more fun.
Yeah, dude. And if you don't follow this guy on Instagram, he's one of the funnest dudes ever. The content goes hard.
Let's wash some dishes.
Let's go.
But we got more more videos coming soon.
Yeah, dude. Give him a what's your Instagram handle?
It's Siuan Sai S I U A N S I Y. Follow me.
Give him a follow. You won't be disappointed. Now I can breathe in HD.
Just pull it out.
There's no caffeine. No, man, there's no caffeine. There has to be. Keep looking. There's no caffeine. Please, please don't say that. We need to find caffeine right now. We're about to go do the farm games. Come follow me. What do I have to do?
A couple different challenges.
I'm Paul.
Good to meet you, bro.
You just finished running? A little bit ago, yeah.
A little bit ago?
Okay, so good.
They've got some salt on watermelon.
We're gonna start with a deadlift with this.
You're gonna work your way through from the 1.
Oh my gosh, all the way down. Need some chalk? Yeah, sure.
Sweaty.
Again, I mentioned High Rocks and Running Man, the Zen Zone. Hopefully you guys brought your falls to your tents. Uh, and that's just one of some of the few things happening here at Running Man. And also the loop, my athletes are working. Miss Tara just said she's at 9.3. She's gonna do the half, but then she doesn't know, she's just gonna keep going because that's what we do.
Dude, that looks like I got a massive schlong.
Naughty, naughty.
Set.
All right, it is lift. Good work, brother.
You call it?
You gonna go for 14?
Uh, we'll do that. You gonna go for 14?
Yeah.
You got a belt?
Yeah.
That's just the first round. Yeah, ready for the next part?
Yeah.
Strong focus on what I want. Let's let's think about happy thoughts.
Hold it, hit that left foot up a little bit.
There you go, right there.
Hold it, lock it in.
Hold it.
Yes, Austin! Hold it.
15 more seconds.
Come on, 10.
Hold it, 9, 8, 7, 6. Get up there, 5. Hold it, hold it, hold it up!
3, 2, 1, go. Make that elbow tight.
It'll get it. It's top score. Let go.
Okay, let go, let go, let go.
129.
129. All right, all right.
Oh my gosh, he's strong.
Lab sessions and activations will start at 1 o'clock. I'm gonna head over to—
Bro, he did that. Dude, he has 6 kids.
What was yours?
130.
From the bar. He thought yours would be higher.
I hook grip really well. Well, turns out if you have six kids, you get better grip strength.
Come on, go! Keep going! Go, go, go, go!
Seven hit the chest and eight.
What do you get? Damn, I missed. Did he win? Oh my gosh! I made that last.
Thank you so much.
What do you think about that DJI mic?
I don't know, you like it? The DJI mic?
I'll take anything free.
Oh, do you like the DJI mic?
What do you think about that mic?
Microphone.
Oh, oh, I thought you were asking for a drink.
What'd he get?
Oh no, no, those are great. Yeah, those are fantastic.
Cheers!
Got the French press bench press ice cream sandwich. Lovely, huh? Pretty much just working out, eating protein. We've yet to find caffeine though. We're still looking.
Yeah.
Well, we found a ghost. I brought it here. The lesson is you can't rely on other people to get your ghost. You've got to pack ahead. So every single time I do a sales training camp, I'll bring like 12 of these because raspberry creams in the wild are very difficult to find. They're usually only found at 7-Eleven. And 7-Elevens are not everywhere, and even then raspberry creams are hard to find. Strabangos are everywhere, grapes are everywhere. The A&W, I have to say, after doing a taste test, actually sucks.
Boo!
It's just like a watery flavor, and so the A&W was super hyped when no one could have it, and then as soon as it was available, it kind of sucks, but it's still good. Uh, the Bum, Crisp Bum for the root beer is way better. We got a Strabango here. If I don't drink these I might die. Stay with me.
We're losing them!
I have to have these on tap at all times. Please send more to my house. DM me the word ghost if you want to send me ghosts, just because. After running 7 miles today, you get what's called the runs after you run because your body shakes everything up. So you gotta hop on one of these golden thrones. Check this out. I mean, here you've got the golden throne, and you actually got nice wipes so that after you're done running, your butt cheeks don't chafe. Good wipes. They're really freaking good. Okay, we just had this guy come up. He's like, "Oh dude, I got Andy's phone number." I'm like, "When you get it?" It was like four years ago. So. He doesn't have Andy's phone number. But I have it.
There's—
you don't have it. No one has his phone number, okay? Unless you're like in his brotherhood. But he's like, dude, that guy responds to me all the time. It's actually Ian and Evan Macklin that are using his phone. And so he's stoked though, like let him thank it. But when you build a business as big as Andy has built it, you have to get a burner phone. And I had to get a separate phone because people started calling me asking for butthole cleaning camps. I got like actual quotes. They're like, hey, what would it cost to have you come to this state and do a 3-day camp on how to clean butts? So I got a new phone. So if it's you listening, I have a brand new phone. It's the best decision of my life, and I don't get your calls anymore. So you have to find a different trainer for your butt camps.
The butt cleaning is expensive, but it's worth it.
It's the premium product. That's how you get the other phone number. That's how you get the other phone number. What do you think I'm doing here? So Kai and I are gonna see who can last the longest in the cold plunge. That's what she said. Okay, anyways, let's go. All right, I can't last any longer. I finished before her again. Happens every time. Follow us into the world's largest sauna. Hello, hello! It is hot in here. A few inches later. Kaya and I just got out of the sauna, and I can say that I lasted longer than Kaya for the sauna.
And my biggest hero and my biggest idol, when he got to the end of his life, when he was trapped in his body with a healthy mind, he was forced to replay the movie of his life over and over again. And all he did was think about the stuff he didn't do. And this is the guy that I thought lived the fullest life I'd ever seen, and he still had regrets.
Yes.
And so for me, if I could go back, I would tell that kid who avoided risk, who didn't try out for teams, who didn't put himself out there because of his fear of being judged, that your hero is going to have regrets one day. You've got to enter the taekwondo life.
That's what I would tell him.
Anybody else?
When you first were starting out, like, I, I know that like what I have to offer can like bless people's lives, but it's just getting them to realize it. Yeah, like, what would you have told yourself? I mean, did you have those doubts, or did you just not give a shit?
Ignorance was bliss for me. Okay, I really didn't know what the fuck I was doing, and I certainly didn't know what was possible.
Yeah, that's the same thing.
I didn't know you could build a job. I just thought every time I get an idea, every time I think, would I have benefited from this a few years ago, I just made a video about it.
Okay.
And it was, I think, one of the most important pieces I realized. Are you in the fitness space?
I mean, well, so I tried to take my life 5 years ago. I was out of shape. I hated myself. I've got a beautiful wife, 6 kids, and I just— I hated myself. And it wasn't until I changed, yeah, my diet, exercising, just it blessed my life so much. I know that's what— you talked about it, there's just depression is rampant right now. And there's so many— I mean, you go outside this space and you see people that are just overweight and they don't have respect for themselves. And like, you're fat, do something about it.
I think what I would tell you is oftentimes the things that blew my mind of what really picked up traction What seems obvious to you is completely novel and life-changing to someone else.
Example, and I've seen that with some like basics.
Yeah, like when I talk about calories, I'm like, people still don't know about the calories.
Oh, I know, and I didn't, I didn't, I didn't either until like, so I had to be, I had to learn.
So how many people are walking around asleep to that? So when it comes to fitness content and like telling your story, going back to what you had to learn in the first 30 days, it was like, for me, it was like calorie deficit, protein Aggressive overload, the power of walking.
Yeah.
And I just kept making videos. Like, find your pillars of home base and rinse that shit. Like, I became known as the 3-day split guy and the step guy.
Okay.
Because I made fucking 100 videos about those 2 things.
That's what it's been right now for the most part. It's like, yeah, get your steps in, be in a calorie deficit.
Yes.
And just hammer it.
Yeah. Like, hammer it. I mean, you're only 30 days in, bro. Like, consistently, right?
Um, I think I'm like in the 40s right now. I don't know how many days I have.
Point is, it's been a month.
It has, yes.
Right, you're in your infancy.
Yeah, yeah.
So like, if it ain't working, no shocker, it's brand new. Yes.
It's brand new.
So I would say detach from any idea of having to get people to understand the value for like the next 6 months.
Okay.
And just do it for fun.
Yep.
And do it to speak to the— like a lot of times I'm speaking to the version of me that's 20 and just figured out something's got to change. Yeah, that's the same feel. I'm meeting people where they're at. That's the That's the best piece of advice I could give you. That and like, this is going to be hard to do. Every time, and I kind of alluded to this, every time I tried to make it about the growth, about the impact, and I didn't operate from a place of— this could be a good video post— like very light with it, very playful with it, the worse it went.
Okay.
So, the less— the more pressure you put on it trying to be something, it's going to be harder to make it something.
Okay.
It's a dance. It's not a fight.
Yeah.
So, just stay loose, stay relaxed. And speak to the version of yourself that needs the basics, blocking and tackling. Okay, that's advice I can give you.
Cool, well, I appreciate it. It's great advice.
Great to meet you, bro.
You too.
Thank you for coming to the talk.
I really appreciate it, bro. Thank you.
Pleasure. Yeah, my brother, say hi.
Yo, you leaving?
5 minutes, 5 minutes. Okay. I passed this guy like 2 years ago.
Oh, no way.
Really?
A guy that needs to be posting and isn't. Oh, that's you.
You're fucking doing it.
I'm doing it.
Let's go.
He's doing it.
Let's go.
I just want to let you know that we got him.
You got him?
We got him.
We got another one.
You tell him he's posted. You tell him that you're the variation.
I don't know how many.
It's more than 40. So the variation, I was like, dude, this guy named Michael Smoke that does 100 days straight.
Yeah, own it.
I'm like, I just— my whole catchphrase is or bald. So we've got like 50 people that are posting 100 days straight, and if they miss a day, they're going bald. Yeah, they're bald.
So anyway, stakes.
That's the one thing I don't have is stakes.
Dude, just the or bald. It's great. People do it. It's enough. It's enough paint. But yeah, dude, you're awesome.
Dude, thank you, bro.
It's great to see you again, man.
As soon as I heard your story, I thought of him, and yeah, he's doing it, dude.
So I'm proud of you, man. Thank you. Most people never get to that stuff.
Yeah, it was hard. It was hard. But he just— no, it's— well, it's still difficult to post. I'm not— it's getting easier communicating because I'm not good with my words. But like day one, my videos sucked. Till today, they're pretty good. They're decent.
At Running Man, there are a ton of coaches, fitness coaches, life coaches, like literally everything. And everybody out here is doing content. You'll see a lot of other videographers out here. Norman's out here. He's the best one of them all.
What do you want?
Water? We're good.
You asked for—
You got a water? Everybody creates content. So if you guys haven't heard about the 100 days or bald content, it actually kind of originated from the guy Michael Smoke, who we just heard from. And it's post 100 days straight and watch what happens. But the thing is, there's some skin in the game with me, or I should say hair in the game. Meaning if you miss a single day, you have to be bald. Not buzzcut, bald like me. So if you want to join our 100 Days or Bald content challenge, DM me on Instagram or bald, and we'll throw you in the WhatsApp chat. And if you join the WhatsApp chat, you have got to commit to 100 days or bald. Either way, you're gonna keep your freaking word. You'll either have 100 days or you're gonna have like a couple posts and you're gonna be bald like me. So DM me the word or bald on Instagram or comment below in this YouTube video if you would like to join our or bald challenge. Back to the video. Good to see you, bro.
We got that.
Yeah.
Anyways, nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you. We missed our shot. So sometimes you go for the content and you don't get the content. So we went for the fist bump and I was like, what up? And he's already gone. But look guys, one of these days Jesse Itzler will knock doors with me. He started in door-to-door meat sales, and so one day— Jesse, if you're listening to this— we will knock doors together and we will sell meat door-to-door. I'm not stopping just because. But it just ain't the time. I asked Jesse Itzler to knock doors with me at Keaton Hodgkin's house. at the Limitless Arena event, and I got shut down. He told me it'd be a good idea. But one day, Jesse, we're gonna knock doors together and we're gonna sell meat again to bring you back to your roots. It's gonna be fantastic, Jesse. Everybody tag Jesse Itzler in the comments below so that we can go door-to-door together and sell meat again. We won them last year, but if you guys have another dance-off, we want to dance.
I know, I don't I don't think they're planning on it.
Okay, that's fine.
You were so good.
We had a blast.
No, you were unbelievable.
What was the biggest skill or mindset thing that you pulled from door-to-door that then showed up in other areas of your life?
I mean, the biggest thing is that I think it's really important to differentiate yourself and be able to explain it very quickly. Like, why are you different and why are you better? And get there very quickly. And what's in it for them? Those things need to come out very quickly and very clear and very confidently.
Who, what, why, basically. Who you are, what you're doing, why you're there.
Yeah.
We appreciate you. We're gonna go trick-or-treating. So far we have a mushroom stuffed animal because there's mushroom coffee over here, and then we have 2 books. One of them is about psychedelics. Our first stop will be To get some butt wipes. They're really freaking good. Liquid Death Good Wipes. Yeah, it's like a cream soda, you know?
It's got a little vanilla scent to it.
Everybody wants cream soda wipes.
We actually pour Liquid Death cream soda into our wipes.
No, you don't.
Yes, we do. Check the ingredients.
I'm so serious.
One more?
Yeah, take it.
How many am I allowed to have?
You can have 3.
I want a wipe with I want to wipe with liquid death. Thank you.
Absolutely, enjoy that.
Alright, we're gonna go to this thing called the Bodega and grab a lot of free food. If you're in door-to-door, you should only be eating free food off the doors. You can basically be homeless and make a doctor's salary and just eat out of people's kitchens. There's no way, these hats are really good. Fair game, everything. Tofu?
Nope. Um, it's the THC seltzers. What is that one?
Focus?
Can I grab a mango? Whatever that thing is up on top. Are these gonna make you feel a little tipsy?
Probably. So those are, those are only 5 milligrams THC. So you'll probably feel like a little buzz.
Horse radish. But if I have two of them, you'll probably feel pretty high.
Unless you're. I mean, do you smoke or?
No, I've never smoked weed in my life.
Oh, maybe then you'll probably feel it.
Even five milligrams.
I don't smoke either.
I'm pretty lightweight. I didn't feel much yesterday. Oh, you didn't feel much? So you're saying I need two?
I would just.
I would start with one.
Yeah, I'll pop back, bro. Exactly. I can't.
Just one.
Start with one.
All right, we'll try one.
Yeah, try it.
Grab one.
I like it.
This is passion fruit and mango. Oh my gosh! Cinnamon sugar. Here. They're healthy.
You need a bite of that. They're healthy.
They're sourdough.
I don't think so.
Here we go.
Hearing me on the main stage, but I want you guys to give a little love to the man that you were hearing at the race—the man with the glitter beard and the energy and the dance. Oh!
5 milligrams of THC, 10 milligrams of CBD, and 10 milligrams of CBG.
What can I get for you guys?
I'll take 2 orders of 4 carne asada tacos, please. How do you feel right now? I feel happy. A few moments later.
You have to be strong.
Yeah.
You want abs. Let's do it, though.
Burgers are the best.
Get it now. Do it. The Bacon Mala just has beef, cheese, and bacon.
It comes with lettuce, tomato, and onion if you want it.
I shouldn't. Yeah, let's do lettuce, tomato, onion, grilled onions. Can you do grilled onions?
Yeah.
Look, man, we're at 20— we're at 20,000 steps right now. So we can get a pass. Brian would support. Andy Elliott would also support.
We got ours. Somebody make some noise out there! We are Country Road Running Man and we're here to rock this night away!
But I'll challenge you to hit— have a 6-pack by January 1st.
Let's do it.
And if you don't, you shave your head bald.
You know what's crazy? My mentor—
so I just started posting 30 days straight, and if I didn't post all 30 days, I had to shave my head. And guess what? That's my challenge. Let's do it. Wait, who's your mentor? His name is Ugber. He did 29 in 29. Well, he's the one who inspired me to come here. He sponsored half my wait. Someone else is doing it too.
He has a hundred days of.
I have a hundred days of content. No way! Are you in my chat? I'm not. What's up, chat?
How many are we getting? One. How many?
Three.
They're sourdough bagels, so they have no calories and they're healthy.
Oh boy, yeah.
Donuts! It's late! They're sourdough donuts, so they're healthy. No calories.
We will take the half dozen. We're gonna give away one. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and then give away one.
You each get one? Let's go. 10 tonight, why not?
Can you make mine the cinnamon sugar?
Oh yeah, can we get a couple of the cinnamon? Yeah.
I want just a regular.
We're talking about finding a sugar mama.
I'm moving to Florida to find a sugar mama and I'm gonna sell donuts.
Not a great plan.
I need your help now.
Running now, let's hear it!
You're in love! It's a glorious brand new day. Cheers! Oh yeah, so beautiful! On your own all the time.
