Austin Maser tries to sell a product to Charlie and his wife at their door. Charlie won't commit, worried about bugs and his small backyard, but his wife is ready to buy. Austin uses a walk-away closing technique he says works nine out of ten times, then steps back to let them decide alone.
We really just don't want to sign anything today.
The next like 3 to 4 months are gonna be awful with bugs. He said the backyard is like kind of big.
It's not, you can walk around. Okay, can I meet you guys back there? Kind of see what we're looking at?
And so the reality is, Charlie, I know you're not sold at all. You're super skeptical. You're like, who is this bald guy talking to my wife? My wife is about to sign up and you're like, oh, I'm nervous, I don't want to do it. It's like, dude, I think this makes total sense.
I just like to research things and look at your competition.
I'll just stand at the curb. Great. And then you guys either say, Austin, we're good. Okay. Or Austin, get out. This, Charlie, that I'm doing this for you. Yeah. Because your wife's already ready to buy. I've been doing this for a while.
I was killing ants this morning in our living room.
Your wife is already ready to buy it. Yeah.
But I see where you're coming from.
I want you guys to have that like security, know that it's a good decision. I'm gonna walk away. For sure. And then you guys just talk about it. And then I do this. I'm not kidding, 9 out of 10 times I walk back and they're like, Okay. Alrighty.
