In this brief fundraising video, Matt Fitzgerald highlights the underrepresentation of people of color in endurance coaching, noting that fewer than 15% of coaches identify as such. He explains that he founded the Coaches of Color Initiative to address this gap by offering comprehensive nine‑month apprenticeships for aspiring coaches of color. The initiative relies on financial support; Dream Run Camp already contributes a portion of its monthly revenues, but additional donations are needed. Fitzgerald urges viewers who share these values to donate via the provided link to sustain and expand the program.

Did you know that less than 15% of endurance coaches identify as persons of color? I created the Coaches of Color Initiative to help improve diversity in endurance coaching so that our life-changing sport reaches more people, enriching the entire community. Coaches of Color awards comprehensive 9-month apprenticeships to aspiring coaches of color, but it takes funding to keep this important program going. Dream Run Camp donates a portion of its monthly revenues to the Coaches of Color Initiative, but we could use more help. If you share our values, consider making a donation using the link below. Thank you.
