A short instructional module by Matt from Magnum Fitness listing five simple healthy-eating habits: (1) eat every 2–4 hours to stimulate metabolism and support muscle and recovery, (2) include a complete protein at every meal, (3) consume vegetables with most meals to increase fiber and help alkalize the body, (4) take simple carbohydrates (preferably liquid) around training times (pre/post), and (5) eat healthy fats daily in balanced proportions. The speaker references a separate protein video and promises a brief ratio in the video description.
Good day, guys. Matt here again from Magnum Fitness. In this module we're going to be talking about the five eating healthy habits that I've put together for you guys. Very simple. The first one is eating every two to four hours. So by maintaining regular intervals between meals, you can actually stimulate your metabolism which is going to increase muscle mass, increase recovery and help reduce fat loss as well. Number two, ensure that each meal has a complete protein aspect. That's in the protein video above. But you should be having protein in every single meal if you can. Number three, consume vegetables with most of your meals. Vegetables can actually contribute alkalizing the body, so high acidic environment can lead to calcium loss and fat storage. And vegetables also help increase fiber content as well. Number four, consume simple carbohydrates around training times. Simple carbs consumed as a liquid. So pre and post is going to help you guys out as well. And then eat healthy fats daily in balanced proportion. So essential fatty acids are important to health and just as important for the balance as well. Um, I have included, I'm going to include like a brief ratio in, in the description below, just as a very basic rule of thumb. But yeah, see that below and then I'll see you in the next video.
