Short instructional module by Matt (Magnum Fitness Online) introducing aerobic exercise (cardio). Defines aerobic exercise as energy-system work that uses oxygen to produce energy and enables sustained movement; lists examples such as walking, running, and cycling and notes these are cardio workouts.
Hey, guys, Matt here from Magnum Fitness Online. In this module, we're going to be talking about aerobic exercise. So aerobic exercise is basically what we call cardio exercises, just basically an energy system. Now, some examples of aerobic exercise would be walking, running, bike ride. Now, it actually, during aerobic exercises, your body actually uses oxygen for energy, which actually helps keep your keeping moving for an extended period of time, which is, as I said before, so it's like walking or running or riding a bike. But I've put some more examples down in the bottom there for you as well. But in general, this is basically your cardio workouts.
