Short instructional YouTube video explaining anaerobic exercise: defines it (short, high-intensity activity to increase heart rate and improve speed/power), gives examples (boxing, weight training, sprinting), and notes muscles use glucose for energy during these efforts.
Alright guys. Basically the complete opposite. We're going to talk about anaerobic exercise. So this is for example, boxing, weight training and sprinting. This is to skyrocket your heart rate. Basically, activities are short intervals of work used to improve speed and power. So during these activities, your muscles actually break down glucose to use as energy. Now, as I said before, so very easy, you can do weight training as an anaerobic exercise. Generally these exercises are performed in short duration sets and high intensity as well. But I'll see you in the next video.
