A short monologue urging business owners to make their systems "bulletproof" before bringing new people on. The speaker (Matt Dart) warns that weak systems reveal their flaws quickly once others follow them, harming retention and causing overwhelm; he recommends creating robust SOPs and clear communication expectations so new hires know what to do when things go wrong.
You need to make sure your systems are like bulletproof when you bring someone else on because then there's all the cracks are going to appear very, very quickly and you have someone else following the systems. It's all well and good that you can you know fix it up here, fix it up there but if someone else is expected to follow a certain system and you know it doesn't really or there's crash in the system or it doesn't work as good as it should be then that person's not going to have a good experience. More than likely they're not going to stay around for too long. You're going to get overwhelmed. So I would say like if I was to go back and do it again I need to, I need to get all my systems bulletproofed like have SOPs that type of stuff. So if something doesn't go right like what do they do? What type of communication is expected.
