Matt Dart argues ChatGPT is outdated. AI agents run entire workflows on their own, scheduled daily without manual prompting or copying and pasting. They automate and scale in ways ChatGPT alone cannot.

ChatGPT is old school. An AI agent actually just does the work for you. How is this different from using ChatGPT myself? ChatGPT is old school. It was good 2 or 3 years ago, but right now it's not very good. The difference between ChatGPT and AI agents is ChatGPT, you actually have to prompt it and then you gotta copy and paste what it's done for you and then actually do it yourself, versus an AI agent actually just does the work for you. So you get it to do the work and then it just does it. Now you can also set up AI agents to be autonomous as well, meaning it does things without you even prompting it. You can set up schedules, for example, daily flows that happen automatically without you having to do anything, versus ChatGPT, you would have to go and do it every single day to get the same result. That's the difference.
