Drop sets push muscles past failure by reducing weight and continuing reps immediately after hitting a stopping point. Do a set to failure, drop the weight, keep going. Use them at the end of workouts to drive muscle growth.
Alright, guys, now the first one we're going to talk about is the drop set technique. Very simple. It's where you perform an exercise and then drop or reduce the weight to continue to do more reps when you reach failure. So it's very common to use as a technique at the end of a workout, and you use this technique for muscle growth. So a very easy example would be the first set of any type of exercise. First set, you do it for 20 kilos until failure. The second set, you'll do 18 kilos until failure. And the third set, you'll do 15 kilos to failure. You just keep dropping the weight until you still do failure. But you just keep dropping the weight and it's just going to give you, your muscles, an absolute burning desire. So, yeah, I'll see you in the next video.
