Ep129: I Deleted ChatGPT and Run My Whole Business on One AI Tool

Matt Dart runs his business on Claude Code, which handles 90% of his AI needs for $50/month. He uses it to build custom apps, dashboards, and automations that deliver daily Slack reports, analyze ad campaigns, score sales calls, and summarize podcasts. His lean stack also includes N8N for workflows, GoHighLevel as his CRM, and two virtual assistants.

All right, Matt here from the Leveraged CEO Podcast. Welcome back to the show. In this episode, I'm going to go through my AI stack that I use to run my business. So it's pretty well known now that I share it quite a bit. Um, my business coaching, um, business only really requires me to work maybe 5 hours a week, if that, um, because of the team I've got, but also the AI systems that I use as well.. And then the Leverage CEO business, currently I've got a, a couple of clients on the done-for-you offer, but I don't necessarily have to work that much because I'm utilizing AI quite a lot in my business, which makes me super, super productive. So I'm just gonna go through what systems and softwares that I'm using and a little bit about what type of automations that I've got as well to make this a reality for me, to give you guys some insights. So firstly, I just want to say you can pretty much automate everything these days, but it's just some things you just don't want to automate. So I don't necessarily automate anything that's customer-facing. I automate a lot of the backend systems and processes. So Let me just quickly explain the type of team that I've got. I'll, I'll go through more detail on the team in a second, um, but I've got one VA that does admin, I've got one VA that does content creation, uh, I have like a videographer as well which is just contractor-based, uh, then I've got an AI specialist part of my team and a CSM, so, uh, client success manager or client success coach who, uh, is there to help my clients get the results that they want. So most of those team members are for PC Mastery, and then I've got the AI specialist for the Leveraged CEO business as well. So all of my, all of my team members use AI to a degree, some more than others, but especially all the VAs and the AI specialist, of course, they all use AI. So let's go through the, the biggest one, and I'll talk about this pretty openly. I use Claude, more specifically Claude Code more than Claude Cowork. I find Claude Code a lot better. You can do a lot more things. You can build custom apps, custom dashboards, that type of stuff in Claude Code, and it can set up a lot of automations on your behalf. So for example, it can even create meta ads for you. It can link up with your GoHighLevel account with your CRM. It can link with pretty much everything. You can link with Xero, Canva, you know, Google, you know, Google Calendar, etc., etc. It can link with pretty much everything, and it can pretty much do everything. So I usually spend 3 to 4 hours a day on Claude, again, more specifically Claude Code, because I'm building a lot of custom things for some of my clients right now. So I'm going to go into a little bit more detail on Claude in a second in terms of what it sends me. 'Cause I'm gonna go through like the different automations that I get every single day. The other thing which I commonly refer to, so like Claude is the brain, and then I've got like the engine room, which is N8N. N8N is just an automation software that connects a lot of the apps and does the actual workflows or automations for me. For example, you know, downloading a transcript, analyzing the transcript, setting it to blah, blah, blah., but it's automations essentially. Then I've got GoHighLevel, uh, or ACR, which is a form of GoHighLevel where, uh, I manage all my pipeline, uh, my follow-ups, um, my admin side of things, I suppose, is all in GoHighLevel. Um, that's essentially it. I don't have OpenClaw, uh, I don't necessarily use like Groq or NotebookLM. I don't use— I use Manus a little bit. I do not use ChatGPT at all anymore, which a lot of people are surprised by, but it's absolute trash at the moment. I think it is getting better, but Claude by far is the number one thing for me. I did try OpenClaw quite a while ago when it first came out. It was just very difficult to set up in my opinion. So I mean, I could probably— I probably could set it up, Um, but I find Claude Code pretty much does exactly the same thing and it's a lot safer, uh, and a lot easier to set up. Um, some of the other common AI tools, um, like AI agents and stuff like that, um, uh, HRSA is the AI agent software that I use. Um, so my AI, um, specialist has set up an AI agent for a couple of things that I do. So I'm going to go through a few things that I use my Claude code to build. So I'm just going to get up my Slack for a second. So a couple of things that I do, I get like a daily report on the AI news. So I'm up to date with all the AI stuff. So you can set this up for whatever you want in terms of a morning routine. I also get it to check my Stripe payments from the previous day and what I've got on my calendar for today as well. So it kind of just gives me a summary of what's happening today so I can kind of prepare. Update on payments from the previous day, and then any news that's happening that I need to be aware of. I also get it to manage my inbox. So I could probably get my VA to do this, but I'm just kind of testing an AI agent in terms of archiving like spam stuff, like promotional stuff, sorting out my client stuff into different categories or labels. So I basically say I still actually read all my emails, the ones that go into my primary inbox, not the promotional stuff. And then once I've read it or opened the email, then I get my AI to put it in the relevant category. So I don't have like a gazillion emails coming through. And then every day it gives me a summary of what it did. So what needs my attention, what was labeled, what was low priority, what was archived. It gives me a detailed summary every single day so I know what's been happening. Ads-wise, I get a detailed report on my ad campaign, so campaigns, ad sets, and ads. It gives me a recommendation on what to do based on the parameters that I have set as well. Finance, I get a weekly update on my finance in terms of like client payments, any clients that have been declined, or any payment people I need to follow up with. That happens on autopilot. Again, this is all set up through Claude., and then it communicates with me on Slack. Okay, uh, in terms of fulfillment for my clients, if they fill in a weekly check-in form, we get an AI agent to, uh, put it in the Slack channel so we can get back to our clients, um, promptly with a response to their check-in form. My AI agent, um, can do my podcast summary. It can also, uh, email my pipeline for a every single week once my podcast has been scheduled. So I basically just post the description, the title of the podcast, and then my AI agent will analyze it, make an email, and then I just need to approve the email. Then it automatically sends it to my database, which is pretty cool. So I'm just, I'm just giving you guys like some ideas in terms of what you can automate. A lot of this stuff is all done through Claude, specifically Claude Code. So you can set up like routines where it just happens, just happens on autopilot every single week. So in terms of AI agents, I've got, I've got 2 AI agents, one that's for my podcast in terms of making, making content. And the other one is for sending the email. So I've got 2 of those. Another AI agent that I've got does sales coaching. So basically after every single sales call that I've got, I've got a script that I get. So I get the transcript and then I get it to go through the script and I basically get it to, I get it to coach me. And then literally within 2 minutes after the sales call is done, in my Slack, I've got a channel called Sales Coaching. Gives me an overview, gives me a score on what I did well, what I didn't do well. So one went well, what broke down, and then 3 improvements for the next call. So I basically got a sales manager as part of my team as well, which is pretty freaking cool if you ask me. So this has all been done through Claude Code, and then Claude Code has actually built the automation in N8n. Okay, so Claude Code or Claude Cowork can technically do it as well, but I technically use more Claude Code more than anything. So I just wanted to give you guys a bit of an insight into you know, what's some of the things that I do that are completely automated for me to make much better decisions a lot faster. The key here is you get the data, the reporting a lot faster. You don't have to go and manually go dig it up. It just gets, it just, it can get sent to your email if you want. I personally just have it get sent to my Slack channel and I'll just check my Slack once a day to keep me updated with what's happening. So, yeah, I just wanna give you guys some insights into what that looks like. You don't need a massive AI stack of tools. Like, I'm not— I don't even think I'm on the max plan on Claude. I think I pay maybe $50 a month. I still technically pay for Manus. Manus is pretty good for creating images. So I still use, still use it for that. But that's pretty much it. Don't go too overboard with the AI stuff. Claude can pretty much do everything. Okay, so if you guys need help with this, then, um, you know, check out the link in the description if you want some help, uh, implementing AI. We still offer some services for done for you, um, but we're also just about to launch a done with you program where I'm going to teach you everything that I know and you guys are going to be able to do it, um, yourself in your business. 'Cause you know, you know your systems and processes better than me. So you guys are gonna be able to ideally get better results a lot faster than what I can. So if you guys have any questions on different AI tools and softwares, let me know. But they're the ones that I use. So to recap, we've got Claude, or specifically Claude Code, N8N, Manus to a little bit, and then GoHighLevel, which is my CRM or ACR specifically, which is a white label version of GoHighLevel. That's all I need, and that's more than likely all you need as well. Don't get caught up with all the shiny objects, all the new AI softwares coming out. Just keep it simple. My suggestion would be Claude for 90% of your automations, because it can actually build a lot of the automations for you and suggest the right tools that you guys need to get the result that you're looking for. So see you next week.
