A short personal-narrative excerpt from a YouTube video in which the speaker describes discovering the business side of personal training around ages 17–18, which increased their passion for the field. They emphasize the appeal of growth opportunities and both financial and time freedom as motivations for pursuing a personal-training business.

I guess when I was younger, I didn't realize the extent of running a business, so I didn't know much of the back end of things. But when I, when I got older and maybe when I was like 17, 18, and I started learning a little bit more about how a personal trainer works and how they run, run a business, essentially inside a gym, definitely gave me a bit more passion for it. And, you know, when I found out as well that the opportunity for growth is there and the freedom is there as well, financially and, and time freedom as well, that kind of. I took a liking to that a lot and I started to pursue that from there.
