Short YouTube spoken reflection about the emotional experience of losing a client and a positive cognitive reframe: the speaker recounts crying after their first lost client, acknowledges feelings of self-doubt, then reframes the departure as the client having gained independence and as creating space for a new client who is better aligned.
A challenge that we all go through is like, losing a client always hurts. I remember when I lost my first ever client, I just cried and. Because you think it's like, something wrong with you or what you've done, but sometimes it isn't, and you've done your best, I kind of was just like, okay, this is my thought process around losing a client, and I find it really helpful. Is that, okay, she's came to me, she's got what she needed, and now I'm open to a new client that is more aligned to me, and I can help her more because with this particular client, she was just like. Like, she was really grateful, and she's like, thanks for all of your help. And she just wants to go off and do it on her own now, which is obviously hard still, but I was just like, okay, she doesn't. She. She doesn't need me anymore. Now I've got space for someone that does really need me and is more aligned to me. I guess that's so good, though, because, like, as one door closes, like, another opportunity comes. Yeah.
