Mat shares how daily structure and simple practices stopped his constant burnout. He went from working 24/7 to using routines like sitting in sunlight, meditation, and intentional breaks to catch burnout early.
I think previously, before, I didn't have that structure in place. Burnout was a lot more frequent as well, because like I said, I felt like I was working literally 247 when I wake up and before I go to bed. So having that in place now is has really been beneficial towards me not getting burnt out as often. When I feel the burnout coming on, I feel like it's just a mix of both. Like, I've got some things there that I do regularly. Like I said, I sunlight. I kind of take a time to take a few deep breaths. I'm a big fan of mindfulness as well, so I like my meditation. Whether that be just, like I said, sitting in the sunlight, reading a book, or just taking a few deep breaths to myself, I feel like that's also really beneficial to keep me going.
