In this motivational video, Matthew AI critiques the common “one‑guy” fixation that many people adopt when trying to attract a romantic interest. He explains how obsessively investing emotional energy in a single person inflates that person’s perceived value, creates a scarcity mindset, and leads to low self‑respect and desperate behavior that actually reduces attraction. Instead of trying to win over one specific individual, Matthew urges viewers to shift focus to becoming an attractive person through self‑growth, spontaneity, and social proof. By expanding one’s social circle, building a fulfilling life, and showing that others are interested, the viewer naturally becomes more appealing, and the previously fixated individual will notice this change. The talk concludes with a call to share personal growth experiences, and a promotion of Matthew’s Facebook page and related content.

You know how most sentences start when I start talking to women? Matt, let me tell you about this one guy. No, there isn't one guy. There's 3.5 billion guys. When a woman comes to me and starts talking about this guy, there's this guy at work that I really like that I've been thinking about for a long time and we've been friends for a long time and sometimes we flirt but not really but just no more of this guy. If you're talking about it now, the time was probably before now to have done something. In fact, it definitely was. That's why you can go out to a party where you're with a bunch of people and this guy and you've been trying to work on him for months and all of a sudden some other woman comes along and gets him in one night and you go, oh my God, I've been nice to him for months. I've been doing things for him. I've been lovely to him. I've been trying to flirt with him. Little banterous moments, little moments of connection and all of a sudden she comes in and does more in a night than I could do in six months or five years. We see attraction the wrong way. People are constantly asking, how do I I get this one guy attracted? This one guy? Instead of saying, how can I become attractive? How can I become attractive? Not just to one guy, but to two guys? I get it. We all have crushes. We've all had crushes. I think about school. And I think about that woman that I was attracted to, or I should say that girl that I was attracted to. And how it was just crushing me inside to think about this person. This person seems so amazing. And because She was the only person that I thought about. She'd become more amazing by the day. See, I want to tell you something. That guy that you keep thinking about, he becomes more amazing every day because you're thinking about him all the time and no one else. And when you think about someone, you're investing in them on an internal level. And when you're investing in them, they become more attractive because we value what we invest in. And when you've invested all of that thought and all of that energy and all of that hope into one person, the stakes get so high that you stop being yourself around them. and you stop doing the things that could actually get them attracted. Like just being a great person, like by having fun, being out of your head, being spontaneous, not giving a damn about the result. But we don't do that when they become that one guy. When I think back to those girls that I had crushes on, those people never wanted me. If they said, Matt, can you hold this for me? I'd be like, she likes me. She wants me. She's changed her mind. She's finally noticed me. But no, she just noticed that I was a guy who would do anything for her because My standards for self-respect were so low that I'd do anything to get her to like me. Which, by the way, we convince ourselves comes from this beautiful place of, oh, I'm just, I would do anything for them because I like them so much. No, we'd do anything for them because we want them to like us so much. And when they sense that we'll do anything to get them to like us, their respect level goes down and their attraction goes down with it. I could give you some tips for getting a guy attracted. Of course I could. I've done it in many videos. and there's a good chance that we might be able to get that one guy attracted or that one person who's a friend to become something more. But the ultimate remedy is to go out there and focus on becoming an attractive person. And when you're out there meeting many more men, you'll realize that there are incredible people outside of the one person that you keep focusing on. This scarcity mindset that has us focusing on one person and continuously beating ourselves up in this masochistic fashion because they don't like us and we're not prepared to go and take a risk to look elsewhere. It's crazy. Let me tell you something that's really gonna attract this guy. When he sees that you're not focused on impressing him, when he sees that you're building a great life, when he sees that you're an attractive person because you don't give a damn and you're more interested in building yourself and growing and learning than you are in trying to get him to like you, and what's more, when he sees that other guys are interested in you all of a sudden, you're gonna get attraction from him like never before. The next time we meet, I want to hear about the amazing experiences you're having. I want to hear about the places you're going, the things you've learned, and all of the incredible people that you're meeting. I don't just want to hear an endless story about one person and this insular part of your life that actually separates you from all of the incredible wonders that there are out there to discover.
