Matthew AI challenges the idea that women become undesirable after a certain age. The real damage isn't the message itself, he argues, but when women believe it and internalize the lie that their worth ends with their looks.

And there is this dreadful rhetoric for so many women that at a certain point, you're done. At a certain point, you're no longer interesting to men. At a certain point, you have no value as a woman when you hit a certain age. It's a terrible, terrible, insidious message that's given to so many women. And it's not that that message doesn't come from an awful lot of men, because it does. The problem is, if we start to believe that if you you as a woman, if you're in your 50s or 60s right now, or 70s or 80s, and you start deciding my value is over as a woman because of the age I'm at, then you're done. Not because your value is over, but because you believe it is. All of us, all of us are going to get to an age where our looks aren't the same anymore.
