Chapters
This is a message to men dating women in their 30s. When you know that the woman you're dating wants kids and you don't, or maybe you're not sure, us men have a luxury. And that luxury is that we get to decide far later if we want to go ahead and pursue that life goal. If we want to have children, we can decide at a far later age than women. Women have to decide that at an age where we can still be playing around, where we can still be enjoying ourselves and acting like we're cool, acting like we're all relaxed. And of course, how easy for us to act all relaxed. We don't have that time pressure. You know, for a guy, it's not like someone's saying to you, your dream in life, the thing that you've always wanted on some level, you get to do it in the next five years or not at all. we don't have that. We don't feel that pressure. So it's easy for us to go into our relationships with women in that age group and feel like we're playing paintball, but they're playing with live ammunition. We might get hurt, we may get bruised in the process, but they can genuinely lose out on something that means the world to them. We as men have to be brave enough and courageous enough to leave. And I get it. When you love someone, leaving them can be an unbelievably difficult thing to do. But if you really love them and you know that leaving this person, letting them go gives them a shot at their dreams, it might just be the most loving thing you ever get to do. Men, we have to be brave enough to leave if we know we're going to be denying someone a shot at their dreams. And ladies, if the man you're with isn't strong enough to leave and you know this isn't heading in the direction that's going to allow you to do something that's really important to you. You have to be brave enough to do it for yourself. I'm not hating on either sex with this. This isn't a video about condemning men or calling men selfish. I'm appealing here to the humanity in people, to the kindness in people. If you love the person in front of you, then you'll let her go and pursue something that's her dream. If you don't love her, then you haven't lost very much anyway by losing this person. That's the last thing we want to do is play around with the life of someone we don't even love. Either way, you know what to do. Men and women, let's be kind to each other and let's be kind to ourselves and let's be truthful to what we actually want in life. I'll see you soon.
