In our everyday lives, I don't think we take nearly enough risks. We go about our days in a very routine way doing the same thing day in, day out. So rarely do we ever actually meet new people. Ironically, it seems that when we go on holiday, maybe just for one week, all of a sudden we meet someone we think is really attractive and then we go home and we say, oh, why can't there be people like that where I live? Why is it I meet someone great on holiday and then they're going back to this part of the country and I'm going back to this part? Well, I don't think that it's a coincidence that we meet people while we're on holiday. The holiday mindset that we get into is one that breeds opportunity. Here's why. I think there are three major reasons. One, when we're on holiday, we treat it like it's a video game. We don't have the people back home that we have to see again next week judging us and telling us that we're stupid for taking that risk, that we're going to embarrass ourselves. Instead, we just go out like nothing matters and we think, I'm not on home turf. I can talk to anybody. I'm not going to see any of these people ever again. So I'm going to take risks that I never normally would. Secondly, we have this fun and playful mindset we're on holiday. It's like we kind of loosen up a little bit. We wear a fun shirt, we put our sunglasses on our head. We start talking to people differently in a different tone. And we talk to people everywhere. We don't limit it to a Friday night when we go out. We talk to someone in the elevator of our hotel. When we're in the lobby waiting to check in, we talk to the person next to us. We're sitting at the Paul laying down and there's someone laying down in what is practically their underwear next to us and we're just like, all right, how are you? That would never normally happen in real life, but on holiday we treat it like it's socially acceptable to just be a fun, engaging person who talks to the people around them. Why is it when people come to London they say, oh, Londoners are so friendly. An American comes to London and they always talk about how friendly we are. Love Londoners, oh, they were so much fun, people were so great. Why do they say that? Because when they come to London, they talk to people and someone from London is like, F*ck me, someone's talking to me. This is weird. All right, how are you? This has made my day a bit better. It's raining outside, but you're smiling. How are you? This is better than normal London. So they go away going, oh, Americans are really outgoing and friendly. But the American was also really outgoing and friendly because they were in London on holiday. Three, there is a time limit to a holiday. That means most of us go away on a Sunday and we know we have exactly seven days to enjoy enjoy ourselves. And we think, I better start enjoying myself as quickly as possible. So we front load as much risk as we can because we want to enjoy the rest of the week. We know that in the first couple of days of a holiday, the people we meet are people we'll get to know over the course of the trip. So we're far more likely to engage and try things early on because there is the time accountability, there is a deadline. In everyday life, we feel like there are years sprawling out in front of us that we can just sit back and say, well, I'm at home. It's all going to be the same next week, next month, next year. What do I have to worry about it? I'll meet someone later on holiday. We think I want to meet someone tonight. I want to make things happen. I want to have some cool stories. So we have this time crunch that makes us act. There is a time crunch. It's called death. So start going out like time actually matters and meet people as if you were on holiday and you only had one week treat the whole. your life like you only have one week and you need to make the most of it right now. That's it for today. If you want to take more risks, if you want to get out there and have more fun, I have a program that can help you with that. It's short and sweet. It's called Attract Any Man. We'll link that up here. Go check it out. Other than that, I will see you in next week's video, my friends. Thank you so much. That's it. By the way, my sunglasses have been on my head for this whole video because if they're not on my head, then my hair just goes everywhere. It's gotten too long. I think it's time for a haircut, Jameson. You agree? You agreed six months ago.
