Real Men Carry Cash

Matthew Hussey argues that men carrying cash signals readiness and confidence, traits women find attractive. He suggests women tell a man early on that cash is "sexy" to motivate the habit. The amount doesn't matter, just having it on hand for a broken card, a tip, or a small purchase.
Chapters
Matthew Hussie here with Love Life. Now, a lot of our episodes are directed towards women, but I actually wanted to do a little episode directed towards men and women. I might tell you how this appeals to you as well. At the same time, I know you women are going to know you're going to relate to this. The title of this episode is real men carry cash. I it. One of my, one of my frustrations with guys, and by the way, I'm not a hypocrite because it's also been a frustration of my that I've had with myself in the past is when a guy gets to a situation where he needs cash and he hasn't got any. By the way, I'm not talking about having money. I'm not talking about the difference between the haves and the have nots. I'm talking about the value of carrying around some cash and not being that guy who when his card breaks, he's in trouble, or when he's tipping a valet guy, he's in trouble, or when you need a couple of dollars for something, you need to look at the person in the seat next to you and say, do you have any cash. I haven't got any. Carry around cash, guys. It's sexy. Women will tell you this. It's sexy. And again, I'm not talking, you know, do it within your means. Some guys can carry around a lot of cash. Other guys can carry around 20 bucks or 50 bucks or whatever. But just have some cash in your pocket. It's indicative of a bigger thing, which is you being prepared. That is a sexy quality in a man is a man who is prepared, who is ready, who in any situation can be ready for what is necessary. instead of having to look to the woman next to him to figure out the problem. And by the way, ladies, if you want to help a guy to do this and you don't know how to engender this sense of responsibility in him, all you have to do is early on in the relationship, preframe it. You will have heard me talk about this in some other episodes. The idea of preframing is so powerful in relationships. You preframe it by saying, I always think it's so attractive when a man has cash on him. You know, like, I'm not talking about being rich. I'm just talking like when a guy carries around cash and is prepared, I always just, it's such a turn on for a guy to be prepared for things. You only need to say that once. He won't forget it. When you say that something is a turn on, when you say something is sexy and you relate it to that thing, he will want to do it from now on. So if you say it early before you ever reach it, because if he doesn't carry around cash and you go, in the past, it's been such a turn on when guys carry around cash and you're not, then you'll end up insulting him. So what you're really doing is saying ahead of time as just something that you like in guys is when they're prepared for situations that it's just sexy when, when people are prepared like that, then you pre-frame the guy to want to be that person that's going to serve you ladies and guys. As I said, if you're listening right now, this is such a small thing, but it goes a long way. And when you need to be ready in that moment, you will Trump every other guy she's ever been with who gets stuck in that moment and doesn't know what to do and has to run to an ATM or ask her for money, not a sexy moment. That's it. Quick and easy. All right, little tip for everyone there. Have fun, guys. I will see you soon on love life. And by the way, if you are not following me on Facebook, go there now.
