In this impromptu YouTube vlog, Matthew AI and his friend Jameson stumble upon a late‑night graffiti tag on a telephone pole, allegedly made by a graffiti artist known as “Ghost.” The duo uses the sighting as a springboard for a rambling, conversational critique of what they see as the hollow rebellion of tagging a pole at 2 a.m. They point out the hypocrisy of calling such an act rebellious, contrast it with more consequential forms of protest, and note the gendered assumptions they hold about who engages in graffiti. Throughout, they marvel at the energy and determination required to climb a pole and spray paint, suggesting that the same drive could be redirected toward productive pursuits like a climbing career. The hosts also reflect on the ethical paradox of giving the tag‑maker unwanted publicity, questioning whether their video unintentionally glorifies the act. They close by inviting viewers to discuss Ghost’s motives over a cup of tea and hint at a meta‑theory that perhaps Matthew and Ghost are the same person, underscoring the self‑referential nature of their commentary.

So this is a little bit impromptu. Me and Jameson were just having a nice little coffee, weren't we? Having an espresso, very sophisticated. And as we were walking back to do a video, to do an actual blog video, we saw this. And I told Jameson, Get out your camera. Let's talk about it. Boo ghost. This is somebody's take on being a rebel. Standing on a ledge at 2 a.m. in Pitch Black is not rebellious. Rebellious is at two o'clock in the afternoon finding a police car with a policeman in it and drawing all over it. Do you know what the hypocrisy of this is? This is what annoys me. If you went to this guy's house and went and took a bunch of pink spray paint and drew hello Kitty all over the side of his wall. He'd be so upset. Oh man, this is where I live, man. Why is this guy, this guy I've got in my head is like a stoner who would never do this. The stoner would not get out of bed to get on a ledge and do this. Women don't do this, by the way, do they? You never hear of, I don't, excuse me if this is sexism, but you don't normally hear of female graffiti artists, I don't think. At least not, I guarantee if women are doing it, they're not doing this shit. At least it's better than this. So it goes along and he goes, oh yeah, man. Look, this is, he went along and he got angry here and he went, ah, property of AT&T. Enough is enough, man. Got to do it, got to do it. Police around? No, AT&T are, fuck you, all right. So he's right in here and then he's gone like this. Like, you know, when you see the dream part in the movie where they go, He cheated. He didn't even climb it. What's the final lesson? Just what is the lesson? Don't do this. Just do something good with your time. think of like he had to stay up late to do that. Clearly he has energy. That's the lesson from this. If you're there at 2 a.m. doing this you've got energy. That takes some determination. Do you know what I mean? That actually takes some determination to do that. So imagine what that guy could do if he actually took that determination and applied it in a good way. Probably he could do something. Not painting, nothing artistic. But you know what I mean, he might have a job in climbing. I'm guessing he calls himself Ghost, 'cause that seems to be a recurring theme both on the pavement over there and here. If you're watching this and you did this, we should have a cup of tea. You can tell us why you thought it was a good idea. We'll have a cup of tea. chat about it, see if we can come to some more interesting conclusions about life. I honestly don't know what to do. Should we put it out? This is actually a difficult conundrum. We've defeated our whole objective. We've given him so much attention. We've hurt Ghost more than he could have hurt himself. We need a new lesson, Jameson. We genuinely, we need a way to redeem this. Here's the message. You can make a video blog out of anything. Twist in the story. Maybe me and Ghost are the same person. Consider this. Have you ever seen Matthew Huss and Ghost in the same room? Wait.
