Why Just Being Friends With Guys Will Keep You Single

Welcome back to Love Life. I'm glad you're listening because today I'm gonna go on a little rant because we were, I was thinking this morning about women who say that, well, all my friends are guys. I don't really get on with women and how freaking annoying that is to hear. It's almost like I, when I think about it, I imagine this woman surrounded by all these guys thinking that she's the coolest woman on earth. And it's almost like this woman has no girlfriends because she doesn't believe that there's another great woman out there outside of her. You know, oh, I'm only friends with guys. I don't really get on with women. Well, what does that say about your own gender? And what does it say about you when you say that? See, the truth is, this is always an avoidance mechanism. The woman who says, I'm not really friends with women. I get on better with guys, is usually the same person who likes to remove herself from the game. She likes to be surrounded by guys so that she can just be their friend and she can be close to them and be around an energy that's not competitive. Because you know what? Women are competitive. And if you put yourself around other women, there is going to be a level of competition. Just as if you're a guy and you hang around other guys, there's going to be a level of competition. If I said, I only get on with women, I don't hang around with any guys, it's kind of another way of saying, I don't want to compete with my own. I'd rather just be around women and not have to be part of that whole game. But it's a really sad thing because there is so much beautiful energy to be taken from women. By the way, the guys that you hang out with, the guys that you say, well, I only enjoy hanging around with guys. Guess who they like hanging around with? Women. So you're not the same as them. They like hanging around with girls. That's what they'd rather be doing most of the time than hanging around with their guys. They like to be hanging around with women because guys love female energy. They may want to have masculine energy themselves, but they love being around female energy. Female energy is incredible. Female energy is beautiful. And those women who avoid it in order to be around more guys, usually are the ones who lose it because they forget how to be female. They forget how to have that feminine energy that is so powerful around guys. That woman who says, well, all my friends are guys, she's always the same woman who puts her hand up in a seminar when I do one of my live tours and says, you know, guys just don't really see me as as that, that woman that they want to be with. They see me as their friend. They don't, they see me as one of the guys. Well, of course they do. Of course they do. How could they see you any other way? They don't see you act feminine. They don't see you be one of the girls ever. And it's really attractive. You know how, ladies, I know you know this. When you see a guy being one of the guys, sometimes it's really hot, right? You don't want it all the time, all day, every day. But sometimes you just want to see him be a guy. You want to see him be around the guys and play sports and do something. manly and do something, have some male banter. You know you like it because that's what separates guys from you. That's what creates this diversity in the world. But so often I find, and I find this as a larger point in life, people remove themselves from the game. They say, oh, well, I don't do that. I don't know. I don't play that game. I'm not, I, you know, I only hang around with guys is another way of saying, I don't want to have to compete. I don't want to have to be part of a game. If I can remove myself from it altogether, I don't have to play it. But of course, if you're not playing the game, if you're not in it, you're also not getting the results in. In taking away any level of competition, you also remove yourself from being able to get something that you really want. And it's not Noble to say that you don't get on with 50 of the population. It's why, in fact, what could be more arrogant? than that, because you're definitely the only cool woman around, right? You're definitely the only cool one. Everyone else sucks, right? And us guys are lucky to have you. No, of course not. We know there are amazing people out there. And what I would suggest is if you're saying, I don't really get on with guys, or I don't really get on with women, it doesn't matter which gender it is. If you're saying that you don't get on with this enormous group of people, take a look at yourself and ask yourself why? Why is it I don't get on with these people? Why am I trying to avoid them? What is it I'm really afraid of? And if you get the answer to that question, now you're actually starting to get somewhere with your own growth. So question everything, my friends. Whatever you say as that generalization that you know is ridiculous, always question why that's your generalization and what specific experiences coming from, because if you can do that, you'll really start to grow and you'll start to develop yourself in much more powerful ways. Take care my friends, I'll see you next time in Love Life!
