Stand up for me. If you don't want to take any risks today, if you just want to live comfortably, if you just want to do what feels okay to you, what feels normal, what feels natural to you, this would be a good time to leave. We thought this would be about London because it's our biggest event ever, but it doesn't end with London, does it? To be in New York, is a dream on top of that because this is one of the greatest cities in the world. To be here is a privilege. We went to Manchester, we went to Dublin, we've been all over with this and it works for women everywhere. Burning within my heart and mind. what's the noise? The edge wire. Don't make fun. I'm sick. You don't make fun of a sick person. What? I can't hear over the hair dryer in your bed. I'm getting warm. We have. I have an energy crisis. I have an energy crisis right now. What day is it? It's Wednesday. It takes me up until lunchtime Saturday. You ready for Toronto? You feeling good and ready? to get into the airport. Like, I look, I like airports. I like just, I like just sitting there and reading. Well, I'm still gonna make you do a vlog video at the airport. All right. Wow. What? You really took that with grace. You ready? Hey guys, it's Matthew. So I am at the airport right now with Jameson. We are in Chicago, about to go to Toronto. I was thinking recently about what you need to be able to model success. There are three things. The first is we need to know process. What's the process that someone goes through in order to do what they do? The second thing is we need to get a sense of their mistakes. That person's stumbling. I'm gonna go back. Am I loud enough? We kind of, we wanted to do something that that was much more raw than we've been doing and give you guys a chance to come on the journey with us and hopefully at worst you'll be entertained and at best you, from my mistakes and my shortcomings and the problems that I encounter along the way, maybe it will also make you feel more encouraged in what you're doing when you're making mistakes and you're trying to achieve something, we can kind of share our journeys together a little bit. I think it's really important that we share the real journey, not just the part that looks like it's going well. Too many milk by any chance? I do not. No milk. Okay, I'll take one of those. Thank you. Well, you can't have it all, James. Does it annoy you that I ordered a beer? Yeah, but you've done nothing to ease my pain during this sick week where I've been forbidden everything. Is this the tea you had in your pocket for the last 3,000 miles? Or is this from the airplane? I took this from the lounge. You never know when you're gonna go without tea and this is a perfect example. I'm on the rocky road heading down off the mountain slope and there's my steps Echo, echo louder than before How are you? How you getting on? What media do you have on this trip? Oh Jesus, the camera again. I actually thought for once you might be asking me a question just as a friend. It's basically nothing but media or wig. So what are you doing for fun? I don't know, I can't have fun because with my throat and my not being well, It's not good. But it's probably good because otherwise we'd go out and we'd hit it and then I'd have to get up for media and TV and it would be horrible. It's one of my favorite things. Just love seeing life, you know? Like cities, so much life all in one place. Such a short space. For a moment I thought that moment might be for you and I. Nope. No can do. There are no more moments between just Jameson and I. What time do we have to wake up for your first media appearance tomorrow? I don't know what time we have to wake up tomorrow. I have to check the schedule. We have like two TV shows to do tomorrow, I think, and two radio shows and an interview with Elle. So we need to stop this fucking filming. So I need to get on and actually work on what I have to do. Let's ask it. It's too early to order some breakfast. What couldn't you do from breakfast? I'm gonna have a look at this and call you right back. By the way, you know, quinoa and honey, what quinoa for breakfast? Mental. And it's live. Yeah, it's live. Anything can happen. Do you have a different strategy for live versus not live? No. Because it'll all be live at one point or another. You don't edit yourself more or anything? No. No. Play the game, not the occasion. Remember that? If you don't remember that, go see episode one. Welcome back to the KISS 92.5 Studios. Matthew Hasi. Hello. What's going on, brother? Well, thank you for having me again. It's always a pleasure. It's a great reaction when you're on the show. You have, like, the keys to the kingdom when it comes to how to pick up dudes. And you share this as a guy that always sounds well. What do you get? What do people want now? Because the world is right now with Tinder and everything else. What do people want now? It's a good question. I think they want the same thing they've always wanted. People still want a relationship, they still want connection, but we have all these different ways of doing it now and it feels like it's changed the game. See, I would argue it hasn't really changed the game. We still have to, at the end of the day, even if you meet someone on Tinder or an online date, you still have to then go on the date and be charming. We still have to have all of the skills we've always had to have. But the problem is now, It's far easier to just brush someone aside. You know, you're just swiping left to get rid of people. Yeah. That part is really easy. I think to some extent we've lost our empathy. Yeah. Because we're not used to rejecting people in person anymore. Because it's easier, right? Yeah, and I think honestly, personalities are becoming eroded. I think people are losing the ability to actually be charismatic, and that's a problem. Matthew Hassie, if people want to do see you, 12 to 6 at the Renaissance Toronto Hotel Downtown on March 7th. Dude, anytime you're in Toronto, you gotta visit us. and hit music. That's amazing. That's so good. Matthew Hussey is the world's leading expert in attraction and love, and he has coached over 19 million women on how to get what they want from love. And he is here on the Breakfast Show this morning. Thank you. What a lovely introduction. Is it correct that I say be very clear almost? Like, don't be so coy. Send the message. Yeah, and I always say to people, it's possible to both be upfront and remain high value and not desperate at the same time. For example, if I walked through a bar and I looked at a woman, I said, as I was walking through to my friends, I said, by the way, you look beautiful tonight. I don't know if anyone's told you that. I said, have a great evening. And I kept walking. That would be so confusing. Yes. Because this person would be going, does he like me? Is he gonna come back? Should I go over to him? Is he gay? I'm not sure. This person wouldn't know. And the whole time they're wondering about that, they're investing. And that investment is good because it builds attraction. When we invest in someone mentally and emotionally, we become attracted to them, so. What you're really doing is demonstrating interest, but then creating space so that that person can come back in to fill that space. Where was Matthew when I was single? You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm engaged now. Where were you 10 years ago? What's one final thing you want to say to these guys before they go out to make the women of their dreams? So is that, so are we not giving advice to these guys? There's elements of it, but we really want to target all of our viewers. We don't want to make it too specific. I just don't want it to look like we've ignored giving advice to men the whole show. And then these guys are about to go off dating and it's like, you want to be yourself, fellas. I won't. And they're going to be, getting made over during the show, so they're not even around. Why'd you have him back? That is a mystery. A little bit. No, because he's great TV and his advice makes sense and resonates with a lot of people. And it's stuff that people take with them and they can apply to their lives right away. Canada always is really welcoming to us. We love having you. Yeah, Toronto is good to us. Toronto always, we always have a full schedule here. There's no time to enjoy Toronto because I'm too busy preparing notes for you. You haven't seen this yet and you haven't heard this, but yesterday I co-hosted the entire hour with Marilyn Denis. And every time I've done the Marilyn Denis show, he's given me more responsibility every time. So they started off with four minutes. They went, oh, it's all right. We'll give him six. Then they went for eight. And then this time around, they said, man, we want you to do the whole show as Marilyn's co-host and we're going to pack half of the house with men and half with women. So it's going to be different and unique. It's going to be like a special show. I think it comes out next Tuesday or something like that. And this one producer, you always walk. There's this moment where you're about to You're going to do this walk from behind the scenes to past the audience, they film your entrance, and then they film you greeting Marilyn on this little stage. It's one producer every single time leans over and the cameraman will go, all right, three, two, and I'm about to do the walk-on. He'll come up to me and he'll go, Matt, number one rule, don't fuck it up. It's going to be a great show today. Please welcome my special co-host, New York Times bestselling author of Get the Guy, Love Life Strategist, Matthew Hussey. We got these two fantastic people here, and we're gonna play a game. We're gonna play a game, we're gonna have a date. Yeah. Oh my gosh, we're doing a date. You guys are on a first date, and we're gonna see Some of the things that normally happen on a first date. Okay. So you guys can just run with it and start as if, you know, you both really like each other, which will be hard. Look at the two of you. But what is this for? Well, this green button here is what we're gonna press if something goes wrong. Okay. And then we'll explain what went wrong. And action. Hey, I'm Landon. And you are? Andrea. Andrea. Nice to meet you, Landon. Yeah, same. What do you like to eat? That's a really hard question for me. I love everything. Everything. It's bad. Start with your first favorite thing. I don't have favorites. What about you? The least sexy thing in the world is not having an opinion. Tell me a bit about your love life. Can I have the platter, please? That is a good question. All right, I'll see what you can do. What do you say first? It's non-existent. I love her honesty. She's honest with me. What the hell is wrong with that? What do you mean, honesty? Thank you. Why would anyone say that ever? Landon, bad question. That too. I thought that was a bad question too. Here's what I want you to say next. How's the state of your love life? you could just say, well, I'm kind of choosy, but I feel like that's good, because anyone you end up in a relationship with should be someone who's really amazing. Now Landon thinks, oh, gosh, I really have to be amazing to be with this woman. He feels challenged, as opposed to with someone who no one ever wants. We're back with Matthew Hussey and Alexis Honnold talking about great night looks. OK, when you go on a date, date night, you don't know what you're going to wear. You fuss about a little bit too much, and you get a little crazy on that. And we want to know what you guys think about some of these things. clear outfits, too. OK, so what I thought, this is great for day, because again, we're having comfortable, casual pieces in relaxed fits, so we have, like, flowy tops and that kind of thing. I think you look beautiful. OK. Matthew Hussey. Oh, no. Daytime. Where are we? Can you come here, lovely? This is Janice. This is the kind of why she's been-- Does this bit come off here? If I do this, wait. Yeah, yeah, hold on. All right. Okay, we hope we inspired you. Have a break, everybody. Everybody mingle. That you, Hussain Show is done. Thank God. I'm excited to be out for the day. That was a long one. It was good, though. I mean, we didn't know we hit a ton of crap. You fucking cracked me up every time you went out there. What is your word of advice before Matt goes on every time? He said don't fuck it up. He literally comes up to me. He literally comes up to me. Number one rule, don't fuck it up. Almost done. Three left. 12 hours to showtime. It's not 12 hours. What do you mean? I'm trying to get it done. 13 hours of show time. Thank God. How you feeling? I'm all right. I'm not on my best. I will be, but at this very moment, I'm struggling just a little. I feel like, are we a little medical heavy here in this episode? You better cut all this out, 'cause it's boring, isn't it? I don't think it's boring. I think it's boring to hear about someone else's illness. I feel like we're really antibiotics heavy in the narrative of this. I'm boring myself. So definitely, if this is still in, the episode didn't go well. Like you didn't get enough footage if this stayed in. Answer this question. When you feel like crap, and you have a big important thing to do, what keeps you going? You read the, you read all the little tweet notifications. Check this out. On the GO train to see GO train? To see to Toronto to see Matthew Hussey smiley face. Rising early on a Saturday is no chore when you're off to spend the day with Matthew Hussey. GetTheGuyLive Toronto. You remember that there's people that are coming out to see you, that they had to get a babysitter, book a train ticket, take time off work, and that it doesn't matter how ill you feel or what's going on in your life, you have to respect those people. That changes everything. You have to give the same performance every time, no matter what. Better, in fact, every time. Come rain or shine, however you're feeling. That to me is a good performer. It's so incredible at the same time. There is nothing like it. And I'm not just talking about the love of someone for the rest of your life. I'm talking about different forms of love. When you go out for a night and you meet someone amazing, have a look at my microphone, I'm going to speak without it for a minute. We're going in and out, I think. We're going in and out? Yeah. So to speak. The thing about love is that you can plan and plan and plan and plan and plan and shit still never goes the way you want it. Sometimes it's even better because it gives you a chance to do something else, gives you a chance to practice your projection, which maybe you haven't had to do in a while. Whether you can perform under pressure. Life is interesting. It gives us many opportunities which many of us think are problems. I think that's where you learn everything is when those things go wrong. We spend so much time trying to avoid things like that, which seem horribly embarrassing. But actually that's where you learn everything. That's what makes you seasoned. So I'm strangely happy. I always feel like those are war wounds. So we just got new war wounds today. And you have to love the journey, even the shit. When the night feels my soul, I'll be home When the night feels my soul I'll be home. [Jut] I'll be home.
