In this vlog, Matt Ragland records from the Frothy Monkey in Chattanooga, Tennessee, discussing the common struggle of building good habits, especially for creators aiming to improve future outcomes like fitness or productivity. He focuses on habit stacking as a method to develop digital products and courses—such as ebooks and sketchnote tutorials—by integrating small, consistent actions. Ragland references a post from withcoach.com that draws heavily on James Clear’s habit research, encouraging viewers to read the linked article for practical steps. He invites audience interaction through comments and suggestions for future sketchnotes, positioning the video as both instructional and community‑building.

Everyone, welcome to today's video. I'm coming at you live today from the Frothy Monkey in the Chattanooga Choo Choo of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It's a beautiful new building. Well, the building itself isn't new, but the shop has only been here for 3 days. It's a great space. It's huge. Let me show you real quick. This is just a little bit of it. In today's video, what I want to show you is something that I think a lot of us struggle with, which is building good habits, and especially building habits towards something that you want to improve in the future. So maybe it's fitness, maybe it's something with productivity that you want to do. Something that I've been working on is the creation of digital products and courses, like ebook, or like showing people more about how to sketchnote. I have a course, but it's, it's something that I could do a lot better with. So I've been following the guys guys and girls from Coach, from withcoach.com, and they put out a post that I was reading that I really enjoyed and I wanted to share with you. It's the one I'm going to sketch note today, so I encourage you to go check it out. It's really worthwhile. They also draw a lot from James Clear's writing, which I really like. James is a friend and someone that I've learned a ton from. So the link is going to be in the description below. I encourage you to check it out, but you're going to get some good information here on how you can, how you can build more products, how you can create more courses, and the little little things that you can do to stack those habits to move you in the direction to build the momentum towards being the kind of person, the kind of creator that you want to be. So hope that you enjoy this video. Leave some comments, let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions for future sketches to make, please leave those as well. I really appreciate you watching, and I'll get back to it. Thanks, bye!
